The Crystal Gems - Rose Quartz, Garnet and Amethyst - are a team of magical beings who are the self-appointed guardians of the universe. Half-human, half-Gem hero Steven is the "little brother" of the group, and though he gradually learns how to use the powers that come from his forehead gem, he's constantly living in the shadow of his mother and leader of the Gem Rebellion, Pearl.

Hello everyone! So I just got an email a while ago from a reader confused about the huge time skips in the story! I don't intend to leave it that way - what's going on is I'll update this book along with my other Steven Universe AUs as I work through prompts. Eg. when I complete the prompt for Mirror Gem for, say, the Blue!Connie AU, I'll also post that chapter for the PearlPlus!AU, Opal!AU, and Roulette (this one) - with the relevant details altered for each, of course. Hope that clears things up a little!
