Chapter 11:
ACP was sitting on the floor with his back attached to the couch and Abhijeet was sitting with his head on ACP's chest….
ACP sir ( In painful-teary tone ): Uss waqt na beta hum delhi mein rehte the ( he took a deep breath to calm his emotions while Abhijeet tightened his grip on him ,attached his head on his chest and was having tears in his eyes)
Flashback :
Months passed after that painful incident in their life…
Namarta was sitting in her bedroom and was looking at the things with teary eyes of her baby which she had bought from the market after she got the most brilliant news in her life that she was going to become a mother…
ACP came from the bureau and entered inside his room , he sighed painfully seeing her condition...he went towards her and kept his hand on her shoulder...who looked at him with teary-red eyes…
ACP sir ( In teary tone ): Namarta!...
Namarta ( softly flaring hands on her baby's toys ): Humne kitne pyaar se liye the na apne baby ke liye ( In dreamy-teary tone ) Uss din to hum itne khush the puri dukaan hi uthake le aaye the ( chuckling a bit in tears ) shopkeeper bhi humse pareshaan hogaya ( ACP smiled at her ruefully)
ACP sir ( In teary-consoling tone ) : Namarta dekho sambhalna hoga na khud ko
Namarta cut him in pain : To aap hi batayie ACP sahab kya problem thi bhagwan ko humari khushiyon se jo unhone humare baby ( In moist-painful tone ) ko iss duniya mein aane se phele hi cheen liya and she burst into tears...while ACP took her in a side hug…
After a few minutes when she was bit composed he separated her from the hug and wiped her tears softly…
ACP sir ( In teary-consoling tone ) : Dekho Namarta aaj uss din ko paanch mahine hogaye pure kab tak tum usko yaad karke roti rahogi…
Namarta ( smiled ruefully at him ): Aap sambhal paye hai apne aap ko aaj tak ( ACP looked at him with painful-teary expressions) aise mat dekhiye mere samne nahi batate hai akele bethke rote hai to kya mujhe samajh nahi aayega ( ACP immediately hid his eyes while few painful tears slipped down his eyes)...she hugged him tightly while he was rubbing her head softly to calm her…
Suddenly the doorbell rang , they got confused for a while as to who might have arrived at 9 in night…
Both of them cleared their teary eyes and went for the opening the door...as soon as they opened the door , a person breathing heavily , hairs messed up, his clothes were dirty full of mud and he was sweating badly with a small baby of nearly two months wrapped in the blanket crying badly entered inside after pushing them aside…
ACP sir ( In shocked-confused tone): Arun ! kya hua hai iss halat mein tum yahan kya kar rahe ho…
He hurriedly closed the door as he was fearing that the goons who were following him might enter inside…
ACP sir ( In shocking tone): Hua kya hai aur tum itne chotte bachche ko aise halat mein leke kya kar rahe ho…..
Arun ( In teary-broken tone ): P..Pradyuman ( tightening the grip on the baby) vo vo iss nanhi si jaan ko maar denge ( ACP and Namarta looked towards each other in shock-tension and he was repeating his line in panic ,scare)
ACP sir made him sit on a chair and gave him a glass of water who drank it in just one go to calm down his fright…
Arun (In fear hugged the baby tightly who was crying in his arms due to loud sounds): Pradyuman tum hi batao 2 mahine ka hai mera Abhi bass kya kasoor hai iska jo iski jaan ke peeche padhe hai…some tears started flowing through his eyes…
ACP sir (sitting beside him and held his hands lightly): K..kon maar dega isko…
Arun (In teary-disgusting tone): Iske khud ke maa aur baap...ACP and Namarta looked towards each other with appalled expressions…
Namarta (In extreme shock): Kya keh rahe hai aap itne pyare bachche ko kyun koi marega….
Arun (Looking towards face of the baby): Bhabhi sach mein mere bade bhai se khatra hai isko kuch paiso ke liye aur apne galat kaamo ke liye unhone phele humare Dad ki jaan leli aur ab iske peeche padhe hai vo...(kissing his forehead with love , bursting into tears after hugging him tightly )...
ACP and Namarta were trying to grasp the things as how can parents kill their own child… and his words were hammering nails in their heart as they were a couple who could never become parents in their life but on the other hand there were a couple who were trying to kill their own child...
ACP sir ( In confused tone ): Tum humse kya chahte ho ( taking out his mobile phone ) mai abhi apni team ko lagata hun uss Prakash ke peeche…
Arun ( In fear held his hand ): Nahi ACP Nidhi unke pass kidnap hai vo maar denge usko….( ACP and Namarta looked at him with shock while he joined his hands in front of them ) Please aap log isko apna beta bana ke rakhlo ( ACP and Namarta looked at him with stunned-teary expressions while he softly flared his hand on the face of the baby) isko le jao yahan se please ACP tumhare pass ye ek dum safe rahega….
ACP sir ( coming out of shock ): Aise kaise par
Arun (held his hand tightly ): Please ACP mana mat karna socho to sahi iss ke bare mein kya kasoor hai iska ( getting no response from his side he turned to Namarta ) Bhabhi aap ki samjhaiye na isko please bhabhi dekhiye to sahi iski taraf jabse ye paida hua hai tabse vo iske peche padhe hai aur phele to Dad isko protect karte the ab unke jane ke baad aur khatra badh gaya hai Abhi pe ( In teary-painful tone ) Mujhe meri koi fikar nahi hai mera jo bhi hona ho hojayega par isko kuch nahi hona chahiye…( he was looking with hope that they would say yes )...aur aaj bhi kitne mushkil se bachake laya hun isko abhi bhi mere peeche padhe hai vo log
Namarta to ACP sir in teary tone : ACP sahab ( he looked at her with teary-painful expressions )...
ACP sir ( took a deep breath to compose his emotions and declared in composed tone ): Namarta abse Abhijeet humara beta banke rahega…( Arun smiled in tears at his decision while Namarta looked at him with red-teary eyes )...
ACP looked at Namrata and declared in authoritative tone : aur Arun Abhi ko kuch nahi hone dunga mai kabhi bhi wada karta hun ( In determined-strong tone ) Vo Prakash mere bete ke aas paas bhi nahi bhatkega kabhi abhi uska baap zinda hai waise bhi…( Arun smiled at "mere bete" while Namarta looked at him with wet face and assured him through her eyes that she is with him in his decision and ACP looked at her with satisfied smile as he got the desired response from her side )
Arun ( while giving Abhijeet in ACP's arms ): Mere bachche ka khayal rakhna humesha tumpe mujhe pura bharosa hai…(he gave a soft kiss on Abhijeet's forehead )
ACP looked towards Abhijeet for a moment who was having a cute smile on his lips : Arun bilkul chinta mat karna mai Abhi ko kabhi kuch nahi hone dunga hum Abhi ka bilkul uske maa baap ki tarah hi khayal rakhenge..( In teary-smiley tone ) aur isko sari khushiyan dunga jo ye deserve karta hai….(he hugged him tightly while Arun smiled looking at their bond )...
Arun ( softly flaring his hand on his head and wiped his teary eyes harshly): P..Pradyuman mai jata hun kahin vo mujhe dhundhte hue idhar na aajaye aur jitni jaldi ho na yahan se nikal jana tum log...and once again Thank You so much…
ACP sir ( In worry ):Par tumhari jaan ko to khatra rahega na vahan pe…
Arun ( smiled at him ): Mujhe meri koi chinta nahi hai bass mera Abhi theek rahe ( turned his back to hide pain and tears in his eyes) baas mere bachche ka khayal rakhna mai chalta hun ( he ran from there hiding his teary eyes )...
Namarta ( softly took the baby in his arms and hugged him tightly ): ACP sahab lagta hai bhagwan ko hum pe taras aa gaya hai jo unhone itna pyara bachcha humare pass dediya ( chuckling a bit and spoke dreamily ) Dekhiye to yehi kismat hai Arun bhai sahab bhi humare pass hi deke gaye na isko…
ACP sir ( smiled at her tears and hugged them tightly ): Sahi kaha Namarta bhagwan ne Abhi ko humare liye hi bheja shayad vo bhi chahte honge ki hume bhi (Taking his baby in his arms ) parents hone ka ehsaas ho jaye….( Namarta and ACP looked at him with beautiful smile on their faces while Abhijeet was playing with buttons in ACP's shirts )
A soft laugh escaped through their mouth seeing him looking too sweet and adorable...while both of them pledged to protect happiness in their life forever .
Flash back over :
Abhijeet looked at him with red-moist eyes...while ACP was still lost in his thoughts remembering the day…
Abhijeet ( In teary-hurtful tone ): Dad ( ACP jerked out of his trance and looked at him with tears ) aise bhi kya kiya tha maine jo mere khud ke Mom-Dad meri jaan ke peeche padh gaye...( innocently ) mai bahut bura hun na isliye vo mujhe maarna chahte the na….
ACP sir looked at him in pain while his eyes became teary and his tone hammered several nails in his heart
ACP sir ( keeping his hand on his cheek ): Khabardar jo tumne ek shabd bhi bola hai to ( In hurt-angry tone ) hamesha pyar se baat karta hun to iska matlab ye nahi hai ki kabhi laga nahi sakta ( Abhijeet downed his head and was shredding numerous tears from his eyes ) Abhi ( Abhijeet was still looking down with tears in his eyes while he cupped his face and made him look into his eyes and spoke in loving tone ) Aise baat mat karna beta tumhare aansu mujhe bahut takleef dete hai beta ( In Loving-teary tone ) Tumse bahut pyar jo karta hun beta ( Abhijeet looked at him in tears ) aur mera beta kisi ke liye roye ye mai bardasht nahi karunga na ( softly kissed his head ) mera bachcha to duniya ka sabse achcha beta hai (dreamily ) Tumhe pata hai hum dono tumse kitna pyar karte the kismat se mujhe Dad sunne ko milla tha tumhare muh se (chuckling a bit ) uss din to pagal hi ho gaya tha mai…( In hurt tone ) aur tum ho ki kisi ke liye mere bachche ko rula rahe ho…
Abhijeet spoke nothing and kept his head on his chest...ACP ruffled his hairs softly and kissed his head lovingly
ACP sir in tears : Ab to mera chota sa cockroach se darne vala Abhi nahi royega na… ( Abhijeet chuckled a bit in tears which provided great sooth to ACP's heart...and was kissing his head again and again with love…)Uske baad na beta…tumhari maa na khush ho gayi thi ek dum se...
Flash back :
Namarta took him to bedroom and made him lie on the bed…
Namarta ( smiled ) : ACP sahab aap thodi der Abhi ke pass bethenge mai abhi ke liye dudh garam karke lati hun…ACP smiled at her as she was looking happy after five long and painful months…
ACP went towards him and sat beside his kid….
ACP softly flaring his hand on his head : Mera beta akela akela kya kar raha hai Dad ke sath khelega mera bachcha…
Abhijeet while playing with a toy nodded at him lightly….ACP laughed at it and picked him up in his arms….
ACP ( cutely pulling his cheeks and kissed it softly ) : Mera bachcha…
He started tossing him up in the air lovingly , Abhijeet started smiling sweetly and he put his thumb in his mouth looking too cute…
After few minutes, both of them started playing with baby toys
ACP hugging him possessively : Mera pyar sa gudda and he rubbed his nose in his stomach while Abhijeet started laughing cutely….
Namarta was standing at the doorstep with a baby bottle in her hand and she smiled lovingly at them….and prayed to protect the sweet laughter of her baby forever in her life….
Namarta ( taking Abhijeet in his arms ): Mera baby milk piyega chalo she attached the bottle to his mouth and he started drinking….
ACP sir ( in hesitation ): Ek baat puchni hai tumse….
Namarta nodded at him…
ACP with a childish-shy smile : Ye mujhe Dad kab bolega….
Namarta looked at him for a moment and burst out laughing seeing his shy smile….
ACP in annoyance : Kya hai?!...
Namarta controlled his laughter : ACP sahab do mahine ka hai vo ek saal se pehle bachche bolne nahi lagte and she started laughing again loudly….while a hidden smile erupted on ACP's lips seeing her…
Abhijeet coughed a bit while drinking…
Namarta in tension patted his back softly : ACP sahab aap ki vajah se dekha huh!...
ACP in a shocking tone : Heinn?! Isme meri kya galti hai…khansi usse aayi hai to ab mai kya kar sakta hun...aur tum ho ki mujhe hi suna rahi ho huhh !...
Namrata sternly : To aur kiski galti hai disturb aap ne kiya mujhe…
ACP was seeing her with an open mouth while she added : Chaliye ab jayie dusre room mein mein mujhe mere baby ko sulana hai…
ACP sir in a shocking tone : Par mai bhi mere bachche ke sath sounga…
Namarta shaking her head in no : Bilkul nahi ! pata bhi hai sote sote aap kitne kharate marte hai... ( softly flaring hand on Abhijeet's head and added in concern) to firr mere baby ko disturbance hogi na jayie aap…
After giving the order she stood up , made Abhijeet lie down on the bed and she sat beside him while patting his head softly leaving behind confused and shocked ACP….
ACP in a confused-shocked tone murmured : Mein kharate marta hun heinn ?! mujhe to aaj tak pata nahi tha…
Namarta in tease : Ab pata lag gaya na chaliye jayie…
ACP sir in an annoyed tone : Ruko to iske sone ke baad jaunga mein…Namarta looked at him with a disappointed smile while he lay down near his baby and was patting his stomach lovingly…
After few minutes ,
Namarta looked at them. Abhijeet was sleeping peacefully and ACP had also slept with his one hand on Abhijeet's stomach...a aww-loving smile erupted on her face…
Namrata with a smile : Ye bhi na usko sulate sulate so gaye yehi pe…
Flashback over :
Abhijeet was laughing listening to the incident...while ACP was sitting there and looking at him with an aww-loving smile…and was praying to almighty to protect his laughter in his heart...
ACP sir in sweet smile : Uske baad ka to sunlo ( Abhijeet looked at him) firr na aadhi raat mein uth gaye the tum aur uske baad jo tumhari maa ne meri class lagayi...aaj tak hasi aati hai mujhe…
Abhijeet murmured : To aap ke kharate hai hi khatarnak…
ACP sir started tickling him : Achcha bachu abhi batata hun... ( Abhijeet started laughing at it loudly ) zid karte the tum bachpan mein mere sath sone ki aur yahan pe kharate kharate kar rahe ho ( touching his ears again and again) Ghor kal yug hai bhaii... (Abhijeet laughed at his expressions and tone loudly )...
