Hey guys, hope you liked the last chapter.

Took forever. Like a day and a half. Just so we're clear, Draco's favorite color, according to J.K Rowling, is red with freckles, due to his fancying of Ginny. I DO NOT OWN HARRY POTTER OR ITS CHARACTERS!

….

"Good to be home." Draco said with a sigh, as we'd arrived a few moments before.

"Tonight, I am going to thank you for this." I whispered to him, and kissed his neck. I opened the door to our backyard, seeing our two beautiful creatures. If we never have kids, I won't care. I have Viridian and Magenta. They're my children.

"Hi guys, looking gorgeous!" I beamed. They'd grown since I'd last seen them. "You've gotten so big! Your father will be so proud. Draco?" I shouted for him, he ran to me.

"Yes love? Sweet Merlin! Oh, our babies have grown." Magenta stood proudly, while Viridian walked to Draco and I, searching for affection.

"Where's Dobby? I want to ask how they behaved while we were away." Draco smiled. "What?" I smiled back.

"I told him we wanted to be alone for the week."

"Oh you sneaky little-"

"Genius?" He offered. I laughed and nodded.

"Yes," I said, wrapping my arms around his neck, "Genius." I kiss his lips, but he pulls away.

"Not here, the children are looking." I giggle and turn my head to see Viridian and Magenta staring at us. Draco sees this too, and we both burst into giggles, which quickly turns to uncontrollable laughter.

Gaining our composure, Draco grabs my hand and leads me inside.

"It's your turn." He looks at me, worried.

"No, we just got home. Just love. Only love." I whisper. All of his worry melts away.

"I love you. Have I ever told you that?"

"Yes. A lot, actually. But, I'll never get tired of it."

"And why's that?" He asked, kissing my neck.

"Because, you are the only one I have ever loved." I said. I felt him smile against my neck. He kissed my lips, hungrily. I wrapped my legs around him, and he carried us up the stairs, to our bedroom door. He put me down, and pulled away.

"Close your eyes." he whispered.

"You know I don't like surprises." Draco chuckled.

"You'll love it, close them." I did so, reluctantly.

"Alohomora" He mumbled at the door. Easing me in, slowly he says "All right. Open."

I saw now why he was worried. It was unreal. Candles, green and red, dotted the room, vases of lotus flowers, on every surface, a platter of apples-green, of coarse-, peppermint candies, and butterbeer sat in the center of two words spelled in mint leaves and lotus petals.

Marry

Me?

"Oh my god." I whispered. "Is this why you've been gone so much lately?" Asked him as tears slipped down my cheeks.

"Yes, also I got a job." He told me, slipping his arms around my waist. "I wanted to buy you a ring with money of my own. Not, any money my mother gave to me, though she did try to when I told her I was going to propose to you. She really loves you. She can't wait for you to be a part of the family."

"Yes."

"Yes?" He asked, excitedly. Spinning me around.

"Yes" I placed my hands on his chest. "But I have one condition."

"Anything you desire, shall be yours."

"I don't want to be a Malfoy." I expected him to pull away, but he smiled.

"You won't be. Mother is finding a way to get us a brand new name."

I looked at him, puzzled. "Us?"

"Yes, we will be Mr. and Mrs. Abbot." Draco said with a smile.

"Abbot?"

"It's Allen, in latin."

I smiled. "Are you sure about this?"

"When have I ever been unsure?" He asked. The same question I'd asked only days before.

"I can't believe this." I whisper.

"What?"

"My first day in london, I thought I'd fallen for someone I'd never seen before in my life."

"That person being?"

"Harry Potter." I say laughing. "And yet, here I am. Hopelessly in love with you. Draco. A boy whose last name would be Malfoy, but he is the same person I've always known. Kind, gentle, loving, beautiful. And I have fallen hopelessly in love with him. With you." Draco stared at me in shock. He was speechless. He was, also, in tears.

"Why are you crying?" I asked, softly.

"Because, I've never been so happy in my life." He said. "I love you so much, and you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I've loved you my whole life. I was just too afraid to tell you. Lotus, you are everything. Even when you feel like nothing. Even when I am so angry at you, that I don't want to be around you. When anyone hurts you, I get so angry. And when you found out Harry was the one who gave me these scars," He put his hand on his torso, "you got so angry, Lotus you slapped him. No one has ever done anything like that for me. I mean you know Lucius. He's-" I cut him off.

"Don't even try to finish that. Nothing you say can add up to how horrible he is. I swear, if I could kill him without going to prison, I would." He smiled, tears still flowing.

"See, no one has ever cared for me enough to even ask about my day. Let alone, want someone who'd hurt me dead." I pushed him onto the very large bed.

"That's not true. You always have. I've always been with you. And I've always loved you. You just didn't know it." I chuckled.

"What?"

"Remember in third year, the Amortentia?" I asked. He smiled, reaching up to wipe away his tears.

"Yeah, you wouldn't tell me what yours smelled like, so I did the same. To be honest, I was scared that it smelled like someone else." He admitted.

I laughed. "Actually, it smelled like you. Just you. All of you. To be more accurate, it smelled like the sheets when I wake up next to you in the morning. The christmas pie and peppermint bark we made last year. It smelled like your favorite food, and I just…" I couldn't finish my sentence.

"You, your cooking, the sheets on your bed, your common room, your wand, your favorite candy, your muggle laundry cleaner." I didn't understand at first, but when the realization kicked in, tears of joy filled my eyes.

"I guess I'm not the only one who's hopeless." I teased. He just laughed. "I think sex will have to wait." Draco frowned and I laughed. "I have to send the owls."

He let out a deep sigh, "Okay, I guess you're right."

"You're gonna need to get used to that." I joked.
