Well, with those lovely reviews out of the way, it's time to start the chapter!
Isane's date!
Resting within his bath, early in the morning, Haruki sat alone, enjoying the large baths all to himself.
That was until a new person came through the doors of the large bath, showing it to be Rias dressed in nothing but a towel. With her red hair flowing down her back, her towel barely covering her large assets, and a mixture of a pleased and shy expression on her face.
"I thought you might be in here, Haruki."
"Want to join me, Rias-chan?"
Rias nodded slowly, pulling towards the water. Her body sank into the water, and her towel became drenched. Perhaps it was intentional as he began seeing her form beneath the towel, and yet Rias hadn't commented on it either.
He could even see the nipple area, and saw how they were poking outwards.
Rias' cheeks began to match her hair colour as Haruki pulled closer.
"You like having baths with me, don't you Rias-chan?"
He began in a slightly seductive tone.
Rias batted her eyelids, and her fingers fiddled together.
"...It's relaxing to have a bath with the opposite sex."
"Is that so?" Rias inclines her neck. "Maybe I should get another guy here~"
He teased, loving the cute reactions Rias would give.
Rias widened her eyes, shaking her head.
"No, I wouldn't want to bathe with another male..."
"But, it's okay with me?"
"Well...I know you, and I've got accustomed to seeing you in the baths..."
Haruki chortled, and leaned closer towards Rias. His lips placed themselves near Rias' ear. His hot breath tickled her ear and neck as he breathed slowly on purpose to allow Rias to feel it in small timed intervals.
Her mouth parted as his hand laid on top of her own, a small amount of happiness leaked out within her breaths. It couldn't be called a moan, but the sound definitely was filled with happiness.
"I wonder what Onee-sama would say when she sees us in such a compromising position?"
Rias' bottom lip quivered, as did her upper body. Because of the quivering, Haruki could see her large assets beginning to move within the water. The slightest of jiggle made Rias look deeply into his purple eyes.
"Well...she is my Queen, and you are her Otouto, so it wouldn't matter...besides, I find certain enjoyment by spending time together with you."
Rias admitted as Haruki allowed his body to come very close to her own. Her eyes dared to go down, and she blushed when she looked under the water, before her eyes snapped back to his face, seeing that he was smiling towards her.
"That's good, because I like spending time with you too Rias-chan~"
Rias smiled at his admission, and made a more bold move, allowing her arms to slink around his own. Her large breasts squeezed his arm between them, her towel sliding down as she did so to expose her breasts fully.
Due to having spent a lot of time together over the past few years, Rias was rather comfortable with doing this. Seeing the heroic things he had done, she found herself rather attracted towards him, though she always was curious about many things when it came to Haruki.
Her hand slid into his own which laid on top of hers, allowing their fingers to connect together. Her body leaned towards his own, relaxing her body on his chest. Her hand took his own and placed it on her right breast, Haruki being surprised by the bold movement.
She didn't say anything, perhaps due to some embarrassment that she felt.
But Haruki couldn't contain the smile that he had, and quietly rested his chin on her shoulder. Rias' hazy eyes met with Haruki's own. Seeing the comforting, and adoring expression that he had, made her feel more relaxed.
"You know Haruki..."
As she began, the area suddenly became colder.
Rias' eyes shifted to the door, and saw Akeno stood there in nothing at all. She showed off everything, and her eyes met with Rias' own.
"Fufu, so Rias. You're attempting to steal Haruki under my nose?"
Rias puffed out her cheeks, and pulled forward.
"I can have a bath with Haruki, Akeno."
"Perhaps, but I also saw him touching your breast."
Rias' cheeks gave into the redness she tried to suppress.
"I-I've read that allowing a man to hold your breast is a sign of close affection, that's all. I don't have to justify it."
"Perhaps not, but I'm going to be with my cute Otouto first of all."
"Perhaps, perhaps not. Who knows."
Akeno gave challenging eyes, as did Rias.
Sparks flew off between their eyes, while Haruki looked between them.
As he went to speak, Akeno walked closer, and held onto her brothers arm with her breasts pushing against his body. Rias looked back, feeling rather curious about how Akeno was so forward, while she was looking on.
"Fufufu, did you miss me Haruki?"
"I always do Onee-sama. But, seeing your jealous side is definitely adorable Onee-sama~ If you keep going, I'll have to punish you for being naughty~"
Akeno blushed lightly when she remembered saying that.
"...If it is you, then I wouldn't mind the punishment~"
As she said it, Haruki noticed Rias was stood there, just watching.
So he offered a hand towards her, which she took and sat down beside him.
"Lets enjoy a bath between us okay?"
"Fufu, two women in the bath Haruki~"
Akeno couldn't contain her excitement and ended up giving his lips a small kiss. Rias looked on, and pushed a finger to her own lips, then towards Haruki's own, the idea of her and him kissing had crossed her mind several times, but she hadn't had the chance to do it just yet…
Though she definitely felt like she could do it with Haruki, feeling their relationship was close enough for them to engage in activities like that.
However, for the time being, she just enjoyed a peaceful bath together with Haruki, and Akeno.
After what happened the previous day, Isane rushed towards her class. She didn't even have time for breakfast when she rushed out of the door. She shot down the streets like a bullet, her determined eyes were focused on the school.
Her mind cast back to the day before when Haruki implied that he'd go out with her, so she wanted to do it that day, she wouldn't waste this opportunity.
Shooting into the school, she bypassed a number of students and teachers, the teachers telling her to "Slow down!" but Isane didn't listen, her mind was too focused upon Haruki.
Getting to the classroom, she burst in...and saw that he was sat there, casually looking out of the window.
She smiled, and walked over towards him.
Acting as casual as she could do, she felt her heart beat increase.
She was surprised that she felt shy all of a sudden, but she was happy also.
She made her way towards him, but her friend called Kiryuu Aika noticed and she rushed over.
Before Isane could speak, Kiryuu grabbed her, and dragged her backwards.
Haruki glanced, giving bemused eyes between the two of them.
"What are you doing Hyoudou?!"
Kiryuu yelled, so Isane pushed her off, and gave her a confident thumbs up.
"It's alright, Haruki-kun and I spoke yesterday!"
"You lie!"
"No! After you lied, I happened to meet him outside the school building, and he said that he likes people like me!"
Kiryuu scoffed.
"I can't believe you. The Prince, wanting to go out with a perv?"
"Says the perv herself!"
The young woman shrugged her shoulders.
"Even if I am or aren't, it doesn't matter. I can't believe it! The Prince and the perv! It ain't a fairy tale you know?"
Isane began laughing in a small chuckling way.
"Kukuku, I'll show you right now."
"And when you come back with egg on your face, don't come crying to me."
Isane scoffed, and walked closer to Haruki.
Standing before him, he gave her a bemused smile.
"So, what was the little comedy routine about?"
He was fully capable of hearing everything they said, but he thought it would be curious to hear it from her perspective, if she'd comment on it at all.
"Kiryuu, she was saying we didn't talk yesterday."
As she said it, the females of the class all bent their necks towards the young woman.
Haruki looked around, seeing different girls glaring at Isane, some were looking on with shock, while some just seemed to be confused.
Haruki cocked an eyebrow up.
"Yes, that's right, we did talk yesterday."
[Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh!? T-They talked?! About what?!]
Haruki always found it amusing when the girls in the class somehow managed to stay in sync with one another. It was difficult to imagine how that was pulled off, but he didn't seem to really mind much in the end.
"S-So, w-would you..."
"Would I, what?"
Haruki's question brought a shyer expression to the young perverted girls face.
"...W-Well...maybe we could...g-go out sometime! Y-Yeah...you and me...we could go out...it would be great...don't you...think so?"
The girls of the class leaned forward expecting the answer to be a flat out "NO!" while Kiryuu wondered if Isane had just done this to try and prove a point but the point wasn't going to be proved and she was going to end up feeling saddened by it.
However, Haruki shocked them all when he spoke up.
"Yes, lets go out. Is Sunday by the train station at ten in the morning okay for you?"
The classes faces dropped.
Their eyes bulged.
Their faces even turned white like ghosts.
Haruki counted in his head down from three, to one, and when he reached one…
[NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!]
The girls yelled, while Isane was stood in disbelief.
But then she grinned, and did a rather cute yet somewhat cheesy thumbs up towards him.
"Great! See you at ten then! On Sunday!"
"See you then Isane-chan, I can't wait~"
Isane excitedly giggled and skipped off towards her friend.
Kiryuu was left reeling as Isane came back over to her.
"Wha...t-that...eeh...but he...eeh...w-what…?"
Kiryuu could barely form words as Isane gave a cheery grin.
"I told you, didn't I~? Now I've got a date with Haruki-kun~"
Kiryuu was baffled at best, by what had just happened.
Haruki gave a light smile towards her, then turned his head back towards the window, mostly ignoring the cries of the girls since it seemed rather drastic to him they'd get this hyper about him and Isane going out together.
Later on in the afternoon, Haruki went towards his club, and found Kuroka sleeping on the couch, Ravel quietly drinking tea, Koneko sat in the corner and was playing video games together with Serafall.
He went towards his desk, Koneko noticing that Ravel quietly sat on his right thigh, something that made her narrow her brows.
"...Ravel-san, is there a reason why you're sat on Haru-senpai's lap?"
Ravel huffed.
"Because I chose to sit here, that's all."
"...Still, it's a bold move to make considering my affection for Haru-senpai and his lap…."
Serafall grinned at the sight.
"Aaah! Haru-chan! It seems that these girls are fighting like cats and birds again~"
"Fufu, it does seem like that~"
Serafall bounced upwards, and her large breasts followed her, moving up and down so much that even Haruki noticed, seeing Serafall doing it on purpose to grab his attention, and to her credit, it worked.
Her eyes met with Haruki's as she appeared before him.
"So, I spoke to Azazel-chan, told him about we feeling the Fallen Angels in the town and he said they were on a mission to watch over Isane Hyoudou."
"Isane-chan...probably due to her Sacred Gear."
Serafall nods.
"Yes, it seems that Azazel-chan discovered her, and didn't want her power to go out of control."
"Does he know what Sacred Gear it is?"
She shrugged.
"If he did, he didn't share it with me. Either way, when speaking to him, I was told that it was just a watch order only. Not to approach by any means. If they do...if they break the rules, then Haru-chan, we're to make sure the Fallen Angels be brought into custody, and delivered back, disable and capture basically."
"Disable them, capture, and bring them before the Grigori, that I can do."
"I agreed to allow them to stay in the town as long as it remained a mission of just watching over this girl. Azazel-chan said that it could be a case where the Sacred Gear she has might be too much for her if she goes berserk with her power due to her being an ordinary human who hasn't trained to control the power she has."
Haruki slowly nods his head.
"I understand, then we should keep away from them and make sure they keep away from approaching Isane-chan."
Serafall nods strongly.
"That's right! Any wrong moves, then stop them. If they don't stop when asked, and they try to do the unthinkable…"
"Then I'll stop them. As long as I've got permission of course."
"Of course~ Azazel-chan is a rather reasonable person after all~" Serafall cracks her neck as she moves closer. "But Haru-chan! Remember, it's time for us to go towards our fans soon! I can't wait Haru-chan! Every month I get so excited!"
"Fufu, I also love meeting the fans. They always bring exciting experiences. I see a lot of regulars, and they're always fun to catch up with~"
Serafall did a peace sign towards Haruki as movement could be seen on the couch Kuroka was.
"Nyaaa…."
Kuroka meowed out.
Her eyes pulled themselves open, and she smiled towards Haruki sleepily.
"Haruki-chan...I had a nice dream...with you and me...and a cute little kitten child that was totally a sadist...kicking ass...and everything..."
Ravel rolled her eyes while Haruki smiled.
"What a lovely dream~"
He said with a slight seductive tone.
Kuroka smirked, and practically ripped her shirt open, exposing her chest.
"No need to dream about it nyaa. I'm ready to make that our reality right now~"
Ravel placed her hands out.
"Hold on there, you aren't doing anything in the school."
"Why nyaa? It would be a perfect place~"
Ravel shook her head while Koneko walked over, and tried to pull Ravel off of Haruki's lap.
"...I am Head Loli. That is my lap."
"I-I can sit here also Koneko-san!"
Haruki chortled, petting the girls heads.
"Fufu, now, now~ No need to fight~ There's plenty of room for you both to sit on my thighs~"
As he said it, Serafall annoyed Koneko by jumping onto his lap also, hugging around his neck.
"As I'm his cutest King, I have the right to sit here too~"
"I'm going to be giving him sadistic kittens so I can sit there too!"
Kuroka said, and ran towards Haruki's lap…
But Koneko held onto Haruki as she pushed Ravel off. But before she could fall down, Haruki caught her with his arm, and held her close. Ravel blushed lightly as Koneko claimed his lap for herself...or she would have if Serafall wasn't there.
Kuroka settled for hugging him from behind, and pressed her lips against the back of his neck while the others simply held onto him.
Haruki couldn't deny that this was a happy time in his life, especially from when he was a child.
On a special day, Haruki, Ravel, Koneko and Serafall all went towards a meet and greet with the fans.
Besides Haruki who Serafall practically forced onto the show, Koneko and Ravel also ended up being featured on the show as special magical girls that came by from time to time, like guest characters, but they had their own fanbase surely enough.
They even had their own costumes. They were reskins of Serafall's pink outfit, with Koneko wearing white, and Ravel wearing a golden colour. Haruki himself had a male version of Serafall's outfit, with blue being the predominant colour.
Even if Haruki wasn't exactly thrilled about the outfit choice, he did it for Serafall, she was happy, so he didn't complain that much, he got used it as the years went by, and it seemed to make people happy, so if he could do that by wearing an outfit of a magical boy...then he went along with it for those people, and Serafall.
"Fufu, looks like everyone's excited to be here~"
Koneko tilted her head.
"...Senpai, you're as excited as ever."
"It's nice meeting fans of the show, and interacting with new and interesting people."
"It's a shame Kuroka-nee-sama couldn't attend."
Koneko noted, Ravel lightly smiled.
"It is, but I'm sure she will come next time. Right now, she's currently at home...monitoring the Fallen Angels for us so we can be here. It's really nice of her...but when I think like that, I feel as if she made a decision to stay there so she could plan something for when we return home."
"That's rather cynical Ravel-chan~"
Serafall sang out, Ravel gave an awkward smile.
"I don't mean to be cynical or anything, it just seems that she usually does those things. Like maybe she's throwing a surprise for Haruki-sama, and we aren't aware yet. She does want to have children with Haruki-sama after all."
"...I have to agree, I care for Onee-sama, but I do think she probably is up to something. She usually is when it concerns things like this..."
Serafall waved her hand forward with an excited expression.
"Yup, maybe she is~"
Ravel raised an eyebrow, truly wondering what Kuroka was doing at that moment.
Back at the house, Kuroka held a bowl of popcorn, and despite what the others thought...she was merely getting ready to watch some of her programs.
Sitting down on the large couch, she placed the popcorn on her lap, wearing nothing but a dress robe.
"Nyaaa, now with everyone away, it's time for me to watch my series~"
Kuroka grinned from ear to ear.
However, as she went to grab the control, she saw that a hand had grabbed it instead.
Looking to the culprit, she saw that it was Rias casually sat down within the living room.
Her eyebrows furrowed at the sight.
"What are you doing nyaaa?"
Her words were twisted with darkness.
She wasn't pleased right now.
"W-Well, I was going to watch a movie..."
"But this is the only time I'll get to watch my dramas!"
Rias blinked rapidly, then handed her the remote.
"Alright, it isn't a big deal."
Kuroka breathed in slowly.
"I overreacted, sorry nyaaa. But this is important to me, been waiting a week to see if the love interests finally get together~ Wanna watch it with me~?"
Rias shrugged.
"Sure, I don't see why not. I always love a good romance story."
"Fufu, it is a good one, they're made for each other nyaaa~"
Rias allowed herself to fall back on the couch, and reached for the popcorn, while Kuroka and her watched several different TV series together, and sharing a curious moment between the two of them.
Back with Haruki and the others, they all faced the fans, with Serafall grinning from ear to ear.
"It's time to pleasure the fans! Haru-chan! Lets do this like we always do~!"
"Heh...lets do this Sera-tan."
Haruki smiled out, as Serafall moved in front of their table.
"Alright everyone~! It's time~ It's me, Magical Girl, Levi-tan here to brighten your day! And I've got with me my very own partner fighting crime, Magical Boy, Haru-chan who's gonna freeze the enemies, and pleasure your heart with his lightning!"
Haruki did a peace sign as Serafall leapt into his arms. Carrying her with one arm, he used his other arm to keep the peace sign for the others to see. Lights from his Fallen Angel powers leaked out, and surrounded the pair, looking almost like fireflies around them.
It looked like a dream vision of them, even Ravel had to admit it was rather beautiful to see.
"With my cute Magical Girl beside me, we vanquish all of the evils from this world, and keeping you lovely people safe~!"
The crowds went wild as Haruki winked towards them.
Though mostly he had female fans, he did have male fans also, and they got enough enjoyment out of the meet and greet also which Haruki was happy about.
While he also wasn't the biggest lover of being so hyper like Serafall, he was able to draw a number of people in by being his usual self, showing his confidence, flirtatious side, and generosity that made the girls go wild.
"Also, don't forget the cute Magical Neko, and Magical Phenex girls either! Welcome to them for today!"
Serafall introduced, so Koneko and Ravel stepped forward.
Shyly, Ravel waved to the crowd, while Koneko stared at it blankly.
"Y-Yes, with Magical Girl Levi-tan, and Magical Boy Haru-chan...I have come to lend my assistance, w-with my fire powers!"
Ravel said as shyly as she probably could do.
The crowds seemed to enjoy it, as they began clapping loudly for her.
Koneko just stared at the crowds, then she let out a small "Nyan." and that was enough for her fans to chant "KONEKO-CHAN!" over and over again.
Ravel gave bemused eyes as Haruki pointed at the crowd.
"Then with the introductions out of the way, please come in an orderly fashion you lovely people~"
[YES HARUKI-SAMA!]
They yelled, as Haruki and the others sat down. Koneko sat down on his right thigh, and Ravel sat down on his left. Ravel knew Koneko wouldn't say anything with many people around, so she took this chance to also jump onto his lap.
Ravel could see that Koneko was giving her a slightly annoyed look from the right hand side.
Then the fans began to come up to their table, and ask for autographs, and other things like pictures. Haruki had a few girls hugging onto him as they smiled at the camera, he did a peace sign to the camera, and let out a "Yay~" in a sweet tone as the picture was taken.
The event went rather well, as it usually did. Greeting the fans, having brief conversations with them, it was all in good fun. Haruki genuinely thought that this was a good thing to do, to speak to those who wanted to interact with them but couldn't under normal circumstances.
It was a time where everyone could get along.
Even Koneko and Ravel had their fans, though with the more forceful ones, Haruki made sure they didn't get too far if the girls weren't comfortable with it.
As they were going through the events with the crowds of fans, Haruki came across someone that he thought he'd see.
Someone that was very loyal to the show, and seemed to really like Haruki quite a bit.
She was a young girl, a few years younger than Haruki, around Koneko's age of fifteen years old. She had blonde hair that curled as it came to her shoulders, and bright blue eyes that gave her a rather cute appearance.
She wore a magicians type dress that had stars scattered across it, with a badge that had Haruki's face on it on her right breast. She also had a big pointy hat, that had a picture of Haruki's face on it. She had a petite body, though she was taller than Koneko, and her breasts also were larger than Koneko's, but smaller than Ravel's own.
Her shy hands went towards Haruki who smiled towards the blonde haired girl. He could see the same autograph book that he had signed a number of times now. If he recalled, this would be the tenth time that he had signed that book, and he knew he had signed more as well.
He always found seeing this girl quite entertaining.
"Fufu, if it isn't the adorable magician Le Fay-chan~ I was worried I wouldn't see you this time~"
"Aaah~" She let out her voice in a cute cross between a moan and a happy sound. "Y-Yes, I came as q-quickly as I could! I never miss these events!"
Haruki could hear the excitement that was within her voice.
"Well, I'm glad you're here. I always love seeing you Le Fay-chan~"
Le Fay acted shyly, pulling at her dress.
"R-Really? I mean...t-that's really great! B-Because I also l-like seeing you here also...a-and that's great..."
Haruki could see her nervousness, so he gently petted her head.
"Don't worry, it's alright. No need to be nervous. Though, I do feel bad since I only ever sign your book. I could do other things, you know? I could do anything you like~ Like take pictures with you, or something else? You're probably one of my most dedicated fans..."
As he spoke, Le Fay's eyes swirled due to Haruki saying 'I could do anything you like' when referring to her, and that was something that made her happy.
"N-No! Even just an autograph is fine! B-But a picture also?! T-That would be good too..."
"Sure, a picture would be..." As he spoke, he saw something coming towards the pair of them, so he shot up, and wrapped Le Fay with his Fallen Angel wings, and allowed them to sparkle with Holy Lightning, blocking off the attack. "Sera-tan!"
"Do it Haru-chan!"
"You got it~"
As he called, magic circles began to appear on the ground.
Le Fay looked at them, and saw that they're magician like symbols.
The symbols revealed some magicians that had some creatures summoned with them. Almost like chimeras, the crowds began to panic, so Haruki summoned his doll of ice, and had her wave her hands forward.
Within moments, the ice doll froze the entire building.
Le Fay looked impressed, seeing that he avoided everyone within the room that wasn't an enemy, and that the creatures along with the magicians had been frozen.
The crowd looked astonished as Haruki spoke up in a calm fashion.
"All civilians please report to Ravel-chan immediately, she will keep you safe."
The public looked on with wide smiles, believing that Haruki and Serafall both had this situation.
"Yes, it seems that there's an attack! Haru-chan, I'll deal with the ones forming outside, you stabilize the situation in here!"
"Right!"
"Be careful my cute Queen! I'm sensing some good powers here!"
Serafall, using her incredible power, shot off outside as Haruki turned to Ravel.
"Ravel-chan, I'm counting on you. I'll lend you my Princess."
"Understood." Ravel took off on her fiery wings with the ice doll following her. "Everyone! Please come towards me, we will have this situation dealt with immediately!"
She called as Haruki turned to Koneko, seeing more coming from new magical circles.
He made a ball of Holy Lightning, and tossed it into the air.
"Time to play kick the orb Koneko-chan~ Give them hell."
"...Yes, leave it to me."
Koneko jumped into the air, tapping into the Rook strength she had, and Haruki using his skill so the holy aura didn't hurt Koneko when she touched it, slammed her foot hard against the orb as her Senjutsu infused within the orb, and blew it downwards.
As she did, the magicians with new creatures emerged, but the orb came crashing down, and unleashed a devastating wave, added to the incredible strength Koneko had and her Senjutsu, caused a good deal of them to be shocked and destroyed by the incredible might of the pair.
Le Fay looked bewildered as Haruki gently smiled at her.
"Time to get to safety, Le Fay-chan."
"A-Ah, Haruki-sama...t-that's..."
"Something wrong?"
Le Fay nodded slowly.
"...Those magicians, they're rogue magicians. I can tell by the clothing they wear, and how they are using some forbidden types of magic. Those spells, and those chimera creatures, that's not normal, it's forbidden to do such things..."
"I see, so we've got some naughty magicians trying to make a name for themselves by attacking the Maou, believing that she'd be caught off guard."
"Yes...I believe so."
Le Fay said with a cute expression.
Haruki gently patted her head, causing her cheeks to flush.
"Thanks for the information Le Fay-chan, I'll definitely do one request for you~ Say, if you want it to be a bit more intimate...you could always summon me for a private meeting~" Haruki said, pulling out a leaflet with his calling magic symbol on it. Le Fay accepted it with her cheeks turning more and more red as Haruki winked towards her. "Don't worry, this shall be dealt with in no time."
Le Fay looked at the leaflet, then she felt her body moving.
Looking up, she saw that she was within Haruki's arms.
"Haruki-sama's arms...they feel so nice and warm..."
She didn't admit that aloud, but she allowed her thoughts to go in that direction.
Within a few seconds, she appeared next to Ravel, then she saw Haruki's fleeting form.
"Wow..."
Le Fay murmured, then glanced at Ravel who was organizing the innocent people around and having the ice doll keep any attackers away from them.
She then turned towards Haruki...
But she couldn't follow him.
He moved so fast that all she saw was a trail of Holy Lightning behind him, and then saw the magicians fall, and the enemy chimeras being obliterated out of existence, showcasing the seriousness behind the attacks, the precision of the attacks, and the power behind the attacks also.
It was all over under a minute.
Haruki finished off most of the threats by himself inside, Koneko managed to take down some on her own also, Ravel and the ice doll protected all of the civilians.
Haruki went towards Ravel with Koneko.
"Everything okay?"
Ravel nodded.
"Yes, we are all okay. But Serafall-sama..."
As Ravel said it, Serafall jumped out from behind Haruki.
"I'm here~ Dealt with those guys outside, seems like everything went well Haru-chan~"
Haruki nodded, walking over to Le Fay who looked bewildered as Haruki placed a hand on her shoulder.
"According to this cute Le Fay-chan, these magicians are Stray Magicians and are using forbidden types of magic's along with these chimera creature things. Though they had an average Middle Class Devil power, it might be worth looking into it."
Haruki spoke his mind, doing his best to fulfil his duties as a Queen of the Maou.
Serafall rubbed her chin with her index finger for a few seconds, then she nodded slowly.
"Hmmmm, good point Haru-chan. I'll bring it up with the other Maou's. We don't know what they wanted, so we should remain cautious. Even if they're Middle Class Devil power, it doesn't mean that they couldn't be a threat if they have huge numbers."
Haruki bowed his neck.
"Understood. Though, it does seem to have caused this event to have an exciting conclusion."
As he said it, clapping could be heard coming from the civilians.
They all turned to see them cheerfully celebrating what had just happened, and how they handled the situation.
Though Le Fay did feel something was...a bit off.
She didn't know what it was, but she knew something wasn't right.
What they were unaware of, was a certain someone had been watching, and held a small smile on their face as they said "Interesting...this will be most useful...thank you for the show, Haruki-kun~" and then disappeared from the area.
On the Saturday, Haruki and Vali had met up, like he had promised, they were fighting one another, each in their Balance Breaker. The training area had been turned into an icy tundra, a blizzard was erupting within the confined space, and spires of ice erupted out of the ground, with Vali's silver aura scattered around.
The pair clashed so violently that the area was being ripped apart from their attacks when the area had been build to handle Ultimate Class level attacks.
Those who watched from the ground, including that of Rias and Akeno, saw the devastating effects on the area, Rias chortled awkwardly.
"Each time I see them fighting, I feel as if I'm going to crumble under the incredible power that they release."
"Fufu, you're not wrong. They are rather strong and durable people. We should keep our distance when they fight one another."
"Speaking of, there's a few things I've been thinking of Akeno."
"Is that so?"
"Yes, I've been thinking about potential peerage members. According to the likes of Kuroka, the girl named Isane Hyoudou has a Sacred Gear. She doesn't know which, but she said it's strong. Whatever it is...I don't know if I'm going to pursue anything though. She doesn't know about the supernatural."
"Yes...that makes sense. It would be your choice Rias, and I'll support you."
"Then, I might approach her. But, I don't know just yet. Either way, it seems that they'll be going on for a while, so we should go and do some duties."
"Ara, alright then. I'll have my cute Otouto later on~"
Rias and Akeno then departed, leaving the pair to continue fighting.
The battle raged on for well over twenty minutes with no clear winner. Blow after blow, they equally matched the other.
In the end, they deactivated their Balance Breakers, landing on the icy field below.
"Fueee, look Vali-chan. We've broke the training field again."
Haruki chortled out.
Seeing it destroyed as it was, he knew he'd have to repair it sooner or later.
"It always happens when we get together. Still, this training wasn't so bad, fighting someone of a similar calibre to myself, it was a good experience. Your ice is as deadly as ever. I can still feel the immense cold from your Balance Breaker."
"And your aura Vali-chan, it's so strong. You and your Dragon-chan have become rather friendly with one another. Even using Half Dimension on my ice, it was thrilling to find different ways to escape your strong attacks Vali-chan. Being compressed like that can be rather difficult to get out of."
"Yes...that ice prison move, wasn't great for me to deal with...I have to admit that it was a rather interesting way to go about it."
Haruki snickered, and pulled closer.
"That's good, I made that with the intent of capturing you up in it Vali-chan."
Vali lightly smirked.
"So, you tried to bind me, is that it?"
"Naturally~ Always trying to shoot me down with your energy and what not~" Haruki stood up, and twitched his neck. "So tell me Vali-chan, anything going on at the Grigori lately? Nothing has happened around here for about a month now. Beyond the odd Stray Devil or Stray Exorcist."
"Nothing so much has happened. Though Azazel has been monitoring Sacred Gear wielders. Some he's even taken in as well. Though they aren't that strong currently, he hasn't found another Longinus to join the Grigori. Not since Slash Dog."
"Aah, Tobio-san huh. Not seen Tobio-san in a while, might have to see how strong Tobio-sans become..."
"Yeah well, it doesn't matter that much. As long as you keep providing me with a challenge."
Haruki chortled, as he stood up.
He stretched his body, his arms going up in the air, as Vali's eyes were drawn towards Haruki's hip area from behind.
For a few moments, she looked at him from that area.
But when he looked down towards her, her eyes diverted themselves, Haruki not one to pass up being able to tease someone, decided to have some fun.
"Ara, what's going on inside of your head Vali-chan? I saw your eyes, I don't mind if you look~"
Vali stared him in the eye, while he looked back at her with a curiously innocent expression.
"I wasn't looking."
Vali denied it.
Haruki chortled.
"Well, if it is you Vali-chan, I don't mind at all~"
Vali raised an eyebrow, then raised her arm, gathering a strong aura.
"Breaks over."
She shot off a large amount of aura, so Haruki charged his Holy Lightning, blasting it forward and created a massive shockwave that caused the entire area to shake. The ground below was blown away with the incredible power that they released, then they backed away.
"Alright then Vali-chan, lets go! Princess, Balance Break!"
"Balance Break it is."
Donning their Balance Breakers, the pair clashed together once more. Allowing ice, cold, and auras to fly all around the area, Holy Lightning and demonic energy that crumbled the area around, they clashed well up to an hour, neither gaining any ground on the other. It seemed they had a rather matching level of power.
Though, neither had used their trump cards, and neither honestly knew who'd win if they did unleash it.
The day for the date came about, and Haruki arrived at the train station ahead of time. Sitting down on a nearby bench, his eyes capturing the different people that walked by. He was dressed casually, wearing a white T-Shirt with a chain design across the chest area, and blue jeans with black shoes on.
He thought that he might have come early, being about twenty minutes early, but he was surprised to see that she arrived just as early. Barely a minute went by before he saw Isane walking along and he...was very surprised.
He saw her dressed rather beautifully.
She didn't seem to be the girly girl type to him, but he saw her in a mix of red and white summer dress. It even had frills at the bottom of the dress, and a pocket on the right breast area. Wearing normal white shoes along with her dress...he was rather breath taken with her.
Isane walked closer upon seeing him, and she scratched the back of her head.
"You actually came~"
Haruki raised a brow.
"Did you think I wouldn't come?"
"Y-Yeah! Of course! I just wasn't expecting you'd be early!"
"Well, this is a date, right? I didn't want to be late."
Isane laughed nervously.
"T-That's good~ So, want to go?"
"Sure~ I've thought about what would be best, and I came across this movie, not sure if you'd be into it or not. It's a horror comedy apparently, I've been meaning to check it out."
"Yeah, sounds good!"
Haruki smiled, and together, they walked off to the cinema.
Haruki noticed that she was rather quiet...which was odd.
She usually was rather loud.
But he brushed it up to nerves, which he understood.
They walked to the cinema, got the tickets, and sat down.
"Do you like horror Isane-chan?"
"Ehehehe, I like horror when it's..."
As she was speaking, she realized how close her and his seats were.
She could practically feel his body heat.
"When it's…?"
"When it's done right! Yeah, totally hate when they're bad horror movies!"
"Me too. Plus, it's always thrilling to see if they're going to make it out of the situation. I mean, if they're likeable characters and all~"
Isane suppressed a laugh, nodding quietly.
"Yeah. I also quite like romantic movies."
She confessed, Haruki cocked his neck.
"Romance movies huh? I thought you'd be into the naughty type of movies~"
"Well yeah, but I also do find romance good~"
Haruki had to admit he liked how she just admitted to basically watching erotic movies without any hesitation. It was a charming thing he thought. He liked people that spoke their minds and didn't try to hide who they were.
"Romantic movies are nice to watch. The girls back at the house, they usually drag me to watch their movies. And while it isn't my favourite genre, I can understand the appeal. Seeing how people from different circumstances can fall in love. Reminds me of...many things."
He couldn't reveal about himself, but it was nice to think about it at least.
Isane smiled pleasantly, and then watched the movie together.
Haruki was rather surprised to see that she was into the movie. He knew that some girls he knew didn't like things like this, so it was refreshing to see Isane enjoying the movie with him.
After the movie, they walked out together, and went into the shopping centre area. Isane still was acting rather nervous, even when Haruki said that it was alright for her to relax, she seemed to be unable to do so.
So he began speaking to her as they walked into a jewelry shop, trying to ease her nerves.
"Tell me about yourself Isane-chan."
"Eh...w-what do you want to know?"
"Anything, tell me something unique about you."
Isane began chortling, scratching her cheek sheepishly.
"I'm not sure there's anything remarkable about me~"
"Isane-chan, everyone has something that makes them unique. Maybe you don't know what that is yet, you'll one day discover it."
Isane blushed at his words.
They sounded so kind, yet filled with wisdom also.
"Hehe...maybe so~ But, tell me about you, alright?"
"Sure, ask away."
Isane pursed her lips.
"Then...where did you grow up? Because it wasn't in Kuoh, right? I would've known about you at least...or heard about your family maybe..."
"I didn't grow up in Kuoh, but I have lived in Japan...most of my life. I moved to a different area when I was younger, but for the most part, Japan has been my home. I lived with my parents, and my Onee-sama."
"Your Onee-sama...Akeno-senpai, right?"
"Yup, she's my cuddly Onee-sama~"
Isane tilted his head in wonder.
"So, why did you come to Kuoh?"
"I followed my Onee-sama here, who followed her friend here. I came to make sure that she would be well protected. Kuoh also is a rather nice town to live in so I've got no complaints, being here is nice, and I get to be with Onee-sama, and the others."
He didn't even have to dance around any truth, since what he said wasn't a lie.
"So...what about your parents? I haven't seen them before!"
Haruki continued to smile.
"Yeah...it's kinda complicated, but you wont be able to see my Kaa-chan or Otou-san."
Feeling as if there was more to it, but it was rather painful, she didn't say anything else about it, and continued on a different line of questioning.
"So...you really accepted me as a date huh..."
Haruki gave her a curious look.
"The fact we're on the date hasn't caught up to you yet?"
"It's just...I still can't believe it...we're really on a date~"
Haruki found her words very intriguing.
He watched as her eyes were drawn towards a hair clip that seemed to be in the shape of a snake. It was white, and had some jewels surrounding it.
He walked over towards it, then looked towards Isane.
"You definitely are a curious girl, aren't you?"
"Ehehe..."
"Do you like it?"
Haruki asked, Isane nodded.
"Yeah, but it's rather expensive..."
Haruki looked over it, before casually picking it up.
Isane began saying "H-Hey..." but he cut her off with a smile.
"I'll get it for you Isane-chan. To celebrate our date."
Isane gasped, then she began blushing.
She watched Haruki buy the expensive hair clip, and brought it to her.
"May I?"
Isane nodded at the request of him putting it in her hair.
Running it through her bangs, parting her hair, the clip rested above her right eyebrow.
"It really suits you Isane-chan~ You look beautiful~"
Isane saw a mirror nearby, seeing herself, and she began smiling to herself.
"Thank you...Haruki-kun."
Haruki waved his hand.
"Don't worry. Come, lets go and have some fun."
He said, offering his hand.
She took his hand, and felt at ease within herself.
Feeling the manly hand that was closed around her own, she felt as if she could be rather happy like this. She could have a good time, and she could be with someone she did rather like, and as she got to know more about him, she liked him even more.
Their day together lasted the entire day. Going around the shopping centre, going through different areas of Kuoh, all the while holding one another's hands. Isane couldn't believe her luck, she was so happy, and she was thrilled to know that rather than this fantastical person that most seemed to believe about Haruki, he was just a genuine guy, that loved normal things like she did, and had fun like she did.
He wasn't someone unapproachable, it was the opposite, and she felt like he was very approachable.
Because of that, she had one of the best days she had ever had, spending it with a boy she really liked, and after the events of the date, she could say happily that she truly did have a good enough understanding on who he was, to say that she had gained even more of a crush on him than she had beforehand.
Finishing off their date within the park, they walked to the fountain. Sitting down on the side of it, the running water filled their hearing, the sunset was bright in the sky, and a colour that caused the pair to feel at ease.
Haruki watched with curiosity as Isane just stared at him. He had to admit that despite her pervy ways, she did have quite the sense of humour, and he did find her rather beautiful.
"Today was...it was really great~!"
Isane cooed out, Haruki smiled.
"Yes, it was. It was nice to get to know you outside of school Isane-chan~"
Isane began laughing slightly.
But then her eyes cast to the fountain within the park.
Her eyes went down and saw a few coins in the water.
"They say that this is a wishing fountain. You throw your coins in, and then you might have your wish fulfilled."
Haruki gave amused eyes.
"Do you believe in things like that? Wishes being granted?"
"Eeh...I don't know~ If it does exist, then my wish came true today~"
Haruki raised an eyebrow.
"Just by going on a date with me?"
"Of course! But I was kinda nervous. You've...always been like this figure in our school. Calm, collected, happy...yet, there was always something about you that...I didn't quite understand. It made me more curious about you..."
Haruki blinked several times at her admission.
"Is that so? What's curious about me?"
"The way you act...it's so natural. You always see others putting on some front to be cool, or to get with someone. But I've always felt when looking at you, you'd act the same if you were with students like us, or with someone of a higher status or something~"
"Hiding who you are, it shouldn't have to be like that. You should be free to express who you are, be what you want to be. As long as no one's getting hurt, I think you should be free to be yourself. For the longest times, I had to hide who I was...everyone always turned me away or didn't want me around...so, I thought that I'd rather be me and not accepted...than pretend to be someone else and be accepted. I wouldn't be happy if I was trying to be anything other than myself. So I made sure that I'd always be who I am, and if people don't like me...then they don't like me, and that's fine. But I do have people that like me, I'm sure it's the same for you, right Isane-chan~?"
Isane was drawn in by his words, and began feeling her heart beat increase.
She...really did like that.
Not hiding, being who he was, never having to put on a front with anyone, he'd be who he was with anyone, regardless of who they were, and if they didn't like it, then it was their problem, she really did relate well with that.
"Yeah...I really like that...and you're right, I like being me...might not win popularity contests, but we get along rather well~ So that's enough for me~"
As she said it, she noticed she had allowed her hand to rest on top of his hand.
He didn't pull away.
She mentally cheered, allowing her fingers to wrap around his hand.
Haruki's eyes went towards her own, and she began smiling softly.
She recalled something that could happen on dates, and then she batted her eyelids.
"...You know, when on a date with someone...s-sometimes, the couple...they..."
Haruki leans closer.
"What do they do Isane-chan?"
Feigning ignorance, he questioned the brown haired beauty who began smiling even more, adding some perversion into her also.
But she remained shy, a side of Isane Haruki was surprised to see.
"W-Well...t-they do a-all sorts...l-like your hands co-could g-go onto m-my..."
Isane gushed when she thought about him touching her body.
Running across her body, across her breasts.
She couldn't help but imagine it now that she had felt how strong and manly his hand was.
"You know, I thought you were going to ask for a kiss or something?"
Haruki mused, a slight teasing touch to his tone.
Isane's eyes flew open.
"W-Wait! I could ask for that?!" Haruki, continuing to give a teasing look, shrugged nonchalantly. "Then lets kiss!"
Haruki chuckled at her sudden resolve.
"Fufu, you are an honest girl, aren't you?"
"Yes! I've thought about kissing you before Haruki-kun!"
"I see, then maybe..."
Haruki leaned closer, as did Isane.
Her heart increased in speed.
She felt her palms sweating.
Her determination was on high.
Staring at his lips, she was entrance.
She wanted to feel them on her own.
When he came close, he chortled, and placed a small kiss on her cheek.
"You never said where you wanted to be kissed~"
Isane didn't even seem to care that she didn't get a kiss on the lips.
She would have preferred that…
But feeling his lips on her cheek was enough to send her into a happiness that couldn't be beaten.
As they talked, Haruki saw a magical circle appear on the floor.
He recognized it as Fallen Angel, while Isane noticed the glowing.
"Eh...what is that?"
She wondered as the figure appeared.
Haruki looked towards Isane, then towards the figure, seeing it was Dohnaseek.
"Making an entrance as flashy as this, you didn't even have any intention of hiding the supernatural..."
Haruki murmured to himself as Dohnaseek summoned a spear of light, dazzling Isane's eyes.
"I wont be deterred by you!"
The Fallen Angel tossed the spear at high speed.
Without batting an eyelid, Haruki allowed his ice doll to freeze it, then they shattered with a small release of his aura, astonishing Isane by his sudden supernatural power.
"Leviathan's Executioner! I shall end you this day!"
Haruki glanced at him, seeing Dohnaseek having an angry face.
He didn't have amusement in his eyes, in fact he was rather annoyed.
"Exposing yourself to an ordinary human, what are you hoping to accomplish by that action?"
Isane blinked as Dohnaseek came closer, summoning more of his light spears.
Her eyes widened, pointing an accusing finger towards Dohnaseek.
"It's you again! That creepy dude that tried to hit on me!"
Haruki's ears perked when she said that.
"He did, did he?"
"Yeah, it was weird! B-But wait...those wings, behind him...w-what are they?!"
Haruki stepped forward, giving a comforting look to Isane.
"Don't worry about it Isane-chan, I'll handle this."
Isane tilted her head, as Dohnaseek scowled.
"You could've just gone out with me! Then we could have avoided this guy!"
Dohnaseek yelled, Isane didn't really understand what that meant.
Why was he so bothered about going out with her?
What did he want?
Those, and more questions ran through her mind.
Though Haruki cut to the chase.
"Why are you asking out this girl?"
Isane was perplexed what he meant by that.
Haruki understood what Dohnaseek was thinking now due to his actions, but he was going to give Dohnaseek a chance to explain himself.
Dohnaseek chortled.
"My private life is my own business. Nothing to do with you."
Haruki sighed when he said that.
"Save it, I've figured out your reasons now." Dohnaseek's brow furrowed. "Exposing yourself like this, could only mean you came to kill either me or her, and based on how you tried to ask her out, I'd say you wish to kill her, right?" Dohnaseek could feel an intense aura coming from the young boy, and that caused him to feel his body shaking from aura alone. "It seems like I'm going to have to stop you. I've got permission to do so, and even if I didn't, I'd still do it."
"Y-You lie!"
Haruki raised an eyebrow.
"Since you're here on official order from your leader, yet have breeched it from approaching this girl along with attacking myself which I know your leader told you to avoid, you've broken that agreement, now it's time for me to stop you."
Dohnaseek was bewildered.
But, he wouldn't give up.
He summoned a light sword as he tossed his many spears of light towards Haruki.
To his astonishment, Haruki's finger went out, and unleashed a mass of lightning, breaking through all of the spears, scaring Dohnaseek a good deal.
But, he didn't want to show it, and gritted his teeth.
"Y-You're nothing to me! There's no way an inferior breed as you can beat me! Being half and half, and not being a true part of anything! My power is going to crush yours! Then that girl will die also! I don't have time to deal with her!"
"Then if you try and strike her, your life shall be surrendered to me."
Dohnaseek didn't believe Haruki, and rushed towards Haruki.
Isane panicked when seeing Dohnaseek before Haruki.
But Haruki merely waved his finger forward, and allowed his finger to block each strike that Dohnaseek was giving. His light sword bounced off of the finger Haruki was using, the aura filling his finger alone was able to repel Dohnaseek a number of times.
Seeing that, Dohnaseek became even more frightened.
A single finger...was enough to repel his strongest moves.
"I wont let you get the better of me! I don't care who or what you are! I will show you the power that's inside of me! You wont be able to win against me you bastard!"
Dohnaseek rejected, and pulled back. Allowing his sword to turn into a spear, he launched it close range for Haruki.
Isane cried "Watch out!" but Haruki merely smiled, unleashing a quiet but strong aura from his body. The aura came out strong, hit the spear, and broke it down into nothingness, all the while the strong aura blew the Fallen Angel backwards, hitting the ground rather violently as a result.
Feeling pain from Haruki's small release of aura, Dohnaseek pulled himself off the ground while having blood leak from his face.
"I was going easy before! Now it's time to ramp up the power! To maximum!"
Dohnaseek announced, his aura flaring stronger and stronger. The aura became a little stronger in Haruki's eyes. But he didn't feel any need to get serious against him.
Putting his power together, he shot for Haruki as fast as he could.
Haruki exhaled slowly.
"Isane-san, you might want to look away."
"E-Eh? W-Why?"
"I'm about to end this man's whole career."
Isane was blown away that despite Dohnaseek doing what he was doing…
Haruki didn't seem bothered.
In fact, he was speaking as normally as he was beforehand.
Nothing in his voice was panicking, nothing to show that he was worried in the slightest.
As Dohnaseek came close, ice began to appear across his body and his sword of light.
Dohnaseek looked stunned.
He couldn't even blink as the ice froze his body, his eyelids froze so they couldn't move.
It happened within a moment.
He became a frozen statue in the air.
Because Dohnaseek wasn't strong enough to fight the ice even a little bit, he was frozen completely on the outside, he remained alive however. Haruki could have frozen him down to the core, but he remembered what Serafall had said, about capturing them so he didn't kill him this time.
"That ends that."
Haruki walked over, waved his hand at the ice statue.
A magic circle below Dohnaseek came to life, spewing out a bright light.
Isane's eyes adjusted, and saw the statue of Dohnaseek had disappeared.
Isane was blown away by what had happened.
He...had frozen Dohnaseek and then sent him somewhere completely.
"W-What in the..."
Isane was baffled at best.
Haruki turned towards her, scratching the back of his head.
"Well…this is going to be interesting to explain...hmmmm...lets see...yeah Isane-chan...this was a supernatural event." Haruki began, knowing there was nothing he could say which would convince her it was anything but that. "What you saw then was something called a Fallen Angel, what you saw me do was freeze him with...a special power of mine, then teleport him away. I know it's a lot, but I'll explain anything you want me to."
Isane blinked.
Taking in the information that she had…
She wasn't sure what to even think.
Seeing Haruki use ice to take out a guy that had been bugging her.
Dohnaseek had dark wings.
He was called a Fallen Angel.
Haruki had some kind of special power over ice, lightning and teleportation.
"Hehehe...t-that was...ehehehe...Haruki...ice...lightning...guy with sword...froze...he disappeared...ehehehe..."
She chuckled nervously, then her eyes rolled in the back of her head as she fell towards the floor.
"Okay...Isane-chan...I've got you..."
Haruki managed to grab her, looking down at the young girl, seeing her eyes were swirls.
Carrying her bridal style, he looked down at the girl.
Smiling softly, he murmured "Don't worry, I'll take care of you." as he moved away from the area.
Meanwhile, it wasn't going great for a certain Exorcist that had strayed away from the Church. Having been brought from the Fallen Angels, he now had been caught, and was standing before a Devil, something that he detested.
There were other Exorcists behind him.
All seemingly had been captured.
"Eeeeeeeeeeh! What's with the Devil being here?! Lets kill him!"
The young man announced, but the Devil placed his hand out.
"Wait one moment."
The Exorcist scoffed.
"Yeah, right! As if I'm going to do that! Now return me to my Fallen Angel-sama's~"
The Devil stepped forward, revealing himself to be Zephyrdor.
"Your Fallen Angels aren't going to be around for much longer, Freed."
The newly named Freed narrowed his brows.
"What are you talking about?"
"The Devil known as Haruki is going to take them down. He already has taken down Dohnaseek."
Freed gritted his teeth, showcasing an angry look…
But then he gave an uncaring attitude.
"Aah well~ What can you do~?"
Using a frivolous tone, he seemed to really not care about what was happening.
Zephyrdor raised an eyebrow.
"If that's the case then how about you come and work for me?"
Zephyrdor offered, but Freed scrunched his face together.
"And why would I, an Exorcist-sama, work for a scummy Devil such as yourself?"
Zephyrdor showed annoyance on his face.
But, he kept his thoughts back, and held a calm attitude on his face.
"Because we have similar goals. You want to kill people, Devils and those related to them, there's a Devil that I wish to get rid of."
"And that would be?"
Freed asked, though he seemed disinterested.
"Haruki Himejima, wouldn't that also make you feel satisfied? Killing the Devil that was formally a Fallen Angel and human that also wields a Longinus? I think that would be good for the pair of us to finally get rid of him."
Freed stroked his chin in wonder.
"If I did manage to help you...I've heard how crazy strong that guy is, do you think that you could take him?"
Zephyrdor smirked.
"Damn straight I can. All I need is some assistance, that's all. Get me alone with that guy, and he'll be killed, no contest."
Freed wasn't convinced in the slightest.
While he was a madman and believed in killing Devils, even he had his doubts on what was going to happen if they did confront Haruki directly. He had heard of the power he had, and had heard that he had destroyed a number of people before that could be called strong.
"Say that I believe you, what's in it for me? I'm not risking myself for some weird ass vendetta that you have."
Freed said with a sly grin on his face.
Zephyrdor breathed slowly, wanting to control the anger that was deep inside of him.
"We both get a lot out of this. You can even obtain a great status for killing him. I don't care if I don't get the glory, all I want is that bastard gone. Ever since I met him, I hated him. As long as he's around, he'll always stand in my way, so I'll have to end the bastard now. And allowing a Fallen Angel to become a Devil, I don't know what Serafall was thinking. That's why, he has to disappear."
Freed could see it now.
Zephyrdor was showing clear signs of superiority complex, and some inferiority complex to him as well, something that intrigued Freed since Zephyrdor had both.
But he was determined and also a little desperate.
Even sharing this much told Freed that he was desperate.
Freed was intrigued to see where this was going to go, so he thought that it wouldn't be so bad if he did follow him.
At least, until it didn't satisfy him anymore.
"Maybe it could be interesting. Tell me more, and maybe we could team up~ Heh, a Devil and an Exorcist teaming up, what are the odds of that happening huh?"
Zephyrdor didn't like Freed's flippant attitude.
But, he also did need Freed until he was ready to make a move.
Freed could assist him, and then once he was done, he'd be able to finally do what he would want with Haruki, and make him regret ever becoming a Devil, and cause him to die.
End chapter!
So a few things happened this chapter. Le Fay got introduced, and is seemingly a big fan of Haruki. They got attacked by a mysterious group, something that will play into the story later down the line. Rias and Haruki spent sometime together, as did Vali and Haruki who trained for a good while. Isane and Haruki went out together, and Dohnaseek tried to make a move, but was stopped within a few seconds. Now that Isane knows about the supernatural, she'll begin understanding more about that, and her power, and we'll see her journey into becoming a Devil. Freed also got taken by Zephyrdor, why he'd want Freed of all people shall be explained in the coming chapters.
