So, I decided to add between two to five chambers, but don't expect them to often, I honestly didn't think this far, heck, I didn't even plan chapters 6 to 10, so please don't throw stones at me for not uploading often. And your opinion matters to me, thanks for your feedback.
In this chapter Lizzie will play a major role.
It's been just two weeks since Gregor last saw his family, but surely enough, they visited, except his mom, she made it clear that she doesn't like this place.
Actually his dad was there right now with Lizzie and Boots. They arrived trough the hole in the laundry room. When they landed Gregor and Luxa were there to greet them.
"Gregor!" His dad said.
"Hi dad. Hi Lizzie and hi Boots." Gregor said.
"Don't call me 'Boots', only Ripred is allowed to use that nickname." Boots said displeased.
"Ok, jeez, don't cut my head, I have a wedding to attend in a few weeks."
"Speaking of weddings, when is yours?" Gregor's dad asked as he pointed at Gregor and Luxa.
"In two weeks." Luxa responded before Gregor could.
"Yeah, let's go to the palace." Gregor said
On the way the talk continued.
"So, Lizzie, what have you been up to?" Gregor asked.
"Actually, a lot, even though I'm only thirteen, I have been accepted in a advanced engineering course. If I'm lucky, next year I'll go straight to college."
"And I thought things here could change overnight." Gregor said a little surprised.
"How about you?" She asked.
"Not much, all we had to do was announce our union and select a new council, since the last one was tried for treason."
"Wow, that it's still something." Lizzie said.
Not a word was said until they reached the palace. Were Howard was waiting.
"I heard that you were the one that opposed their wedding the most, is that right?" Lizzie asked.
"I have always supported it, but I was afraid that the people of Regalia would not, so I tried to protect them, looks like I didn't have to."Howard said.
"Oh." Lizzie got out.
"But I do not support where Gregor sleeps." Howard said as he glared at Gregor.
"Where does he sleep?" Gregor's dad asked.
"We should get to the dining room, It's almost lunchtime!" Gregor said, hoping that that subject wouldn't come up later.
"I almost forgot, Lizzie, take this." Gregor said as he handed his phone to Lizzie. "We have no electricity here, so that thing is basically useless."
"Not unless I get some power to it." Lizzie said.
"If you have an external battery, just remember, the phone will die again shortly." Gregor said.
"No, what I mean is, what if we made a power generator?"
"Do you know how to make? Because no one here does."
"Remember that advanced engineering course I told you about?"
"Right, and making generators is considered basic engineering?" Gregor asked.
"Actually yes." Lizzie responded. (A/N I have no idea if I am correct or not)
"What materials do you need?" Gregor asked.
"All I need is a metal rod, a cable and a metal sheet. I can get all of that stuff from the Overland."
"Thanks, Lizzie." Gregor said.
"I'll be back later. Um, Luxa? Can someone take me to the Overland?"
"Yes, just go to the high hall and ask a bat to take you."
"Ok, thanks."Lizzie said as she left the room.
"So, dad, how is everyone?" Gregor asked.
"They bought the story of you going to Europe. Almost everyone, there are a few of your classmates that find it strange." Gregor's dad said.
"What do you mean?" Gregor asked.
"I mean that you left with Andrew and Chuck for a week and out of nowhere, they return and you go to Europe." Gregor's dad said.
"They can not check, can they?" Luxa asked.
"Nah, not really." Gregor's dad said.
"I hope that won't be a problem later." Gregor said.
"We'll talk later, now let us eat." Luxa said. Gregor gave her a look that said 'thank you'.
Later
"Dad how long do you want to stay?"
"Only one day." Gregor's dad said."However, Lizzie might stay for longer if she wants to build your generator."
"Speaking of, is she back?" Luxa asked.
"I don't know." Gregor said. "Let's check!"
They went to the High hall, where Lizzie was just arriving on a bat, with some bags on her.
"You need any help with those?" Gregor asked.
"No, thanks, I can handle them." Lizzie said.
"Do you remember how to get to the dock underneath the palace?" Gregor's dad asked.
In a few hours the generator was ready. And after some more minutes Gregor's phone was charging.
"Thanks Lizzie, but why did you do this? I mean we have no signal here, so you can't just call us." Gregor said. "But I can listen music, so I guess it wasn't totally useless."
"But still, I got a chance to put my skills to use."
"So I guess this is goodbye, at least until the wedding." Gregor's dad said.
Gregor and Luxa led them to the entrance and said goodbye. Right after Gregor's dad, Lizzie and boots left, Luxa spoke up. "We need to plan our wedding."
"Yeah, yeah we do."
This is chapter eleven, I know, I know, I said that chapter ten was the last, but as I said, your opinion matters.
