Ugh I'm just so in love with Fred and George… I can't… Well I hope you enjoy this chapter!

Chapter Twelve

Draco did not bother Natalie after that. He had received a mysterious letter that was from "anonymous" that threatened if he ever tried to treat any girl like how he did the night of the first ask, he would be met with a worst fate than being in the Hospital Wing for a week.

There was a fresh excitement filling Hogwarts as Christmas was approaching. The Yule Ball was happening Christmas night and Natalie was so excited to wear the beautiful scarlet colored dress that her mother sent her. It was attached with a note that said "Tell Fred we said Hello. I thought red would be a lovely choice for a Gryffindor. Xoxo- Mum."

George was bringing Angelina Johnson and the four were going to walk to the Great Hall together. The three Gryffindor's were waiting outside of the Slytherin common room for Natalie to appear. She noticed that Angelina looked rather uncomfortable and cold in the dungeons. Fred's mouth dropped when the blonde Slytherin walked out of the common room entrance. "You look… wow." Fred smiled and wrapped her up into his arm, kissing every inch of her cheek up to her temple.

"You clean up pretty nicely yourself, Freddie." She giggled at the feeling of his warm lips peck her face with passion.

Natalie had convinced her mother to send both the twins new dress robes anonymously. They had to have known it was her family, but they didn't complain. It was probably after seeing the hideous robes that Ronald had to wear that they knew what could have been if they had let Molly send them Weasley hand me downs to wear tonight.

Fred pulled back from kissing her to admire her from head to toe. Natalie felt herself blush the shade of the scarlet dress that clung to her. She nervously fixed the gold, snake bracelet that was on her bicep. "Are you done?"

"I have all night to admire the art, don't I?" Fred winked.

"You look beautiful, Angelina." Natalie smiled at the Gryffindor. The girl was wearing a white dress that showed off her strong arms from Quidditch in a powerful and beautiful way.

The girl smiled. "Thank you. I would say the same to you, but it seems Fred is going to talk you ear off all night about it." The four laughed as they began their way to the Great Hall.

Natalie's breath was taken away as they walked into the Hall. It was transformed into a magical scene. There was magical snow falling from the sky and large Christmas trees filled the hall. There were tables all along the edge of the hall with beautiful table clothes and flower arrangements on them. The center was a large dance floor that was lit up in a mystical way that softened the lights to create a more romantic and serene scene.

After the champions had their grand entrance, the room erupted into cheers for the four. Natalie heard Fred and George cheer loudly and proudly for Harry like he was one of their own brothers. She smiled up at Fred as he was caught up in the scene in front of him.

Once the Weird Sisters took the stage, it was time to dance. Fred look down at Natalie and smiled. "May I have this dance?" He bent down and held out his hand in a dramatic way.

She curtsied in response. "Why of course you may, Mr. Weasley."

He laughed. "Oh god, that's my dad. Don't call me that." Fred grabbed her waist and pulled her onto the dance floor.

Despite him being so tall, he was rather graceful. They looped and circled the other couples naturally in a way that Natalie didn't believe to be possible. During a slow song where it was only expected that the couples sway, Fred pulled her close to him and pulled her lips up to his. She sighed into the kiss and felt herself melt into his arms. "I love you, Natalie." Her murmured quietly to her.

She smiled at him and felt her heart race fast. "I love you too, Freddie. With my entire heart and soul."

"Time is going by too fast; I don't want this night to end." Fred looked around.

Natalie was shocked to see how empty the Hall was. There were only a handful of couples on the dance floor still, dancing to what was probably one of the few songs that the Weird Sisters would perform that night. "It doesn't have to end…" Natalie smiled and leaned into him. "Let's get out of here, together."

Fred looked down at her shocked with a mischievous look in his eyes. "Where would you suggest, Nat?"

"You're supposed to the expert at these kinds of things."

"I think Lee and George owe me a favor or two. We can go back to Gryffindor tower for some privacy." He rubbed her back looking at her face for a reply. "Only if you want, of course."

She smiled up at him and pulled him down to her height to kiss him deeply. "Of course, I want to spend the night with you, Freddie. This night has been perfect. I don't want it to end."

He grabbed her hand and they ran out of the Great Hall giggling like a pair of madmen. Fred led the two up to the Gryffindor common room entrance and whispered the password quietly. Natalie nervously glanced down the hallways and staircases afraid to see Snape or McGonagall catch the two trying to sneak away.

The common room was not empty, but they were able to head straight to the boy's dormitory without catching anyone attention. All of the students who went to the Hall were exhausted and getting ready to go to bed.

Fred opened the door to the 6th year dorm and covered Natalie's eyes dramatically. "Is everyone decent?"

"Oi, what's the Slytherin doing here?" Lee joked as Fred dropped his hands off of her eyes.

"Err—well, actually—" Fred began to blush deeply and laughed nervously. "She's here to hang out with me for a bit."

George laughed and bit his lip trying to stifle the laughter. "You know, I was just telling Lee that I wanted to play a rather long… long… game of Wizard's chest. Wasn't I?"

Lee Jordan laughed out loud and grabbed his pillow off of his bed. "Please put something on the door to signal that it's safe to enter. I would like to sleep in my bed tonight."

Natalie's mouth dropped and she felt her face burn with embarrassment. The two Gryffindors left the room and Fred looked down apologetically. "Sorry, that was rather less than romantic…"

"I didn't expect anything else, Freddie. This is us. Our romance is… different. It's chaos and laughter sprinkled with stolen kisses." Natalie grabbed his hands and kissed his hand.

"God, you're so good with words… You could work for the Daily Prophet you know." Fred was clearly nervous as he was talking rather fast.

"Fred… I can go back to my common room…"

"No!" He wrapped his arms around her protectively. "You just got here. I don't want you going anywhere."

"Well, let's just hangout, silly." She laid down on his bed and fluffed his crimson colored pillow.

He smiled wickedly down at her. "You do look beautiful in that dress, Nat…"

She blushed all across her cheeks. "Thanks, Freddie." She said quietly.

Fred sank into the bed next to her and looked deep into her eyes. He leaned into her and she inhaled deeply the smell of vanilla, smoke, and the pine from the trees that they were hiding in at the Yule Ball for a while. "Is it okay, if I kiss you?"

She smiled and pulled his head down to hers in response. They were snogging for a while before Natalie pulled him on top of her. His eyebrows shot up in response and he giggled. "I love you."

"I love you, too." Natalie smiled softly. "I… I want to… I want tonight to be…" She kept stumbling over her words.

"Me too." Fred smiled and kissed the top of her nose. "I wasn't sure how you felt."

"I'm ready." She grabbed his face and looked deep into his eyes. "I want you, Fred."

His eyes danced with anticipation and admiration at the girl who he was in love with. Gently, they began to explore each other. There was a lot of awkwardness and they bumped into each other, but they were filled with giggles and kisses after each occurrence which made Natalie feel safe and protected in the moment. She knew Fred was as new to this as she was.

He quickly put a silencing charm on the dormitory before they got to the point of climax. Natalie was grateful for this as they both exclaimed rather loudly into each other's ears. She smiled and played with his red hair as he laid his head on her chest. Her dress was laying on the ground next to his dress robes. "That was… lovely." Natalie giggled and kissed the top of his head.

"I want to do that for the rest of my lifetime with you." Fred looked up looking half asleep as he smiled at Natalie. "I love you so much, Natalie. You're perfect for me."

"You're my soulmate, I think."

He kissed her lips. "Would you want to stay the night?"

She felt so sleepy and his bed was rather comfy. "I don't have anything to wear." She admitted sadly.

Fred jumped out of bed and began to rummage through his trunk. Natalie admired how his muscles moved while he was sorting through his things. Freddie was rather attractive and built from all those years of Quidditch and climbing through secret passageways. While she was admiring her boyfriend, a scarlet XL shirt came flying her way. It hit her square in the face and the two laughed.

She put it on and put on a pair of his shorts. "You look good in Gryffindor colors, Natalie."

Her pale eyes got a glimpse of her reflection, she was wearing a XL Gryffindor Quidditch shirt that had Fred's number on the back and two beater sticks crossing the front with the roaring lion in-between them. She deeply inhaled his scent and realized she didn't miss her silky emerald pajamas in her trunk. This old shirt was better than anything she could have worn tonight.

She climbed into bed as Fred went and opened the door quickly. He enchanted the sign on the door to turn from Crimson to Gold which must have been the symbol that the boys could re-enter the common room.

When he climbed into bed, George and Lee were entering the room. "You can at least clean up after yourself." George jokingly said as he kicked his brothers dress robe out of the way and climbed into bed, already in pajamas.

"Good night, love birds!" Lee sang as he closed the curtains around his bed posts.

"Good night, guys. I'm happy for you." George smiled and laughed before closing his own scarlet Gryffindor curtains around his bed post.

Fred pulled Natalie into his strong arms and they drifted into a peaceful sleep together. They knew they would be in trouble tomorrow, but that didn't bother Natalie in the slightest. Tonight she was safe and sound in the arms of none other than Fred Weasley.
