[She is about to attack Richard, but stops when Anais and Darwin start crying helplessly. Nicole sees her kids, terrified and shaking while they try to shelter each other. Nicole's ears drop and her eyes turn back to normal again. She tears up too and falls to the floor. Richard relaxes his shoulders and hugs his heartbroken wife. Nicole pushes him away.]

Nicole: N-no! G-get away from me! I c-could've killed you!

Richard: Please, Nicole... We will get help, okay?

Nicole: This is not okay, Richard! Can't you see what I've done?! This can't go on forever!

Richard: Y-you-

Nicole: I'm so sick of it! Sick, I tell you!

[Nicole angrily scratches her own arms open with her claws. She digs them deeply into her fur until blood flows on them.]

Nicole: Rraaarghh!

Richard: No, stop it! You're gonna horribly wound yourself!

Nicole: But I wounded you, didn't I!

[Richard sternly grabs her paws and uses all his might to hold her still.]

Richard: Look at me, Nicole.

[Nicole keeps her head low and avoids eye contact.]

Richard: Look at me!

[Nicole raises her head and Richard's eyes widen when he sees her horrible condition. It is clearly visible she's more exhausted and Richard now understands why she was so sensitive.]

Richard: The appointment at the therapist is tomorrow. Can you stop hating yourself at least until then?

[Nicole gulps and nods. She is terrified and deeply ashamed. No one is safe around me anymore, she heartbrokenly thinks... Nicole hides her face with her paws and Richard signs the kids that it's fine now and they can come closer. Gumball is the first one to hug his mother and his siblings follow. Nicole calms a bit down and tightly hugs them back. She and Gumball touch each other with their noses and close their eyes. Gumball learned this gesture from her when he was still a kitten and she told him it was a feline's way to express calmness. Nicole then crouches to look all her three children in the eye and dries her tears.]

Nicole: R-remember, kids... that I love you more than anything.

Darwin: We k-know, M-Mrs. Mom. I j-just hope this all can be fixed.

[Nicole sighs and nods.]

Nicole: I-I still have a little bit of hope now. I'm just so tired... All this is just too exhausting for me.

Richard: You better get some rest now, Nicole. It's all gonna be fine.

[Nicole nods and smiles at her children before going downstairs. Richard and the kids sigh deeply in relief and decide to return to bed. Richard tucks the three in and goes downstairs too. Halfway in the living room he freezes and sees another paper hanging next to the therapist's address on the fridge. He enters the kitchen and grabs it. He reads a phone number which is written down by hand with names next to it. His eyes widen when he recognizes them and feels determined enough to make a decision. 'Daniel and Mary Senicourt'...]

Tuesday 10.00AM

[It's a rainy morning when Nicole and Richard enter Erin Warrington's office again. He had also listened to Nicole's issues some months ago and is surprised to see the couple again. They all sit down and Erin offers the two a glass of water. Nicole nervously holds her paws together and her tail waves slowly. The therapist is aware of Nicole's committed crimes as he took precautions such as having tranquilizer darts and chains within reach.]

E. Warrington: So... Welcome back Mr. and Mrs. Watterson. I've heard some shocking news if I'm right and today I'm going to try to give come up with a possible solution.

[Nicole nods and Richard holds her paw to encourage her.]

E. Warrington: Please tell me, Mrs. Watterson, what is it that frightens you most?

Nicole: F-frightens? I, uh... I honestly think the scariest thing ever would be losing my family.

E. Warrington: Understandable. Now, why do you think... you went so far in almost attacking your loved ones in some situations?

Nicole: I honestly don't know... I usually am too enraged at that moments and my mind becomes like total static. I don't remember anything until I get my normal senses back or when I see the consequences of my action. [Sighs] Look sir, all I want is to cool down again. I believe it's a curse that got provoked to its worst. I want to learn how to control it... how to live with it.

[Erin nods and gets a medical briefcase from underneath his desk. He opens it and reveals a small device.]

E. Warrington: I've asked the hospital for some tools before your appointment and here I have something that could be useful.

Nicole: What is it?

E. Warrington: It's a device which will measure your blood pressure and keep track of other negative activity in your body. If you wear it incoming week, we can see immediate results afterwards.

Nicole: All right, I approve. But then isn't there anything you could give as advice in the meantime?

E. Warrington: I'm afraid not regarding your supernatural condition, but I do prescribe enough rest and try to switch from coffee to tea if you didn't already.

[He winks at Nicole, letting her know that last part was a joke and it makes her smile for a second.]

Nicole: Will do. Thank you, sir.

E. Warrington: Best of luck to both of you and I hope to see you next week.

[Nicole and Richard both greet the therapist and walk out of the office. Nicole immediately attaches the device to her wrist, where it has to go, in order not to forget it. Then they make their way back to the car and leave. Nicole starts to feel a little more hopeful. She looks at the small black metal, rectangular-shaped device around her wrist and smiles, feeling like it eventually could be her cure...

After a short while, the couple arrives back home and Nicole notices a familiar black car parked next to their lawn. She and Richard make their way to the front door of the house and she points at the car while facing her husband.]

Nicole: I-is that-?

Richard: Yes, I know. I'm sorry I didn't tell you, but I thought you would heavily block this idea.

[Nicole's ears lower themselves and she looks Richard in the eye in disbelief, while her pupils turn big. She then turns around, only to see a tall blue cat with pointy ears and a smaller brown-white cat getting out of the black car. The blue cat has long whiskers, similar to Gumball's and has a stern expression on her face. The small brown-white cat has shorter whiskers and looks less stern, but grumpier than the blue cat. They walk closer and Nicole freezes while not exactly knowing what to do. Her heart sinks and she nervously holds her tail.]

Nicole: M-Mom? Dad? But what are you doing here?
