Chapter 10 The First Weapon , Ice Queen Duel
It's a beautiful morning in Duel City, everyone is waking up in their bedroom. Outside the beach Osiris connect Kira from the spirit world to locate the other three weapons and it did.
"Where is the first weapon Kira?" said Osiris talking to Kira in mind links
"At the mountain far from Duel City, Yumi is the only one can sense its power." said Kira
"Thank you Kira, I can't believe that you gave Yumi a weapon." said Osiris
"It's best to use it only if the strong villian show up." said Kira
"And the other two?" said Osiris
"The other two is unknown, I'll let you know." said Kira as she went to find the other weapons
Inside the beach house, Yumi awake find herself alone til Atem walk in and push her on the bed kissing her lips.
"About time you awake my love." whisper Atem as Yumi blush
"Well I'm not a morning person like you." smirk Yumi as she push him and gets on top of him kissing his lips
"You remind me of someone who's not a morning person." said Atem as Yumi gets off her boyfriend and sit on the bed
"Like who?" confused Yumi
"Like Yugi, he's not a morning person." said Atem as the two started laugh about it
"I'm taking you and Yugi are alike?" said Yumi
"Well almost alike, except he's got Tea and I got you." said Atem as he kiss her again
"So now what? about our future?" said Yumi as Atem look at her
"Sense we started dating for three months, I think that we should get to see how are we going further." said Atem
"Like how further?" confused Yumi as Atem pull her closely
"You see Yumi, you see." whisper Atem as he kiss her more til the door knock
"Yumi, Atem can you two come out please? Osiris knows the location of the first weapon." said Jaden as the couple look at each other and they nod
Everyone is downstairs where Osiris is waiting for them, Yumi and Atem sit next to each other while the others came downstairs as well.
"Now that everyone is here, let's talk about the weapon that Kira found." said Osiris
"Where is it, Grandpa?" said Yumi
"At the mountain far from Duel City, but it's guard by one of the shadow creatures." said Osiris as everyone is shocked
"What kind of creature?" confused Yusei
"A creature can control of snow storm called the Ice Queen." said Osiris
"An Ice Queen?" confused Emma
"Yes, but get pass by the Ice Queen won't be easy." said Osiris
"If the Ice Queen is control of ice, then fire must be her weakness." said Lizzy
"True, but she can blow the fire away if you have a strong fire monster." said Osiris as everyone nod at him
Then Vicki walk in with the necklace that Osiris gave it to her.
"Yumi, you gonna need this." said Vicki as she remove the necklace and gave it to Yumi
"Grandma, but why?" confused Yumi
"This necklace can teleport you to find the weapons, plus Osiris gave to me as a gift." said Vicki as Yumi is shocked
"Are you sure?" confused Yumi as Vicki nod
"Now you'll used it Yumi, but it's best for someone can go with you." said Osiris as everyone look at each other
"I'll go with her." said Atem
"Me too." said Mina
"So am I." said Jaden
"Thanks guys." said Yumi as the necklace begin to glow and teleport Yumi, Atem, Jaden and Mina to go to the mountain and it's cold and snowy
"I almost forgot the coats." Shaking Jaden as Yumi and Mina used their mark to change their clothes into winter clothes to keep them warm
"That's better. Now let's go find the weapon." said Mina as they walk on top of the mountain
They arrive at the mountain and found a cave and theirs the Ice Queen Guarded the weapon. The Ice Queen saw them and started attack them til she saw Yumi with spirit power.
"That power where did you get it?" confused Ice Queen
"I was born with it, and I'm the granddaughter of Osiris himself." said Yumi as the Ice Queen is shocked
"I didn't know Osiris has a granddaughter, I'm sorry for attack you and your friends." apologies Ice Queen
"That's ok, Osiris told us that you can control of Ice and snow." said Mina
"I did, but if you want the weapon that I guarded, you have to beat me in a duel." smirk Ice Queen as Yumi and the others are shocked
"Are you serious?" shocked Jaden
"I'm serious. Now which one of you will duel me?" smirk Ice Queen
"I'll be your opponent." said Mina as Yumi shocked
"Mina are you sure?" said Yumi
"I'm sure, Yumi. Trust me." said Mina as she activated her duel disk while the Ice queen used her power to create her ice duel disk
"Let's go, Rush Duel." both said as the field barrier appear
"I'll go first, I summon three Ice Barrier to the field." said Ice Queen as she summon Dewdark, Dance Princess and Shock Trooper of the Ice Barrier to the field.
"Ice Barrier monsters?" said Mina
"That right, my deck is full of Ice Barrier. I set two cards and end my turn." said Ice Queen
"It's my turn I draw, I summon my three dragons to the field." said Mina as she summon two Masked Dragon and Flamvell Guard
As Mina summon her dragons, Alex appear in front of them with her Ice Monsters.
"Well well well, It seems that theirs a weapon inside the cave." smirk Alex
"Yumi, you and Atem keep Alex busy I'll stay with Mina." said Jaden as the two nod and transform into Armor Magician and Cure Slifer
The Ice Queen is shocked to see the couple transform and begin to understand as the duel continues.
"I sacrifice both my Masked Dragon to summon Tyrant Dragon." said Mina as she summon one of her powerful dragon
"Go Tyrant Dragon attack her Dance Princess." said Mina as her dragon attack but it stopped
"Sorry Mina, I activated my trap Negate Attack." said Ice Queen as Mina shocked
"In that's a case I set two cards and end my turn." said Mina
Outside the duel Slifer and Magician manages to destroyed Alex's monsters and it's making her angry.
"In that case I'll froze one of you." smirk Alex as she target at Armor Magician and she freeze him and it's making Slifer so angry
"How dare you, you'll pay for that!" yelled Slifer as she power up her spirit power and this time in flames
"Oh no!" nervous Alex
"Flame Magic!" yelled Slifer as she attack Alex and defrost her boyfriend as she did Armor Magician is exhausted
"I'm out of here." scared Alex as she escape
Yumi and Atem return to normal and she run towards him, she's sighs of relief.
"Are you ok?" worried Yumi
"I am, Thanks Yumi." said Atem as he kiss her lips
"What about you, Yumi? Your power got flames on it." worried Atem
"I'll be ok, I'm guessing I got myself a fire magic within me." said Yumi as Atem hugged her
"Let's go back to Mina and Jaden." said Atem as Yumi nod
Back at the duel between the Ice Queen and Mina, Jaden is getting worried that Mina will lose the duel but he had this feelings for her. Ice Queen has her Synchro monster Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier with her life points is 2000 while Mina as Tyrant Dragon and Blue-Eyes White Dragon, her life points is 500.
"I guess your weak Mina." smirk Ice Queen as Mina's spirit power is awaken in front of her and Jaden
"Not for long I draw. I overlay both my dragons to XYZ summon White-Eyes Lightning Dragon." said Mina as she summon her strongest dragon on the field
"That's your strongest dragon?" nervous Ice Queen
"It is, Thanks to Yumi who gave it to me. But first things first, I activated a spell card heavy storm to destroyed all spells and traps on both fields." said Mina as both spells and traps are destroyed
"When my trap card is destroyed I can activated it from my graveyard called Dragon of the Haunted, It allow me to special summon a dragon from my extra deck, come on out Trident Dragon." said Mina as she special summon her another strongest dragon to the field
"This can't be." nervous Ice Queen as Yumi and Atem arrive just in time to see Mina's two strongest dragons and her spirit power is fully awaken
"Mina, your spirit power is fully awake." shocked Yumi as Mina look at her blue aura within her body
"I can feel it, my spirit power. I can finally understand why I was chosen as Cure Obelisk. Go White-Eyes attack her Trishula." yelled Mina as her dragon destroyed Ice Queen's dragon
"It's over now, Go Trident Dragon attack her directly and end this duel." said Mina as her dragon attack the Ice Queen directly bring down her life points to zero
The duel is over, Mina won the duel til the weapon behind the Ice Queen is glowing and it floating towards Mina, as she touch it the weapon change into a fan/axe on both side.
"This weapon is now yours Mina, used it for good." said Ice Queen
"Thank you Ice Queen. But your leaving?" confused Mina
"No I'll be your partner Mina, so you can used me and my Ice Barrier monsters." said Ice Queen as she turn into a card and slip into her own deck and land it on Mina's hand
Mina is happy that the Ice Queen is now on their side, then Yumi used the necklace to open the portal and enter back to the beach where everyone is waiting from them.
"What happen?" said Osiris
"We got the weapon before Alex can get it." said Mina as everyone is shocked
"We'll have to find the other two before Grim's minions does." said Osiris as they nod and went inside where Vicki made some soup for them
As night falls, Mina is in her room looking at her new deck thinking that she'll used it whenever she need it, til her door knock as she open the door it was Jaden.
"Jaden, what are you doing up?" confused Mina
"I couldn't sleep. May I come in?" said Jaden as Mina nod and he enter her room and close the door
"Sorry I just couldn't see you take damage while you duel against the Ice Queen." said Jaden as Mina sit next to him
"You don't have to worry about me Jaden." said Mina as Jaden pull her close to him
"You remind me of Alexis when she was taking damages, I don't want you to suffer the same fate as her's." said Jaden as he press his lips on Mina's
Mina's eyes are wide when Jaden kiss her. She slowly kiss him back don't want this Alexis to get jealous, they broke the kiss as Mina's face turn red a bit
"What about Alexis? You like her don't you?" sad Mina as Jaden lift her chin up
"I did, but she's with Zane. Now I got a real girlfriend and it's you Mina." said Jaden as he kiss her again this time passionate kiss
In the other room Yumi's mark is glowing and can tell that Mina got herself a boyfriend and it's Jaden that she can feel it, she's happy that Mina is with Jaden til Atem wrap his arms around her shoulders.
"What is it Yumi?" confused Atem
"Mina got herself a boyfriend and it's Jaden." said Yumi
"I guess we got ourselves more couples like us." smirk Atem as he carry Yumi to their bed and kiss her lips deeper
"I love you Atem." whisper Yumi
"I love you too Yumi." whisper Atem as they go to sleep together
How's that for the new couples and Mina's new weapon. The next chapter is gonna be two different locations of the other 2 weapons. See ya soon
