Chapter 27

Small Conference Room at Secret Medical Facility

Georgie and Lucky continued holding hands while they had their mouths open in shock as they looked around the room. They were both trying to process the story that was just told to them.

They were just told their names were Georgie Jones and Lucky Spencer instead of Lindze Letherman and Adam Knowles. And most of the people surrounding them were their family. It didn't feel like it though.

"We need to do MRI's on both of you first and make sure it is safe to do the procedures on each of you. You both need to talk it over because you may want to keep things as they are." Ellie was explaining to them.

"No!" Maxie yelled. "I have to have my sister back."

"Maxie," Felicia put her arms around her. "You know that is not fair to her. She has lived a long time as Lindze. She may not want to disrupt the life she has now."

"Thank you," Georgie addresses Felicia. "I think I should discuss the situation with the doctors then Adam and I can discuss what we are going to do."

"I think that is fair." Felicia said. "Maxie, you have Nathan back and even though it is not the same you do still have your sister back. We are all very blessed to get both of them back."

Lulu wrapped her arms around Maxie from behind. "I know how you feel. I want my big brother back. It's been too long since I have talked to him and then we lost Nicholas. I just hope he wakes up soon."

"So, I am going from being all alone in the world to having a mother, sister and a brother?" Lucky looked all around the room.

"You have more family than that." Laura walked across the room. She sat down beside him and pulled out her phone. Showing him a photo of Jake and Aiden.

"These are my sons?" He asked taking the phone from her to get a closer look at them.

"Yes, they are." Laura answered him with a smile. "They haven't seen you in a few years except for skype calls. There is so much I want to tell you about them, but I don't want to overwhelm you."

"What about their mother?" Lucky asked with curiosity. "I assume we are no longer together since I have been away for so long."

Laura and Felicia looked sharply at their two girls. Then Laura said to them sharply, "Not a word, girls. Let's not overwhelm them with the details."

"Sorry, Lucky," Lulu said. "We really hate your ex-wife. She hurt you badly." Then Maxie added, "She is a backstabbing slut."

"That is enough, girls!" Felicia said to them.

"She has settled down in the past few years." Laura defended Elizabeth.

"Oh, really," Maxie began with sarcasm. "You mean after she married the 'ex-serial killer' that had a 'tuma'" Using air quotes and pronouncing tumor like Arnold Schwarzenegger in Kindergarten Cop.

"Hold up!" Lucky exclaimed. "I left my kids with their mother who is married to a serial killer?"

"He's not a serial killer anymore." Laura defended. "He is actually really good with all three of the boys. In your defense, I think you have had your memories messed with during the whole time Elizabeth has been with Franco."

"Ok, this is too much right now." Ellie interrupted. "I need to take care of their tests and see where we can go from here."

"Girls," Frisco finally addressed them. "Join your husbands and kids in the school room for now or you can pack up and go back to the safe house."

"I told you we should have kept quiet," Lulu punched Maxie in the arm. "Even though they were not around for half our lives they still know us too well."

"Fine," Maxie said as she hit Lulu back on her arm.

They both huffed and started moving toward the door before they heard him say, "Laura and Felicia you need to go join them. I need to talk to Adam and Lindze alone about the case. When I get a better handle on what is going on, I will let everyone know."

Laura and Felicia shot daggers at Frisco and huffed at him, but they left the room with Lulu and Maxie.

After the door shut Frisco turned to Georgie and Lucky and said, "Sorry about that. I shouldn't have let that go on like that. I never know what is going to come out of those girls' mouths."

"I know you two are still processing but I need to know some things before you get checked out."

"Frisco," Ellie complained. "Haven't they been through enough for today? I am sure they are still in shock."

"I have to ask if they know about Alexandria and Tony and don't forget that Jack is still missing." He explained. "Every time I see Sarah and Emma, they give me questioning looks if I know anything yet."

"Alright, I will go check the machine." Ellie sighed. "I have to change some of the settings for Lindze."

Frisco waiting until Ellie had completely left the room before he sat down across them. He had his tablet in his hands scrolling for the photos he was looking for.

"Do either of you recognize these two?" Frisco asked as he showed them the photo on the tablet.

Georgie looked first and shook her head no. Lucky took the tablet and looked closely at the photo. "I had a meeting early this morning with Director Crowley about these two. He assigned me to look into their whereabouts. He said their names were Tony and Alexandria Decker and they turned up missing a week ago. I was supposed to fill in Chris as soon as he came in but Lindze was attacked so I came straight here and forgot. Where is Chris by the way?"

Knowing he was talking about Curtis he told him, "He is monitoring the perimeter of the hospital in one of the other conference rooms. He is actually one of my agents that I placed on your team to find out what the Ring wanted from you. Looks like it might be to keep tabs on Alexandria and Tony."

"So, my promotion was a front for this Ring group?" Lucky asked with disappointment.

"Adam," Lindze said sympathetically. "Let's think about that later. I am more worried about other things."

She looked up at Frisco timidly. She decided to tell him for some reason. "I am about two months pregnant and I am worried about the baby since I fell earlier."

"Are you in any pain?" Frisco asked with concern.

"No," She answered. "But this is my first pregnancy and I really don't know what to expect and I was hoping Ellie would be able to do a sonogram."

"If I know Ellie, she has already thought of that." Frisco told her. "When I take you for the MRIs just ask her."

"Thank you," She looked at him intently. "I noticed you are not as intense as Maxie and I could tell that Felicia was holding back from showing much reaction to me being alive. No reaction to our news?"

"Congratulations," Frisco told her as he shrugged. He looked at her and decided to just tell her the truth. "Truth is, I haven't seen you since you were a baby. I let my job take me away from my family and I have no right to demand or even hope you have anything to do with me. Once this is all dealt with, I hope I can get to know the person you are now like I have Maxie."

"Do you know why I would leave my kids?" Lucky asked him tentatively.

"You and Elizabeth had a massive falling out," Frisco began. "Those were your words when I talked to you. You were in Ireland when I got ahold of you and asked you to do a surveillance job for me. Before the falling out with Elizabeth you were a detective for the Port Charles PD. You had dealt with a lot before you started working for the PCPD. I knew you could handle the job. But I think that might have been when I put you on the Ring's radar."

"Why would you think that?" He asked.

"The Ring recruits' people that work for the government or previously worked for the government." Frisco told him. "Of course, you might have already been on their radar because of Helena Cassadine. She and your father have had a feud going for years. I don't want to overwhelm you with the details. It is a very long and crazy story. The only way I think you would believe me is if you got your memories back and remembered the story."

"Is my father still alive?" Lucky asked him. He wasn't sure he wanted to know though, but he noticed Laura had not brought him up.

"As far as I know, he is." Frisco answered. "He tends to disappear, and it occurs more and more as he gets older."

"So, I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree." Lucky commented. "I hope Ellie is able to do the procedure on me because I want to know why I would leave my kids like this."

"Well, let's get you down to the testing room." Frisco said as he got up from the table. "If you have to wait to have the procedure and you want to know what happened, I recommend asking Alexis Davis.
She knows you and she will tell you the truth. Don't ask Lulu or Maxie. Those two will embellish everything and you won't know what to believe."

"Let's get these tests done." Georgie said impatiently. "Then we can decide if we want to go through with the procedures."

Frisco looked up and Brit and Jason were coming from the testing room.

"Lucky!" Jason exclaimed.

Lucky looked at him strangely then he said, "Why do I have a strong urge to punch you?"

Jason sighed. "Probably because I slept with your wife. It is one of those things I wish I didn't remember doing. Though to be fair, you were also sleeping with Maxie."

"That maybe too much to tell him right now." Brit interrupted. "Let's get you to your room. I have to go back to the testing room to help Ellie with these two."

"I am Dr. Brit Westborne by the way," She held her hand out to Lucky. After shaking both their hands she went back to guiding Jason down the hall.

"I don't think I want to remember what an asshole I was." Lucky told Georgie.

"I think you should wait and talk to this Alexis first. Then you can make that final decision." Georgie said as she squeezed his hand.

He looked at her and smiled. He kissed her hand and they followed Frisco to the testing room.

They stopped in the hallway and looked back as they heard someone running toward them.

"I think they are headed to Port Charles," Chuck said breathlessly. He pulled a tablet up and started a convenience store camera that showed them stopping for gas.

"I will meet you back at the conference room after I get these two down to Elle's area." Frisco told Chuck. "Don't you two worry. We will have a group meeting including people on the team that are in Port Charles and everyone will know what is going on at the same time."

School Room

"Charlotte seems to be adjusting better." Laura commented to Lulu as they watched her and Rocca build a tower of blocks.

"Finding out that Valentin wasn't her father shook her up really badly." Lulu said. "She has actually gotten better since Dante has been back. She thought Dante would be mad at her, which is silly because he was overjoyed that She turned out to be his daughter."

"I am sure it also helps that Valentin left town." Maxie piped in. "Nina has actually been calmer since he left too."

"It's been two hours." Felicia said in frustration as she interrupted the conversation. "I am going to go back down there and see what is taking so long."

"Mom," Maxie said motioning her head toward the door to the room. "You don't have too. Georgie is here."

Maxie had been watching little Georgie play barbies with Clara, Elle's daughter when she noticed someone coming into the room.

"Are there some bigger chairs in here somewhere?" Georgie asked looking around.

"They have them put up,' Felicia told her. "The kids like to climb on them and use them as ladders. It's easier to just keep them put up."

"Why don't you four go across the hallway." Laura suggested. "Lulu and I will watch Georgie and James."

"Shouldn't you come with us?" Felicia asked Laura.

"I will get caught up later." Laura said. "If Lucky agrees, I would like for him to come with me to go check on Nicholas.

Maxie went to tell little Georgie where she would be before following them across the hall.

"So how are you two's brains?" Maxie asked them as they entered the much smaller room.

"My procedure will be straightforward and easy according to Elle." Georgie told them.

"But mine will have to be done in a few pieces." Lucky told them. "She told me about Drew, Jason's twin. His had to be done in small pieces because of the amount of times they changed his memories."

"I guess that makes sense." Felicia said. "So, are you two going to both get your memories back?"

"I am thinking I am going to do it." Georgie told them. She put her hands up before they got too excited. "I just found out that all of my memoires of my childhood to early adulthood are false. I would rather them be real, no matter what. Lucky's situation is a little more complicated. He doesn't want to remember being such an asshole but he wants to remember why he left and hasn't been back."

Maxie and Felicia look over at Lucky expecting him to explain.

"Not only did I abandon my kids, but I supposedly had an affair with you, Maxie. Then that led to Elizabeth sleeping with Jason."

"Let's not get it twisted." Maxie said. "Elizabeth had a thing for Jason before you two even got married. Then when you got remarried, she wouldn't even have sex with you because she wanted Jason."

"Maxie!" Felicia and Georgie exclaimed.

"Well she did," Maxie said adamantly. "Let's go back. I will say upfront after a lot of growing I deeply regret what happened between us. You were injured and got hooked on pain pills. I noticed and Elizabeth didn't. I helped you hide it and I got you more pills when you needed them. Elizabeth didn't deserve you."

"I think I am going to follow Frisco's advice." Lucky looked at Georgie. "I'm going to ask this Alexis Davis person what happened."

"Fine ask Alexis," Maxie said in a huff. "She is only going to tell you a more watered-down version of what I said."

"I am going to change the subject." Georgie said. "This is the main reason I decided to have the procedure done."

She placed a black and white grainy photo down on the table for Felicia and Maxie to see.

"Is this what I think it is?" Felicia asked as she picked it up so she and Maxie could get a better look at it.

"That is our baby." Lucky told them as he put his arm around Georgie. He was still in disbelief. "We were planning on going to the JP next week, but we decided to put that on hold until both procedures are complete and see how it might change both of us."

"Well, I need to go check on the kids," Maxie said as she got up. She really didn't want to think about her sister being pregnant by someone she had an affair with in another life. "Maybe Dante and Nathan are back from their run."

Dining Room several hours later

"Chuck tracked Alex and Tony by using credit card records they used in Paris and has camera video to back it up. They are in the middle of Kansas right now and if they stay on course will be in Port Charles in about a week. They are taking their time for some reason."

He looked at the large screen where Sam, Anna, Robert and Peter were listening to the briefing when he got an idea.

"I want you three to meet Alex and Tony before they get to Port Charles." Frisco told Anna, Peter and Robert.

"But Alex and Tony know who I am." Robert complained. "My hair may be gray, but I don't look that different."

"You always have good disguises." Frisco told him. "Dress as an old man and be Anna's father."

"I will not, mate!" Robert exclaimed in a thickened Australian accent.

"I will leave it up to you three to work it out." Frisco told them sternly. "Like I said you have always been good with disguises. A certain China man comes to mind. I am sure Sean still gets a kick out of telling that story."

"It helped that he thought I was dead at the time." Robert said under his breath. "I will figure out something."

"Shut up!" Robert said to Peter and Anna who were trying not to laugh. "Be careful or I will dress up in drag or better yet, I will call Holly and Ethan to come join the party."

"Just get to them and get a tracker on their car without them or anyone else seeing you." Frisco instructed. "Then get out of there. Keep in close contact with Chuck so he can help you avoid security cameras."

"I don't mean to interrupt," Alan spoke up. "Why don't we give them a reason to make sure they do go to Port Charles?"

"What do you have in mind Alan?" Frisco asked with curiosity.

"No!" Monica yelled at Alan. "I will not allow you to be used as bait!"

"This is the best solution," Alan told her as he turned to look at her. He put his hands on her shoulders. "I want to do this. By now they must know that we have all been found. What if they are going to Port Charles to target Drew again or our grandchildren."

"Alan," Sam spoke up for the first time. "I don't believe Drew would want you to make yourself a target to protect him and the kids. We have protocols in place for our safety."

"There is another reason I need to go back to Port Charles," Alan admitted. "I want to go meet Oscar and he can't come here."

"Sam," Frisco interrupted. "Pass on to Drew he needs to get a news story ready about Alan coming home after being kidnapped all these years."

"I will send him a message now," Sam said hesitantly. "Don't expect him to be happy about it and be prepared for a phone call from him."

Sam and Drew's house

Drew quietly locked up the front door and reset the alarm after he got home. He leaned back against the front door and sighed deeply.

He had just oversaw the media package that would throw his newly discovered father to the wolves, Oscar had refused any other treatment options, and he had just told Elizabeth he had ran DNA tests on two of her children.

Sam came around the corner carrying a couple of bottles of beer. "I figured you could use this." Sam said as she handed Drew a beer.

Without a word he took it and took a long drink. "Could have probably used some bourbon but with everything going on I probably shouldn't have anything to strong."

He pulled her with him to the couch and put his beer on the coffee table and pulled her down to sit in his lap. "I think I need this more." Drew said as he kissed her on top of her head and hugged her close to him.

"Things didn't go so well with Elizabeth?" Sam asked with a wince.

"I don't blame her for being upset." Drew sighed. "I am glad that her and Franco got married at the JP with the boys with them while we were in California."

"How was your visit with Oscar?" Sam said changing the subject. She didn't want to discuss Franco and Elizabeth.

"Not good." He told her sadly. "He has refused anymore medical treatment. He will not let Ellie or Patrick examine him. He wants to spend the time he has left with Joss instead of having a risky surgery he might not survive."

"Do you think Joss could change his mind?" Sam asked. She had changed Jason's mind.

"I wasn't going to put that responsibility on her." Drew said. "It is not her responsibility. If she is trying to change his mind on her own that is up to her. I think he doesn't want to get his hopes up again. He was already told it was inoperable so why take the risk if he will likely die during surgery no matter if it's Patrick that does it."

"What about Kim?" Sam asked anxiously. "I know when Danny had cancer, I would have done anything to save him."

"Terry told her that as long as Oscar has refused treatment, there was nothing either of us could do unless we go to court but neither of us want to do that." Drew told her sadly. "I hope I talked Kim out of pressing him on changing his mind."

"You could ask Patrick to come out here with Alan and ask him to talk with Oscar. Alan may convince him to have the surgery so they might have more time together."

"What if he is talked into the surgery," Drew began glumly. "And then he ends up in a coma or he is incapacitated to the point he is a vegetable. I know he doesn't want that."

They both sat up straight and looked at each other in shock as someone in their group had hit the panic button and their phone alarms were going off.

They could hear Chuck's loud voice coming through, "Everyone go on lock down now! Castle has been breached."

"I'll get Danny," Drew told Sam. "You get Scout, and we will go down the back stairway to the study.

They both ran up the stairs to get the kids. They were getting the kids settled on the beds in the panic room when they heard the doorbell ring.
