Authors note:
I'm proud of myself for starting this story in the first place, I mean the first chapter was really short and small, like 1000 words but most of the chapters are like 2000-3000 words now. I honestly didn't think I can write a lot like that and I'm surprised that I actually did all of this and got this far.
Also, I didn't know that I wrote 4000+ words yesterday but I'm proud of myself. I kinda got finger cramps while I type all of this but honestly once I upload this chapter I'm taking a long break because of how much I wrote in one day. I honestly thought that this story was going down the drain but the fact that people actually read this, makes me extremely happy and want me to continue.
But every once in a while you gotta just take a break every once in awhile, probably once I post this chapter I'm taking a 2-4 day break from this story and after that I'm going straight back to writing the story. Enough being said, let's get this chapter started!

I opened my eyes to see a bright light in my eyes. "Gah!" I got up immediately rubbing my eyes. "That was incredibly painful." As I looked around my surroundings I grabbed my phone to see what time it is. "8:30.. Friday.." I got up to make some coffee to get myself ready for today.
As I finished doing so I took a sip from my cup feeling energized, I looked around the house and saw that it was kind of a mess. I ran around the house cleaning everything up. As I was cleaning I heard a few footsteps, seeing Naomi walking down stairs.
"I see that you're up and early." I heard her say, as I kept running around with high speed. I stopped in front of her.
"Of course, why wouldn't I?" She saw me run around even more cleaning up the place till I stopped. "Are we going to talk about yesterday or no?" I spoke up looking at her as I saw her face red.
"D-do you want to.." I shrugged and ran upstairs heading to my room to wake up Callistra. As I opened the door I saw her sleeping peacefully having Pixy right next to her. "Callistra, wake up."
I saw her mumble about saying that she's sorry or something like that, I poked her nose with mine having her slowly open her eyes. Callistra shot up immediately and yelled at me. "What are you doing here?!"
"Don't you remember? You are in my room first of all." She looked left and right and her ears drooped. "Sorry.. That I yelled at you.." She looked away from me, I patted her head. "It's alright, I'm not mad at ya, just get ready for school." I walked out of the room looking to where I put my weapon.
Naomi walked behind me and tapped my shoulder as I looked behind. "Do you need something?" I asked her with a confused face, Naomi gave me a look that told me she wanted to ask me something.
"Are you going to be okay today..?" I waved that question off, and replied. "Callistra asked that question throughout monday, of course I'll be fine." As I grabbed my satchel that was next to the couch.
"But are you sure? You are going up against someone who has a massive advantage against you, him having the typing and the rivalry ability." Naomi touched my shoulder with a face of concern.
I sighed and got up holding two bracelet's containing my weapons but she didn't know. "I wouldn't torchic out now, it's been four days since that incident." I went to the kitchen so I could grab the lunch I just made.
"Is that for Callistra?" Naomi said, sounding a bit jealous, I nodded at her as she pouted. I sighed and grabbed my own lunch and gave it to her. "There, you happy now?" Naomi looked at me shocked, shaking her head. "I can't take this! This is your lunch.."
I gave my lunch to her anyway, she didn't know what to say except. "Thank you…" Naomi smiled gently as Callistra walked down stairs. "I'm gonna go head out now." Callistra said as she was walking outside.
"Naomi, you can wait outside I gotta do something at the moment." Naomi nodded at me and walked outside talking to Callistra. I ran upstairs to check on Pixy in my room. As I checked I still saw her sleeping peacefully. I sighed and smiled, ran back outside to carry Naomi to school.
As I was outside I saw Callistra wave goodbye to Naomi and got on her bike to get to school. "Are you ready Naomi?" She nodded as I picked her up and I ran all the way to school. It took 10 minutes instead of 8 since Naomi wanted to get food.
As we arrived at school early I dropped Naomi off. "Thank you again Zenith, for the ride." Naomi giggled and opened her phone to text her friends. I sighed and looked around to find a place to try out my new weapon.
But before I got the chance the buses arrived I sighed and went back to the front school heading inside the doors. Till the announcements happened once again. "Alright everybody! Welcome to a new day at Enigma Growth High! We have the same schedule as every other day. Clubs are not closed for today." I ignored the announcements since it wasn't important or anything having to do with me.
I felt something strange as I looked around my surroundings looking for somebody.I couldn't find Alfred in sight but I was guessing that he's sick today. As I kept walking I headed to my math class being stopped by Garv.
I facepalmed mentally and sighed. "What do you want? We are fighting after school not now." I got a feeling that he wanted to fight now due to the face that he's giving me. "This is your last chance shrimp, torchic out or lose." I shrugged and went passed him
"Better luck next time if you wanna threaten me." I walked off heading to my class as I disappeared into the crowd. I heard him yell out to fight him right now but I just headed to math. I walked over to my spot in the back once again seeing that Callistra sat next to me again while having Togami to walk over to me.
"So are you up for the big fight soon?" Togami asked me as I nodded. "It doesn't matter, I'll win anyway." I said with confidence, Togami laughed as he patted me on the back. "Sounds like the old you! That's great!" Togami smiled, I decided to chuckle due to how this brings me nostalgic to the old times.
"Tell the others to meet up at the cafeteria at my table when it's lunch alright?" Togami nodded and headed off back to his seat. Callistra looked at me with confusion. "What just happened?" I got my posture back to normal; looking at her. "Just good old times. In middle school."
"Should I even know what you guys did or not..?" I shrugged, and smiled at Callistra. "That's a story for another time, alright?" Callistra was still confused but nodded at my answer.
The bell rang as everyone sat in their seats and listened. Boring really once again, I heard a bunch of whispers of students who would win, most of the votes were to Garv just because of advantages and so on. The other classes were boring as well till I went into Advisory.
As a daily option I sat at the back table once again. A few minutes later I see Naomi and her friends again talking to each other as she waved her friends goodbye heading over to my table. I face palmed as Naomi came over to my table, smiling right at me. "Hiya there Zenith~" As
My eyes immediately opened to her seductive voice. "Naomi don't use Attract on me. You already have a boyfriend." Naomi pouted at me and was shocked. "I'm surprised that you know what move I used. Secondly I told you I don't really love my boyfriend anymore."
I rolled my eyes, and looked at her once more. "Well, why are you using Attract on me first of all?" Naomi pouted and didn't look me in the eyes. "What is it?" I asked her, having my voice in concern. She didn't respond to me at all afterwards, so I just shrugged it off.
I looked at the front as Naomi looked at me shocked. "So you aren't going to say anything?" I rolled my eyes and looked at her. "You didn't answer me, so I gave up already" I scratched my head as I said that. Naomi sighed and smiled and looked away.
A few minutes of silence, class ended once again having me walk out of the room. The other classes were boring till lunch arrived. I went over to sit at my table having Alfred and the others to join me, I looked at Alfred and he didn't seem too happy. "Where were you Alfred? You weren't in math class."
He frowned at me but smiled. "What happened was that I just missed the bus, my mom dropped me off at school." I nodded at Alfred as I saw my other friends walking to the table. "Heya there Zenith!" Togami asked me as I nodded once again.
As everybody talked and so on it went on as a normal day. Till I saw an argument against Garv and Naomi, there was constant yelling at each other. I didn't know what exactly happened but I looked away. All I heard is these few words. "You are cheating on me!" From Garv.
I sighed and waited. "Zenith I'd be guessing this you're doing." Jonathan said, I just shrugged and Ignored Jonathan. As the drama started to die down, the day went by but a little bit of silence and a few other pokemon still whispering on who would be the winner.
As school ended I was the last one who walked out of school as I saw a whole bunch of students crowding at the front door staring at me. I sighed and walked over to the battle arena, having to see Garv in front of me. Having rage clearly on his face I heard a few words come from him. "You are going to lose everything here."
I shrugged, I saw all my friends from the sidelines cheering me on, but I heard a few pokemon cheering Garv on. I laughed and smacked my head, I got a few stares from other pokemon, having their phones out to record the battle. I sighed and smirked at Garv. "I'd like to see you try." My gauntlets appeared from my paws as I saw Garv have his axe out.
I kept smiling, removing my glasses and placing it in my satchel, equipping my focus sash covering my eyes. Dropping my satchel right next to me. "Come at me." Garv running straight at me, attacking me with his axe. I ran behind him having to check my gauntlets since I've never used these before. "You are too slow." I smiled at him as he was filled with rage. "Get back here!" He yelled at me as he launched another attack with his axe.
"I gotta dodge his attacks, he has the type advantage and can double the attack with rivalry." As I kept running around I checked my gauntlets to see what they have in store. I had 5 forms in total; Explosion, Claw, Range, Spring. The last form was strange as it was called 'weight of the world.' I shrugged it off and decided to use the first form. "Explosion." I whispered quietly.
"Poison Jab!" I heard Garv yell, having his blade having a purple neon color. "Well that isn't good.." He kept waving his axe around like a barbarian, crazy isn't it? "Are you going to keep waving that around or not?" Garv kept waving his axe around, his axe stuck the moment he slashed down at the ground. An opening.
I ran in front of him as soon and punched him once in the stomach with my gauntlets. Having gunpowder coming out of my gauntlets pushing Garv back. I felt a bit of recoil having to damage myself a bit. "I'd better keep that in mind that hurts me quite a bit.." The pain wasn't so harsh but enough to feel it. "Spring." Once again my gauntlets changed.
"Let's see what this form does.." Garv got his posture and looked at me and smiled. "Earthquake!" I was shocked at what move he was going already, there was no way to escape till I looked at my gauntlets. A few other pokemon were panicking and fleeing from the scene. "Come on let's do this!" I placed my paws on the ground hoping it would do something.
I closed my eyes preparing for impact till I felt the wind in my face. I was a few feet in the sky, avoiding the earthquake I smiled and took advantage of this opportunity. "Surf!" Out of nowhere a huge wave of water came from the ground as I surfed on it. "Try this on for size!" Garv was shocked by what I did, the Surf got a direct critical hit on Garv as I got off the massive wave of water it disperses.
Garv got back up looking like he's still intact. I grinned as I ran around him. "Range!" the form of the gauntlets changed one more time, the gauntlets got replaced by blasters that had a design of a flintlock. "Come on! I'm just getting started!" I shot my flintlocks and reloaded once again, having myself wide opened.
Garv smiled and ran straight at me. "Megahorn!" A Lot of pokemon were cheering for Garv to get a critical hit on me, as I got hit I felt the massive pain coming from my chest. After the megahorn hitted I got pushed into the tree having more pain coming from my back. I checked my gauntlets to see how much health I had, having 30 in total.
"I've gotta play this safe.." As I finished reloading my flintlocks I heard Garv running straight at me with his axe having Poison Jab on it. I dodged it once again as I was exhausted but I picked myself up and absorbed the pain. I shot my flintlock once again getting a critical hit on Garv. "How's that noggin of yours?" I mocked him.
Garv was mad once again using the earthquake once again. I used spring to dodge it once again. But as I hit the floor I heard a few words from Garv. "Horn drill!" I looked behind, facing a horn drill to my torso. "You've lost! I'm level 53, there's no way you can surv-" I moved my body and took a look at him "H-how are you able.."
"He really is stupid.." My focus sash fell off revealing my pair of eyes. Red eyes, striking fear into Garv. "Did you really forget about my focus sash?" I smirked at him grabbing Garv with my gauntlets and removing them from my paws, saying my gauntlets final form. "Weight of the World!" Laughing like a maniac.
"What the-" Out of nowhere Garv immediately fell down feeling pressured, the ground beneath him was breaking apart slowly. "Shame.. I didn't get to use the rest of the forms.." I heard Garv grunting trying to get up but kept being pulled down feeling the pain on his shoulders.
"Do you not understand? 'Weight of the world' I honestly didn't think it would actually do this." I laughed as other pokemon began to fear me. "Give up." Garv was in fear but he wouldn't give up in his pride, I sighed and looked at him with pity. "Shame really.. I thought you would forfeit.. Oh well. Reversal!" I was about to punch Garv with all my might till I was stopped by three pokemon.
"Zenith stop this!" Callistra shouted out. "Zenith this isn't like you!" Naomi tried to convince me. "Zenith, you've already won the battle." Togami restrained me. I sighed and looked at Garv stopping my Reversal. "This is just a warning. The next time you mess with me or any of my friends. You will face the consequences, you got that?"
Garv nodded and whimpered. "Weight of the world." Suddenly Garv felt the weight vanish and got up. My friends got off me as my vision slowly started to fade. "I'm so tired…" Having trouble standing I fell down, fainting. being caught by Togami.
"Can anybody tell me what happened!?" Callistra yelled confused and worried about Zenith. "I don't know! He wasn't himself!" Naomi shouted out, Alfred and the others ran over to check on Zenith. Me, Lex, Julius, and Akuma knew what happened but we didn't say anything.
Callistra looked at me and had a face that could put the move 'scary face' into shame. "Togami! You know this! What happened to Zenith?!" I didn't give her direct eye contact, feeling that Zenith will kill me if I tell her anything. I got back to my normal posture and gave her a serious look. "I don't know what you are talking about."
"Togami I'm being serious here! Zenith is going to faint! He's at 1 HP because of that horn drill!" Callistra wont stop yelling, surprising to the other pokemon that were spectating they thought Callistra would be worrying about Garv instead of Zenith. Some understand why she was worrying for Zenith because of him getting hit by a horn drill.
Garv felt so much shame due to how little the time it took Zenith to defeat him. Garv knew the deal between Naomi and him, others tried to speak with him as his friends walked beside him. "If I tell you both, promise me you wont tell Zenith alright?"
Naomi whispered to Callistra, a few seconds later they both nodded confirming whatever they said to each other. "Deal." They both synchronized. "Okay I'll tell the story once we get Zenith somewhere safe." There were many pokemon surrounding us, Lex and Julius told these pokemon to back off and give some space.
"Where are we going?" Callistra said I shrugged as everybody was shocked. "What? I'm not good with making plans." Naomi sighed. "Well we might as well go to Callistra's house since literally she has a bigger home to fit all of us." As the Sylveon rubbed her eyes with her ribbons. "It's going to take us a while isn't it?" Lex spoke up, having Callistra to nod.
"We might as well get on walking." Jonathan said, as we all looked behind seeing Callistra friends behind us. "Callistra why are you going with that Pikachu?" Justin said with a confused tone as Lucy and Michael nodded behind him. "First of all, his name is Zenith. Secondly I have to go with him because he's my responsibility."
"How is he your responsibility?!" Michael spoke up seemingly that he doesn't enjoy this. "Exactly! How is he your responsibility?! You don't even like him, not even the slightest!" Lucy spoke up, I saw Callistra's fist closing noticing that she was a bit angry but cooled off. Only a few seconds later Naomi's friends were here behind Callistra's friends.
"Naomi! Why are you going with them? We gotta do things with Garv!" Naomi looked at Anna strangely as Alfred spoke up, seeing that he doesn't seem like this and was confused at this point. "Hold on everybody! We need to confirm how many of us are going with Zenith to Callistra's house!"
Jonathan facepalmed and was annoyed by this. "Why can't we call an ambulance?!" Everybody looked at Jonathan, taking a few seconds of thought and agreeing on it. "You can't!" I spoke up being the spokesperson. "Why so?" Alfred said knowing that calling an ambulance is the better idea. "Use your heads! When was Zenith's eyes so red?! Clearly he isn't himself!"
"And your point is..?" Justin asked me why obviously. "Think about it, Zenith's eyes go red all of the sudden having some random gauntlets he doesn't own!" Everybody still wasn't with me on the same page, Callistra spoke up having a question to me. "You know something we don't? Am I right?" I looked away rubbing my other arm with my right. Callistra patted my back with sympathy. "We are all worried for Zenith except for my friends and Naomi's as well. But we gotta know the truth."
I sighed and looked at them taking my sunglasses off. "Fine, you want the truth? Zenith isn't like one of us." Everybody was confused on what I meant. "What do you mean..?" Anna spoke up, as I sighed. "I mean, he wasn't born exactly like us.." Justin rubbed his eyes. "Just get on with the point." Justin said re clearing my statement.
"Zenith is one of the pokemon that can use more than two weapons, meaning he has more than two pokemon living in him." Everybody gave me a look that obviously told me that they didn't believe me. "I'm telling the truth! But he isn't like the others."
"Wait, you said 'one' of the pokemon. So you are saying there is more!?" Naomi spoke up shocked. I sighed and placed my sunglasses back on my face, I looked at Zenith's body. "Maybe it's better if Zenith explained it to you all, but I'll tell you all this. There are different kinds of pokemon that we do not know yet."
"D-do you mean t-those myths..?" Ruby spoke up softly as I nodded. "What myth?" Lucy said in confusion. "T-there's pokemon w-who can evolve and d-devolve.." Ruby flushed in embarrassment that everybody looked at her. "Togami just tell us." I sighed and looked at my friends as they nodded.
There are four types of pokemon. "The pokemon who can Mega evolve without a Mega stone is one of them." I pointed at Lex the Gallade as he mega evolved without a mega stone. Everybody was shocked at the Mega Gallade standing in front of them.
"The second pokemon is who can use two weapons at once." I pointed at Julius as he brought out a shield and a sword. Shocking everybody except Callistra and her friends. "We've seen somebody done that before." I looked at them as I thought of the news. "You mean Raichu in the news?" All four of them nodded as I understood them.
"The third pokemon that can change their typing." I pointed at Akuma having him change his typing into steel having a solid body of a gengar. Then switching his typing into a fire type. And once again shocking everybody in the group. "Then what's the last pokemon?" Alfred and Jonathan said at the same time, they looked at each other "Jinx!"
"Well, the last pokemon is who can evolve and devolve. Who would you guess that can do that?" Everybody pointed at me as I nodded, switching my evolution into a Swampert. "I don't really like being a Swampert since of how slow I am, but if I gotta do it then you know I would." Naomi was confused on the entire pokemon and myth thing but she did ask one more question.
"If you guys are talking about that then what category is Zenith?" I coughed as all my friends and I switched back to normal. "The thing is, we don't know what category he's in." Anna scratched her head and looked at Lex. "What do you guys mean?" Lex shrugged as the others did as well.
"We don't know, he's a different category than all of us. A new discovery, that's why Zenith is so important to keep alive." Callistra looked at me with a suspicious look. "So what? Zenith is some kind of object now?!" I shaked my hands and did the same thing with my head. "No no, if he knows that he is a new discovery then he would test things on himself."
Jonathan and Alfred panted heavily as they both did many times of Jinx then Jonathan spoke up. "We should just call an ambulance.." I sighed and finally agreed on it. "We need to protect Zenith of all costs, he's our number one objective." Justin, Michael, and Lucy agreed on it. "When did you guys care so much about Zenith?" Callistra asked her friends.
"Well if there's a new discovery, then there's going to be history that's going to be made." Anna and Ruby agreed on that too. "If we want to be a part of something great, we might as well help." Michael spoke up adding to Justin's statement. "But you guys said you hate him." Naomi said to Justin and the others. Justin shrugged and rolled his eyes.
"We'll get over it. We just need Zenith's permission." I sighed and got that over with. "Let's just call the hospital already." Everybody nodded as I called the ambulance to arrive to pick up Zenith. "I just hope he will be okay.." Naomi patted Callistra's back and smiled. "Don't worry he'll be okay." I smiled at them getting along with everybody else.
As the ambulance came to pick up Zenith everybody called their homes to make sure that their parent's don't worry about them. "What do we do now..?" Anna asked as everybody shrugged. "First thing's first we gotta do some research about the past." Everybody groaned on that except for Ruby.
"Zenith wouldn't let us join him anyway." Callistra spoke up and sighed, I looked at her confused. "What do you mean?" I asked Callistra as everybody left to go home. "He already has a partner at home." I shaked my head and looked at her. "He lives with you?" She nodded and sighed. "I should get going now, I'll see you later then."
I nodded at her as everybody splitted up to go to their homes. I smiled as I looked up. "I guess this is the new generation. If Callistra did say that Zenith has a partner that makes 16 in total." I sighed as I looked behind me to see everybody gone. "The legend is true then.."
And that's a wrap everybody! Well I'll be taking my break from this story for a few days and will be working on a new story! Also I'm working on a cover for this story so stay tuned for that as well!
Man.. It's been two weeks and this is how far I've gotten into this nonsense story. When chapter 12 arrives, everything is time skipped to October 20. Yeah I know it doesn't make sense but I do what I do what's best for this story.
Also I hope you guys enjoyed my new writing style. I'm trying to improve on writing new styles and improving my art to make covers for my weird fanfics! Anyways I'd like to shout out to a couple of friends and people that have been supporting me since the beginning.
