Here the story starts
(Flashback starts)
Jethalal has started his own electronic shop 🏪 just few months ago. He was married to Daya a year ago. They have just moved to Gokuldham society just few weeks ago. One Saturday afternoon, Jethalal was working in his godown and suddenly his phone 📱 rings and he answers the call without looking. Jethalal say
Jethalal - Ha Daya tell me
Daya - How did you know it is me who is calling you (shocked 😲)
Jethalal - Expect you who is there to call me. Now tell me why did you call me
Daya - When you come home buy some raw mangoes
Jethalal - Why?
Daya - I want to make raw mango pickle
Jethalal - 🆗, do you want something else?
Daya - No.
Jethalal cut the call and start his work again. At Gada house, Daya was sitting on the couch and rub her stomach and had a smile 😀 and say to herself
Daya - Today I will make his favourite food and tell him to good news. I'm sure he will be very much happy
Daya went to kitchen to make Jethalal's favourite dinner. At night 🌃, Jethalal comes home very much tired and hungry. Jethalal calls for his wife
Jethalal - Daya... Daya
Daya - Arre aap aaye
Jethalal - Here is your raw mangoes, (giving her a bag of raw mangoes) serve the dinner I'm very much hungry
Daya - Get freshen up, I will serve the dinner.
At dinner table, Jethalal was surprised to see all his favourite foods and calls his wife and ask
Jethalal - Why have you made all of my favourite dishes?
Daya - You work very hard for both of us so I thought let's make your favourite food for dinner
Jethalal - 🆗
While both having dinner, Daya say
Daya - Don't you think that we should make a baby room?
Jethalal - Daya we have just bought this house so we have to wait for a while to have a child
Daya - But what if I say I'm going to be a mother to our child then I would you do?
Jethalal - I would be glad to have a child in this house but I think we should wait until we get settled here
Daya - 🆗!
Jethalal - Why are you asking me this type of question
Daya - Just like that.
After dinner in kitchen, Daya take bowl full of sweet and say to herself
Daya - Daya it's time to say your husband about the good news.
Daya went to hall and gives the bowl to Jethalal and Jethalal see her confused 😕 ask
Jethalal - Sweets?
Jethalal see the sweet and something was written on it and he reads it carefully 'Hello papa' and this confuses him more so he call his wife and ask
Jethalal - Daya what is all this? (still confused 😕)
Daya sit beside him and say
Daya - We are going to have a child in our house
Jethalal - Kya?
Daya - We are going to be parents
Jethalal was shocked that he did not talk for few minutes. Daya was enjoying his expressions because she knew he will react like this. Daya keeps her hand ️ on his cheek and say
Daya - I'm saying the truth, we are going to have a small baby in our house
Jethalal - When did you come to know?
Daya - After you went to work.
Jethalal - Did you tell babuji or your maa? (happily 😀)
Daya - Nahi, Komal bhabhi has booked an appointment for us to her friend doctor. After the check up, we'll tell everybody
Jethalal - Theek hai
The next day, at evening, Jethalal came home early and ask
Jethalal - What did the doctor say?
Daya - It's confirmed that we are going to be parents
Jethalal - Let's tell babuji
Daya - Theek hai
Jethalal calls his father Champaklal and ask
Jethalal - Babuji can you hear me
Champaklal - Ha bolo Jetha
Jethalal - Babuji aap dada ji banne wale hai
Champaklal - Kya?
Jethalal - Ha babuji, aap dada ji banne wale hai (happily 😀)
Champaklal - Wah Jetha bohot khush khabar bola hai tum ne
Jethalal - Talk to Daya (giving the phone 📱 to Daya)
Daya - Namaste babuji
Champaklal - Jeete raho beta. Tumne and Jetha ne bohot acha aur khush khabar diya hai. Take care of yourself and I will try to come there as soon as possible
Daya - 🆗 babuji
Champaklal - Give the phone 📱 to Jetha
Daya goes the phone 📱 to Jethalal and went to her room to call her mother. Jethalal say
Jethalal - Bole babuji
Champaklal - Dhek Jetha, take care of my bahu and my grandchild carefully
Jethalal - 🆗 babuji
Jethalal ended the call and see Daya talking to her mother. After few minutes later, Jethalal talk to his mother-in-law and his brother-in-law.

Jethalal just smile 😊 and he can never the beautiful news that he was going to become a father. He remember the day when Daya had her godh bharaee and she had to go to Ahmedabad.
(Flashback starts)
Daya was six months pregnant and Champaklal was living with them to help them. In Gada house, it was godh bharaee day for Daya. All the mahila mandal were helping Daya to get ready while Champaklal and Jethalal were taking care of the guests. In Daya's room, Daya was wearing a green colour saree with little bit of makeup. Anjali keep a kala tika behind Daya's ear and say
Anjali - Eske bur nazaar na laage (smiling 😀)
Suddenly Daya hear
Mysterious voice - Behenna (excitedly)
Daya turns around and sees her brother Sundarlal and gets excited and they hug each other and did their childhood thing which Jethalal stopped by coming in between them and say
Jethalal - Oh bhai Sundar be careful (seeing his brother-in-law) and what Daya you also get excited after seeing him (seeing his wife)
Daya - Solly (smiling 😀) Sundar where's maa? (seeing her brother)
Sundarlal - Maa will be coming soon
Jethalal - Saasu maa is not coming? (shocked 😲)
Sundarlal - Maa is coming but she will come a little bit late
Daya - Kyu?
Sundarlal - Maa has went to temples. She said she wants to see Gods before seeing you
Daya - 🆗
The function started after few minutes later. After half an hour later, Daya's mother join the function. Daya was very much happy 😀 to see her mother after a very long time. Daya's mother comes near her daughter and bless her and gives her prasad and gives the prasad to her son and tells him to give everyone. Sundarlal gives prasad to everyone and at last he gives prasad to Jethalal and say
Sundarlal - I told you she will come jeejaji
Jethalal - If Daya is happy then nothing for me
At night 🌃 at train station, Daya was crying 😢 and Jethalal say
Jethalal - Arre Daya why are you crying?
Daya - I'm worried about you and babuji, I mean what will you eat and other stuff
Jethalal - Don't worry about us, we'll manage everything
Daya's mother comes to them and say
Daya's mother - Daya beta it is time to get in the train
Daya - Coming maa
Daya's mother went to her son and makes him to get in the train and she went to talk to Champaklal. After 🔟 minutes later, Daya gets in the train with her mother and sit in her place and the train starts to move and Jethalal say
Jethalal - Take care of yourself and don't worry about us. Call me whenever you want and take your medicines on time and don't stress yourself
Jethalal see the train until it dissappear. After Jethalal and Champaklal came home, Champaklal went to sleep. Jethalal went to his room and started to feel lonely without Daya but at the same time he can't wait to see his baby.
(Flashback ends)
Jethalal can't forget the day when his daughter was born and he first time held her in his arms.
(Flashback starts)
Jethalal and Daya were talking on the phone 📱 on lunchtime for Jethalal. Jethalal ask
Jethalal - Had lunch?
Daya - Ha.
Jethalal - What did you have for lunch?
Daya - Dal Dhokli, Dhokla, Aam Shrikhand, Gujarati Kadhi and Gujarati Samosa
Jethalal - This much you had for lunch (shocked 😲)
Daya - Maa didn't leave me out of her sight until I finished everything. Aap ne kya khaya?
Jethalal - I had Dahi Vada, Samosa and Jalebi aur Fafda
Daya's mother comes to Daya with a glass of lassi and say
Daya's mother - Daya jaldi se ye lassi piyo aur Sundar ki saath park jao
Daya - Theek hai maa
Daya's mother went out for Akshardham temple. Daya talks to Jethalal while drinking the lassi. After 20 minutes later, Daya ends the call and she went walking to park with her brother Sundarlal. In Ahmedabad, Daya and Sundarlal were walking 🚶 and Sundarlal was talking on the phone 📱 to his friend. Suddenly Daya felt a sharp pain in her belly but she felt relief soon because the pain was gone. After 🔟 minutes she felt the same pain so she hold on to Sundarlal and he ask
Sundarlal - Kya hua behenna?
Daya nodes her head no because the pain was gone but after 🔟 minutes, she again felt the pain and hold Sundarlal's hand ️ and keeps her other hand ️ on her nine months belly and say
Daya - Main baithana chaahata hoon
Sundarlal - Yahan baatijao (making her to sit on a bench)
Sundarlal gives her little bit of water to drink and makes her to relax a bit and then he asks
Sundarlal - Kya hua behenna? (worried)
Daya - Kuch nahi Veera
Sundarlal - Behenna tell me the truth
Daya - Kuch bhi nahi Veera. Chalo ab ghar chalte hain
Sundarlal - Theek hai
Daya gets up and felt the same pain again but it was too much painful that she scream in pain while holding her belly. Sundarlal holds her and makes her to sit on the bench. Sundarlal say
Sundarlal - What is wrong? (worried)
Daya - I think I'm going in labour. Veera call maa and tell her to come home
Sundarlal - You sit here, I will be back
🔟 minutes later, Sundarlal comes back to her and say
Sundarlal - Come on behenna
Sundarlal helps Daya to sit in the taxi 🚖 and he also sits with her and close the door and told the driver to drive home. Sundarlal calls his mother but her phone 📱 comes switch off 📴. He tries to call again and again but the result is same. After 15 minutes later, his call connects to his mother and he say
Sundarlal - Maa behenna ko dard hona shuru hogai hai
Daya's mother - Take her home, I'm coming. Give the phone 📱 to her
Sundarlal gives the phone 📱 to Daya and she say
Daya - Maa it's paining aahh.. Alot (crying 😢)
Daya's mother - Daya breath slowly and I'm coming home
After 🔟 minutes later, they reached home 🏡 and to Sundarlal relief, his mother's close friends were there to take care of Daya. They take Daya in the house and they tell Sundarlal to stay out. After 🔟 minutes later, his mother comes to him and say
Daya's mother - Daamaad call karke boldo
Sundarlal - Theek hai maa
Daya's mother goes in to the house to be with her daughter. Sundarlal calls Jethalal and Jethalal attends the call and he say
Jethalal - Ha bolo Sundar
Sundarlal - Behenna has got her labour pain
Jethalal - But the due date is a week later... (worried) 🆗 I'm coming to Ahmedabad
Before Sundarlal can say anything Jethalal ends the call and switch off 📴 his phone 📱 because he did not want to hear anything from anyone. In Mumbai in Gada electronics shop, Jethalal see his manager Natu kaka and say
Jethalal - Natu kaka, take care of the dukaan and take the keys with you after locking it
Natu kaka - Are you going somewhere?
Jethalal - Ha, I'm leaving for Ahmedabad
Natu kaka - Kyu seth ji?
Jethalal - Woh Daya ka dard shuru hogi hai
Natu kaka - Beta ya beti?
Jethalal - Pata nahi. I'm leaving for Ahmedabad so remember what I told you
Natu kaka - Don't worry about here, I will take of everything
Jethalal went home and Champaklal call him and say
Champaklal - Jetha you won't go to Ahmedabad
Jethalal - But babu ji...?
Champaklal - I'm also coming with you to Ahmedabad. Sundar called here and told me about Daya bahu
Jethalal - Theek hai babu ji (smiling 😀)
They both pack some baby clothes which they have bought and they both went to airport and bought business class tickets 🎫and got in the aeroplane ✈. After two ✌️ and half hours later, they both were waiting in front of Daya's house. The three boys (Sundarlal, Champaklal and Jethalal) were waiting for news about Daya. Jethalal was checking the time every now and then. After an hour later, they hear a crying sound and suddenly it started to rain heavily ️ and Daya's mother open the door 🚪 and smilingly 😀 say
Daya's mother - Rajkumari has born. I have got a granddaughter
Champaklal - Badhaee ho Jetha, mere ko pote hogya (happily 😀)
Daya's mother - Come in and see the baby (smiling 😀)
They all went in the house and went in to Daya's room where she was laying on the bed and beside her was a small crib and in the crib was a just born baby 👶 who was actively moving and looking here and there. Daya's mother picks up the her granddaughter and gives her to Jethalal and say
Daya's mother - Here is your daughter daamaad ji
Jethalal holds his daughter who was wrapped in a soft blue blanket. He kiss his daughter's cheeks and see his smiling 😃 daughter. He gives his daughter to Champaklal and see his father pampering his daughter. After half an hour later, Daya wakes up and drinks a fruit juice which her mother gave her and leaves the room. Jethalal sit beside her and kiss on her head and ask
Jethalal - How are you feeling now?
Daya - Theek hu par...
Jethalal - Par kya Daya?
Daya - You wanted a son
Jethalal - Pagal aurat! (slightly slapping on the head and hugs her) For me both are same. I'm so glad that I'm father for a daughter now. I feel like my maa has been born as my daughter.
Daya - Woh kaise hai?
Jethalal - She is sleeping 😴 peacefully.
Daya - Did you think of a name?
Jethalal - Do you remember that my mother once us what she would name our child?
Daya - Aap ko kaise pata chala that I was thinking the same name (surprise 😲)
Jethalal - So shall we tell our family about it?
Daya - Ha
They called Daya's mother, Sundarlal and Champaklal in Daya's room. Champaklal ask
Champaklal - Kya hua Jetha, sab theek hai na? (worried)
Jethalal - Sab theek hai. We have chosen the name for the baby 👶
Sundarlal - Kya naam hai? (excitedly)
Daya - Khushi (holding her daughter)
Daya's mother - Arre wah, what a beautiful name
Few months later, Daya brings Khushi to Gokuldham society and they started a 🆕 chapter of their lives.

Jethalal just smile 😊 with tears in his eyes and keeps his head on the headrest of the couch. Champaklal comes to hall to drink some water and see his son sitting like that and immediately understood, what he was thinking. Champaklal sit beside Jethalal and softly calls him and Jethalal see his father and ask
Jethalal - Kuch chahiye kya babu ji?
Champaklal - Thinking about Khushi?
Jethalal - Ha... Bohot jaldi chala gayi (wiping his tears) I still can't believe that she is no more with us. I had lots of plans for her and lots of dreams. Her collage, her further studies, her marriage and her other stuffs.
Champaklal know how his son is suffering because he knew how close his son and granddaughter were. He say
Champaklal - Jetha go and take some rest, it's already very much late at night 🌃
Jethalal - Hmmm... Theek hai babu ji
Champaklal see his son goes to his room. He went to dining table and drink a glass of water and see his granddaughter's photo on the wall and he say
Champaklal - I wish you were still with us (sadly)
Champaklal went to his room and sleep 😴.
