The RV, New York

The Next Day

It was just the lady folk present currently, there was a room just off the control area that was a good sized living room, most of the nearby areas were living areas, the next floor down being really huge personal quarters, all as per Harry's design specifications, part of what he'd been doing.

"Well" Thea said sitting forward and looking intently at Allison.

"Well?" Allison asked with a barely innocent smile.

"Oh, come on, don't make me drag it out of you, I am trained in torture!" Thea said, not so playfully.

"We're an item" Allison said making a very poor effort to hide her smile, "It..." she started as her smile slipped, "Isn't exactly what I hoped for, but it is close enough that," she smiled bigger, a lot bigger, "It's pretty damn good."

"Not to be selfish" Frost asked.

"That he asked me to disseminate." Allison said, "But basically he loves you all."

Clara drooped a little.

"Hey...tiny, I'm talking to you as well. Well done girl, you seriously over played your hand so perfectly he has no idea you have feelings for him. The fact you managed to pull that off is actually quite impressive, since it's almost impossible to lie to Harry without some tell giving you away."

"He what now?" Clara said perking up.

"He has serious feelings for you, but he felt they weren't returned, so he didn't' burden you with his issues. Congratulations you got one over on Harry and congratulations on it being something so stupidly obvious to ANY woman that has seen you look in his direction in ever. Well done! For wasting that." Allison said rolling her eyes a lot.

Clara sighed, "Yes...thank you...lovely, I fucked up. He really does though?"

"Oh...totally, he thinks you're bug nuts insane, but that's part of the charm I think." Allison said. "Essentially his side bar to gain a T.A.R.D.I.S. of our very own has netted well, Clara, one of you guys, and Ash," she wet her lips, "Same as me."

"Ohhh" Frost winced.

Thea made a face, "Ouch"

Elena looked at her commiseratingly.

Ash smirked, "I suppose we have an issue then?"

"No, we do not! We REALLY do not" Allison doubled up to make certain. "If not for you, this entire sidebar could've been filled with simple and meaningless and nice and easy for him to totally blank us when he got back."

"He never would've done that." Ash said seriously.

"I think you met him a little later on from where he left us." Allison said seriously. "He was VERY much in two minds as to how to proceed, and I think leaning towards it might be better not to do a single thing."

Ash laughed, "That's not what he told me!"

"Oh?" Allison asked her.

"It's not like I'm going to spill his secrets all out in the open, but he was already missing you all when I met him not long after I became Immortal, or just very good at healing as he terms it."

"Why not immortal, exactly" Thea asked.

"Because in theory if I take enough trauma, I will be killed. No come back. A true immortal will come back, some simply won't die."

"I heard tell you can supposedly kill other immortals, I heard you had a...knack" Jamie asked, Harry was out with Sherlock and Joan, so she was in her other approved company, Harry's team.

"Well, I suppose I do." Ash said with a slight smile, "Sometimes it's all about how they are killed, and most can't can't back from total atomizing. I hope the one that threw himself in a black hole died, I can tell you that, or it really sucks to be him right now."

"Immortals were committing suicide. That is incongruous" Frost noted.

"The end was nigh!" Ash said dramatically, "They didn't want to spend eternity in nothingness! Oh poor them" she said with little to no compassion shown to that class of immortal. "It's my theory that whatever controlled their immortality just got fed up with the constant whining."

Allison snorted, nearly choking up a lung, "Ignore that...that didn't happen."

Ash smiled at her, "It was cute actually." she said with a wink. "Anyway, I had a different outlook."

"And your outlook" They sort of collectively asked.

"Curiosity" Ash replied simply. "I wanted to see what came...next, if anything."

Allison was smiling approvingly at her.

"That's...cool" Frost said after a moment,"I guess that changed."

"When Harry, the man I've loved for oh...billions of years tells you he's off home, would you like to come. What else do you say but YES! In a way I found out what comes next." Ash waved an expressive hand to indicate well...everything. She crossed her legs Allison's eyes dipping.

"I see you lost those jeans pretty damn quick." Allison remarked.

"It is odd actually, I mostly dressed rather masculine. Hell at times I played boys to get into wars," Ash said, "But whenever Harry turned up I was on a skirt day."

Allison burst into laughter.

TARDIS, 'Or the RV', New York

The Next Day, Late Afternoon

Harry felt a very familiar and welcome small form settle and snuggle in closer, they were both now leaning on a bannister over looking a truly huge multiple biome dome.

"How in gods green Earth did you get this made and set up so quickly."

"This, is not a room in this T.A.R.D.I.S., it's just connected to a doorway in the RV now. No this is a magical construct I call The Arc." Harry said with a small grin.

"Of course you do, I think I can maybe, potentially glean what it does from the milling animals, self growing plants and all those different type's of biome"

"You're not that bad for a Viking" he noted.

"I'm a woman, by my very nature more intelligent than any man"

"Not arguing" Harry chuckled.

"You always were a little special" Ash smiled lovingly at him.

They just stood there a moment, just enjoying each others company. Their relationship was well aged enough to just do that, live each other without filling it with needless conversation. It was old enough that usually they knew what the other was thinking anyway, but sometimes it's good to talk.

"How went the meeting?" Harry asked her eventually, off that thought.

"It was good, I mean honestly I've not used in billions of years, it's perhaps unlikely I will, but having that support...it felt good, I think Sherlock even likes that"

"Fascinating fellow, huh?"

"I'm surprised he's not dead for touching your Sally-Anne"

"Hey...watch using that name she'd kill us both if she heard you using it. But... nice to see those memory techniques still work for you."

She smirked, then leaned her head on the side of his shoulder, "You have the others worried"

"Why?"

"You made your commitment and yet have yet to spend much time in their company. Allison is...actually more than I thought she would be so well done for finding a good woman to share my soul."

"I wouldn't let her hear you say that, just a word to the wise, since I think she's of the same opinion."

"One day there will be others that share it to and they will all use the same name" Ash said relaxing against him. "They all love you, and some haven't spent all that much time with you. Of course I do understand that position. I knew the moment I met your eyes."

"I've not always had the best luck though have I?"

"Idiot," Ash said rolling her eyes.

"And how am I suddenly an idiot, woman?"

"Tell her, tell her how you feel then ask her again to express HER feelings." Ash told him, "Do that for me will you?"

"Fine fine, I'll go make a fool of myself later. I told Allison about that, she rolled her eyes at me."

Ash smirked, "Then it might be easier than I thought."

"I don't' follow"

"Allison isn't constrained by a friendship like I am. I was taken into someone's confidence and I can't divulge that confidence, even to sort you out."

"I know you to be oddly honourable, in your own way." Harry said, smiling down at her. "I don't' suppose I really needed to make this." he said waving his spare hand to encompass the park. "But some of those species are unique, best I can tell, to that universe. Seemed a shame to see them die out when it all turns off."

"Soppy bastard"

He chuckled, slinging his arm around her small form, "I love you old girl."

"I know you do, but I've had you to myself for many thousands of years, all over my time line you popped up when I needed you most and I happened to be wearing a skirt. Now I suggest you share of yourself with Allison especially, but the others too. Your sisters is super threatened by our relationship as well, so might I suggest a brother sister trip."

"As time flies it's only been a week since our last one, but I could sure go a bender." Harry noted.

"Yeah...I should take you to a meeting, Hello My Name is Harry I'm addicted to being naughty."

Harry grinned, "Oh you know I am" he said in a very different tone of voice.

"That bannister looks fairly sturdy."

Harry smiled, shifting positions.

Lunar,

The Next Day

Jamie took a long breath, held it and let it out through her nose. Finally she turned to the patiently waiting Harry and looked at him a long moment, "I should enjoy the aesthetics, or the sheer fact I'm on the moon, perhaps adopt a pet moon rock. But other than being impressed we're here for all of five seconds it is really QUITE dull brother."

He smirked, "I had a feeling you'd end up saying that, you lasted four whole minutes longer than I thought you would."

"Perhaps you have forgotten me. It's been...quite some time since you last saw me, has it not."

"Yes," he said, "But forget you...never" he said firmly. "It's that exact reason I kidnapped you so that Sherlock won't know you're gone for at least a couple of days."

"For they"

"To you it's been just over a week since we had a brother sister blast. For me...quite a lot longer, I did promise Sherlock to take him along on our next. Only we're not going to the bank, not this time and he wouldn't' be able to take part, he would be too busy examining everything to see the inherent... opportunities."

She smiled a little, "That's wet the whistle"

"Just over this next dune."

"These are quite expensive you know, and they are covered in moon dust." she complained of her calf skin boots. "It's quite pretty, but I don't want it on my boots so much."

Harry rolled his eyes, casting at her, her boots cleaning and her next step didn't mess them up again either.

"Impressive, cleaning and impervious in a single cast."

"I've had a lot of time to hone my craft a bit."

"Yes, and how long rather concerns me brother." Jamie said. "And you are suspiciously not answering that question. Tell me, now. Or I refuse to come with you."

"I am now twenty thousand and some change older" Harry said, "Come on already, another ten minutes and the orbit will take it out of view."

"Astral bodies aren't so terribly interesting to me." she noted, keeping up with him.

"This one will be." Harry said a grin on his face. "I saw it in a database on another planet I was visiting, before I left, not been there myself yet. I figured that could be part of the fun. We'll need to accrue local currency to run a decent con, and we'll need to learn enough to customize it to work with alien life forms."

Her eyes lit up, "I do like a challenge Harry" she smiled.

"I thought you'd enjoy this. There, see that twinkle."

"I see lots of pretty twinkles, and where you're pointing covers potentially millions of star systems."

"So technical, take a moment, it's a trinary system, the main star is blue, flashing aqua, with a tint of orange at the core."

"Got it"

"Right what you cannot see from here, is that star is now gone, all three are."

"Then it is a dead system."

"On the contrary. It's very much still in operation. Fifty hour days, all of them pitch black, so needless to say a lot of time is spent indoors. The ENTIRE planet, one fuck off big Casino."

"A bank!" she said with a grin.

"A really big, super rich bank with never before seen, let alone cracked by us security systems."

"There's a lot of potential for oh shit we need to run moments here. Just noting I'm wearing six inch heels."

"And...I've seen you out run me in stilettos that rated a ladder to put on."

She smiled, "True"

"So here the sticky part."

"Oh dear, I knew it was too good to be true."

"I can't teleport blind. So what we'll be doing is a variation on site to site apparition."

"I HATE that plan, everything in that plan is horrid, especially the part with being sucked through a straw and spat out a whole star system away."

"You do not want to know how far away that star system is. It will be instant, I will make sure we arrive with both your beautiful bum cheeks intact, so how about you trust me to get you onto an alien planet we could potentially fleece."

She looked t him, "Trust is not the issue, you know I don't have the best of luck arriving as I left with apparition Harry."

"Which is they I learned to teleport if you remember, and I only said it's BASED on apparition. It's line of sight, thus coming up here and walking a bit first. Travel time is pretty much instant, with how fast we'll be moving...I will protect those buttocks with my life."

She caressed her bum, "I'm quite proud of my bum, it came out well."

"I know, I have often admired your sculpted cheeks"

She laughed,. "Fine, fine...you got me at fleece."

"Okay, hold your breath and..." there was a scream that seemed to go off a long way somehow in a vacuum.

The Brownstone, New York

Five Days Later

Sherlock walked into his bedroom to hear what sounded like poker chips moving. He looked up to find Jamie reposed in sheer underwear a sexy smile on her face.

"So...he stole you didn't he. I was promised I could come too."

"This was...different darling, more a brother sister adventure than a bender" she said, holding open her arms, "Come...I've really missed you."

"You look amazing" he said moving into her arms and kissing her. Then moving back, "Why am I kneeling on poker chips."

"That's actually not a poker chip, it's hard currency, credits they're called, taken over most of the known galaxy."

Holmes shifted, "There seem to be rather a lot of them. Are we sleeping on them?"

She smiled, "Well...just...for fun" she said her eyes promising a reward if he capitulated, which he didn't even try to fight.

TARDIS (or the 'R.V'), N. Y.

Same Time

"Harry.." Allison said, "Hello first of all. But urh...I'm not sure what to say here,"

"Absolutely anything you want, with no fears of reprisal and my undivided attention when you say it. That's part of the thing of having this relationship with me, and you don't even need to say it...bad Harry! I came back, barely spent anytime with you guys and then disappeared for nearly a week. In fairness you weren't the only people I missed, I grabbed up the sis and we had ourselves a little...challenge tour."

"Your face right now, it's a cross between hellishly amused and perhaps hilariously shocked." Allison said, "And Harry...what you just said about how I can say what I want to you now...thank you that means a-lot, so...you suck you bastard, but now tell me what's amusing you so much."

"Oh no I'm not just going to blurt that out there," Harry aid, "I'm part way between wishing I could see Sherlocks face when she tells him and really more Joan's face when he tells her."

"What, you're killing me here" Allison laughed.

"Sit down, you're...going to want to be on your arse for this" Harry smirkingly said, "So...we've done the bender a lot, we didn't used to call it the same thing, but we'd go to the bank, take out some seed money...basically blow it, then go cons someone, hop some-place else, rinse repeat and you know...it's a LOT of fun. But it's been..." he paused, "A long time, since I got to do that with her. I'd like to say to you it would be great to do that with you guys, and it likely would be great. But she is...uniquely her, you get that, right?"

"Oh yes, totally, I think she's great because she's totally unique. Sherlock...he's close but he's not a woman, it's...more dangerous in the hands of a woman."

"Right, you do get it" Harry said sounding very pleased, "Anyway, so...this time I take her a little...further afield."

"So...knowing you, another planet..."

"Score the beautiful brunette" Harry smiled, "I've not been there either, but I heard about it. Essentially it's a planet sized casino, totally automated, machine based core in the centre of the planet. Security that's never been cracked, a system to catch cheats...it's safe its secure they even have their own private army."

"In other words you two were positively drooling to crack it"

"You know me remarkably well for the time we've had."

"I'm me, you're you, we...click"

"Don't we though" he smiled, "So their security, little harder to crack than we first blush believed so...that was day one, but it was mostly secure by the fact it was in a vacuum with encrypted locks that changed every second. So I sight ported us into the room bypassing the door, and my magic always provides an atmosphere for me, extending it for my sister...child's play. We were quite content to spend that day. We got in, then the place opened up like ripe fruit."

"So, you made a withdrawal from your new bank"

"Urh...sort of,"Harry laughed, "Now of course Jamie is like, you know what we have here, we have power! and rants a bit. I think I saw froth"

Allison laughed at the mental image, "Anyway it's been thousands of years so I say...okay fine, let's try it your way."

"Oh god"

"I've always maintained my sister could take over this planet. I never realized, or perhaps just applied that thinking a bit more...further afield."

"Yeah...and so she owns that planet and a share of ALL the money this planet wide super popular casino is making. Not content with that, she puts herself essentially as ruler empress of that entire system. Only thing being, those other planets not so terribly well enforced, mostly arable glow lamp crop farms. Only one of them is this type of rice." Harry laughed, "It's...I dunno how to explain this and I would LOVE to see how she explains it to Sherlock, but it gives her a strangle hold on galactic economy, that one crop. It can ONLY grow on that planet, and a LOT of money was spent to make damn sure their sun going dark didn't stop production. It's used as a biofuel that runs most faster than light engines." Harry bubbled up into laughter.

"So the casino, actually not that big a win"

Harry was going red, shaking his head. "No" he got out, "Urh...you see that old movie or read the book about Dune. He who controls the spice controls the universe...kind of quotable here" he said not having much luck not exploding into laughter.

Allison looked at him a long moment, "Harry honey...your sister the criminal mastermind, is one of the most powerful women in the entire galaxy...you find this...funny?"

"It took five days Ali" he said laughing, "FIVE DAYS, and it was a side product of us, for a lark, owning our own casino."

"Us"

"Oh she made me co-owner of the place," he shrugged.

"Wait, wait, wait a minute you failed to mention that, we've been focusing on your sister here. But you also have that control."

"I suppose"

Allison sighed, "Right...so, you are in point of fact, As powerful as your sister"

Harry stopped laughing, "You had to ruin it" he said throwing up his hands.

"Serves you right you smug bastard," Allison said laughing, "But in the plus column, no longer mad you went missing for a week, not when you come back one of the two most powerful people in this galaxy. This is an acceptable use of your time."

"Becoming a despot?"

"Sure, if you want to use a nasty word" Allison said, "I prefer...influential!" she said with gravitas.

"I like simple...uncomplicated, NO politics, that's what I like." Harry said, "It's not like I haven't been offered rule on annoyingly regular intervals. I've always avoided it. That Bitch! I bet she knew just exactly what she was doing when she put my name on that document too. She said, but Bro...you can be rich too, or, Bro...be my checks and balances" he said effecting a posh girly voice. "That sneaky underhanded little...bitch"

Allison burst into delighted laughter.

"Why are you laughing, this is going to be HELL"

"It doesn't have to be, delegate you buffoon. You're super rich, like own a super rich casino planet, hire underlings"

Harry looked at her,"I knew I picked well"

"You didn't pick...I picked buster and don't you forget it. You're a little dense for a mastermind, but it's a good job you have your looks."

"Yeah I might be a master mind, hell I flew a planet you know, but it's HER, I can't beat HER, no-one can beat my sister she's bloody abominable."

"I know one man that can beat her all the time and she'll just say...please daddy more" Allison said the last in a slutty schoolgirl voice.

"I think I hate you, just saying"

"Sure you do" Allison said, shifting into his lap her legs dangling over the side. She put one hand on her thigh and the other around her, then as she let go he sure didn't.

Brownstone, N. Y.

Later

"I will preference this by saying I would prefer to do this with no audience, and they he wanted Joan here I don't actually know." Jamie said, "But..." she laughed nervously,"He's a bit angry at me right now...so I don't like that much, so I agreed to this."

Sherlock looked at her steadily, "Who do we need to buy off" he asked.

"That...isn't an issue, I will point your attention to massive pile of currency we had...wild monkey sex on earlier."

"Yes...it was good wasn't it" Sherlock smiled.

"Oh god!" Joan said, "And you bitches, I see the phones." She said, "Those innocent looks, not fooling me when you were selected for your ability to work well with HARRY. So Innocence, not on that list, so really I find it offensive you are trying that simplistic a con on me"

"It's this or hilarious laughter," Frost said, "Take your pick!"

"Fine, fine, Jamie, drop the hammer please, so they can take the picture of whatever expression I'm about to make they think will look good on their social media"

"It doesn't matter Watson, I have Every One wipe us from that weekly, that was a...particularly inventive dare. Ode to Roger, a goldfish, five thousand words or more extolling the virtues of a pet goldfish."

Jamie burst into laughter, "They made you do that?"

"They make him do some pretty horrible stuff. They won't take any other payment" Joan smirked.

"Never you though" Sherlock noted, "My very attractive partner is never asked for a topless selfie or the alike, this room full of sweaty nerds, no they prefer to humiliate me. I find that rather...worrisome."

"I think it's hilarious" Joan remarked, "Now Jamie, let's clear the air...get this over and done with."

"Okay, band aide approach"Jamie said, "I took control of an entire planet wide casino, and in the process the entire system of planets who are scared of my security...an army that numbers millions all under my command. I am one of the richest women in the galaxy and thanks to the stupid rice on one of the planets I have effective control over faster than light travel in the entire galaxy."

Flashes went off a lot. Joan's face was worthy of it though.

"Right, that explains the currency then, I was curious about that. Seemed rather a lot to win, then...well some of it is likely unusable now."

"You're remarkably calm Sherlock."

"Well my girlfriend almost effortlessly took control of an entire galaxy." he said slowly, "Not sure how I'm supposed to respond...Well done! Comes to mind."

"I do REALLY love you" Jamie said leaning in a rewarding him with a kiss.

"Well there goes the galaxy" Joan remarked.

"Aren't you worried someone will raid you" Thea asked.

Jamie sat up laughing, "No...no one would dare risk it, any potential misses could hit the rice, losing billions of credits in crops per shell."

"It's worth that much!" Frost asked wide eyed.

"Oh yes, and urh...there is another thing, less fun for me right now as Allison...dobbed me in the bitch"

Thea looked at her, "Urh...you adore her"

"Not right now so much, no" Jamie admitted, "You see I didn't just put my name on the papers"

Sherlock stared to smile, Joan got it a moment later and had another snap worthy facial expression just before she burst into laughter. She didn't even get that blinded by the flashes this time.

"Beautiful" Sherlock said, jumping his girlfriend and kissing her stupid.

RV, Same Time

"Stop laughing you little Viking bitch or I swear I'll put you over my knee"

Ash stopped then smiled nastily, "You know what happens if you do that."

Harry swallowed,"Yes" he purred.

"With Allison sat right over there?" Ash asked looking wonderfully smug.

"There are times I wonder they I love you so much."

"Uh huh" Ash said with the same level of belief as Allison had used.

"If you're talking about what I'd do if he tried that on me...go right ahead, but don't expect me to just sit here and watch, I'm far more into audience participation in that sort of thing."

Ash shot her a smile, "I think we're on the same track dear, but...no offence you're not old enough to get in THAT ring, and really...no offence meant here, some things take practice."

"I'm now slightly insulted and very curious."

"Are you two flirting?" Harry asked with a grin.

"Yep" Allison said easily.

"Seems that way" Ash replied.

"Huh, that was not in any of the scenarios I ran on this you two meeting." Harry noted, "Arguing, cat fights, death...mayhem and destruction in most all simulations."

"You failed to take into account the fact I'm well...me" Allison said.

"Clearly, and no numbers really capture Billions of years of being her either." Harry noted, "Two wild cards...I knew it was for shit when I tried it. But time was cracking on, I was getting...nervy!"

"Ahh" Ash laughed. "Nice to know you never intended to leave me behind I suppose."

"Would I ever?" he asked like he couldn't contemplate they she'd believe that. "Just the same way I always knew I was coming back here." he said looking at Allison.

"He's still too charming for his own good."

"And occasionally very brutally honest, just a little warning there sister soul mate" Ash noted.

"Taken on board" Allison smiled, mostly at the term.

"At least you stopped laughing." he said with a grin.

"I'm holding it in, so...can I burn the planet?" Ash asked.

"NO!"

"Shame, it's the height for any race, of stupidity to be so dependant on a single source resource."

"Oh yes, but right now there is no way to do anything about that, it would take perhaps hundreds of years to develop better technology with local materials."

"So...we have plant geneticists" Allison said slowly, "They have some success in replicating and cloning plants, right."

"I see your train of thought, I like it" Ash said, "In theory you could decentralise the spice"

"It's not melange Ash" Harry laughed, "You don't take it either, it's just a vital component of the fuel. Like one part in a thousand, but without it the whole thing won't break the light barrier."

"And..." he went on, "The rice is pretty simple, I went and had a look, but it requires specific atmospheric components only found on that single planet in that single system in the entirety of known space."

"That's rubbish, terraform something to specification then"

"It this was your universe, sure...easy. The technology doesn't exist to terraform to specification in this universe."

"Well reverse invent it then you idiot" Ash said rolling her eyes.

"And make MORE money...they would I do that."

"It's not about the money Harry!" Allison said almost matching Ash move for move with the eye roll "Give it away instead, donate it to creating new worlds. Then use that technology to decentralise the rice creation."

"You do realize that would significantly drop the price."

"That's part of the point, sounds to me like space flight is too expensive, that's just stupid." Ash said, "You should make exploration as simple as logging a direction and going off into the wide black yonder."

"Alright, I follow you, I even agree. Now...get my sister to release her monopoly on the rice. Go on...I double dare you. I'll sign, but to do this...would, I suspect, take BOTH signatures, she's too sharp to miss that."

"That's that blown" Allison said.

Ash smiled, "Give me a week."

"I know you're old and super smart Ash but this is my sister!"

"You're scared of her" Ash accused.

"Damn right I am" Harry said, "Because I've got the brains god gave me. Besides it's a moot point" he said shaking his head.

"Oh...still, seriously Harry!" Allison said shaking her head.

"What have I missed."

"All she has to do is ask and he'll hand it all over to her, no questions asked." Allison said, "In theory she could have Harry kill both of us, and he'd do it."

"No" Harry said, "Huh...seems there Is a limit to that."

"I love that you said that, I do, but that's the limit right there isn't it. Hurting your two soul mates. Thea? Frost, Elena?" Allison said.

Harry frowned, mostly that she believed that.

"Oh boy" Ash said, "All the same I ran the entire universe for three hundred years, credit me with some trade craft."

"You did what," Allison asked.

"Oh I was bored, and the last MAN was making a hash of it. It's not so terribly different to running a village, not really." Ash remarked.

"Yeah...picture that a moment and go wow" Allison laughed.

"I know right" Harry commiserated. "Either way that entire thing with hurting the others, its moot. It would hurt me, and I am pretty damned sure she would never do that."

"So am I, but it's a weakness you have to see that."

"Without her I would be nothing." Harry said,"Nothing. I would never have met either of you, let alone have the power to get to either dimension. Directly her that one, snapping my wand was the best thing she ever did. There's some hella examples too, so just think on that a moment."

"I'm not convinced she did that to help." Allison said.

"No..." Harry laughed, "She perhaps didn't. But she did then turn around and by her working theory alone having me casting again in a single session. Admittedly it was just a luminous, but...not bad huh."

"I think this is the only time you ever managed to disappoint me," Ash said seriously. "You basically choose to be weak to her."

"I suppose that's one way of looking at it. I will add she's never used that to do anything...meaningful or even that dark. It's usually actually used to make me think twice, or something like making me shut up when I'm about to make a mistake."

"Which means she loves you, and that's very good news." Ash said. "But it doesn't change how I view it."

"No, I'm sorry I do understand they you would feel that."

Ash shook her head, "Damn it Harry!" she said, diving into his lap, beating Allison's exact move by one second as he had tears in his eyes.
