Slinky rushed over to the monitors and toggled the joystick, moving the camera that was in the Caterpillar room. Then, with Buzz's help, they shot the key across the hall using a rubber band slingshot. Jessie waited on the other side of the door, ready to catch the key. She stopped it with her boot and rushed over to the door. Barbie helped her reach the handle and she placed the key in the lock. Once she got it open, Bullseye began to walk out with Mrs. Potato Head, her sons, and Rosetta on his back. Jessie and Barbie came down from the doorknob and led them over to the sandbox as a spotlight was just about to catch them.

"Okay, straight to the tunnel over on the playground. Are you going to be okay?" The cowgirl asked, looking up at her niece.

"I'll be alright, auntie. Rosetta said. Just please, get dad out."

"I will, sweetheart. Now go, but be careful. And stay out of sight."

"Come on, Bullseye." Barbie whispered. Bullseye followed her. Jessie turned and waved to Hamm, Rex, and Mr. Potato Head. They quickly, but quietly, rushed over to her. "You got the supplies?"

"We got em, Jessie." Rex said. They handed her a small flashlight, a pair of scissors, and a spoon.

"Okay, keep watch. I'm going in." She slid the top open and shimmied into the box. She turned on the flashlight and shined it over the sand, looking to see if any of it was disturbed. In the center, she saw a small indentation in the sand. Hurrying over, she placed the light in the sand and started to dig. Soon she hit something. Getting on her knees, she dug with her hands and found the familiar checkered print shirt of brother. "Woody." He was on his side, but his wrists and feet were tied together with string. She cut the bit of string and pulled him out. He coughed and spit out sand.

"Ugh. Thanks Jess." He said.

"Are you alright? Your freezing cold."

"I'm fine. Come on, let's go." They climbed out of the sandbox, grabbed the guys, and made their way to the tunnel. Mrs. Potato Head saw them and tapped Rosetta's shoulder.

"Here they come, sweetie." She said. Rosetta turned and smiled.

"Daddy! Aunt Jessie!" She whispered. She hugged Jessie first and then Woody, hugging him tight. "Daddy, you're freezing!"

"It's okay, honey. Your warm hug is helping." Woody said, making Rosetta giggle.

"Where are Buzz and Slinky? They should already be here." Jessie said.

"Here they come." Barbie said. They turned and saw Buzz and Slinky running across the playground.

"We made it!" Slinky cried.

"Slink was amazing! Buzz said. Come on, let's get..." Jessie jumped into his arms and kissed his cheek multiple times, taking him by surprise. The gang exchanged looks with each other. Rosetta and Woody smiled at each other.

"Oh, you did it! She cried. We finally are out of there!"

"Not yet. Once we get to the chute, then we are homeward bound! Come on!" He checked the area, and then took hold of her hand and they rushed across the other half of the playground. The others followed when Woody spotted an incoming patrol truck. Rosetta and Bullseye were about to run out, but he grabbed them.

"Get back, get back!" He told them. Jessie, Buzz and the others had gotten across in the bushes. Jessie looked out and saw them hiding. Woody motioned for her to stay there and led Rosetta and Bullseye out of sight of the truck. The truck passed by and they went to go to the swing set when he saw Big Baby, sitting on the swing set, looking up at the moon. The three of them tiptoed behind the baby doll to the other side of the wood area. Bullseye tripped and made a small whine, causing Big Baby to turn his head in their direction. Woody sinks down, holding onto Bullseye and Rosetta, Rosetta hides her face in his shoulder. Big Baby approches the side as Woody looks around and sees a tipped over bucket. The rest of the gang watches as they slowly creep over to the bucket and disappear under it just as Big Baby looks over the side and sees nothing there. Jessie and Buzz let go of the breath they were holding as Woody peeks out of the bucket, sighing in relief. He motions to the horse and his daughter and they sprint over to the bushes with the others. Jessie hugged her brother and niece.

"Woody! Thank goodness he didn't see you!" She cried.

"Come on, the chute's over here!" Rosetta said. Approaching the chute, they saw it was higher than they expected.

"Now what?" Hamm said.

"Yeah, no way are we getting that open." Potato Head said.

"I got this." Buzz said. He jumped against the fence, did a few acrobatic moves in the air, and hitched his feet to the handle, lowering it down. The gang cheered.

"Wow. Way to go, Buzz!" Jessie said. Slinky jumped up to the top, and let the others climb up his coils. Last was Woody, who was just about to grab onto the springy dog when he was grabbed and pulled into the bushes. Up in the chute, the others had slid down, making sure not to go into the garbage bin.

"Okay, is that everyone?" Rosetta asked. She looked at her family when she noticed someone missing. "Hey, where's dad?"

"He was the last to come up. Where did he go?" Slinky asked. Suddenly they heard a sinister laugh.

"Looking for someone?" They all turned around and saw Lotso, his paw clamped tight around Woody's mouth.

*Ah! Next chapter is coming soon. Also, I had a dream last night, a brand new story idea. This would be the toys as humans, set in L.A and have the same kind of feel as shows such as Law and order SVU, Chicago p.d, etc. Woody and Jessie are highly decorated detectives, Bo is a 911 dispatcher, and Buzz works as a professor at Caltech. This totally came to me last night and some details may be changed, but I wondered if this would be something you all would want to read? Let me know!*
