Charles might've not wanted to see Elvis but when his words came to back to him, how he said he would look after Molly, his anger spiked up and his feet carried him on in the direction of his former best friend. He then grabbed him by the shirt with his two hands and pressed him up against the wall "Is this what you call looking after her huh?" he said angrily at him.
Elvis felt the pain of hitting the wall, and maybe a window, down the whole of his spin. Now it was his turn to get the angry lecture. "Do you think I wanted this?" he shouted back and grabbed hold of Charles' shirt too and and they were both so angry with each other that they didn't let go.
"Molly got shot on your watch!" Charles yelled back.
"I was in the UK actually; I didn't know this would happen" Elvis could feel Charles' fingers tightening on his shirt and if he wasn't careful then he was going to rip it but clearly his ex best friend didn't give a shit about that right now.
Elvis might have been in the UK but that didn't mean he didn't feel like shit knowing that Molly had got shot because of him.
"That's just bull, Elvis, you know things like this happen a lot, you didn't protect her" Charles pushed him a bit more in to the wall, if that was even possible.
"Unless you both want to be thrown out I would break it up" a nurse to their side spoke up "Or do you want me to call security?"
Charles held Elvis' hard glare for a moment before he moved his eyes over to look at the women who had beautiful red hair and blue eyes. He then lessened his grip on Elvis' shirt before he then dropped his hands all together and Elvis did the same. "Sorry nurse" he said with a nod and then moved away from Elvis to stand on the other side of the hallway so that he was at least a bit away from the man that would like to pummel his face in to a wall right now.
Elvis would let him too just so that he could feel a bit better about all of this.
"This is the sort of destruction that you leave behind, Elvis." Charles knew that would hurt and he was glad about that because he wanted Elvis to know just how much he had fucked up and if there was one person who could tell him how badly all of this went it was Charles himself. "Everyone was better off without you around, maybe you should have died" and with that he walked down the hall going towards the lifts to go to the cafeteria.
Elvis winced at that and looked down at the ground and let Charlie go, he needed to cool down and away from him right now. Only days before it had been him yelling at his former best friend and now it was the other way around. He deserved all of this anger and so, so, much more. His brown eyes lifts up and looks in the direction of which Charlie had come from and then he moves down to where he guess Molly's room is.
He comes to the room and looks in through the window to see Molly is asleep and Elvis knows that all of this was his fault and if he hadn't come back then Molly wouldn't have been shot. Elvis felt his phone vibrating in his pocket and he dug his fingers in to pull it out and saw that it was Blue who had texted him asking if he had seen Molly yet and Elvis quickly texted back saying that he was there right now but she was asleep or at least she looked asleep but that could be to put Charlie off of coming back in to the room and talking to her.
Elvis put his phone away and then walked in to the room where Molly was and sat down in the chair that he guessed Charlie had vacated from.
He and Molly hadn't exactly been best friends but they got on enough that there wasn't any conflict between the two couples. In fact he thought that she brought the best out in Charlie when they had been married. Now he felt like he wanted to protect her from everything that was going on in the world even though Elvis was well aware of the fact that she didn't need it.
Elvis was lost in his thoughts that he didn't realise that Molly had woken up and was looking right at him until he heard her say his name. 'Elvis' sounded so loud in the room but he was pretty sure that she had only said it softly. He looked over at her and leaned forward "Hey Molly"
"Have you spoken to Charles yet?" she looked over his face but put her eyes on his brown ones.
Elvis shook his head "Yeah I saw him outside but he's gone to get himself a coffee" he gave her a slight smile before he then asked "What happened in that hospital?"
Molly watched him for a moment and then she tried to remember what happened at the hospital and for some reason it was all blurry and she couldn't remember. "I.. don't know"
"It's ok don't worry about it" he put his hand on hers and gave it a little bit of a squeeze. "Back at the American base you said something about Omar, do you remember what that was?"
Molly tried to remember that bit too but she came to the same conclusion. "I don't remember that either" then she started to worry "Elvis, why can't I remember?"
"Either you blocked it out or-"
"Or what?"
He didn't like the thought of saying this but she was looking in to his eyes demanding that he say it "Or someone doesn't want you to remember what happened in there"
"Why would they do that?"
He sighed and ran his tongue over his bottom lip for a moment "Because maybe you saw something they didn't want you to see"
If that was the case then they had to unlock her memories to find out just what it was they were hiding away from them or like he said it could be just the fact that she blocked everything out because it was too painful remembering. Either way they were going to have unlock her memories just to be sure.
One thing Elvis was sure of was that if Dr Antonio had something to do with this then he would kill him himself.
