Jerry Johnson's Mansion

October 31, 1978

5:15 P.M

It was getting dark and the 14 teenagers began to venture inside the big creepy mansion. The house was completely silent. The only thing heard from the human ear was footsteps, clacking heels, and floorboard creaks. The house was very dark and extremely big. It is safe to say the house was bigger even than the Burkhart's mansion. It was a surprise no one bought the house. But, this house was tainted too many times for anyone to buy. The house looked dusty, severely unkempt, and frightening. The walls' paint was chipped, the furniture was destroyed, the carpeting definitely needed to go, there were spider webs and spiders everywhere and if you really looked for it there were splashes of what looked-to-be blood. But despite all of that the architecture of the house was beautiful. Even though the exterior of the house was just as frightening as the interior, the way it was built was beautiful.

"You know it's never too late to call it a day." Tyler said, obviously very freaked out.

"God Tyler, get a pair. You're really scared of some urban myth." Connor said, very annoyed at his 'best friend'.

Tyler wanted to say yes but remained silent out of fear. The air was filled with dust and woody scent. Hyde was already over it, he wasn't scared of some stupid ghost and this was already boring. He looked over at Jackie and grew a little smirk. She looks really hot in that costume, maybe this whole thing is worth it for her, Hyde thought. Two years ago hell, three weeks ago he would've been disgusted with himself for even thinking that about her. But now he didn't really care, yeah a little part of him was still creeped out by it because this was still Jackie Burkhart the princess of Point Place. He didn't mind this crush or infatuation because once she got back together with Kelso the whole thing would fade. Why argue with crazy?, the pothead thought. He had convinced himself that this crush was only because she was single and he was single. This thing was gonna fade and then he was gonna go back to the old Hyde and live averagely in mediocrity. A part of Hyde knew that wasn't true but he still believed it anyways. He was pulled from his thoughts when the 14 teens heard a loud sound. It was frightening, but what made it more scary is the fact that they were in a house known for being haunted.

"What was that?" Eric asked, timidly.

"Foreplay we haven't even made it around the house yet and you're already acting like a little bitch." Connor said, tauntingly pushing Eric.

"Yeah and if this plan doesn't work and Foreskin here isn't scared shitless or man up we're whooping his ass." One of the football players said.

Jackie rolled her eyes, If this plan doesn't work you're gonna be added to the list of spirits in this house, she thought. She honestly was aggravated by these jocks between their constant 'man' jokes and her knowing they are staring at her ass. She didn't know how much she could take before she snapped. She looked around the house they were walking around and something took her eye.

It was Hyde, he looked so good in this lighting she didn't know how much longer she could deny her physical attraction to him. I don't have a physical attraction to him!, the princess thought. She studied him, his beard made him look more manlier and sexier. He had definitely filled out more over the years. She looked down at his chest and it was muscular with chest hairs. It definitely isn't anything like Michael's but it's still hot. Even though he isn't hot, she thought. She looked back up at his face and he was still wearing his sunglasses. She mentally rolled her eyes Even in this dark house he's still wearing them, the noir haired girl thought. They made him look even more attractive in a mysterious type of way. Jackie's eyes moved down to his lips, those pink kissable lips, Jackie imagined herself kissing those lips. It was almost like he knew what she was thinking and teasing her because he smoothly licked those lips. She felt wetness moisten the lace of her panties. Oh my god, I'm attracted to Steven Hyde. No, I'm not attracted to him, it's just a dry spell or something. I can't be, we're two different people that just can't even think of each other that way, she thought.

Jackie was interrupted from her thoughts. When she fell, she almost fell. She felt a strong hand lift her back up. She looked to see it was none other than the man plaguing her thoughts. That was sweet of him I guess, she thought. She was still in his grip and slipped herself out of it; she tried not to look at his face. She was scared of what she might think or do if she looked at his face.

"Thanks, Hyde." She said to Hyde. She turned to him but didn't look directly at him.

"Welcome." He said.

"My feet hurt." Kelso complained in childish tone

"Mine too. We've been walking for hours." Fez protested.

"Fez, we've been walking for ten minutes." Eric stated.

"I'm not seeing your point." Fez said.

Donna rolled her eyes and lightly chuckled at her friends' antics. Jackie trailed off the group and began her plan. Hyde was the only one to notice her departure and he quickly joined her. Jackie walked quietly and extremely skilled up the stairs with Hyde unknowingly behind her. Jackie could sense someone behind her but didn't give it any thought. She walked to the upstairs hallway and tried to remember the exact room it was in. The room was black and grey with a big closet. I think, the raven thought. She looked for the room that matched the description. It took her eight different rooms to find the one she was searching for.

Hyde was curious to see what she was doing and how long the gang could go without noticing their absence. Hyde saw the fairy raven walk into one of the further rooms down the hall. What the fuck is she up to?, the stoner thought. He quietly followed the petite girl into the room. He looked around the room and it was dark and the walls were chipped. The windows were covered with wood and filled with dust. Despite all that, it was a very large room, which would've made it extremely difficult for the stoner to find the princess. But, luckily for Hyde she was wearing hot pink. He heard movement further up the room, he looked to see it was coming for the closet. He saw hot pink and walking closer to the figure. It was Jackie bent over looking for something, he couldn't recognize what it was. He smirked at the sight of Jackie bent over but quickly lost that smirk when a recurring thought popped up: What the hell is she doing?

"Jackie?" He called out.

The fairy raven turned around and immediately dropped the box she was holding. She was a little startled by his presence. I knew someone was following me, she thought. Jackie turnt on her Burkhart charm, it always got her out of any situation. She plastered on an enchanting smile.

"Hyde, what are you doing here?" She spoke softly and delicately.

Hyde was a little taken back by her tone. She was talking like a Disney princess and smiling like an angel. He almost didn't even believe that was her talking. He almost wanted to do whatever she said. He almost wanted to just leave her be and walk away it was like he was in a trance. But then he realized he heard that tone and saw that smile before. She used it whenever she wanted her way about things. He slightly chuckled to himself for almost falling for her enchantment. Key word there was almost, he thought.

"Could ask you the same thing." He said in his nonchalant tone.

Jackie was taken back from the looks of things she had him where she wanted them. But luckily for her, she also had another way out of this situation. Lying or as she liked to put it 'a creative way of telling the truth.'

"Well, I wanted to see where those noises were coming from." She said in the same tone.

Hyde did not believe her for one second and it showed. She was up to something and Hyde was curious to find out if it was good or bad.

"What did you have in your hand?" Hyde asked

Jackie tried to look confused "What are you talking about?"

Hyde gave her a knowing look. They both looked down to see the box she was previously holding. She tried to slide the box with her feet over to the other side of the room. Only to have it land right beneath Hyde's feet, he picked up the box. He smirked when saw what it actually was.

"Jacks, why do you have an ouija board?" Hyde asked, not realizing what he just called her.

Jacks? I kinda like it, she thought. "Ummm… well… I was gonna kinda use it to prank the jocks or something."

"If hanging around me taught you anything. It should've been to think more outside the box than this." He said half jokingly.

"What do you mean?" She was honestly confused but a little upset that she somehow disappointed him. What? No, I don't care to impress him… Right?, the princess thought.

"I mean if this was the prank you had in mind, it's not the best you could do." He said.

Now she was getting angry. How dare he come up here and follow me and look super hot and tell me what to do and I kinda like it, she thought. Jackie rolled her eyes "Ohh and you could do so much better." She said very irritated.

"Yeah, I could. I'm pretty sure I just said that." Hyde said.

"Well, what did you have in mind?" She asked in a very quiet tone.

"If I tell you, and I know the following requests are going to be very hard for you. You have to promise to shut your pie hole and do as I say." Hyde said.

She took a brief moment to consider her options. She was curious into seeing what he had up his sleeve and she also realized she liked to hear his voice. He never talked a lot or at least she never noticed he talked alot and she wanted to hear what he had to say. She nodded her head yes.

"I need words, Jacks."

"Okay, I'm in."

He grew a mischievous smile. This slightly scared Jackie and turned her on. She looked at him and the only thing she could think was God, he looks so hot in the lighting. There's no denying it now, I'm attracted to Steven Hyde. Huh… it's not as bad as I thought it would be.

Meanwhile, back on the first floor. The rest of the group were still wandering and exploring the house. They were now in the kitchen area. Yes, the house was so big it had devoted an area to the kitchen. Donna felt like something was missing, she looked around about what it could be. She noticed that a certain anti-establishment burnout and cheerleading princess weren't present.

"Hey, where's Hyde and Jackie?" She questioned

The whole gang including the jocks looked around.

"The ghosts took Hyde and Jackie!" Kelso screamed.

"What ghosts? You never said there were any ghosts here, you son-of-a bitch." Fez said in the same tone as Kelso.

"Would you two dillholes calm down? I'm sure they're just fine, they're probably just lost." Donna said, obviously not calm herself.

"Oh my god, Hyde and Jackie are lost, TOGETHER." Eric said, in an even more panic state. The basement gang all knew that meant trouble. The last time they left Hyde and Jackie alone they both started acting strange.

"We have to find them before they kill each other." Donna said.

"Okay, you guys stay here and we'll look for them." Eric said, walking to search for his friends with the rest of the basement gang behind him.

Tyler looked around the house, "No way, man you guys aren't leaving us here we'll help you look for them." He said as he began to follow them.

"Stop being a little bitch, Tyler. We'll stay here." Connor said grabbing 'his best friend' back.

Eric, Donna, Kelso, Serena and Fez were now looking all over the house for their two friends. They were currently by the stairway calling out for them.

"HYDE!" Eric screamed.

"JACKIE!" Donna screamed.

"My beautiful goddess is gone. She got taken by the ghosts and now I'll never see her beauty again!" Fez cried.

"Come on little buddy, don't say things like that. I'm sure they're just fine." Kelso said, trying to comfort Fez.

Eric was twitchy and fidgety "They're probably just playing a burn on us. Right?"

"Yeah, like Hyde and Jackie could even be in the same room without burning each other to do that." Donna said in disbelief.

Fez looked broken, he threw himself at Kelso for comfort. "I'll never see my goddess again." He sobbed.

"Now you made Fez cry, thanks a lot Donna! "

"We never even got to do it!" The foreigner cried.

Kelso hugged his friend and stroked his hair "It's ok, little buddy."

Serena rolled her eyes and Donna looked pissed "Will you two cut it out so we can find them." The redhead said

Back on the second floor, Jackie was pacing around the room. While Hyde stood there arms crossed waiting for her to stop and his eyes glued to her breasts. Jackie stopped pacing the room and faced Hyde with a panic look on her face "Are you sure this is legal?"

Hyde rolled his eyes. I knew she wasn't gonna just go along with it, the rebel thought. "It may or may not be illegal." He noticed that her face grew even more panic, he wanted to smile so bad. She looks cute when she's panicked, you know except for the fact that she's panicked, he thought. "Look will you just calm down." he added

"Calm down? You want us to drug them." She exclaimed.

"We're not drugging them, if they want the drugs we'll give it to them and it's not like they're gonna be the only ones doing them."

She looked around the room in an unsure manner. This was new to her; she was almost never unsure of things. "I don't know, I don't wanna go to jail or something."

"You're rich and your family's influence. I highly doubt you'd go to jail." Hyde said. Even though things like that weren't meant to cheer her up it kinda did. Not because of what Hyde said but of how he said it and the fact that it came for him. Hyde walked closer to Jackie. She had her head down, he gently lifted back up to look at him with his two fingers. "Look Jacks, do you trust me?"

Jackie tried to look at his eyes but he had them covered with his sunglasses. As much as they're sexy is as much as they're annoying, the fairy raven thought. She knew that even if they were off she wouldn't get to see his eyes as vividly as she wanted to because of the harsh lighting. He touched her forearm bringing her out of thought. This touch reignited something in her, it set tingles and sparks down her spine. At that moment she came to the realization that she did trust him. What scared was how much she trusted him. She was pretty sure if he wanted her to trust him with her life she would do it.

"Yeah." She said in a low tone. Jackie was surprised that her voice could even go that low.

"Speak up, Jacks." He said in a gentle yet commanding voice.

"Yeah." She repeated bringing her tone up.

They stood where they were for a moment. Hyde grew the same mischievous smirk "Good to know." She didn't even respond she was scared that if she did he would move from where he was and she didn't want that. She liked the fact that his warmness was radiating on to her. So there they were in silence just admiring each other. But of course nothing good lasts forever because they heard footsteps and someone calling out for them.

"Hyde? Jackie? Are you guys in here?" They heard a voice say.

They knew who that voice was. The voice was so high pitched you'd be stupid not to know. It was Eric and just like that the spell or trance broke. Right on time, Hyde thought.

"Yeah, Forman. We're in here." Hyde said, looking in Eric's direction.

"Hey guys! I found them!" He alerted. Eric stepped into the room and soon the rest of the gang found them.

"What were you two doing here?" Donna asked.

Jackie felt like she had just been caught doing something she wasn't supposed to do. She didn't know why she wasn't necessarily doing anything wrong. She wondered if Hyde felt that way, too.

"Umm… nothing really. Just figuring out a way to scare the jocks." Hyde said.

Nothing? All of that was nothing to him?, she thought. She knew she was being dramatic and that there was no reason for her to feel this way. But, she couldn't help it and she didn't know why.

"Ohh, well what'd you have in mind?" The twitchy boy asked.

"Nothing much just gonna give them a little show." He said cooly

"What do you mean a 'little show'?" Donna asked

"What he means is that we get them to do drugs with us that boots up their fear hormones. Trick them into playing ouija board and then scare the hell out of them using props from the house."

"Wow Hyde that's fucked up. I'm in." Kelso said.

"Okay meet my good friends, ozone and onyx." Hyde said, pulling out two small bags from his coat pocket.

"Where'd you get them?" Eric asked.

"My guy was having a Halloween special."

"What if we leave permanent trauma on them or something?" Donna asked

"They won't remember anything when the high wears off." Hyde replied.

"How do we even get them to take it?"

"We tell them the truth."

"That we want them to take drugs, so we can scare them and finally leave us alone?" Fez asked

"No, that we're doing drugs that make us scared to see who'll easily shit their pants first."

"So we're doing the drugs with them?" Jackie asked

"Depends" Hyde replied

"On what?"

"What the hell is this a pop quiz?" Hyde said. He knew the plan was a little worrisome. But damn did they have to grill him about it like that? "Look, are you in or out? Cause' last time I checked these are the same group of people who groped Donna, constantly stuffs Fez in lockers and makes racists jokes towards him, beats up on Forman, made fun of Kelso's sister's weight, and makes unwanted passes at Jackie." Hyde reminded them.

Eric looked at the rest of the gang for a response before answering, "We're in."

"Okay this how we're gonna scare-" Before Hyde could continue the gang heard a noise come for the doorway.

They looked to see who or what it was.

The only thing that could be said was "We're fucked."

Yeah, I hope you really enjoyed the chapter. It was originally intended to be shorter than it was but I decided to make it longer. I hope the Hyde and Jackie moment was really cute for you and I also hope you enjoyed the chapter and the book so far.
