Basikov returns to North Barrow Downs. Lareneg asks "I take it the battle was a success?" as he observed some Madaw members with chests of treasures.

Basikov says "It was. The battle has proved that we may be able to fulfill the wish of our people. I have got to make an important contact now."

Basikov contacts Sauron via Palantir. " The mission was a success. The elves have been surrounded up into our labor camps, however we have too many, and as a gift of the North Barrow Downs - Mordor alliance, I present to you an expansion to your workforce."

Basikov offered the elves. for lands captured by Sauron often had the people sent to Mordor to help build the lands of the Dark Lord.

Sauron says "Excellent work. It is great to see someone finally put the elves in their place. I will have one more job for you, before the big thing."

Basikov says "I understand. This will be a big moment for all Barrow Wights and I can not afford to mess it up."

Sauron says "Precisely" and disappears from what can be seen in the Palantir.

As a few weeks past, the elves in the labor camps successfully construct a statue of Basikov. It reads 'Colonel Basikov' and underneath the name 'Father and Libertador of North Barrow Downs'. The gold statue was formed by gold looted from Mirkwood and was put right in front of North Barrow Downs Palace.

Basikov's intent is not to make himself look like a perfect individual, but to signify the liberation of North Barrow Downs that he led. He knows that since he was the leader of the "liberation" that he has been seen as a symbol.

The statue like a lot of other changes made to the North only proved that the Wight maintained a tight grip on the leadership of the North. Opposition to Basikov and the Madaw was non existent within the borders of the North.

Basikov arrives to Minas Morgul. He asks the Witch King "Make another elven stronghold to fall?"

The Witch King nods as they head into the building. They sit down next to a map.

The Witch King says "You have taken down Mirkwood. There are three elven strongholds left: Lothlorien, Rivendell, and South Barrow Downs." "Which one do you think is your next target?"

Basikov thought for a moment "I have studied about these places. The South is not coming until later, because I am not yet prepared for it just yet. I think the attack will be on Rivendell, because I have heard that in Lothlorien, Lady Galadriel is one with many powers, and I have no true powers, so it is very likely that my army and I is likely to be destroyed."

The Witch King says "You may have no powers, but you have proven that your knowledge is just as powerful as magic. Their underestimation has been and will be their biggest downfall."

Basikov asks "May I see Rivendell from a distant view, I need to formulate a plan for the attack."

The two of them go to a mountain top where they are not seen via their Fellbeats. Basikov says "I see that their kingdom is supported by pillars. The attack shall not come from left or right, but from underneath."

The Witch King says "Be prepared to hold your ground against Elrond. He is a tougher foe than Thranduil, for I have struggled facing him."
