Chapter 11 – A Fairy Tail Wizard.

It's been half a year since Kazuki had left Fairy Tail, and in that time, the Blood-Spirals had made themselves aware. The cult had destroyed every dark guild that wasn't under their oath. They were preparing for something big, the attacks were all vicious, bloodied corpses every, some of them chewed, the cult's forces seemed to include cannibals.

In a café, sitting on his own was Kazuki, reading the latest exploits of sorcerer weekly. He was catching up on the mischief that Fairy Tail was still causing, he missed the guild, ever since he left. They had never really opened up to him, but Kazuki couldn't deny that in the short time of knowing them, the guild had become his home. He flipped over the next page and closed his eyes; the next article was featuring Rei and her mastery over Lightning Maker Magic.

He leaned his face on the table and breathed heavily; his heart couldn't handle the pain, Rei was moving on, and he couldn't see her again, not until his business with the Blood-Spirals and concluded. "Can I get you anything else sir?" a waiter attended to Kazuki.

"No thanks, I'll have my bill now." He responded, not bothering to get up.

"As you wish sir, your bill is 50 jewels for 2 cups of coffee."

Kazuki handed the waiter 1,000 jewels, "The rest is your tip. Have a nice day." He said as he got up and walked away, leaving behind a happy waiter who's day had just been made.

Kazuki walked to a bench and sat down, he got out a cigarette and started smoking, he hadn't touched drugs ever since meeting Rei, he was 8 months sober, all this time away from Rei had made him want to go back to them everyday, but he pushed his temptations away. He couldn't afford to be high when he found the Blood-Spirals. He finished his smoke and got out another one, just as he was about to light his, his communication lacrima started buzzing. He looked to see who was calling him and sighed, it was Jura. He answered the call and saw a bold Wizard Saint looking serious.

"Kazuki. Where are you?" He asked.

"In Crocus, why?"

"We've just had a report concerning the Blood-Spirals."

"Another one? This better be good."

"I'm afraid it isn't." Jura closed his eyes and sighed.

"Jura, tell me."

"It's Fairy Tail, the guild was attacked by a force from the cult."

"What!?" Kazuki's eyes widened, he wasn't expecting this, "Are they okay? Is anyone harmed? How's Rei?"

"No one is harmed from what I know, but…"

"What is it!?" Kazuki was freaking out.

"Head over to Fairy Tail, I can't tell you anything else." Jura ended the call, leaving a panicking Kazuki. He used his 'Sparkling Meteor' and rushed over to Magnolia. Within a minute, he was in front of the guild. The guild didn't look damaged in any way, Kazuki gulped and entered through the main doors. Inside the members were silent, they seemed to be in a state of shock. Kazuki walked in and accidently stepped on a broken piece of glass, the sound alerted the guild and everyone turned around to see him.

"Kazuki?" Erza said.

"You're back." Jellal followed.

"Jura just told me about the attack, what the hell happened?" Kazuki asked.

"We were wiped out." Makarov walked up to Kazuki, "They were incredibly powerful."

"How many of them were there?" Kazuki asked.

"Four. 1 woman and 3 men."

"The woman, did she have dark green hair?"

"Yes."

"Then that means you were attacked by the main force."

"Even so, only one of them fought us. 1 man against all of us, and we lost."

"Makarov, I can't sense Rei anywhere, where is she?"

Everyone in the guild looked down.

"Why won't you answer me? Where is she?!" Kazuki's heart was beating incredibly fast, he was about to have another panic attack. Why wouldn't the guild say anything, where was Rei?

"They took her." Laxus answered, approaching Kazuki, he was completely battered, blood leaking from the corner of his lips, "The guild wasn't the target, she was."

"What…." Kazuki struggled to process the information, his eyes widened, and he was frozen, unable to move. Laxus grabbed Kazuki by his shirt collar with both hands and pushed him against the wall next to them.

"I said they took her! She was abducted by those psychopaths, and it's your fault!" Laxus screamed, his eyes full of rage. "They took her to lure you out!"

Upon hearing Laxus, Kazuki regained his composure and gently got Laxus of himself. Kazuki powered up, unable to contain his rage. Magnolia itself started to shark intensely at Kazuki's power surge. Everyone in Fairy Tail fell to their knees at the pressure of Kazuki's energy, it was too much for any of them to handle, even Gildarts.

"Those bastards." Kazuki clenched his fists and controlled himself, the pressure suddenly evaded and Magnolia was no longer trembling. Kazuki took in the different smells in the guild hall and walked to the guild entrance.

"Where are you going?" Laxus asked.

"I'm going to rescue Rei."

"Alone? Are you crazy?"

"All of you cheer up, I will be back with Rei by this time tomorrow, have a party ready."

"Kazuki wait." Makarov called out to him. Kazuki waited, but he didn't turn around to face the fellow Saint. "Like it or not, this guild is still your home, and you're one of my children, please come back alive with Rei."

"I will, gramps." Kazuki continued walking as Makarov restored his guild emblem. He was no longer the Guild Hunter, Crimson Prince. He was now Kazuki of Fairy Tail.

On an abandoned piece of land stood an army of tens of thousands of soldiers, all wearing red and brown robes with silver eye masks. These were the foot soldiers for the cult. Behind the regiment, was a cave, and inside was Rei, chained up and gagged. The chains had been laced with non-lethal bane particles, stopping her from using any magic. Her hair was rough, and she was covered with bruises. In front of her, were the 4 Wizards that had abducted her from the guild, the 4 were on 1 knee, bowing down to a man sitting on a stone chair, he was wearing a red and gold robe, his face was pale, he had black silky hair and thick black moustache with a long stubble. This man is the leader of the Blood-Spirals, his name is Rassimov.

"You have done well, it's time to teach Subject 7 a lesson, we will kill the girl and leave her corpse hanging on the council's headquarters." Rassimov laughed, "They will learn the consequences of messing with us."

"I'm the one that brought her here, allow me to finish her." Spoke one of the 4, he was bold and wearing a red vest with no shirt underneath and red trousers with silver boots. His body was completely buffed, this was the man who had solo'd Fairy Tail, a dangerous wizard who specialises in Cursed Flame Magic. His name is Kiel.

"Very well, she's yours." Rassimov gave him permission.

Kiel walked over to Rei, she looked into his cold dead eyes and began to hyperventilate, she was about to die and there was nothing she could do about it. Rei closed her eyes and prepared for her killer to attack, only having one name repeat in her heard, 'Kazuki…'

Right on cue, a black-haired wizard came crashing down from the ceiling of the cave, leaving behind a hole. He landed in between Kiel and Rei, and he was infuriated.

"Who the fuck are you?" Kiel asked, completely pissed off.

Without warning, Kazuki swung his arm and punched Kiel as hard as he could, sending him flying into the cave walls behind him, leaving a 2-meter-deep dent in the shape of Kiel's body.

"I'm a Fairy Tail Wizard." Kazuki answered. He turned his attention to the leader of the cult and looked him dead in the eye. "Rassimov."

"You know me?" Rassimov asked him.

"I'm here to kill you."

"And who exactly are you?"

Kazuki turned around removed Rei's chains and the cloth in her mouth, she was weak and leaned on Kazuki, unable to say anything. Kazuki hugged her and turned his head slightly to watch Rassimov from the corner of his eye. "I'm subject 7." He announced as he used 'Sparkling Meteor' to fly out of the cave with Rei, through the opening he had made earlier on his arrival. He flew over to a area with large boulders, they would be hidden there.

Upon landing, Kazuki charged his hand with regeneration energy and placed it on Rei's head. Her body glowed with golden flames as all her injuries were instantly healed and she was back to peak health. Rei opened her eyes and saw Kazuki in front of her, for 6 months she had been desperately waiting to see him, and now, here he was. She quickly hugged him tightly, Kazuki returned the embrace.

"Kazuki, I missed you so much."

"I missed you too Rei."

"Why did you leave like that?"

"I didn't want to; it was the only way to keep you safe."

"You idiot, I still got abducted."

"I know, I'm sorry. I was trying to keep you away from them, but now the only reason I've found them, is because of you." Kazuki broke the hug and kissed Rei passionately, she returned the favour. The couple's lips parted as they regained their breath.

"What now Kaz?"

"Well, I want to teleport you back to the guild, but I know you're never going to listen."

"You're dam right I won't."

"Alright here's the plan, the foot soldiers, I counted 10,453 of them, there's a lot of them, but they're all weak. I need you to take them out."

"I can't take down an entire regiment."

"I didn't mean them all, take out as many as you can and then hide, I'm going to fight the main force and then Rassimov."

"But the main force, they're so strong."

"I know, but I'm stronger."

Rei looked at Kazuki and nodded, she took her hand and give it a squeeze, Kazuki squeezed back. The pair looked at the cave ahead of them, surrounded by soldiers. Kazuki was dreaming for this day for ages, and now it had finally come, the day he destroyed the cult that had stripped Kazuki of his childhood.
