Chapter 14: PAW Patrol vs The TITAN Part 2

Hello everyone sorry this chapter took so long to make. I had a serious case of writer's block and I needed to overcome it. I plan on finishing this book by this month so I can focus on my other stories. There is 1 more Chapter after this one and the book will be completed. Hope you enjoy it.

Blake POV

One word to describe today's events: Madness. Buildings were burned down, Cars and trucks destroyed, and common places in Adventure Bay vandalized. Chase and Molly evacuated everyone to Jake's Mountain to avoid conflict with the people and Frex's army. Meanwhile, I and Kaz were trying our best to fight off Frex's army on the ground. It was going to be tough I'll admit, but to save our city… I don't mind one bit.

"Geez, there sure are a lot of soldiers", said Kaz using his heat vision. I jumped on one of the soldiers biting him on his arm and then clawing his face in. "Yeah, but we have to take them out if we wanna protect the city", I said looking at Kaz.

While I was talking to Kaz, I saw a Frex soldier getting back up aiming his gun at Kaz ready to pull the trigger. My eyes widened as the soldier was about to take his shot. "KAZ, WATCH OUT!", I yelled. With a blink of an eye, I saw a purple streak of speed knock the soldier down. "Huh, what was that? Questioned Kaz. Molly then super speeded to us. "Thanks for saving my tail", said Kaz. "No problem, take it as a reward for protecting me earlier", said Molly smirking at Kaz.

I then walked to the 2 and began talking. "Ok, we need to find a way to get on Frex's ship and stop Frex''. "Ryder's orders were to stop the soldiers on the ground and the last time you went up against Frex you almost died", said Kaz looking at me. He was right. Last time, I BARELY could stand when I was fighting Frex. I was alone. Defenseless. Weak. Powerless. All I could do at that time was to beg for my life...but never again and not today.

"You're right….", I said looking down. Kaz and Molly stared at me in confusion. "I didn't know what to do at that time, I was powerless and weak...but now, I have you 2 by my side to fight him with me". Kaz and Molly looked at me. "We're stronger, faster, and smarter together. We have the advantage to stop him, what do you say…", I said holding my paw out. Both stare at my paw. Molly then put her paw on top of mine. I give her a warm smile and then we both look at Kaz. "UUHHHH...FINE, I GUESS I'LL DO IT ALSO...", he said as he put his paw on top of Molly's. "Welcome to the club", said Molly.

Suddenly, a new group of Frex soldiers came unexpectedly and surrounded us aiming their guns. We look back and ready our fighting stances. "Ready for this guys?", said I as I looked back at Kaz and Molly. "Born ready", said Molly. "Always ready..", said Kaz.

I'm glad to have his team of friends stand by my side. Earlier today, I was weak. Now... We lead to victory. Victory to stop Frex with my team and the PAW Patrol.

General Sakol POV

*GENERAL SAKOL'S THOUGHTS*

As much as I want Frex to take over the universe, using the machine when it's not fully operational is a terrible idea, especially when it can put our soldiers and other minions in danger.

I walked to the room where the machine and the scientist and machine workers were and one of them walks up to me.

"Sir, the machine is almost complete… from the looks of things, it looks like the machine can be done in the next hour or so.", said the scientist flipping through his clipboard papers. I shake my head in a "no" response. "No. Lord Frex wants to use the machine now. No questions asked," I said while pointing my finger at the scientist. "B-but sir, if we use the machine now it can lead to complications, and we don-". I grabbed the scientist by the throat and lifted him in the air dropping his clipboard.

"I don't give a damn if this machine is still in nuts and bolts. If Lord Frex wants the machine active dammit then it will be active. GOT THAT!", I said while still holding the scientist's by the throat with my paw. I then dropped the scientist on the ground and I saw him quickly catch his breath.

"Now, I want EVERYONE in this room to have that machine active NOW!, I need pilots and engineers on their stations", I said yelling at everyone. I then walk back to Lord Frex to tell him the news. "Lord Frex, I have told the workers to have the machine operative as we speak."

"Good...soon this pathetic little town will be no more. I have the universal powers in my palms and nothing can stop me. Not even this team we are fighting. This universe will soon be mine.", said Frex.

Battleground

The PAW Patrol stood their ground against Frex's army. Everyone was fighting soldiers whether it was by themselves or with a group, either way, they were fighting. Ryder was flying with his jetpacks fighting soldiers in the sky. For his age, he was a pretty good fighter. He managed to take them all out in the skies or so he thought.

Ryder POV

I fly around the sky taking out Frex's soldiers to the best of my ability. They were shooting their guns at me and I tried my best to avoid them. I ducked, dived, and rolled my way out of their range of fire. This was the first biggest mission the PAW Patrol had to face. This was WAY different than saving Chickaletta from a tree, or rounding up Farmer Yumi's sheep when the fence broke, this mission would make or break the universe. I continue taking down as many of Frex's soldiers the best way I can. I can't even imagine what the pups thoughts on this mission. They are risking their lives to save the universe, not even just the universe: Adventure Bay itself. I tap the screen on my arm revealing a weapon control panel and switch it to "Kill Mode". I turn around to face the soldiers and fire away. An explosion occurred after I fired my weapons at them. "Whew", I said as I wiped my head while sweat was dripping down.

I land on a nearby building looking down at the chaos. I then hear a loud BOOM in the distance right around Jake's mountain. It looks like something exploded or that's what I thought, all I could see was smoke coming from there. I quickly flew over there to see what caused or was left of the explosion. All I could see was dark gray smoke and small fires in the forest. I put on my gas mask on my suit and carefully entered my way into the forest. As I continued into the forest, the smoke began to become thick. I used a feature on my suit to clear out as much smoke as I can. After I cleared it out, all I could see were small fires, burned down logs, and scorched trees. "Damnit", I said clutching my fist.

I look up in the sky to see where the blast came from to see if anything here connects what happened to the forest. I suddenly see a yellow light in the sky and I squint my eyes to see the light better. My instincts kicked in and I rolled out on the snow right before a yellow beam almost hit me. I hurried and caught my breath until I heard something in the forest.

"HURRY AND SEARCH FOR HIM!"

It sounded like some guards trying to come and find me. In the situation, I am in right now, I would try to fight them off, but we needed to regroup and come up with a plan...Then, an idea kicked in. I quickly run behind a tree, trying to make sure I don't get caught by the soldiers. I take out my pup-pad and call Chase.

END OF RYDER POV

As the day went on, the PAW Patrol grew tired of fighting Frex's soldiers. More and more kept coming as energy wasted away fighting them, but if it meant saving the universe then they will keep on fighting.

Mighty Chase, Skye, and Zuma were all fighting near City Hall. Mighty Everest, Rubble, Marshall, and Rocky were fighting near Captain Turbot's dock, and Blake, Kaz, and Molly were fighting near Mr. Porter's shop. They all worked together profoundly and kept watch of each other. One thing about the PAW Patrol is that they don't care about how dangerous, big, or deadly the situation was, they will always find a way to come out victorious.

As everyone was fighting, their pup-tags lit up, indicating that Ryder had pinged them.

"Chase, COME IN CHASE!", said Ryder through Chase's Pup-tag.

Chase's head turned to his pup-tag to answer the call. "Ryder, Molly and I, have cleared out everyone already, the rest of the team is still fighting soldiers, but where are you?".

"I'm tied up at the moment, but don't worry, I have a plan. Tell everyone to meet at the abandoned warehouse down by Mr. Porter's shop, I'll fill you all in with details."

Skye stepped in to say something to Ryder. "But Ryder, how will we go there without getting caught by the guards?". Might Zuma then stepped into the conversation. "I can use my watew powers to safely carry evewyone underwater to the abandoned warehouse, without getting caught".

"That sounds like a great plan Zuma, it might work. Ok, Chase, I'm trusting you to tell everyone about the plan and how it's going to work, ok?"

"YOU GOT IT RYDER, SIR!", yelled Chase with enthusiasm.

"I'll meet you all there, stay safe, and stick together. Ryder, out."

Mighty Chase ended the call and turned to face Mighty Skye and Zuma. "Ok, Skye and Zuma, you both heard the plan. Zuma, I need to be by the water so when we get there, you will already be ready". Zuma nodded his head in agreement with Chase's comment. "You got it dude!", said Zuma as he headed out. "ZUMA!", yelled Skye. Zuma stopped to look at Skye.

"Be safe out there…", said Skye. Zuma gave her a reassuring smile and then headed to the water. Zuma and Skye were best friends. Always have, Always will. She wouldn't anything happen to her friends. "Ok, Skye, we need to contact the others. After that, you and I will head down to the water also with Zuma". Chase soon called the others and informed them about the plan and how it was going to work. Everyone heard the plan and made their way over there.

"Ok, Skye, let's go", said Chase walking out. "I need to do this now. I don't know if I will have this chance again. It's now or never.", said Skye's thoughts. Skye then grabbed Chase's tail and stood there for a minute. "Skye, what are you-", said Chase being interrupted by Skye kissing him. Chase's eyes widened. Skye always had feelings for Chase, knowing how strong-minded, caring, helpful, and determined he is always brought joy to her. Skye then broke the kiss between both of them. All Chase could do was just stand there and blush in awe. "Skye, I…", is all Chase could say.

"OH MY GOD, CHASE, I AM SO SORRY… I-I JUST LET MY FEELINGS FOR YOU GET TOO ME", said Skye with tears in her eyes. Chase's head jerked up. "W-Wait, you had feelings for me?", said Chase. "Y-Yes, but after what I did, you may not have any for me…", said Skye having her head down. Chase looked down and walked over and grabbed Skye by the muzzle and lifted her head. Chase started into her beautiful pink eyes. They always shined in the day and at night. Never once would Chase think that Skye liked him. He always thought it was the opposite. They both looked at each other and stared in silence.

"...What if I told you that I liked you also….", said Chase blushing. "Y-Yeah, right. What do you see in me? A small pup who is afraid of eagles and isn't tall compared to others. Also, I'm scared easily…", said Skye on the verge of crying. "So what, I have things that make me scared, but I try to overcome them, and being small isn't so bad, you can easily fit into stuff, move into small spaces, and move quicker. So if anything Skye, you're perfect", said Chase.

All Skye did was stand there, looking at his gorgeous hazel brown eyes. His words touched her and it truly showed that he had feelings for her. Unlike, Rocky, Zuma, Marshall, and Rubble… Chase was someone different. Chase leaned into Skye's muzzle and kissed Skye with passion, and Skye without hesitation kissed back. In the middle of the kissing session, Chase's pup-tag rung.

"SKYE, CHASE, WHERE ARE YOU, EVERYONE IS WAITING ON YOU BOTH!", yelled Rocky through the pup-tag.

Their eyes widened. They COMPLETELY forgot the main mission. "Oh right, sorry, we'll be there in a second. Literally. Chase ended the call and looked at Skye. "Guess we better start heading back", said Skye frowning. "Y-yeah, hold onto me, I can't super-speed us there". Skye held onto Chase and met up with the others. Even though they both confessed their love for each other, they would still have to save the universe if they were willing to keep it.
