The group of three Walked through the forest (for real this time). And everything was going smooth so far. "only 12 miles till we reach Ushinawareta himei" Said a very enthusiastic Shinobu.
Giyu's pov
'Hmm, Shinobu has been acting quite strange today..Maybe once we get back from the mission I'll take her out for some salmon daikon.' His own face gained a goofy smile just at the thought of Salmon.
"Moshi mosh!" said Shinobu as she poked Giyu in the ribs "Huh? what? oh Shinobu, do you need something?" he said getting a serious tone (A/N-as if he didn't already have one lol).
"No, but I wanted to ask you, what is up with that goofy grin you were making?"
His left eye twitched as he gave her a blank stare, not answering. 'Well come on, aren't you gonna tell me?" she said still poking him in the ribs.
"..."
"Aw come on Giyu..This is why nobody likes you, you know" she said teasingly
'Giyu..She called me by my first name when was the last time she did that' He wondered.
He held his hands up as if he were surrendering "alright, alright. I was thinking of something nice, Happy now?"
She smiled satisfied with the answer. 'at least he said something'
The continued walking, until the sunset, so they decided to make camp.
* A few moments later*
"Giyu what are you doing?" Shinobu said watching Giyu utterly fail at setting up a simple tent
"I'm trying to set up the tent," he said before getting smacked in the face by a strip of metal
Shinobu laughed at what just happened. "do you need *wheeze* any help?" she said still laughing.
He looked at her with a deadly stare. "No, I got this."
3rd persons pov
Giyu had finally put up the tent, With Shinobu's help of course.
They were all sitting next to the fire outside eating some bento boxes Shinobu brought along.
She insisted that they eat them, Even though Giyu told her that he had his own food. Wich consisted of a small box of Onigiri.
"really Giyu? Onigiri that's it". He simply just ignored her.
She huffed and kept eating before a voice spoke. "I'm going...". said the boy with red eyes.
They both watched as he made his way over to an empty spot that was quite a way away from them.
"I wonder what he's going to do?" Shinobu asked with curiosity filling her voice.
The boy simply took his shirt of and wrapped it around his waist.
'Oh, that's quite a body for a kid his age' They both thought at the same time
"I think he's going to train," Giyu said.
The boy set up twelve training stumps consisting of stick rocks, and other things he could find.
He stood there for 2 whole minutes gripping his blade after he was done.
"really that's all he was go-"
All the dummies instantly exploded.
The boy stood about 3 feet away from his previous spot sheathing his sword.
"what the?.." they both said in awe. " he didn't even move how?.." said I dumbfounded Giyu
the kid just looked at them, an expressionless face. "how...did I get here?"
Shizukana's pov
'Breath...in...out...relaxe...control time...Breath of time: Cycle of the sun and moon, improvised form'
in what felt like seconds to him he destroyed all of the dummies in a swift blow.'

He turned towards the two other pillars."how...did I get here?"
