Fate/Kyon's Order

A Haruhi Suzumiya & Fate/Grand Order Crossover

Part 12: Showdown in Nishinomiya(2)

*Inside North High*

"Nagato!" Kyon cried upon seeing his girlfriend bound and gagged. Asakura was standing nearby, her face turning contrite when she saw her fellow student. "I can't believe you let Kimidori-san go through with this, Asakura-san...!"

"It was Archer's plan. No one wants to defy Gilgamesh," Ryoko shook her head. "Even Kimidori-san herself is not willing to push back too hard... And don't think of trying to untie her. Those are the Chains of Heaven, capable of binding the gods themselves, or so Archer claims..."

"In that case, I hope Dantes takes that bastard down good and hard..." Kyon muttered as he reached over and undid Yuki's gag. "Nagato, are you okay? Other than being tied up, I mean..."

"I-I'm not hurt," Yuki gasped. "The chains are really tight, so it's hard to breathe..."

"...Okay, let me try something," Kyon grunted as he pulled out Rule Breaker. (This thing probably won't cut the chains, but...) Finding a spot where he wouldn't stab Yuki by mistake, Kyon thrust the jagged blade into the chains-

A sound like thunder was heard, and Kyon was sent sprawling backwards, Rule Breaker shattering upon impact with the far wall. "Oww... well, that didn't work..."

"I tried to tell you," Ryoko lamented. But just then, the chains began to retract of their own accord! "Huh? What's going on...?"

*Back outside...*

"Stand still, filthy mongrel!" Gilgamesh yelled in frustration as he fired more weapons from his Gate of Babylon, Dantes easily avoiding them!

"You can only fire those things in a straight line, can't you?" Dantes taunted. "Makes them easy to dodge!" He then flash-stepped right in front of Gil, blasting him point-blank with dark energy and cracking his golden armor!

"Then try these!" Gilgamesh grunted as he stumbled backwards, more portals opening up in front of him... but this time, several chains shot out with intent to restrain the avenger! However, Dantes was still able to dodge the attack, though he had to retreat a fair distance. "Not so cocky now, are you mongrel?"

"You're the cocky one, Gilgamesh!" Dantes retorted as he fired dark blasts from a distance, Gilgamesh barely avoiding the assault by spinning aside, though one still grazed his shoulder, leaving another gash in his armor! "I haven't even gone all-out yet!"

"Nor have I!" Gil shot back. "But only because Master forbids me to destroy her school!"

"All the destructive power in the world means nothing if you can't hit your target!" Dantes declared as he flash-stepped into close range and blasted his adversary again, quickly retreating before the Chains of Heaven could catch him! "And once your armor is gone, nothing will save you from my wrath!"

*Iskandar's Reality Marble*

"Men, halt!" Iskandar ordered, the army ceasing their assault. Only Koizumi, Ritsuka and Mash were still standing, Haruhi and Yuki laying on the ground with severe wounds in their leg and chest respectively, the other servants having faded away. "You lot lasted longer than I expected, but it's pretty much over now! Now kneel and swear unending loyalty to me, the King of Conquerors!"

"I will do no such thing," Yuki spoke up, abruptly standing straight and regenerating her wound. "Kyrielight, are you uninjured?"

"Just a few scratches," Mash grunted.

"Come now," Iskandar crossed his arms and shook his head, "you think you two servants alone can prevail against my army? After we've slain all the others?"

"Incorrect," Yuki stated. "What you slew were nothing but illusions- solid light holograms. Did you not notice that your army was actually unaffected by Mordred's Clarent Blood Arthur? Because she was never there to begin with. And neither are they." With a tap of her staff, Ritsuka, Koizumi and Haruhi faded away.

"What?!" Iskandar gasped. "You cowards dare to play games with me?!"

"Did you really think that Fujimaru-san, having knowledge of your Reality Marble, would just put himself in a position where he was helpless against your army?" Yuki asked rhetorically. "In fact, it is you and your army that are helpless. Look into the sky, King of Conquerors, and see your defeat come upon you. Let us go, Kyrielight." With that, she took Mash's arm, the two vanishing in a flash of light.

"Into the sky...?" Iskandar grunted in confusion, he and his men looking skyward...

*Near planet Venus...*

"You fools~," Ishtar chuckled, her eyes glowing golden, "You'll never see this coming... Annihilate them! An Gal Tā Kigal Shē!" the concept of Venus was converted into a massive energy arrow that streaked down towards Earth- specifically towards the front lawn of North High that was engulfed by the Reality Marble.

Iskandar's army screamed in terror as their doom bore down upon them, the entire lot of them being utterly annihilated! When the dust settled, only Iskandar himself remained, his steed having collapsed, the man himself rendered topless from his armor and cape being destroyed as well. "Impossible..." he rasped as his Reality Marble collapsed. "Where did... that come from..."

"NOW!" Ritsuka's voice cried out, Medusa suddenly charging through the front gate on Bellerophon, hitting Iskandar dead-on and causing him to tumble backwards into the school wall! Cu Chulainn and Mordred charged in next, their weapons at the ready! Righting himself, Iskandar managed to deflect Mordred's blade with his short sword, only to get lanced through by Gae Bolg, pining him to the wall!

"Death By A Thousand Cuts!" Yuki intoned as she reappeared, Iskandar getting cut several times with multiple book pages, the pages then transforming into metal spears and skewering him in several vital points, before simultaneously detonating!

"Rider!" Tsuruya cried as she ran over to her servant, who was now slumped against the wall, starting to fade away.

"Sorry, kid... it's over for me," Iskandar rasped. "But... it was fun while it lasted... good job, Caster..." With that he collapsed into golden dust which faded into nothingness.

"Wow, nice job, Yuki," Haruhi said as she and Koizumi walked into the front yard for real. "And remind me never to get on Ishtar's bad side..."

"Forgive me, Tsuruya-san... I bear no ill will toward you personally, but it had to be done," Yuki commented.

"Argh! You didn't have to be so mega brutal about its!" Tsuruya yelled at her, tears threatening the corners of her eyes. Yuki just walked over and grabbed the greenette in an awkward embrace, Tsuruya returning the hug as she sobbed into the other woman's shoulder, the two falling to their knees...

*Back with Gilgamesh and Dantes...*

The bright light from Ishtar's ultimate attack was easily visible from the other side of the school, Dantes turning to look... "What the hell was that?!"

(Now!) Gilgamesh thought, his Chains of Heaven lashing out and catching the avenger unawares, wrapping around his arms and legs before pulling taut! "You let your guard down, mongrel!"

"Excellent work, Archer!" Kimidori complimented as she emerged from the back door. "Now finish him before something else happens!"

"Gladly, Master!" Gilgamesh grinned as several spears and sword shot from his gate, impaling Dantes several times over, the avenger fading away soon after. "That's what you get for defying the king!"

"Is that so?" Dante's voice suddenly echoed from apparently everywhere. "Did you catch me off guard, Gilgamesh...? Or did you, in fact, fall right into my trap?"

"Wha-?!" Kimidori looked around frantically. "Where is that coming from?!"

"Everywhere," came the response, as several copies of the Count emerged from the dark sky! "I told you I hadn't gone all out, hadn't I? But now I am!"

"Wh-what is the meaning of this?!" Gilgamesh cried in shock.

"Your death, King of Heroes!" Dantes declared as his copies each charged up dark energy... "Enfer Château d'If!" Gilgamesh screamed in agony as he was mercilessly blasted from multiple angles! Once the attack had finished, the archer collapsed to the ground, utterly defeated.

"How... could a mere... mongrel, get the better of me...?!" Gilgamesh rasped before fading away.

"Archer!" Kimidori cried in disbelief. "Impossible...! How could Gilgamesh lose?!"

"He might have had a chance of victory had he gone all-out from the beginning," Dantes stated as his copies merged back into one. "It was his arrogance that was his undoing, just like those who left me to rot in an island prison back when I was alive..." Setting down in front of Kimidori, he then said, "I may as well introduce myself... You would know me as the Count of Monte Cristo."

"Edmond Dantes?!" Kimidori gasped. "But... you didn't have this kind of power in your novel!"

"It is the treasure of Monte Cristo that grants me this power," Dantes explained. "Now if you will excuse me, I must go and rejoin my Master..." Just then, Kyon and Yuki ran out of the door, gasping for breath!

"Nagato, Kyon, what is it?!" Kimidori turned to face them.

"Berserker!" Kyon gasped, "he came outta nowhere and killed Asakura...!"

"What?!" Kimidori screeched in disbelief.

"Damn," Dantes grimaced, "so much for no bloodshed... you three, get out of here! I'll handle Lancelot..."

"No," another voice spoke, "you won't." Dantes then cried out in pain as he was suddenly assaulted from behind!

"That's-! It can't be...!" Kimidori cried, she and the others looking on in disbelief at Dantes' attacker...

*To be continued...*
