Pokemon Story: A Normal Journey
~Ash takes a research trip to Alola to investigate the Regional Variants. Intrigued by the Island Challenge he sets out to explore a brand-new region while growing up as a trainer and as a person along the way. Fortunately for him, there is no prophecy or duty for him. That's the other kid's job…~

"And here I thought you were a weirdo, Ketchum…"
Ash shots her a glare before regarding the two… individuals "You mean the black thing coming out of the sky?"
"Precisely!" The woman smiles as she makes the Alolan salute, albeit in a more mechanical way "I salute you then, my name is Soliera"
"And I'm Phyco" The man says, twirling his moustache with his fingers "We're from the Ultra Recon Squad, investigating this incident here"
"You're… fast" Ash comments, still put out by their appearance.
"We were tracking this entity for some time by now" Soliera replies easily.
Plumeria meanwhile looked like she wanted to leave, but these guys were weird enough that she might need to report them to Guzma.
And for that she needed answers… "You guys need a little sunbath… what up with yer skin?"
"Oh? It's just a result of the place we live, it's quite dark" Phyco replies nonchalantly "Anyways, what can you tell us about the incident?"
Ash was about to speak but Plumeria picked him by the scruff of his shirt and pulled him away "I have to speak with… Ketchum here"
"What's the deal!?" Ash asks her only to be shushed.
"Quite Ketchum!" Plumeria hisses in his direction "You hear me well, I'm the one in charge here. I need to know what's up with these freaks and you're not gonna spill all the beans ya hear me!?"
"Really now? They seem friendly" Ash looks at them and sees them talking among themselves, practicing the Alolan salute, even if they formed a square instead of a arch…
"Doesn't the blue skin and weird get up raise some question on your head!?" She hisses at him "Shut your trap and let me talk"
Ash had to admit, she had a point. He never met someone like them in his whole life.
And he's seen a lot around the world… There was also…
'Not everyone that approaches you is trusty…' Last year with the Team Flare debacle, he learned it the hard way… 'Was this what she meant…?'
"Okay you guys, we have the info you want, but I want something in exchange" Plumeria starts, approaching the weird duo "You really think we buy that bullshit about living in a dark place? For all we know you guys are aliens, so you better spit up if ya wanna know anything!"
Ash sweat drops at her choice words, but he can't help but agree on that…
Phyco stays silent, while Soliera looks at the older man, seeking permission to speak.
The moment of tense silence was broken by the oldest member of the Ultra Recon Squad "I'm afraid you don't understand the situation you're in" The man says, his voice holding a lower tenor "You're in no place to ask questions, we make them"
Ash visibly tenses, taking his time to make a side glance to Plumeria 'Damn… she was right…'
"Thought so" Plumeria smirks as she brings out her Salazzle "So who's it gonna be?"
Soliera, no longer smiling, steps forward and brings out a blue Pokeball that had white lines in a grid along yellow diagonal lines "We didn't want to fight, but you Alolan seem to look for conflict"
"Okay you smurf wannabe, let's do this!"
Soliera nods and brings out her Pokemon… not something Ash ever saw in his life…
The Pokemon Soliera sent seemed to be made of black bricks. Some of them formed what looked like legs and blue lines roamed all over them.
"Assembly, stand forward for battle!"
"Assembly, what kind of Pokemon is that one… Rotom" Ash wonders out loud, not knowing what the hell that thing is.
"Let's see…" Rotom zooms close to Assembly and finds no information "There's no data on that Pokemon!"
"It's not a Pokemon" The old man twirls his moustache "This is an Ultra Beast"
Whatever questions may have, were shadowed by the battle starting.
"Let's test that thing! Salazzle use Flame Burst!"
Salazzle shots a condensed ball of flames that explodes upon contact. Plumeria would have smirked had it not been for Assembly's immutable stand.
"Rock Blast!"
"Dodge it!" Plumeria calls out "Then Nasty Plot!"
Assembly shot bricks out of its body that were quickly replaced. Salazzle dodged them and stopped as she hisses at Assembly, feeling power coursing through her.
"Assembly, use Autotomize!"
"Now Salazzle use Toxic all over it!"
Assembly shines with a silvery glow as it is covered in violet liquid.
"It is no use; Assembly is immune to all poisonous liquids!" Soliera smirks at her, only for Plumeria to smirk back.
"Let me guess, a Steel Type one huh?" Plumeria smirks widely at Soliera's apparent shock "But also I think it's a Rock Type!"
"B-but how!?" All Ultra Beast are unknown to the Alolan, that is their advantage, but that woman pieced together everything about their weapon.
"You saying that Assembly whatever can't be poisoned is a dead giveaway about being a Steel Type, but as a Steel type it should be weak to Salazzle's Flame Burst. It's Rock Blast technique gave it away" Plumeria stood confident against the judging eyes of Soliera and Phyco
Ash meanwhile looked at her with new eyes 'It's all true! She pieced it together before even I could! Who the hell is she!?'
"Now that it's poisoned, Salazzle use Venoshock!"
Salazzle jumps and shots off from its tail a rain of venomous liquid.
"It's not over! Zen-Headbutt!"
Salazzle could have never seen it as Assembly practically materialized in front of her and smacked her with a Psychic Type powered head-butt, sending her tumbling on the ground, feeling the pain "Lazzle!"
"Tch!" Plumeria curses annoyed "Damn thing… Salazzle Flame Burst now!"
"Use Bide!"
Plumeria's eyes widen in shock "No stop it!"
It was too late as Salazzle already sent the flame ball towards Assembly, who tanked it as if nothing happened, if it wasn't for the poison that seemed present on the Ultra Beast's skin.
"Now turn it back!"
Plumeria knew, in the air, Salazzle could not dodge that. So she could only see as her partner would be bathed in the energy behind Bide… She closed her eyes as she could not see it… 'Sorry, Salazzle…'
"Rowlet use Ominous Wind on Salazzle!"
An eerie wind ran towards Salazzle and pushed her away from the blast.
Soliera turns to Ash who issued to command to his Pokemon, Rowlet "Don't meddle in battles, isn't that what trainers do?"
"Yeah, we do" Ash smirks at this "But Plumeria is right, you guys are too suspicious to be left around here"
"I thought trainers were honourable" Phyco looks at Ash, and through the lenses, the trainer could feel stern eyes looking at him "That you would respect a battle"
"Yeah I would… but" Ash looks at Assembly with wary eyes "You guys brought that thing over here… the same kind of creature that tried to break the sky" Here Ash looks at Phyco seriously "And that's where I draw the line. Anything that disturbs the peace of Pokemon… I will stop it! Even if it breaks me and my team!"
Rowlet stood by his trainer's words firmly looking at the gigantic beast.
While all of this happened, Plumeria cradled Salazzle's body, watching as Ash gave his words 'That idiot… Why did he help me!?'
"Rowlet, let's do this!" Ash commands his Pokemon "Use Leafage!"
Rowlet releases a barrage of leaves that clash against Assembly.
"Assembly shot it down with Rock Throw!"
"Dodge it!"
Rowlet flew through the sky avoiding the rocks thrown at him.
"Now counter with Ominous Wind!"
"Bide!"
Ominous Wind clashes against Assembly's skin, only to charge the oncoming attack.
"Tch!" Ash looks at Assembly, who shone red as it charged its technique "Don't let up! Use Peck and don't stop!"
Rowlet lands on Assembly and starts pecking over and over, further charging the attack "Roh! Roh! Roh! Roh!"
"Shake him off! We won't be able to hit it if it's on your body!"
Rowlet kept pecking over and over Assembly until he managed to make a small dent on its body.
"Well done Rowlet! Keep going!" Ash cheers as he sees Assembly trying to pry Rowlet off.
Plumeria watched this in surprise 'He's actually doing it! With a Rowlet of all things! What my Salazzle couldn't… what the hell is with this guy!?'
It was all fine until Phyco's grave voice brought their attention "Burst use Mind Blown"
And hell broke loose.
In a matter of seconds, Rowlet was blown away from Assembly by what looked like a firework explosion. That explosion was done by courtesy of Phyco's beast, a humanoid white, pink and blue creature that seemed to be playing with its own head.
Burst was the least of Ash's problems as Rowlet flew off Assembly's head, and that was the opportunity Soliera needed.
"Now unleash your power, Assembly!" Soliera orders and Assembly complies, shooting a white beam at Rowlet, pushing him into a cliff side in the distance.
"Rowlet!" Ash's wide eyes watch as the Owl Pokemon is sent crashing into the side of the hill. He makes to follow the fallen bird but Burst appears in front of Ash.
"You're not getting away from here just like that" Phyco announces as he twirls his moustache "Tell us what we want"
Ash look towards Burst and then towards Assembly who now stood by its companion. Around he could see many Pokemon from the hill cowering in fear of the creatures…
Sighing, he goes to speak but is interrupted by…
"Trix!" Before anyone could see, Assembly's head is assaulted by a powerful cut, right where Rowlet's Peck made a dent.
"What is-!" Soliera screams as Assembly gives out a powerful shriek in pain. Assembly falls to the ground as its cry fell down to a mumble "You're injured!?"
Ash watches as a bird Pokemon lands in front of him, its plumage was mainly white and brown and it had a green leaf that worked as a fringe.
The bird looks at him, confidence in its eyes while Ash realized who he was watching… "Rowlet!?"
"Dar…" The bird nods in acknowledgment, before it turns to face Burst and Phyco "Dartrix!"
Ash nods in understanding "Your name is Dartrix then…" He smiles widely now "You guys better run away, now Dartrix will kick all your asses!"
"You better leave now" Plumeria joins Ash as Salazzle joins the newly evolved form of Rowlet "Come on out!"
Plumeria brings out a Golbat and a Haunter that stand next to its compatriot.
"Ruff!"
Ash looks down to see Rockruff standing next to Dartrix.
"Chop!"
"Bink!"
"Spin Spinda!"
"Ma-wile!"
Now the Pokemon of Ten Carat Hill stood by their side, glaring at the beasts.
Ash smiles confidently "Better get out of here"
Soliera looks like she was about to pull something out of a pocket until Phyco stops her "We're leaving then, Alolan clearly aren't what they say they are…"
"B-but Phyco! We could bring Stinger and they wouldn't be able to do anything!" Soliera protests, clearly displeased at her superior's choice.
"We wouldn't be able to do anything against them"
It was then that Soliera noticed three approaching figures.
Ash looked at them and noticed that among them, Hala stood out clearly. To his side there was a woman whose theme seemed to be that of a golf player. Her very light blue hair contrasted her soft looks with the serious expression on her face.
On the other side of Hala stood a pale man who wore a black jacket, black pants and sandals. His prominent eye bags and grey hair made him look like a grumpy old man.
"What the hell is going on? I was having a nice nap" The grumpy man scratches his neck, a firm scowl set on his face.
"That is not true, Nanu" The woman eyes the man before turning to the Ultra Recon Squad "I believe you two were in the process of running away, so you better do it. I feel like getting an albatross here" She fiddles with a Pokeball to prove her point.
Hala meanwhile merely narrowed his eyes further than normal.
The Ultra Recon Squad caught the message and recalled their beasts "We'll leave… but the inevitable will come to pass. The light will be taken from Alola"
With that they disappeared into thin air.
Ash took a surprised step back and looks around "Where did they go!?"
"They left, simple as that" Hala approaches him "I couldn't hope for a tranquil afternoon of training for you, ne?"
Ash looks down at that one "It's not like I wanted it to happen, really"
"No one looks for trouble, but just by seeing you I know you're trouble" Nanu approaches them "So what were ya doing with that Skull girl?"
"Skull girl?" Ash looks around and finds Plumeria and her Pokemon gone "She left!?"
"Of course, I'm in an intense search for them" Nanu says unenthusiastically "They fear me"
"They fear you, but that is when you get up from your chair" The woman pipes in "And that's not taking in account that your station is next to their hideout"
"I keep them in line" The man scowls at her "Don't be troublesome, Kahili"
"And that's the reason why I insist that Nanu is unfit to be an Elite Four member!" Kahili looks at Hala who seems to be looking at something.
Hala seems pensive until he looks at Ash "Congratulations on Rowlet's evolution"
Kahili sweat drops while Ash smiles "Thanks, though I didn't get the chance to scan him. Rotom, please!"
"On it! Dartrix, The Blade Quill Pokemon – Grass/Flying Type: Supremely sensitive to the presence of others, it can detect opponents standing behind it, flinging its sharp feathers to take them out"
"Wow, so you use your feathers for the Leaf Blade I saw?" Ash smiles at the Pokemon who nods and brushes its leaf aside.
"So who were them?" Kahili asks the Kantonian trainer "That much you must know"
"They were Phyco and Soliera from the Ultra Recon Squad" Ash replies to her "They had creatures I've never seen before. Not even Rotom knew what they were"
"Creatures you call them… and not Pokemon" Hala looks at Ash, a question on his mind "You may be talking about the Ultra Beasts then…"
"That's what they said! You know them!?"
Hala nods, catching the attention of Kahili and Nanu "Of course, there is a legend in Alola about creatures from another world that confronted the Guardian Deities in battle. Some even say that their battle tore the region apart, forming the islands, but those are mere rumours"
Nanu steps up "I think that I heard that term from Acerola once… better ask her to look into it" He turns around and walks away, but stops as an afterthought comes to mind "First, I don't want to be an Elite Four. Period. Second, kid if you're doing the Island Challenge, then better be prepared, cause I don't mess around"
With that the man left, leaving Ash thinking on his words "Why would I be prepared for him…?"
"Because that man is a Kahuna"
"EH!?"

Plumeria watches as Ash spoke with two Kahuna like it was nothing… also there was that Island Champion, Kahili to muddle things up.
There is no way she could escape if it wasn't for that chance distraction of the ultra-dudes.
"Better get away and report this to Guzma…" As she runs away, she can't help but think about Ash and what he did… 'An interesting person… that Ash Ketchum…'

"So what is this about an Elite Four?"
Hala looks at Ash and remembers that "Ah, that. Kukui has been meaning to start a League here in Alola. And for that we need an Elite Four of course!"
"Wow!" Ash looks at Hala, stars in his face "And you need Elite Four members!? I mean, Nanu clearly rejected the position" Here Ash looks at the old man with a conspicuous look "You know… I have a pretty good track record in leagues and battling against strong trainers in the world…"
Hala sweat drops with Kahili looks amused at this.
"Did I tell you that I was finalist in last year's Kalos League...? Also I beat the Kanto Battle Frontier and I think I'm still the Champion of the Orange Islands"
"I'm afraid I'm not looking for members right now" Hala tells the young trainer "I have a replacement in mind, I didn't count Nanu into this, so that's it"
With that Hala and Kahili start walking away, not without a call of "Come by my house when you're finished!"
Seeing as he was alone, Ash sighs and turns to look at where Pikachu rests peacefully "At least someone's getting a break"
"Ruff!"
Ash looks down to Rockruff who bites his pants, as if trying to direct him somewhere.
"Wanna take me somewhere?" Ash asks the Rock Type Pokemon. With a smile he nods and picks up Pikachu "Where do we go?" He lets himself be pushed into the cave and follows Rockruff, Dartrix tailing them.

It was not long after that Ash comes out in a new overture to see he's standing way higher from the bottom than he thought possible.
"Whoa! I can see the whole hollow from here!"
"Trix!"
Ash looks forward and sees an altar that has a blue crystal that had a feather symbol in it.
"The Z-Crystal!" Ash approaches it and picks it up "Is this… a Flying Type crystal?"
"Ruff!"
Ash looks down to Rockruff who barks happily at him "Thanks Rockruff"
Rockruff barks at him before running towards the cave. Ash watches, grateful as Rockruff reunited with what seemed like a bigger and orange version of it…
The creature's green eyes stare silently at Ash before they vanish…
Ash smiles at Dartrix "We've got a new crystal!"
"Trix!"
Ash looks towards the sky, deep in thought "A Pokemon League and an Elite Four… I will definitely win… I will definitely challenge them!" He takes a breath and shouts out "I'll be Alola's first Champion!"
-BREAK-
Hello once again readers! We close the Ten Carat Hill arc with an evolution, a Z-Crystal and Ash's declaration to the universe!
First we see the Ultra Recon Squad actually being antagonistic! And Ash and Plumeria team up to defeat Stakataka (The URS uses codenames as they 'aren't Pokemon'). Salazzle falls in battle and Rowlet saves the day learning Leaf Blade and evolving! Yes, sorry about that, but Rowlet will evolve and it won't be the same as the anime!
Finally Ash meets Nanu and Kahili! They spook the URS and Plumeria, but Ash remains victorious!
Also he gets the Z-Crystal and has a sneak peak of a certain 'Powerful Pokemon' that the urban myths spoke about!
Hope you enjoyed what you saw here, cause I have some announcements!
First the bad, I got a full time job (Which is good for me actually) so my time for writing will become quite sparce. I'll try to update as I can after we reach the end of the second Arc (The last chapter I have written). After that it'll depend on my writing rhythm.
Second, I decided to add a section for voice actors , or seiyus, of characters that didn't appear in the anime. I'll put my options, but I'm interested in seeing your opinions! Each week I'll do a character and we'll see! First we'll start with a fan favourite, Lisia!
-Lisia: Sakurai, Harumi (Yuri, Angel Beats – Mikado, To Love Ru)
I think that the type of voice that can be kind and authoritative fits her well, maybe not the idol-like voice one can expect, but if you agree, tell me in the reviews. If you don't, propose another voice actress (with characters and anime references!
The last announcement is that with the next chapter, Melemele Arc comes to an end! Next chapter will be about what others are doing in Alola while Ash prepares to depart to Akala, will be a running theme with the last chapter of each arc!
On another note, the Mewtwo episode in the travel anime was quite underwhelming, I expected a bit more maybe, dunno. What did you think?

blizzardblaze174: Ultra Recon Squad : o that's interesting...wait kukui was the flying type trial captain in this universe?! well then haha that explains why his house is LITERALLY right next to Ten Carat Hill, where the Flyinium Z is just waiting to be taken by someone since there's no totem pokemon anymore. I wonder if the totem used to be his Braviary... Plumeria put up one heck of a fight, fitting for the second-in command of Team Skull. I get the feeling ash is going to travel with her for a little bit and then split off.
Me: In this case, yes. While Kukui was the Flying Type Gym le… I mean Trial Captain, Guzma was the Bug Type one, to complement their friendship and eventual enmity. Further into the story, it'll be explained! Yeah, Plumeria is a cool looking character that didn't get too much spotlight in neither media. About her travelling with Ash? :)
Erlben Cabuhat: Hala has a Falinks? Nice. It's basically an upgraded version of Exeggcute, good 'Mon 'swell in the Gen 8 competitive scene plus a reference to Galar existing. Kinda liking Ash's romance obliviousness, as Ketchum saying I see the Romance, but I turn it down for my Mon Trainer career". The Ultra Recon Squad makes their debuts, wonder how you gonna handle them in the story. So Kukui was a flying type trial cap'n, kinda makes sense given he has a Braviary. Plumeria fights Ketchum and thinks he's one of the problems in society nowadays (the dude is Arceus' Chosen One ya dumb street shanka) though I think she's just one of those "Humanity is Bad except for me" type of bigots, though I've to admit she did put up a good brawl and making a good refernce to the Corrosion Ability. Ash's Charizard also makes his return, though I think it's gonna be the Kiawe's Ride Charizard situation (y'know Battle Ready and Flight Ready), Speaking of Kiawe, think he's gonna give Ketchum the same trial in the USUM games or something, same goes for Lana and Mallow. (I prefer USUM over SM because it's basically "SM but somewhat better", really wish GF took more time in makin their games yknow.) OK! Short QQT! 1. Is Elio gonna battle Ketchum at some point and are they gonna be rivals? 2. Who are you gonna add as League contestants? 3. Is there gonna be like a Pseudo-Elite 4 and Pseudo-Champ for the 1st League winner and like if they win, they become the first ever Alola Champ and if they lose the Pseudos become the establised E4 and Champ? Fun chap. Keep up the good work mah dude.
Me: Falinks is probably one of my favorites, I couldn't not place him somewhere in this story! Yes, here Ash is not that dense and can see how others interact between each other when infatuated. Regarding himself, that another issue entirely. Hope you liked this Ultra Recon Squad! They're kinda out of this world and don't know how to interact with people in Alola. About Plumeria, don't diss her just yet! While Sun deals with the big ones (Guzma, Lusamine, etc), Ash will deal with her and the more guerrilla-like members of Team Skull. Anyway, Plumeria has an interesting backstory mapped out! So keep tuned! About Charizard, yes it's mainly a cameo… for now. Kiawe and the girls' trials will remain mostly the same, of course with some twists, but the structure will basically be the same. USUM felt like a finished version of SM, so dunno. About GF, yes they need to take more time to make their games and listen to their customers! Can't get that we want a more difficult challenge, something we don't have since DPPt and BWBW2! Onto QQT: 1. Of course they're going to be rivals and they're gonna battle at some point, not too soon actually because Sun has a good headstart on Ash in the Island Challenge. 2. I've got the league mapped out and you'll see many characters that have been introduced by now (the rivals) and many 'guest stars' if you will. I'm only spoiling one person: Kukui, to show that this will be different from the anime. 3. Yes, there will be and no spoilers there!
Kagayaki-sama: Another new chapter. I wasn't expecting Falinks will make a debut in this story and is owned by Hala. Ash also obtains a Ride Pager, which is come in handy. And now, Ash is off to obtain a Z-Crystal in Ten Carat Hill. Now Plumeria confronts Ash. I don't know what's her problem with Ash, but that would later be revealed in the next chapters. And it seems the 'Blinding One' is now making a debut. Necrozma is my favorite Legendary Pokémon. My codename derives from its Japanese version, meaning 'The Radiant One'. Ultra Recon Squad is now also making an appearance. I wonder if its Phyco and Soliera, or Dulse and Zossie. This chapter is a cliffhanger. I want to know more what's next. Keep up the good work. P.S. Will Ash catch a new Ultra Beast in this story?
Me: Yeah, the Ride Pager is cool, some cameo Pokemon are on the way! Obviously can't spoil her story, but It'll be developed further in future chapters! Oh! Kagayaki, that's cool! I didn't realize that, but it makes sense for a Pokemon fan! In the end, it was Phyco and Soliera! Dulse and Zossie will follow Sun (Ya know, Ultra Sun) while Ash gets the other duo! About the Ultra Beast? :)
PokemonMaster898: Do I sense something going on with Ash and Lisia? Meh, that could tell. I'm amazed that you've introduced a Gen 8 Pokémon. I'm also surprised that Ash obtains a Ride Pager. That will be useful in his travels. I hope Ash will catch a Rockruff soon. And now, Ash meets Plumeria. I don't like the way Plumeria had said to Ash about some society problems. Wow, Ultra Recon Squad now makes an appearance. Nice. Just wondering if Ultra Megalopolis will appear in this story, and if Ash will confront Guzma, but that will be in the future chapters. I guess the start of Akala arc is coming, so I'm looking forward for that. Keep up with the cliffhangers and surprises that you had in mind. This will make your story more intense and exciting. Wooo!
Me: Must be your imagination o_o Yeah a little Gen VIII won't hurt anyone, Pokemon are like animals, they can pop up anywhere regardless of their origins, I think. About Rockruff, sorry but no. Ash won't catch it (And he didn't in this chapter), I told everyone that I will change the team completely besides Rowlet (Who even evolved here), so yeah that. Well Ash will meet Guzma but it's still a long way off I think. Akala is indeed coming soon (Chapter 13), so wait for it and hope you like it!
CRAZY STORM: Haha, forget to mention, I'm a man, dude. I'm acting cool like Date Masamune in Sengoku Basara series (if you know that game, thats good, if you don't, search it). But I gotta keep myself busy onto important matters first. Another new chapter from you. I didn't expect Prof. Kukui is once a Trial Captain of Ten Carat Hill. I wonder what Z-Crystal is hidden within it. Tapu Koko manages to stop Necrozma from entering the Alola Region, then Ultra Recon Squad appears. It's too bad Ash lost to Plumeria, but I think he will have a rematch with her. I just hope Rockruff will join Ash's team soon. And... Will there be a romance between Ash and Lisia? I have some questions, if you don't mind. 1. Are you aware of a few Ash X Bea fics popping out recently? 2. After you completed this story, are you gonna make another Ash's journey fic, but this time, he travels to Galar? Or a sequel of this story? 3. If you're gonna make a story of Ash's Galar journey, are you gonna pair him with Bea? Sorry if I asked that, although this story is not completed yet. I recently became a fan of Ash X Bea shipping after I read a fic that is authored by 'TheCartoonFanatic01'. Again, just asking. Wooo, that was the longest review I've ever typed. Also, the Akala arc is about to start in the next chapters. I'm looking forward for your next chapter. This chapter is amazing, as always. Gotta get back to bussiness. To me in the games it seems like young trainers have a period of being Trial Captains before doing their own thing, so of course young trainers like Kukui in the past were trial captains! Yeah, Ash lost to her, but he had to lose sometime! He had a winning streak for some chapters by now! It couldn't stand! About Rockruff, I did say that only Rowlet would remain from Ash's anime team, and even he evolved in this chapter, so yeah. I think Ash and Lisia will have (for starters) a much more mature friendship than what he had with other travelling companions (like childish battling with Iris or innocent friendship with Dawn and Serena) and it will help to develop Ash as a character. Onto the questions! 1. I think I read the same stories as you basically, 'Training Harder' and 'Kubfu and the Strikes of Rapids' by TheCartoonFanatic01. There aren't many fics on that couple, maybe you could write one? 2. I don't think I'll expand into Sword and Shield, mainly because I didn't get to play the game as I don't have a switch :( 3. In an hypothetical sequel, I'll keep the pairing I have for him in this one (Won't make it a harem). Let's make this interactive, I'll ask two questions for you. First, why CRAZY STORM?
