Chapter 9:Departure Of A Love
"Hikari-Chan,I….."Itachi-Kun leaned on me for comfort in my bedroom.
"Itachi-Kun~Why don't we play for a bit?Just to raise your spirit."I said naughtily while taking off my kimono off my left shoulder temptingly.
"That's not it,Hikari-Chan."He said,helping me wearing back my kimono.
A year had passed since my promotion and I'm 14 as well as Itachi.I've grown...C-cup they say,so heavy.I have to warp it with my bandages.I still tie my hair and my kimono is a bit more fitting than -Kun started to grow taller than me,me 168 while him 170.
"Then what is?"I purred under his neck.
"There's this mission that requires mass murdering."He said.
"If you're not happy than don't do that."I said.
"But..."I placed my finger on his lips to shut him up.
"Nu-Uh!No 'but's can't let a mission control your emotions,only you can do that."
"Think about it!What if your-"
"Itachi-Kun!You're being unreasonable!Relax!"I said,moving to his side and folded my legs in Japanese sitting style.
"Here!Just sleep."I said as he 'Willingly' slept on my lap.
'I can't believe I can see it from this thighs has gotten a bit thick.'I thought,marveled by the growth of a female body.
Itachi-Kun slept there for about a few hours and I have yet to move.I just sat there to enjoy his murmurs of my name and the temperature of his body.
"What could I do with you?"I chuckled,caressing my hand over his forehead.
"I wouldn't want you to leave me...I don't want a pain larger than what Tenma's death brought."I said,a single drop of tear trickled down my cheek and landed on Itachi-Kun's head.
"Yet,I won't be able to avoid it...The tension of the Uchiha clan and the village can be felt as the day passes."My vision is blurring as I sobbed quietly.
"Hikari-Nee-Sama!"Neji shouted as he broke through the sobbing was quickly broken as I stare at Neji.
"Oh!Ummm,Sorry to interrupt your 'session', this is urgent,please dress properly to attend to the council room immediately."Neji said,slowly moving out of the room.
"Hey,Itachi-Kun,Wake up~"I said in a sing sang tone.
"Hmmm?Oh~"Itachi-Kun said drowsily.
"I have a clan meeting to attend to,you should ,no matter what you do,I still love you."I assured him.
"I will always love you too,my light."He said,kiising me in the forehead before heading out to return home.
I strapped my usually opened kimono with a black obi and do a light makeup to look slightly more formal than I entered the council room,I saw Hinata-Chan and Hanabi-Chan already seated beside Dad.
"Ah,Hikari-Chan,there you were looking for you,please be seated."One of the elders said,motioning me to seat opposite of my father.
"What's the matter that my presence was required?"I asked politely.
"You see,we have seen your growth from being a Genin until now as an elite Jounin,one that could take out a platoon herself."Another elder stated.
"You even have great reputation in thr village,clients flavour your services."
"So,we have decieded to name you the clan head and I will step down in order for you to rule the clan."Dad said.
"What?"
"That great Onee-Chan/Onee-Sama!"Hinata and Hanabi said at the same time.
"The other clans except Aburame clan had requested that you to be clan head."An elder stated.
"Why?"
"Because you show more emotions than your stoic father."Another elder laughed.
"…..My dear daughter,if you will excuse me,I'll leave you to your duties."He said,leaving the room with Hinata-Chan and Hanabi tailing behind.
'I could've swore he just smirked.
"Now,we should adress you as Hikari-Sama now,don't we?"The elders said chorusly.
"An important matter that is only known by the clan heads,the Uchiha clan is going to be eraticated."That felt like a hammer.
"We will not make it harder for you, is the one that's going to do the job."
"But-"
"Your marriage contract is still in effect,but…..Sasuke-Chan will replace Itachi…."The elder said with a heavy heart.
"NO!"I shouted,slamming my palm into the table,effectively break it into half.
"Why does it have to be Itachi-Kun?Itachi this,Itachi that!Why doesn't it have to be me?"
"Hikari-Sama!Calm down,Itachi is ordered as such in order to protect Sasuke-Chan as well as Naruto!"
"Speak!"
"An organization named Akatsuki is out to capture tailed beasts!Naruto is one of them,Itachi is to be an undercover spy for Jiraya-Sama."The head elder explained.
"Now about the marriage contract…..will be voided one sided,meaning We voided it on our behalf but the Uchiha won't,in Sasuke's book,you are his in everyone's book,you are the fiance of Itachi Uchiha,the hero of Konoha and Uchiha Clan's killer."The head elder continued,which somehow calmed me down.
"Say….how much known the truth…"I asked,panting because of my overexertion of chakra.
"Every single shinobi knew,the tension is easily civilians on the other hand…..Sasuke-Chan as well."
"Well…..shit.I need some sake."I said,standing up.
"Hikari-Sama!"I raised my hand to stop them
"Don't stop me….I would rather sleep in a acohol inudced sleep than to wreck havoc in the estate."I said as I left for my room.
The second day is not as well as the last obviously.I was being carried around by a lot of maids as they say I am 'Unstable'.The good thing was the paperworks is not as much as I was boring,until I saw a stack of doccument.
"Request for Hanabi as the heiress…."I stared at the words and so I decided to call in my secretary.
"Ai,Dad's still the acting clan head right?"
"Technically yes,but he is only acting within clan,outside this boundary you are the very representation of Hyuuga Clan."She explained.
"Then can you explain why there is such a morbid request?I thought dad called off the caged bird seal since Hina-Chan's birth."I raised the document to the secretary's eye level.
"That's horrible,who would've do this?"Ai said.
"No doubt an whole clan agreed on this matter."I analyzed.
"From other clans?"
"Highly unlikely,Hina-Chan is too sweet to be attack by the other clans in such a low blow."I shot that idea down.
"That could only lead to the high council,it's either the Hokage or the advisors."I placed my chin onto my hands.
"Hokage won't do that,would've been down right is the best shot at this,because this way he could gain a loyal Hyuuga."I ultimately decided to order that monitoring seals are required to keep our clan grounds safe.
After that I would have a training session with Hina-Chan,Hanabi and had a blast because both Hina-Chan and Neji learned Rotation at the ripe age of 9.
"Impressive…."I hummed,as they showed their Rotation to me.
"Told 'cha we can do it!"Neji said cutely.
"Did we make you proud,Hikari-Nee-Sama?"Hinata asked.
"You both did great."I praised while patting their heads.
"I'm craving some Dango!"Hanabi said suddenly.
"Of course,Hanabi-Chan,we can get dango-"
I had flashes of memories flowing back into the first time we ever ate dango,our first date,our first mission completion celebration….
"Nee-Sama,are you alright?"Hanabi asked,climbing my back.
"I'm perfectly fine!Here,let's go and change,we can eat your favourite dango!"I assured as I pushed them into thier bath rooms while I jogged around estate.
"Hikari-Chan….."Itachi-Kun suddenly appeared behind me,his voice is laced with hesitation.
"I already knew."I said sternly.
"I see,they made you the clan head."
"Yes…"I said.
"I'm here to say goodbye."He said,trying to hug me from my back.
"DON'T touch…me…"I started strongly and ended weakly,slapping his hands away.
"Hikari-Chan…"
"Don't you dare call me that when you are trying to leave me behind because of you stupid ideology!"This time I really did it,I slapped his face.
"Always the one to seek peace!"I slapped again.
"Always the one to bear burden!"And again.
"Always the one to answer calls!"And again.
"Why can't you take our relationship into consideration!?Why can't you….why can't you stay?"I slammed my fists into his chest weakly as I sobbed in his chest.
"I'm sorry…I couldn't keep my promise for us to see the sunset at the beach."He said sincerely.
"Shut up!"I kissed him,we both didn't move an inch once our lips connected.
"Goodbye…."He said as the sun is slowly setting at the horizon,my tears followed the sun,dropping onto the ground I could say anything,I can only kiss the air.
"Itachi-Kun!"I cried and stayed on the hallway for the night,never considering sleeping
The day later is an even more toturing day for me,with the news of the supposedly 'Murderous' Uchiha spread all across the village.I was being pressured to be Sasuke's Love.
"Hyuuga-Sama,I'm sorry you had such a boyfriend."
"Hyuuga-Sama,do not worry,such man is not for you to love,there are plenty more choices out there."
"Hyuuga-Sama,that man's brother is much more promising!"
"Will all of you shut up!?My love,My choice!"I was much angered and is holding back an urge to level the whole village because of their ungrateful ass.
"But Hyuuga-Sama!"There was an explosion of suggestions,bad ones should I remind you,bombared my head.
"If you guys don't shut up,I will promise you the end of this village."I threatened quietly,which eventually shut them up.I left the spot and went to the now quiet Uchiha compund's lake,where me and Itachi-Kun ofter eat dango together to remember him.
"Stupid council!Stupid Fugaku!Because of all their childish argument,my love is noe on the exile."I complained,barely noticing an approaching figure.
"Hikari Hyuuga,elite jounin in Taijutsu and current clan head of the Hyuuga clan brooding in the Uchiha Coumpound."An old voice called out from behind.
"Danzo…."I said in a silent anger.
"Such emotions….they are crippling your abilities as a ninja,you should let them go."He advised,the force he used to support his crane increased.
"Should I remind you,you are a crippling old man yourself?"I extered chakra to strengthen my point.
"I have a way to bring your love back if you would listen."He said in a calm matter.
"Speak!"I ordered.
"Kill the council,kill the Hokage."He said,emotionless and with no hesitation.
"That's treason your committing."I warned.
"Your love is used by them to be a scapegoat."
"And I know full well that my Love is willing to join in this mission,He will always be the hero in my heart."I countered.
"I know in the deepest part in your heart,there are seeds of hatred…..It will grow and I promise you once it grow into fruition,you will seek me."He said leaving with two Root Anbu.
"I won't let his sacrifice be in vain!"I punched the ground and created a web-shaped eyes are blazing with determination.
