Now, time for your background info: four years after "Loose Ends", an 18 year old Emperor Noceda prepares for her biggest challenge yet... proposing to Amity.

Luz looked in the mirror of her bedroom. She finished getting dressed in her purple, white, and gold suit and was currently trying to tie her tie. With that done, she attached her white and gold cape to her suit jacket. She placed her crown on and grabbed her staff. Her staff consisted of a white base and a white and purple dragon palisman that she found discarded. She fixed her up and decided to give her a new color to go with her new life (In other words, Violet after being painted).

"Who's the best dressed Emperor on the Isles? This girl." Luz said.

There was a knock on the door and she opened it. Standing outside her door was a red demoness.

"Good morning, Kikimora. What can I do for you?"

"I have brought the item you requested, My Liege." Kikimora said.

"Excellent. Show me."

She handed Luz a small box and Luz opened it.

"It's perfect. Thank you, Kiki. That will be all for now."

Luz placed the box in her suit jacket and walked out. After five years together, it was finally time for Luz to ask Amity to be the Empress. However, that would be later. She has a busy day and she wants to get started on it. Her top priority is finalizing the Coven restrictions. She and Lilith spent a couple years trying out different things with limited success. First it was whether or not, you wanted to join a Coven. That thought made her laugh because of how it turned out for her friends. They were all considered Wild Witches.

"Who would've thought; Little Miss Perfect would become wild and unpredictable." Luz said.

After years, it was finally done. A patch that allowed you to join a Coven without being stripped of your magic. It makes the magic of your selected Coven more powerful, and dims down others by a decent amount. That way you can still preform other spells, just not as powerful as before. Luz stood up from the desk and stretched her back causing a few cracks to be heard.

"Maybe I should put, 'getting a new chair' on the list. This one is going to kill my back."

Luz's next task was to see how Hexside is doing, seeing as the new Potion's teacher is also the Potion Coven leader. She used her staff and flew to Hexside. Students moved out of the way and bowed when they saw her walking down the corridor. She made it to the Potion's room and used her staff to knock on the door. The pink haired triclops opened the door and smiled.

"Well, this is a special day." She said, "Class, please welcome our esteemed Emperor."

Luz held her staff up and leaned it against her shoulder as people bowed to her.

"It's a pleasure to see the next generations of potion mixers, being taught by my good friend and the leader of the Potion Coven, Boscha Park."

Boscha smiled at the mention of her new last name. It was only a few weeks ago that her and Willow got married and every time she gets reminded of her name, she smiles.

"If I may, what brings you here?" Boscha asked.

"Well, I wanted to see how you're doing with your new job." Luz said.

Luz watched Boscha teach the students and had to admit, she was a natural. When the bell screamed and the students left the room.

"So, I hear you and Willow are going to the Left Wrist for your honeymoon."

"Yeah, the roses that grow there are in bloom and are said to the most beautiful flowers on the Isles. They also can be used to create a potion that be used to help make someone pregnant without the Birthing Spell."

"Boscha, you're 19. You just got a job; you can wait a little before you start a family." Luz said.

"I know, it's just... Willow's the only one I want to have a family with. Anyway, enough about me, tell me about you and Amity. Is the Emperor going to have her Empress anytime soon?" Boscha teased.

"If all goes well. Then I'll have a fiancé tonight."

"You're going to propose tonight?"

"Hopefully. Well, it was nice to see you but I have another place to go. Have a good day."

Luz left Hexside. She flew the direction of the Owl House. She landed out front and saw an orange haired woman out front.

"Well, if it isn't the Emperor herself."

"Hey, Eda."

"Hey, Kiddo." Eda said, ruffling Luz's hair.

"I need to borrow the portal." Luz said.

"It's all yours, Kiddo." Eda said handing Luz the key.

Luz opened the portal and walked through. She carefully walked to her mother's house, the problem of wearing mainly white is that it gets dirty easily, especially when it's mid-April.

"Must've rained a lot the past few days." Luz said.

She made it to her mother's house and knocked. The door was open for half a second when her mother pulled her into a hug.

"Oh, my Bebe. I missed you."

"I missed you too, Mami. May I come in?"

"You never need to ask that. The answer is always yes."

Luz was led to the living room and sat on the couch with her mom.

"Okay, so... I have some important news for you." Luz pulled the box out and showed it to her mom, "I'm going to propose to Amity."

"Oh, my... my Bebe is growing up so fast!"

Camila hugged Luz and started crying tears of joy. She placed hands on her shoulders.

"Seems just like yesterday you were taking your first steps and now you going to propose and are turning 19 in a month. Are you ready?"

"Yes, I've been planning this for weeks. I am a little nervous, though."

"That's normal. Your dad tried to propose to me for two weeks, of course he kept messing up and it was more comedic than romantic."

That managed to make Luz realize something. What if she messes up? What if Amity rejects her? Luz quickly said goodbye to her mom and went to her castle. She sat on the throne and looked at the gold ring with a small emerald on it. She could do this, right? She rules over the Isles, how hard can proposing to your girlfriend be? She realized she said that out loud when she got a response. She looked at the giant heart above her.

"No offense, Titan, but I didn't really ask for your input." Luz said, "What am I going to do?"

For anyone else, a minute of silence past. Luz however wasn't anyone else.

"Again, I didn't ask for your input."

"Emperor Noceda."

Luz looked up and saw Kikimora.

"Yes, Kiki?"

"Your guest, Lady Clawthorne, is here."

"Send her in." Kikimora goes to get Amity, "Okay, you're the Emperor, you can propose to her."

She heard the door open and looked. She swears her nose was about to bleed.

"Hi, Luz."

"Hey, Amity."

Luz's heart was beating incredibly fast once she saw Amity. Her light brown hair down instead of her normal style, a green dress that looked to be worth, at least, several thousand snails. In her right hand was her staff, topped with her hawk Palisman.

"Luz? Are you good? You've been looking at me silently for almost a minute and a half."

"S-sorry. Are you ready to go?"

"Yeah, are you going to tell me where we're going?"

"Nope. It's a surprise."

The two got on their staffs and Luz led her to the spot of their date. She watched as Amity looked on.

"You remember this place, right?" Luz asked.

"Of course, I do, this was where we had our first dance."

"Grom night, 2020. That was such an amazing night." Luz said.

"Definitely the best night of my life." Amity said.

'This is it. You can do it.' Luz thought.

"Allow me to change that." Luz got on her knee and pulled out the ring.

"Luz!" Amity said in surprise.

"Amity, you've been the best part of my life for almost five years. I never have loved someone like I've loved you. Will you do me the honor and become my Empress?"

Amity covered her mouth and tears formed in her eyes.

"I... yes! Yes, I will!"

Luz put the ring on Amity's finger and then the two shared a kiss. When they separate, they close their eyes and press their foreheads together.

"I love you, Amity."

"I love you too, Luz."

They refused to move again unless it involved them kissing. They stood there for almost an hour, just looking at the tree. Their tree. Just like with Grom, this tree is involved with Amity's favorite memories.
