"Mr. Verma is my father." Kavin says and look at her face to see her reaction but Purvi didn't say anything and look at him without any emotion.
"Mr. Verma is my father and my twin brother is Dushyant. My parents-" Kavin started to tell her everything but stop when he feels her hands slipping away from his. Kavin look at Purvi and saw her leaning back and look away.
"So this was all a lie? Huh?" Purvi whisper and look back at him as she waved her hand between him and her. Kavin swallow as he saw her eyes light red before he shake his head.
"No, this is real, Purvi. I do love you and I really want you in my life. I know, I made a mistake by hiding it to you but I know if I had tell you earlier then you would get it all wrong that time because you were caught with so much problems. I never wanted to lie to you. Please trust me." Kavin says and tried to grabbed her hand but his heart break seeing her going away from him.
"Trust you? Kavin, I never asked you to give all your time to me. I never asked you to put me before your job or your family. Heck I never asked you to help me, it was you who came to help me and I really appreciate it but in return I only asked you one thing and that is never lie to me. But you did. You lied to me when you asked me to be your friend and you lied to me when you asked for a chance!" Purvi yelled making him flinch back in surprised. Purvi look away from him and a take deep breath.
"Kavin, since my childhood until now, my life is mostly based on lies and that was the reason that I don't want you to lie to me because I want to do a fresh start with you, but you ruined the chance for me to be happy for once in my life. You ruined it Kavin. You break my heart. You break my trust. You make me realise that being love by someone is not for me." Purvi says and look at him with glistening eyes. Kavin heart clench as he saw pain in her eyes because of him. He feels his throats tightning up as he saw a few tears fall from her eyes.
"P-Purvi please. You promised to hear me out first. I am admitting that I made a big mistake but please don't do that to me. Please." Kavin chocked up and his eyes gets wet as well as he saw her shaking her head. Purvi look away and take a few shaky deep breaths to control herself.
"I am sorry Kavin but I don't think I would be able to believe you again. Just go away from my life and never come back. I hate you." Purvi says and look at him. Kavin eyes widened when he heard her and saw haterd in her eyes for him. He wanted to open his mouth and wanted to stop her as he saw her exiting his car, but he feels like someone caught him from saying anything. Seeing her go he feels like someone pierce a sharp knife through his heart.
"Purvi." Kavin whisper as he was about to open the door but stop when something grip his forearm.
"Kavin, what's wrong? Are you okay? You're sweating too much." Kavin heard and look at the passenger seat to see the person who just tell him to never see her again, sitting across him with a confused look.
"Purvi?" Kavin whisper her name again with a confused frown on his face. He look around and saw they were still in parking. He sigh and feel his throats dry. He leaned back on his seat and close his thanking to god that he was just thinking how she would react. He know he would go insane if Purvi really react that way. Kavin mentally shake his head.
'I can't tell her the truth. I can't risk of losing her. I have to find another way to tell her about my family.' Kavin thought and open his eyes when he feels a hand gently rubbing his left shoulder.
"Are you okay?" Purvi repeat her question when she saw his eyes is now focusing more then before. Kavin take a deep breath and nodded slowly.
"Y-Yeah. It is just..." Kavin trailed off not knowing what to say. "Lets forget about it. I think you should go now. It is quiet late." Kavin was surprised to see the time. It was almost 11.
"But you were going to tell me something important." Purvi told him and frown in confused when he nervously look away from her.
"I-It is not that important right now. I will tell you some other time." Kavin says with a nervousness smile. Purvi nodded slowly unsure if he is really okay.
"Uh... Why don't you come upstairs and we will have some hot chocolate? Beside, you didn't look like you could drive right now." Purvi suggest. Kavin look at her and nodded accepting her offer.
"Okay." Kavin says making Purvi smile and they both exit the car together. Kavin press the lock button on his keys as they walk toward the elevator.
"Go in the living room and I will make drink after I changed my cloths." Purvi says as they step in the apartment. Kavin nodded and walk in living room with a frown as he saw all the light off. He walk toward Anaya room and press his ear to the door to check if she is here or not.
"She is gone out at dinner with her boyfriend parents." Kavin jumped when he heard a voice and turned to face Purvi. He smile nervously and rub the back of his neck as he get caught red handed.
"Oh, Okay." Kavin says knowing that parents means his Mom. They both walk away from there and toward the kitchen. Kavin sit on a stool by the counter and saw as Purvi walk around to grab the things before she started to prepare the drink.
"Do you want drink in living room or in balcony?" Purvi asked after a minutes of silence. Kavin look at her and shrugged rubbing his hands together.
"Both are fine with me." Kavin says as Purvi poured the hot chocolate in the cups before putting some whip cream and mini marshmallows on top. She place the cups in a small tray.
"Living room it is." Purvi says with a small smile and pick up the tray before walking out with Kavin following behind her.
"I am so tired today." Kavin couldn't stop himself from saying it as he sits on the couch and leaned back. Purvi smile slightly and nodded with me.
"I do agree, it tiring." Purvi says and cautiously take a sip not to burn her tongue. Purvi look as Kavin pick up his cup as well. "So, tell me about your parents." Purvi request caused him to chocked as he was carefully taking a sip of the sweet beverage.
"My parents? You want to know about my parents?" Kavin asked her and swallow nervously when she nodded slowly.
"Yeah, I want to know about them. I want to meet them just like Anaya meet them." Purvi told him. Kavin sigh and look away from her gaze.
"Purvi, my parents aren't like any other parent." Kavin says looking back at her. Purvi nodded and take another sip from her drink.
"I bet they aren't. You do tell me that they are separated but I want to more about your family." Purvi shrugged. Kavin look down at the cup in his hand and unconsciously his left hand fingers started to move around the brim of the cup.
"My parents..." Kavin trailed off as he find word to explain her. Taking a deep breath he started to tell her everything from start.
"They married 24 years ago because their parents forced them. When they were in their late 20s they start dating and were on top of their careers. A few months later they were expecting twins but my father wasn't happy about it because as the news spread in the business industry his company shares started to go down and to bring them up and maintain his reputation he had to married my mother." Kavin told her one part of his parents story that he heard from his mother Nandini, when her husband decide to take their younger son custody.
"After my brother and were born, Mom take a break from her career and started take care of us with our grandparents from both side. Our never let us feel that Dad didn't really love us but we kind of know because we both heard Dad arguing with Mom. When my brother and I were around 10, our grandparents from our Dad side died and everything started to fall apart. Mom tried her best not to fight with Dad in front of us but one night she had enough when she saw Dad bringing another woman in the house." Kavin eyes find hers as he tell her the second part of the story and saw her looking at him with a sad yet frowning face.
"That night was the last I saw my Dad. Mom takes us away and started to live with her parents. She also filed for divorce and put all her power to get the custody of her twins but Dad was more powerful and he take away my brother to make him a heir of his business after he retired." Kavin end the story of his parents without really giving her any hint of Mr. Verma being his father.
"How could a father and a husband do like that to his children and wife? I understand that he wasn't ready to be a father but still whatever happen between them wasn't all because of your mother. He is equal in that as well. I know it may not right to say it but your father never loved your mother in the first place. He was just looking to pass some time." Purvi says bluntly making him nod with a shrug.
"I guess you are right." Kavin says and look at his half empty cup. He look back at Purvi and smile slightly at her weird act.
"What?" Purvi asked as she take out another marshmallow from her cup and pop it in her mouth. Kavin shake his head and finish off his drink before putting the cup on the coffee table.
"Anyways, what is your Dad name? You said he is run a company that means he must be a business man." Purvi says. Kavin look at her and swallow nervously. Purvi look at him confused and wait for him to answer. Kavin open his mouth to make an excuse but a ring stop him.
"I will be back." Kavin says as he take out his ringing phone from his pocket. Kavin stood up and walk away looking at the caller ID.
"Unknown number again." Kavin mumble when he didn't recognize the number. He sigh and pick it up.
"Hello?" Kavin walk in kitchen and leaned against the counter bar.
"Hello?" Kavin says a bit loudly. His voice was loud enough to make Purvi turn her head in his direction. She stood up and take the empty cups with her.
"What's wrong?" Purvi asked as she step in kitchen. Kavin look at her and shake his head before cutting the call.
"I don't know. I have been receiving calls from an unknown number from the past few days but no one speaks up." Kavin told her quietly. Purvi frown and put the cups in the sink before walking toward him. Kavin smile slightly as she wrap her arms around him and put her chin on his chest to look up at him.
"Someone dial up by mistake. Don't think about it too much." Purvi whisper making him nod. Kavin put his phone away and wrapped his arms around her as well and close his eyes as Purvi adjust her head under his jaw. They softly rock back and forth in silence.
"So, when will I get to meet your mother?" Purvi asked. Kavin open his eyes with a sigh.
"Soon. I need to handle a few important things then I will take you to meet her. But I am to warn you beforehand that my Mom is a little bit of crazy. Not crazy like that. It is just that, I never really had any girlfriend before so it will be her first time meeting a woman who makes her son run after her." Kavin told her. Purvi pulled back when she heard his last sentence and shake her head.
"Hey, I didn't make you didn't run after me. It was all a coincidence." Purvi says but a little bit did she know that he came after her.
"Coincidence. Right!" Kavin rolled his eyes. "It was you who did some sort of magic on me that I couldn't get you out of my mind. And if you think that the meeting at pizza place a few weeks ago is a coincidence that you are wrong, Ms. Mathur. It was me who asked your best friend to fix a meeting between us." Kavin smirk at her shocked look as he revealed it to her that he called up Anaya one night to set a meeting.
"That little sneaky woman. I am not going to leave her this easily." Purvi mumble as she think about Anaya involved in this.
"You are not going to do anything because honestly, I don't regret it but I can't say the same about you." Kavin comment make her roll her eyes at her boyfriend.
"I don't regret it either Mr." Purvi says and take out her phone when it buzzed in her jeans pocket. It was Anaya message saying that she will be late and sleep if she is home before her.
"I think you should leave now. It is getting late." Purvi says as she notice the time on her phone. Purvi look up at Kavin when he tighten his arms around her and shake his head.
"I don't want to leave yet." Kavin says making Purvi smile as she put her phone back.
"And why you don't want to leave?" Purvi asked raising her eye brow and circled her arms around his neck standing on her toes. Kavin smirk as he notice her reaction.
"Because I want to complete the final step of ending our first date." Kavin whisper as he slowly leaned down.
"And what is that?" Purvi asked in a whisper and swallow nervously when she feels his breath hitting on her lips. Kavin look at her face and saw her accepting the closeness.
"Kissing your girlfriend." This was all Kavin says before he close the gap and gently pressing his lips against her as he close his eyes.
Purvi take a deep breath and release it slowly as she melt into the kiss. It was slow and gently kiss as their lips move in sync. Purvi one hand play with his hairs on the back of his neck while her other hand gripped the lapel of his denim jacket. Kavin softly bite her lips and smirk when he heard a low moan escaping from her before gently rubbing his hand on her back.
"I love you." Kavin whisper breathlessly when they pulled back for some air and rest his forehead against her. Purvi smile and blush closing her eyes when she heard his confession of love.
"I love you too." Purvi whisper back making him smile. Purvi sigh silently as she rest her face on the side of his neck and feel safe in arms.

Tell me in reviews, if I should make a separate story that will let you all know all about the upcoming stories and updates regarding to the on going stories or you want me to post it when I will start working on it gradually.
