Ch. 12
Slurs, leading cause of testicle pain
The Byers' House, 6 pm
"Goodbye, Mike!" Joyce said as he walked out the door.
"Bye, Mrs. Byers!" Mike said, a little tipsy, if intoxicated at all at this point. Hopper's truck pulled up further and she-who-shall-not-be-named stepped out. Hopper, not seeing Mike, pulled away. El walked up to Mike and said, "Well, dipshit, how drunk are you? I'm disappointed. Thought you would have at least gone to the hospital for alcohol poisoning. Oh well, too bad."
"Are you fucking kidding me! Is my pain funny to you now? I honestly considered suicide if I couldn't win you back." Mike replied angrily, almost snarling the words.
"Well, you didn't seem to care about my pain and hurt from getting lead on by your ass, so yeah, to me your pain's kinda funny right now. But you know what's even funnier? How pathetically you fell apart after I dumped you. The pain is funny. The level of pathetic you're displaying right now is fucking HILARIOUS." El replied, laughing bitterly. "You know what? Fine, I'll take you back. I was a little hasty. Get me some chocolate and we're good. I don't want to break up over something so stupid as sex. We can just never have sex." El said, sarcastically,
"You know what? I'm better off not dating a slut like you anyway. You fucking thirsty ass bitch. The minute I wouldn't satisfy your appetite, you dumped me so you could find another 5 guys to shack up with." Mike said, causing El to tear up, and start crying (Mike doesn't really mean any of this, by the way. I promise, he's just hurt, angry, and confused, so he's lashing out. And keep in mind that El has done this to him (lashing out) countless times, so while what he's doing isn't okay in the slightest, karma's a bitch). "How does it feel, El? Not good, right? Fucking bitch," Mike said, bitterly lashing out, just like El does when she's under stress or emotional duress. El walked over and slapped him so hard across the face his head snapped back and he could feel a bruise forming. She then sucker-punched him so hard in the gut he doubled over, then kneed him in the balls. He shoved her to the ground, causing her to adopt an offensive stance and launch a flurry of kicks and punches at his face, to which he responded in kind, landing a couple of hits on her face and chest. Joyce, having come out to see why El hadn't come inside 5 minutes after Hopper's truck had arrived, was horrified at the sight occurring before her. (She came out right as Mike called El a slut, and froze, unsure of how to react.)
"El! Mike! STOP OR I WILL CALL THE COPS!" She shouted, before calling for Jonathan to come help her break up the fight, and for Will to call Hopper. Nancy pulled up as well and was horrified at the violent scene before her. Jonathan wrapped Mike in a bear hug and lifted him before Mike head-butted him right in the nose, causing Jonathan to release Mike, who kept on swinging at El. Nancy then tossed some hairspray to Jonathan before pulling a taser out of the glovebox and tasering El. Jonathan then quickly sprayed Mike in the face with the hairspray, effectively ending the fight.
10 mins later, Joyce's room. (Mike is in Jonathan's room, Will, by his own choice immediately evacuated to Castle Byers. By the way, Will doesn't know how bad the fight was, he just heard his mom shout, "Will! Call Hopper! NOW!")
"WHAT THE FUCK was THAT!?" Joyce practically screeched at El. "I work my ass off for you two, staying up for hours on end worrying and planning or researching strategies because I refuse to give up on either of you, but ESPECIALLY you, El. Then you turn around and destroy ANY PROGRESS that had been made THE NIGHT OF! You couldn't even wait A DAY! ACTUALLY, you put us BACKWARDS in less than a day! You destroyed your romantic relationship in a day! Then, Mike proceeded to scrap the wreckage, with you incinerating whatever was left, leaving only a few twisted, scorched fragments of a once beautiful and deadly ship. Do you know what happens now, El?" Joyce asked, her voice cracking. "Normally, I'd recommend for a restraining order to Hopper for BOTH of your protection against mutual domestic violence, but you are a special case, so here's what's going to happen. You are going to apologize to Mike for your cruel manipulation of his emotions, and the physical harm you inflicted on him. You will record this on video. I will show this video to Mike. He will choose whether or not to record a similar video before you two meet again. It's his choice when he wants to apologize, just like it's your choice when you're ready to get back together with him. Let me warn you, if you say you're ready, that requires you to have forgiven Mike. The same goes for him. And I'm doing this to illustrate that in a relationship, sometimes forgiveness is needed pre-apology. A woman who doesn't understand that is little more than a spoiled little girl with boobs." Joyce finished, then seeing El wasn't going to respond, left the room.

NEW PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT/AN: THE WEED THAT EL SMOKES IS 80'S WEED. THAT HAD WAY LESS THC, SO WHILE IT WAS STILL BAD FOR YOU, IT WAS SIGNIFICANTLY LESS SO. NOW WEED WILL MESS YOU THE HELL UP. DONT DO IT. Also, I can hear you saying, "But if it was still bad for you, and El claims to get extremely high every day, how is she not getting messed up?" The answer is that she smokes in public, never in private. She only does it to provoke Hopper. When she doesn't want to do that, she doesn't get high. She was EXTREMELY exaggerating her drug usage there to make Mike look bad. Also, some characters, (not main ones) will use some harder drugs. Honestly, that will probably only be ecstasy. THAT IS A DEADLY AND EXTREMELY ILLEGAL DRUG. EL ONLY PRODUCES IT BECAUSE SHE IS BEING THREATENED WITH SERIOUS PHYSICAL HARM. THE CHEMICAL PROCESSES THAT PRODUCE THIS DRUG ARE JUST AS OR MORE DANGEROUS AS THE USAGE OF THIS DRUG. IT IS FOR SURE MORE ILLEGAL THAN THE USAGE OF IT. LIKE, DEA BLACK-OPS UNITS WITH MACHINE GUNS KICKING DOWN YOUR DOOR IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT ILLEGAL. Simply put, don't use or produce any illegal drugs, and I KNOW you know not to, but just DON'T, okay? Ok, I'll step off my soapbox now. That was mainly for legal reasons.
