Ash's New Adventure Chapter: 10
HEYYY, I'm publishing this on Monday cuz of Thanksgiving and how I don't have school that day (I write my stories on school days). Also, a little over 3,000 views, thank you! I hope you are enjoying reading this story as much as I'm enjoying writing this story. So, without further ado, here's the next chapter :-)
"A Keystone, huh," said Diantha, "why would that be a good gift for Serena?"
"Because she has a Mawile, a Mawlite, but no keystone, and she has searched around Hoenn for one, but never found one," replied Ash
"Is that the entire reason, she doesn't have one?" asked Diantha
"Well, it will make me happy also," replied Ash, "It will feel good to help her. Really, I want to help her and make her happy."
"Hmmm, that seems like an honest answer, I'll see what I can do," said Diantha
"Thank you so much!" replied Ash
"No problem"
The phone was then hung up.
Ash then walked back towards the classroom where he saw everyone about to go towards his direction.
"What happened," asked Ash
"Just want to know what you were doing," replied Kiawe, "and also, Ash, in anime, it is never good to leave your love interest behind, it might form an inverse harem where everyone is trying to win her over"
"What are you even talking about," asked Ash
"Don't mind Kiawe," said Mallow, "he is such a weeb that he thinks of everything that happened in real life to work like an anime."
"Yeah," said Lana, "once, before you came to Alola, he said that us three girls were part of his harem, or something."
"That was a long time ago, I was stupid then," said Kiawe
"It was 2 days before Ash came here," said Mallow
"Well anyway," said Ash, "Serena and I should get going, we need to be at Kukui's house before dark."
"Ahhh, it's ok Ash," said Mallow, "You two can go while the three of us can knock some sense into Kiawe"
"Wait, what about me," said Sophocles
"Sophocles, this is between us girls and Kiawe, can you kindly go invent something?" asked Mallow
"Yes Ma'am," said Sophocles
So, while the Alolan Pokegirls were scolding Kiawe with his weeb mind (weeb means someone who is obsessed with anime and manga btw) Ash and Serena returned to Kukui's house. Immediately as Serena came in, Burnet pulled her into a separate room.
"So…how did it go?" asked Burnet while holding both her hands up
"It went extremely well, he said yes, that he will go out with me," replied Serena
"YES!" Exclaimed Burnet, "How did he react"
"He said yes, but then something strange happened"
"What?"
"A rainbow-colored feather that he keeps in his backpack started glowing"
"Huh, a rainbow-colored feather. Serena, sorry, this was supposed to be about your romance with Ash, but it seems that something is very out of the ordinary."
"Oh, really?"
"Yes, can you try to ask Ash to let us borrow the feather for a bit to research it?"
"I'll try"
So, Burnet and Serena left the room and joined Ash and Kukui in dinner.
"Kukui, ash, couldn't you have waited for us before you started eating?" asked Burnet
"Nope," they both replied, then Ash continued, "we are hungry, and you were busy, food before others"
"Oh yeah Ash," said Burnet, "I heard from Serena that you will go on a date with her"
"Hehe, yes, but we didn't decide when…wait, Serena how bout tomorrow evening?" asked Ash, "hope it isn't too sudden"
"Umm, sure, but why tomorrow specifically?" asked Serena
"It is a surprise," Ash answered with a grin
"Also, Ash, Burnet asked me about something," said Serena
Ash cocked his head and asked, "what?"
"You know about your rainbow feather"
"Yes"
"Professor Burnet would like to study it"
"umm, ok, but why?"
"Ask Burnet"
"Burnet, what is so interesting about the feather," asked Ash while talking it out
"Ash, that feather is the Rainbow Wing, it is connected to the Jhoto legendary Pokémon called Ho-Oh
"COOL!" exclaimed Ash with twinkles in his eyes, "when will I meet him"
Burnet started giggling
"What is so funny?" asked Ash
"You already met him, at the time you got the feather," replied Burnet
"Wait, so you are saying that it is that strange looking bird?" asked Ash
"This is what he looks like," said Burnet while showing a picture of a statue of Ho-Oh
"Yes, I did see him!" exclaimed Ash
"Well, that shows something," said Burnet, "Now Ash go and eat dinner, you have a date tomorrow"
"Oh yeah, Serena, I have no clue on what to do tomorrow," said Ash
"Ash, they what will we do?" asked Serena
"Let's wing it," said Ash while rubbing his nose
"ummm, ok," replied Serena
So, Ash and Serena went to separate rooms to sleep. Ash prepared a surprise gift for Serena already, and you the reader already know that it is (A/N: a 4th wall break O_O). But, Serena wants to surprise Ash too, so she was thinking of what do give Ash.
"Huh, what should I give Ash. I want to give him something to show him love, but I don't know what," said Serena to herself
Just then, Braixen jumped out of her pokeball.
"Braixen, do you have any idea?" asked Serena
"Brai-Xen!" said Braixen energetically while pointing her stick towards something
"Serena looked there, and hugged Braixen, "You are a genius."
