Chapter 11: The Relationship´s Breaker (part 2)

This was not the time to leave it at that. If they remained apart, the group's friendly relations could be affected. Also, we know that guppies help each other. For that, the group decided to divide to speak with them separately. The first group consisting of Molly, Oona and Zooli went for Deema and the other group consisting of Gil and Nonny went for Goby.

The girls went to Deema's house. They were well received by her parents and they gave them permission to go see her in her room. The three girls saw their blonde friend pensively sitting on the edge of her bed. Her optimism was below ground. The three friends didn't like to see her like this.

"Deema….are you okay?" Oona asked first.

"Sorry, girls. I don't feel comfortable right now. If you want to do something, go without problems" Deema answered a little sad.

"But ... we come for you" Zooli said.

"Yeah...We...know what happened with Goby. We are so sorry for that" Molly tried to be compasive with her.

"Oh...that...It's nothing….Not all relationships work, you know" Deema said avoiding eye contact.

"But….you aren't okay with your decision….right?" Zooli deduce.

"It is the best for both. Things with him are not how I thought" Deema said sadly.

"Why do I have a feeling this is all about the Scarlet thing?" Molly asked. Her friend´s reaction was evident.

"It's just ... he ... he ... ARG ... I don't understand why he lets her be affectionate with him. Doesn't he respect me? He doesn't mind other girls flirting with him? Where is my place?" Deema expressed very bothered...but at the same time sadly "And I'm tired of talking to him about the same topic. It seems he doesn't care about me"

"We….are very sorry" Oona said sadly.

"What Goby did was not good at all" Molly commented not very calm.

"Girls, calm down. We can do something together here and now. No boys" Zooli proposed with a confident smile.

"Euhh...I don´t know...I'm not very good at this moment" Deema said.

"Zooli´s right. Maybe this can calm you down" Molly said.

"Yeah. Staying alone after a breakup is not the best. We are here to help you" Oona explained comforting her.

"Well...I can try it….Thanks, girls! I don't know what I would do without you" Deema admitted with a little smile.

"It's nothing, friend. Let's not waste time and just have fun!" Zooli said excited. The four girls started with their reunion. They did a lot of fun things like dancing, singing, they went to play for a while with each other. They had a good time. Deema smiled again when she saw her friends trying to cheer them up. Still, there are many things to process.

Meanwhile, Gil and Nonny arrived at Goby's house. At first, Goby's dad said his son was not home. Both boys decided to wait a bit. At that moment, Goby arrived and was surprised to see his two friends at his house.

"Gil! Nonny! You surprised me. It's not my birthday yet to be surprised hehehe" Goby giggled a little.

"Well ... now that we are here ... we can play a lot of video games. This time I will beat them to ..." Gil said excitedly before his orange-haired friend nudged him "Auch! Why did you do it, Nonny?"

"You know what we're here for really" Nonny replied to him with his typical face.

"Ohh...right" Gil said reluctantly.

"Euhh guys? Do you need something?" Goby asked confused.

"Well...uhhhh...we...know what happened between you and Deema" Gil said trying to start a good conversation.

"Oh...this….well….It was ... a mutual agreement" Goby said nervously.

"Goby...we see you two in this moment. You don't have to pretend it is" Nonny determined.

"Well ... if you already know why you are here?" Goby asked.

"We are your friends. We just want to know your position. I know you, man. You are not okay" Gil recognized his friend´s behavior.

"(sigh) You are right. I miss her a lot. I don´t know. She was very jealous because I hung up with a classmate" Goby commented.

"A classmate?" Gil asked confused. Nonny stayed quiet like always.

"Scarlet. But she and I are just friends. Deema didn´t take it in a good way. You know she is very dramatic. She thinks I cheated on her when I always showed her love and respect" Goby explained his point of view "(sigh) I don't want I don't want things to be like that but ... I can't trust someone who doesn't trust me"

"Don´t worry, buddy. I know this is hard but…..we are here for you" Gil put his hand on Goby´s shoulder.

"Yeah...You can count with us" Nonny said.

"Well...thanks...I really appreciate it" Goby confessed.

"You're welcome. Now we can do something else, huh?" Gil commented very enthusiastically

"Of course! Let's play video games" Goby proposed.

"(sigh) (I don't think this is part of the plan. But Goby needs to calm. And I´m his friend too)" Nonny thought and he decided to follow his friends.

Finally the weekend arrived. Both groups tried to keep Goby and Deema calm and separated from each other. Trying to analyze both points of view. The five guppies got together to begin to deliberate a solution for the two of them to at least be friends again. But ... that would only be the emergence of another problem.

"Alright guys ... We have listened to them and it is time to propose an effective solution" Molly proposed.

"Sure, I can't stand seeing my friends upset with each other anymore. I don't like things like that" Oona said sadly. Nonny just put his hand on his girlfriend´s shoulder.

"And not only that. The situation becomes uncomfortable. We cannot be with one of them without the other thinking bad of us. So we must fix it soon" Zooli added.

"I know what to do. The only solution is for Deema to apologize to Goby" Gil determined. While Oona, Nonny and Zooli were thinking about that proposal ... Molly didn't take it very well.

"Excuse me?!" Molly said. She was a little bothered.

"We know Deema exaggerates everything. She thinks Goby was cheating on her when that never happened" Gil defended his position.

"Well, I think Goby should apologize to Deema. He is inconsiderate to let that girl flirt with him" Molly said bothered.

"Maybe Scarlet does flirt with him. So what? We know that Goby would never do that. You forget everything he did for her. He confronted James for her. He was with her the whole time when she lost her memories. Did you forget it? Not enough evidence?" Gil explained...a little more annoyed.

"Of course I remember ... but you forget something else. Goby was also inconsiderate by not clarifying the relationship he had with Oona. If he really considered her, he would have avoided that misunderstanding from the beginning ... Did you forget that, Gil Gordon?" Molly replied him.

"Oh oh. Molly called him by his full name. This doesn't mean a good thing" Oona whispered little scared.

"Oh sure ... we boys are always fools, huh?" Gil faced his girlfriend.

"You said it yourself!" Molly said bothered. At that moment, Gil and Molly started saying very hurtful things to each other. In their anger no one thought about what they were saying.

"Guys, stop!" Zooli said trying to finish this argument.

"Please stop! I don't want you to fight too" Oona said sadly.

"Molly! Gil! We must be calm if we want to solve this problem" Nonny intervened.

"I won´t work with her. I will not work with someone who does not trust their friends" Gil crossed his arms.

"I will not work with one child who does not want to see reality" Molly said with her arms crossed too. That was very hurtful for him.

"Oh yeah? Do you think it about me? FINE! I´M DONE HERE!" Gil went away.

"Yeah! I don´t need you. AGH...I'm going out of here!" Molly ran away leaving the other three guppies worried.

"No! Guys! Come back! We must stay together in this!" Oona tried to resolve it. But it was useless. Nonny and Zooli saw each other without saying anything.

As trouble mounted for the guppies, Goby was with his new friend Scarlet. They were both eating something together in a cafeteria.

"Thanks for joining me. These days haven't been easy for me" Goby said sincerely.

"No problem. I will help you with everything. So….problems with your girl?" Scarlet asked curiously.

"(sigh) Yeah….We broke up some days ago…." Goby told her.

"Oh...I'm...very sorry" Scarlet pretended to be concerned. But actually she was happy. It was her chance to have Goby in her hands.

"Well….I don't know...Maybe...I did something wrong" Goby started to analized it a litte.

"Don't feel guilty, Goby. She just didn't appreciate your effort. She just wasn't for you" Scarlet commented.

"Maybe you're right" Goby answered.

"Don't put that long face. I want to see you smile" Scarlet smiled at him "Well...I know...This will make you feel better" Saying that, she slowly approached Goby. The boy looked at her a little confused. She was getting closer and closer with the purpose of kissing the boy on the lips. It seems that everything Scarlet planned would work ... but ...

"Scarlet….please...Not in this moment" Goby stopped her on time.

"Is there a problem with this?" The girl asked with a provocative tone.

"Scarlet….I like you….but just like a friend. I wouldn't feel comfortable dating someone right after a breakup. I would like to have time to think about it" Goby said nervously.

"Oh….I...I...understand. Sorry for that" Scarlet said sadly.

"Don´t worry. Thanks for this moment. But ... I better go ... I want to be alone" Goby said trying to be polite.

"Okay, see ya. Don´t forget. I can be a good option" She winked at him. She left him. Although it seemed that she understood Goby, she was not happy about it. For some minutes, Goby was alone. He thought more about his situation. It seems that he must analyze things before making a decision. Was starting another relationship really the right thing to do? Although he should use reason, a feeling made him doubt that mentality.

"(sigh) Deema…" Goby said that with a melancholic tone, full of sadness.

We return to the place where Oona, Nonny and Zooli are. Two more friends had split up and were mad at each other.

"Great! First Goby and Deema ... Now Molly and Gil ... Things get worse every day" Zooli said.

"I hate this. My friends don´t have to end like this!" Oona cried a little.

"Oona….calm down...We…" Nonny tried to calm her down. But...

"First Goby and Deema, and now Gil and Molly are angry. If we continue like this ... Will ... Nonny and I fight later?" Oona said it crying. Nonny took her face to clear her tears.

"Love, listen to me That won't happen to us. If we think things through, nothing bad will happen to us. I understand this is tough, but we must stick together" Nonny comforted his girlfriend.

"Nonny is right. Crying will not solve things. They need us more than ever. If we are their true friends, this is the time to prove it. We will help both Goby and Deema and Molly and Gil" Zooli added to help her crying friend. She sobbed a little more….but she was better.

"You are right….but….can we do something for them?" Oona asked while she was recovering.

"Mmmmm I see we can't do this alone….Maybe….Maybe we know somebody who can help us" Nonny had an idea in his mind.

"What do you think, Nonny?" Zooli asked.

"Come with me. I know someone who will help us" Nonny said very sure of himself. Oona and Zooli decided to follow him.

Looks like Nonny had something planned. Who is that person who can help you? Can Oona, Nonny and Zooli help both couples? What will Goby's decision be: Scarlet or Deema? How will it damage Gil and Molly's relationship? The answer will be revealed in the next chapter.

Great, first the Doby is in danger ... and now the Golly ... I really think I overdid it ... or not? Well, we will only have to wait for the next chapter. Which will take a while due to my academic duties.
