Chapter 13

The next morning Liv woke up early. Lola wasn't cuddled up against her anymore, she was lying next to El and they both looked really cute. She remembered that Sarah wanted to go for a run again today, so she decided to wake her and let the other two sleep. She wrote a short note, packed her stuff and before she left the room, she took a picture of them with her phone. They were just too adorable!

After over an hour later Sarah and Liv came back to the hotel room to find the other two still asleep, so they decided to shower and wake them afterwards. She just came out of the shower when there was a light knock on the bathroom door. Elliot entered sleepily. He walked behind her and rested his head on her shoulder.

"Good morning, beautiful." She smiled at him through the mirror.

"Good morning! Is Lola awake too?"

"Nope, still asleep. How long are you awake?"

"A while now. Sarah and I have already gone for a run at the beach."

"Wow! That's great! I'm impressed!" She smiled and kissed his cheek. When she tried to walk away, Elliot pulled her into a hug.

"I need my morning cuddles!" he mumbled while burying his face in her neck.

"God, you smell so good!" he nibbled on her neck and said, "You taste even better." She turned around and started to kiss him eagerly. He grabbed her ass and squeezed it gently. She moaned and pressed herself against him, feeling his growing erection pressed against her.

"Dad? Olivia? Are you here?" It was Lola. Liv jumped away and pushed him out of the room.

"Go talk to your daughter!" she commanded. He looked at her disappointed.

"Didn't I tell you that it isn't nice to do things like this?" he said pouting.

"Just go!" she said, shaking her head smiling.

A few minutes later she came out of the bathroom fully dressed. El was the only one in the room. He looked at her disappointedly.

"Why are you dressed already?" he said accusingly. She shook her head amused.

"Well, sorry. I thought YOUR DAUGHTER was in here, mister!"

"Damn it! This morning started so nice!" He smiled at the memory of the kiss they shared a view minutes ago. Liv threw a cushion at his head.

"Get it together, Stabler. Where are the kids?"

"In their room, getting ready for breakfast." Then there was a knock at the door.

"Can we come in?" Sarah asked.

"Sure." Olivia said. "You ready for breakfast?"

"Yes, I am starving."

"I can't believe we're going home tomorrow." Sarah said.

"I know. I don't wanna go either." Liv said sadly. "I loved spending so much time with you guys."

"Me too." Lola said while eating her cereal. "God, can you please swallow your food before you talk?" Sarah said disgustedly.

"Any plans for today?" Elliot asked before the girls could start a fight.

"We could play beach volleyball with the tattoo guy again." Sarah said laughing. El shot her a look to tell her to stop laughing but this only made her laugh harder. Liv had to suppress a smile too.

"Lola, what do you wanna do?" Elliot said, ignoring Sarah. The young girl looked up at him and said, "I guess I would like to spend some time with Rosie, because I won't see her again after this holiday and I wanna go to the beach."

"Well, do you want to go over to her table with me and ask her parents if that's okay with them?" Elliot asked. Lola nodded happily.

"So any other ideas than the one that made your father ignore you?" Liv said grinning.

"Well, it was really funny, come on. I saw your face, you so wanted to laugh." Liv smiled at her.

"I was funny but back to my question, what do you wanna do today?"

"I want to go to the beach too and to the pool and maybe we could ride the banana boat while Lola is with Rosie, I've never done it before but it looks so funny."

"Sounds like a plan." Liv said smiling.

"Really? You wanna ride it too?"

"Of course I do. It's fun." Liv said smiling. Elliot and Lola came back to the table.

"Lola will be with Rosie and her parents at the beach this afternoon. What do you wanna do until then?"

"We could go to the pool for a while and then we go to the beach so Lola can meet up with Rosie and her parents and we can go banana boat riding." Liv said. Elliot looked at her surprised.

"It was my idea. I wanted to do it and Liv said she likes it too." Sarah said, "You are okay with it, right?" She looked at him pleadingly.

He started to smile. "Yes, I am."

"Yey, thank you dad." Sarah said cheerfully.

They had a great morning at the pool. Liv loved spending time with the kids and Elliot, of course. Around 2 o'clock they went down to the beach. Lola ran towards Rosie and her parents and Sarah said, "Finally! Let's do something fun."

"You really wanna tell me that you didn't have fun in the pool with us?" Liv asked unbelievingly.

"Sure, I had fun but come on, she really is exhausting and annoying." Liv shook her head laughing.

"Actually I really enjoy spending time with her. She is so honest and full of energy. I think it's pretty refreshing but I do understand what you mean. I've only spent the last week with her and not even every day, so I don't really know what it feels like to be with her almost 24/7."

Sarah smiled at her.

"Finally, one grown up who understands that it isn't always easy to be a big sister to such an eccentric little girl." Elliot started to laugh.

"Yes Sarah, we get it. Your life is really hard." Liv punched him in the arm.

"Ouch, stop it!" Elliot said laughing. Sarah looked at Liv thankfully.

Two hours later they lay down on their towels pretty exhausted.

"This was so much fun but I am dead." Sarah said.

"Me too." Liv said next to her.

"I don't know what you're talking about. I feel pretty fit." Elliot said laughing.

"Maybe because you watched us from the beach after the first two rounds." Sarah said laughing.

"Well, I knew it would be way more fun, watching you two fall off the thing than riding it myself."

"Ya whatever, dad." Elliot smirked and they all lay there for a while without talking.

"Are you two up for a swim in the ocean?" Elliot said after about 30 minutes.

"I'll pass." Liv said, rolling onto her stomach. He just couldn't help himself but to stare at her. She looked so good. Okay, get it together, Stabler. You've seen her perfect ass before.

"What about you, Sarah? Come on. You are young, you have to be fitter than this ol.." he was interrupted by Liv.

"Watch it!" she said looking up at him sternly but with a small smile. He started to laugh.

"Alright, so are you up for a little fun in the water, Sarah?"

"Fine. Let's go." she said.

Elliot came back to where Liv was sunbathing, dripping wet. She was still lying on her stomach so she didn't see him coming, he lay down on top of her and she squealed.

"Oh my god, Elliot!" she said laughing. He rolled off of her and laughed too.

"I thought you needed to cool down a bit."

"Well, thanks. Really thoughtful of you." she said smiling at him. "Where's Sarah?"

"I asked her to go get Lola. I told her I would meet them by the water. You wanna join us?"

"I am already wet, right? So why not?"

They decided to go in the water while waiting for the girls. Elliot pulled her toward him. She tried to pull away but he said, "They are nowhere in sight. I promise."

She let out a sigh that said, okay. He hugged her close and she wrapped her legs around his waist. He started to kiss her and she kissed him back. It was a passionate and steamy kiss but Liv pulled away and said, "I really enjoy this but I can't help but wonder about the girls. I don't want them to see us messing around in the water like teenagers." He started to laugh.

"I don't know about your youth but mine wasn't like this. I've never kissed someone like this back then. It was way more.." he made a funny face. Liv started to laugh. "You know exactly what I mean." He grinned and let her down.

"I am doing what you asked me to but not without showing my displeasure." he said with a dissatisfied look on his face.

"Noted" she said grinning while kissing his cheek. "Thank you."

He looked at her lovingly, knowing exactly why she thanked him. He accepted her boundaries and didn't pressure her.

"Dad, Olivia, I am back!" Lola shouted while running into the water to them. They started to laugh.

"We can see that honey." Elliot said while walking towards her. "Thank you, Sarah." She just nodded and made her way to Olivia.

"This girl talks and talks and talks." she said. Olivia started to laugh and put a hand on her shoulder understandingly.

"She can sleep with us again if you want the bed for yourself."

"Oh no, you two deserve to have some time alone. And when she sleeps, she's kinda cute." This made Olivia laugh again.

"Well, tell me if you change your mind. I don't mind her sleeping with us." Sarah moved closer and hugged her. Liv was pretty surprised but hugged her back happily.

"I want a hug too." Lola suddenly said next to them. Sarah let go of Liv saying that her little sister was everywhere. Liv smiled at her sympathetically.

"Come here, sweetie." she said to Lola and hugged her tightly, while spinning them around. The young girl started to laugh happily.

"I saw that you give away free hugs, so I thought I'd try to get one too." Elliot said grinning.
"Sorry, this was my last one." Liv said apologetically. Lola started to laugh.

"Sorry dad, I got the last one." Elliot started to chase his little girl and she tried to get away in the deep water but she stood no chance.

"No daddy. It's not my fault. I didn't know that it was the last one." she said laughing cheerfully. Liv watched them with a huge smile on her face. They were so cute together.

An hour later they were in their rooms getting ready for dinner.

"You really showered while I helped Lola pack her suitcase." Elliot said disappointedly.

"I did. I had to prevent yesterday's events from happening again."

"Why? It was really great." he said questioningly. She smiled and moved closer.

"It was but I can't do that if there is the possibility of the girls hearing us, or well me." He started to grin like a highschool boy.

"Wipe that grin off of your face and take a shower." she said amused. He moved closer and kissed her deeply.

"Your wish is my command." She shook her head smiling. He was such an idiot, a cute and pretty sexy idiot.

Dinner wasn't really eventful because they were all pretty exhausted and hungry.

Back in their rooms they decided to watch a movie before going to bed again. They all lay down in Elliot's and Olivia's bed and watched "Finding Nemo" one of Lola's all time favourites. Lola fell asleep after about 20 minutes so Sarah asked if they could watch something else. Elliot carried Lola to the other room and Sarah picked out another movie.

Liv could barely hold her eyes open and when she looked over at Elliot, she saw that he was already asleep.

"Oh my god. That's so typical for him." Sarah whispered laughing.

"I am pretty tired too. Would you mind if I'd go to bed." she asked.

"Of course not. I am more than tired myself." They wished each other a good night and Sarah left the room.

Liv lay down next to Elliot and snuggled up against his chest, her new favourite sleeping position. She could see him smile while wrapping his arms around her, pulling her closer. She kissed him gently and wished him a good night.

The next day was even more exhausting than the one before. After breakfast they drove to the airport but their flight was 3 hours delayed and waiting at an airport with two minors wasn't really fun.

When they finally arrived back in New York they were surprised by Kathy. She ran towards the kids and hugged them, then she turned to Elliot and hugged him too, Olivia got a short 'Hello'.

"How are you? Your flight was pretty exhausting, huh? A 3 hour delay, my poor babies. Are you hungry? You wanna go grab something to eat?"

Elliot turned towards Olivia with an apologetical look on his face. He moved closer and said, "I am sorry, I didn't.."

"Don't even start. I know you didn't ask or wanted her to come. I am pretty exhausted, so I'll just get going."

"No, I can drive you. I didn't bring you to the airport because of her, let me at least take you home." he said almost begging.

"El, I am really not in the mood for a fight or just one of her mean comments. We are all exhausted, I'll just grab a cab. It's no big deal." she said smiling.

"It's a big deal for me." She brushed his arm gently.

"Thank you for this holiday and everything else." He looked at her smiling.

"I have to thank you. This was the best holiday ever."

"Elliot? Did you hear me?" Kathy asked from behind. He let out a sigh.

"No, sorry. I was talking to Olivia." Kathy looked at Olivia derogatorily.

"Okay, well. It's time for me to say goodbye." Liv walked to the girls and said, "I had a really great holiday with you guys. Thank you."

The girls hugged her one by one and Sarah said, "It was a really amazing holiday. Thank you for forgiving me."

"I hope I'll see you soon." Lola said.

Liv looked at them lovingly and said goodbye before turning towards Kathy and Elliot.

"Thank you again for the invitation and the great holiday. See you on monday at work. Bye, Kathy." she said nicely before walking towards the exit.
