Older Danny and Dani arrived at their house with Danny, Dayla, Dani and Dale. The four of them looked around at their place and really liked it.
"Wow. Nice place you two got." Dayla complimented.
"Thanks. Dani and I decided to get our own place together until one of us gets married someday." Older Danny said.
"Anyway, Danny and I should get what we came here for." Older Dani said as she headed towards down the hall.
"Right. You guys can look around downstairs, but don't touch anything." Older Danny said before following Older Dani.
"Righto." Dani said with a mock salute and a smile.
They went downstairs to take a look around. Danny then noticed a metal circular shield that had the colours of red, white and blue and in the middle was a silver star. He picked it up and looked at it with awe.
"Danny! Older Danny told us not to touch anything." Dayla scolded with a frown.
"Sorry sis, but this shield is so amazing." Danny said, still looking at the shield. "I've never seen anything like it."
"Dayla has a point still bro. I mean….that shield could mean something personal for him." Dani said, crossing her arms.
"Can I hold it next?" Dale asked, also awed by the shield.
Dani and Dayla both gave him a frown. He then cleared his throat nervously and said, "I mean…..you should put it back."
But before Danny could do that, Older Danny and Dani had entered wearing USAF flight suits and they now had seen Danny holding the shield in his hands.
"Hey Older Danny. This is a pretty cool shield you got." Danny said.
Older Danny smiled slightly and said, "Thanks. It was a gift from Steve. You know, Captain America."
"He gave you his shield?" Dale asked.
"It was a second Captain America vibranium shield that Steve got for me." Older Danny answered. "He gave his original one to a friend and fellow Avenger of mine. He gave that one to me, since I am his number one fan and I idolised him since I was a kid. He was my mentor."
"You did mention him back at Fenton Works, saying you can never see him again." Dayla said and then asked, "So, where is he now?"
"Like I said, he enjoyed the life he wanted." Older Danny answered.
Older Dani nodded and added, "And it's best we don't say his whereabouts."
"I see." Dani said.
"And I thought I told you not to touch anything." Older Danny said. "Well, we do have his Team Phantom shield back at Fenton Works. Speaking of that, we better head back there."
They all headed back to Alternate Fenton Works in their ghost forms. Once they were there, they changed back into their human forms, for which now everyone noticed that Older Danny and Dani were wearing their flight suits.
"Phantom Squadron?" Older Sam asked.
"Yep. Time to bring the squadron back after seven years." Older Danny answered.
"So, while we wait for the data, what's the plan?" Older Tucker asked.
"Well, those air force pilots won't be to hold off those Harvester forces. So, Dani and I will help them in the air shooting down the Harvester attackers as well as the Keep II. We'll then head to Tyndall and fly the F-22's again." Older Danny began to explain a plan. "While Dani and I take on the Harvester air forces and the Keep II, you all will help the US Army and take on the Harvester troops on the ground. You gotta get to the substation and disconnect the drill from it."
"We can do that. We fought the Harvesters before and we can fight them again." Victoria said.
"These are different Harvesters from before though." Valerie said. "From what Dayla described when she and Andrew fought against them, they're more powerful than Hertha's ones."
"It doesn't matter if they're different. They're still Harvesters and they will lose." Older Sam said, determinedly.
"Besides being blue instead of green, what else makes Camilla's Harvesters any different?" Jacob asked.
"Yeah. We'll beat them again, just like we did seven years ago." Trevor said.
"And six years ago." David added.
"Hertha failed many times to harvest Earth and so will Camilla." Older Valerie said.
"Not to mention, some of Hertha's faction were defeated by my dad." Alternate Jack said.
"You had to remind me. Well what Jack said, Harry beat them too." Manfred said, cringing a little as he remembered how in the past, he was trying to help the Harvesters when Harry Fenton defeat them.
"We can do this guys. Together." Andrew said.
"Any status on data retrieval Tuckers?" Older Dani asked.
"Almost done." Both Tuckers answered at the same time.
At that moment, the monitor beeped indicating that the data recovery was done. Kayla checked on it and said, "Alright. I got my data back. It's time for you all to learn about the Keep II."
She activated a hologram projection of the Keep II. Tabitha looked at the technology in awe and commented, "Wow! You hot holograms? That's pretty cool."
"Same. Maybe I should do something like that at home." Annaya said.
Kayla then began explaining, "Alright. As you all know, the Keep II is Camila's aerial ship. It was a gift to her from my father. Camila has used the Keep II in many harvests on many worlds and the military forces, especially air forced of harvested worlds have failed to shoot it down due to its capabilities."
"Well Danny and I as well as those fighter pilots will face it eventually. So, what do we have to deal with?" Older Dani asked.
"The Keep II can carry up to 80 drones at once. When these drones are launched, they are dropped from their holds at the undersides of the wings. When exiting combat, the Keep II can recover its launched drones by docking them back into the same bays they launched from." Kayla answered.
"What are the drones weapons?" Older Dani asked.
Kayla answered, "They can fired ecto-beams and missiles."
"Are they hard to shoot down?" Older Danny asked.
"Not really, but be warned they are manoeuvrable and have countermeasures. So stay sharp." Kayla answered.
"Alright. What else do we have to deal with?" Older Dani asked.
"The Keep II is also equipped with medium range anti-air missile launchers on the dorsal wing surfaces." Kayla explained while showing it on the hologram. "Its also equipped with pulse ecto-beam turrets on the ventral wing surfaces that can fire blue coloured pulse ecto beams. It also has a nose mounted tactical beam system. It fires purple coloured laser beams that are used for attacking both the surface and air targets. This particular part has haunted me ever since."
"Why?" Tabitha asked.
"Because it's my weapon. I designed it and installed the weapon on the Keep II when I used to serve alongside Camila. I have always felt guilty whenever I see that weapon get fired and used during a harvest." Kayla said looking down in shame.
"Woah! Sorry about that" Sam said sympathetically.
"Maybe that guilt can end when Danny and Dani destroys the weapon." Alternate Maddie said, hoping it would bring some comfort to Kayla.
"Destroying it will be tough though." Kayla said.
"Why is that?" Alternate Jack asked.
"The only way to destroy the laser, is to destroy it in a head on attack." Kayla answered. "Imagine how many times that was attempted before."
"Well, we're confident that Danny or Dani can destroy the weapon." Older Jazz said.
"Yeah. They have overcome odds before." Venus said.
"Just like Danny and Dayla back at home." Andrew added.
"And Dani and Dale." Sonya added.
Kayla smiled at them, "I do admire your confidence in Danny and Dani."
She then turned back to being serious and warned, "Anyway for long range engagements, they can launch a powerful missile called Ceres, which uses an airburst warhead effective against aircraft. They detonate in a blue flash of light and can cause massive amount of damage to all units caught inside the blast radius."
"Can we tell where the blast radius would be on our radars?" Older Dani asked.
"I can help with that." Kayla answered.
"Awesome." Older Danny said.
"Finally, the Keep II's power plant. It has two very large thruster engines, which provides long endurance. In addition, it has 6 smaller sub-thruster engines, which provide additional thrust to keep the carrier aloft. The Keep II does have a limited self-repair capacity as it can restart the destroyed main engines after a short period of time. The engines of course will be your main targets to destroy." Kayla said.
"Alright, that should be easy." Older Danny said with confidence.
Kayla warned though, "Word of caution though, military forces from harvested worlds have failed to destroy the Keep II due it its Active Protection System."
"What does that do?" Annaya asked.
"Team Phantom, have any of you seen the Keep II activate a large blue ecto-shield around it during the initial onslaught?" Kayla asked.
"Yes! We all have." Older Sam answered.
"It destroyed the fighter jets that got caught in the field." Older Valerie said.
"And missiles can't penetrate through it." Venus added.
"That's the Active Protection System." Kayla said and began to explain. "The Keep II is equipped with an ecto-energy powered dome that has a large rectenna to receive ecto-energy from the drill. The dome also doubles as a central component of its main defensive mechanism that you all know now as the Active Protection System. This defence system first projects a large halo of energy before generating a large shield of ecto-energy to destroy incoming projectiles and aircraft that are caught in the field. It can stop attacks from all directions, even from powerful weapons like cruise missiles. However, no-one has succeeded in disabling it."
"Alright. That should be all the information Danny and I need." Older Dani said.
"Brooke, is there any way you can call your father and let him know about Phantom Squadron?" Older Danny asked.
Brooke smiled and answered, "Sure. I can do that."
"Thanks." Older Danny said appreciatively.
"Your Highness, can we send this intel to the military?" Older Dani asked. "They're gonna need it so that those pilots know what they're up against and what they need to do in order to shoot down the Keep II."
"Of course." Kayla answered.
"Tucker?" Older Dani asked.
"I'll get to it." Older Tucker said with a nod.
"Okay, I think it's time we supply alternate Team Phantom with some of our weapons and get then prepared for the battle to come." Older Dani said.
A few hours later, some of the alternate team were providing Team Phantom with some of their weapons. Jacob was currently showing a pair of two arm-mounted ecto-machine guns to both Andrew and Tabitha.
"I sure can't wait to try these out against the Harvesters. Could really use another main weapon besides the Fenton Railgun." Jacob said.
Andrew held the weapon in his hand impressed and asked, "What are they?"
"I call them the Fenton Equaliser." Jacob answered as Andrew handed the gun back to him. He then asked, "Have you ever played Called of Duty: Mobile?"
"Yeah." Andrew answered.
"You know the equaliser guns that are in the game?" Jacob asked.
Andrew nodded and answered, "Why yes."
"These Equalisers are inspired by them and I got another pair so you'll use them Andrew." Jacob said as he handed Andrew a pair of Fenton Equaliser ecto-guns.
"Sweet." Andrew said as he now held the pair of weapons in his hands.
"What can I use?" Tabitha asked.
"Well, you can use a common Fenton blaster. You'll get two just in case." Older Danny answered as he handed Tabitha a pair of Fenton blasters.
"Thanks Older Danny." Tabitha said as she placed the blasters in the holders of her belt.
"Just one more thing Tabitha, you're gonna need some protection since you have much experience fighting ghosts." Older Danny then said.
He then took a look at some of the gear that Tabitha could use to protect herself. He then opened a door at the wall to see some more gear and noticed a shield similar to the one he had gotten from his friend Steve Rogers, AKA Captain America, only this one was black, white and had a green star in the middle.
He pulled it out and held it out for Tabitha and said, "Here. Use Steve's Team Phantom shield."
"Who's Steve?" Tabitha asked.
"A friend of mine." Older Danny answered.
She grabbed the shield and held it on her arm. She smiled and was amazed by the metal.
"Wow! What's this shield made out of?" She asked.
"Vibranium." Older Danny answered.
"Vib….what?" Tabitha asked.
"Vibranium. It's the rarest metal on Earth and completely vibration absorbent." Older Danny clarified.
"Nice." Tabitha said with awe.
"That shield will be good at protecting you." Older Danny said.
"Thanks." Tabitha said.
"Don't worry. I'll stay close to Tabitha as well as Brooke." Jacob said.
"Same." Andrew said.
"Alright." Older Danny said.
Except for Danny, Dayla, Dani, Dale and Annaya, alternate Team Phantom had supplied Team Phantom with their gear that will be used to stop the Harvesters. For the rest of the night, Team Phantom had been trained by the alternate team to use their weapons before getting some sleep, giving Older Danny, Older Dani and Kayla the chance to fly into the Ghost Zone really quickly to pay a visit to the Asgardian draugrs.
In the morning, Team Phantom was woken up by Older Sam and Jacob. They quickly headed down to the living room and saw what was happening on the news. The drill was now activated and the harvest of Earth was beginning.
"Oh my goodness! They've started the harvest!" Dayla said with horror.
"The time is now everyone. You all know the plan?" Older Danny asked and everyone nodded.
"Some pointers to you all, the Asgardian draugrs will be joining us in the battle but it's gonna take a while for them to assemble their army." Older Dani said.
"Brooke?" Older Danny asked.
"Tyndall will be expecting you. Make sure to find my brother." Brooke said.
"I'll be sure to keep an eye out for Damian." Older Dani said.
"Your Highness, Sam, Valerie and Jacob, you four will be in charge." Older Danny said. "Alright let's do this."
Older Sam kissed Older Danny on the lips for good luck and said when they pulled apart, "Good luck up there."
"Thanks Sam." Older Danny said with a smile.
Older Dani and Jacob also shared a kiss with each other. Older Dani then said to her lover, "Be sure to get out alive. Good luck on the ground."
"I won't leave you Dani." Jacob said with a smile.
"It's time that Camila and her Harvester faction gets defeated once and for all." Kayla said and then grabbed her sword and pointed it at the air. Suddenly, parts of the sword's blade protracted into smaller blades before the sword glowed with powerful ecto-energy.
"That's a cool sword." Danny said with awe.
"She was right. It is an energy weapon." Older Dani said.
Before everyone was about to leave, another news report caught Older Danny's and Older Dani's attention.
"We have some breaking news taking place in London, England! New York's own hero Spider-Man, is battling against some unknown creature at the Tower Bridge." The news anchor reported.
"Hey, Peter's in trouble. You think we send some of the team to help?" Older Dani asked.
"We don't have time and we need everybody to fight against the Harvesters. We don't know what that thing is and I have confidence that Peter can beat….that thing." Older Danny said.
"Good luck Peter." Older Dani said.
"We gotta move." Older Danny said.
With that, Older Danny and Older Dani headed for the Quinjet and began to head for Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida while the rest of the huge team headed for Chicago in the Alternate Fenton Jet for Chicago.
