Hello my fellow readers, writers, and people who have been enjoying this and my other stories so far, I'm back with yet another new chapter. In this chapter we're going to be going over the events of the Fairy tail episode number 84 titled fly, to our friends. I don't have much else to add so without further ado let's get this show on the road.

Happy's P.O.V.

After I declared that we weren't going to be controlled by the queen of the Exceeds the more humanoid Exceeds that were like guards or something looked over at us without showing any emotion. Mychiya just said "meow" and Nabi asked in concern "Mr. Mychiya do you think they are" and the looked at each other.

The only thing on my mind right now was to leave so I grabbed Carla's wrist and started pulling her along behind me and said "come on Carla we're leaving" and as we were running, I said "let them come after us I'm never to abandon my friends." However, as we were running instead of sounding an alarm all I heard was that Nabi guy saying "two fallens are running loose in the city" and Mychiya said "royal guard hunt them down."

Natsu's P.O.V.

After that jerk that left both Wendy and myself in the cell and walked away, I had slouched down on the wall pondering over what he had said about Happy betraying us. I said "I don't believe it for a second Happy would never turn his back on us that's impossible" and then I called out pretty loudly "what have you jerks done to my buddy tell me."

I started punching the bars of the cell that Wendy and myself were in and I faintly heard her say my name but I kept punching the bars anyway. When it was clear that it wasn't going to bust down, I tried performing a fire dragon's roar only for nothing to happen and Wendy said "I could have told you that wasn't going to work."

I started on a triad "stupid Edolas and your no magic trap" and I heard Wendy mumble something but I couldn't make it out through my triad.

Hope's P.O.V.

I had awoke about 10 minute ago and found myself in one of this midevel stocks only with them hanging from the ceiling instead of being on the ground. I had already evaluated that there was pretty nothing that was going to get us out since there were at least two padlocks on the stocks and I looked over at Lucy who was still out cold but still in the same situation.

(30 minutes later)

Lucy finally started stirring and said "huh hey when did this happen" and I said "most likely after those two flea ridden cats betrayed us" and yes, I was still angry about that. anyway, after giving me a nod Lucy shouted out to the guards that I could feel standing guard outside our cell. "somebodies head is going to roll if I'm not out of this thing soon."

I whispered to her "first off quiet down if you don't, I'll make your head roll and second I have a plan" and she whispered back "what's your plan." I responded "they must not have checked very thoroughly because I still have my bag tucked under my shirt if you can reach it and pass it to me, I could get out of these stocks quickly."

She tried and managed to knock it lower in my shirt and after a few minutes of somewhat gently hitting me in the side she managed to grab it. she then passed it over to me and I opened it and with some difficulty with how far apart my hands were, I reached inside it and grabbed two of my golems. However, when I tossed them on the ground they didn't grow or anything and one of the guards must have heard the stone hit the floor.

He said "did you really think that was going to work we've seen your magic before and created the perfect barrier to stop it from activating." The bars started rising and he said "however I'll take that although I have no idea how my managed to sneak it past us." he then grabbed the bag and the two golems I had tried to get to grow and put them back in the bag and closed the bars again and Lucy said "you wouldn't happen to have a plan b would you" and I said "nope I was kind of banking on that plan."

Lucy then yelled at the two guards again and said "if you jerks hurt my friends, I'm going to rip you a new one do you hear me" and I barely heard one of the say "unfortunately." I said "wow you know your voice is annoying if another world snarks back at you" and she looked at me and said "what do you mean you've been snarking at me pretty much the whole time we've known each other" and I said "exactly."

She then kicked me as hard as she would with a bare foot in the side and I said "first off I deserve that one and second why did they remove our shoes." She said "yes you did and I don't know" and it was turn to address the guards this time "what's wrong with you guys do you have a foot fetish or something" and the one who took my bag and was just holding it and said "all prisoners are now allowed to have shoes that could cause you to fight back and shoes hurt if kicked with the right amount of pressure."

Happy's P.O.V.

As we were running from the royal army, we led them to the city and since I saw that there were innocent people in the way I said "Everybody get out of the way." At some point while they were chasing us, the army must have brought out their swords because they started swinging them at us and Mychiya called out "don't let them escape."

While we were dodging their swords, I saw a cart nearby with stuff in it that we could hide under and everyone pretty much ran past us since they didn't see us get the car. The only one who didn't run past was Mychiya and I thought for sure we were caught but no, the only reason he didn't run past us was because he collapsed.

The cart hit a bump which I had a feeling was him and we started rolling downhill through the streets while somehow still managing to hold on. After we got onto uneven road Carla lost her grip and was starting to fall back slightly so I reached out my paw and she grabbed onto it and I managed to pull her right back into the cart.

The cart went right off the cliff and with the momentum that we had since we were in the cart when it had been picking up speed Carla was pretty much flung right into my chest. The cart broke apart after falling off the cliff and while we had seemed pretty much unharmed, we did take a nasty fall. I said "hey are you okay is the ground spinning for you too" and I heard her reply "well nothing seems to be broken."

She must have noticed something and it shocked her apparently because she said "Happy look at that" and before I looked at what she was referring too I was shocked because this was the first time, she had referred to me by name instead of one of her nicknames. I looked up and saw that what she had discovered was a giant Lacrima on one of the floating islands.

I said "a giant Lacrima in the sky" and Carla said "it's much bigger than the one in royal city" and I added on "our friends but be in that one. I thought the one in the city looked too small" and Carla said "speaking of which" and we were overlooking the royal city from where we had landed. I said "wow what's the capital doing so far below us it's tiny" and Carla said "Extalia must be built on one of the floating islands in other words this is how everything is positioned."

I said "but how are we supposed to get back down to the city" and Carla said with a sigh "until we can use our magic, we may be stuck up here." a voice behind us said "hey you little varmints what in the queens britches you doing in my field" and I turned around and thinking it was the royal army I turned around and quite frankly was underwhelmed.

It seemed by a farmer who was holding a hoe out at us and he said "I was expecting a couple of dead beets but I found trouble makers instead. You're them fallens aint ya" and I took up a defensive stance while Carla just lowered her head and he just looked at us before suddenly swinging his hoe at mainly me.

After he stopped he pointed behind him and said "now get on out of here" and I said "fine just stop screaming at us." I heard Mychiya scream something about a runaway cart and the farmer person must have heard it too because he looked in the direction it was coming from and I said "they're already on our tails" and Carla just sighed again.

The farmer said "now" and since it surprised me I kind of whined out in fright and he said "I said scram" and I said "yes sir alright we're scramming right now." He said "then come on over to my place" and I was quite confused and Carla seemed to be as well but I wasn't going to question it since the army was right behind us it seemed.

As we got to what looked like a cozy looking home, I said "but what about those soldiers oh I get it you already reported us didn't you." He raised his hoe again as he were going to strike me with it and said "no" in a loud grown and I said in fright "sorry I was just asking a question." A woman said "oh hello dear have you finished out in the fields already."

She then noticed us and as he stomped off, she said "I see we have some guests" and I said "yeah sorry to trouble you" and she said "oh it's no trouble." We introduced our selves "thank I'm Happy" and Carla said "and I'm Carla" and the women said "my those are such wonderful names now why don't you come inside and wash up."

They introduced themselves as Lucky and Marel and Marel asked what brought us here and I explained with Carla filling in a few blanks. As she was bringing a plate over to the table she said "you poor things it sounds like you've had a rough day" and I was happy that they were serving fish(even though that seem to be the main food source for the Exceeds in Extalia) and I said "Mr. Lucky, Mrs. Marel thanks for letting us hide out here for a while."

Although most people would have accepted the gratitude Lucky raised his voice and said "use that mouth for chewing not yapping." I responded with "aye" and Carla said "you are very kind" and Marel came back and said "please excuse my husband he doesn't exactly see eye to eye with the kingdom. He's so vocal about it they kicked us out and we've been living on this little farm ever since" and Lucky said "what did you go and tell that for."

Marel responded "oh no reason" and after grabbing one of the fish I said "I get it that's why you helped us escape" and he acted aloof. He crossed his arms and said "believe what you want kid" and as I giggled a little at that he slammed both his paws on the table and got into Carla's and my face and said "if you're going to stay here you're going to work here aye" and I said "aye sir."

He said "then you better eat you're going to need the energy you hear me munch" and I started eating the fish very fast after retrieving from where it had landed on the floor." After loaning me a few clothes and after lunch we headed outside, and he handed a smaller version of the hoe that he always seemed to be carrying.

As I slammed it into the ground he said "put your back into it kid you want to be a man right" and I said "I don't get it what does this have to do with being a man." He said "no more backtalk now less crowing and more hoeing" and I was just slamming the hoe that I was holding into the ground and said "aye sir hoeing away."

After about an hour during which he started hoeing the ground too I said "Mr. Lucky do you really work this these heavy tools every day I feel like I'm going to break my back." He said "that means you're one with the tool it's weight comes from the heaviness of your heart so got it." I said "yes I get it" even though I didn't and I mumbled "wow this guy is over the top even when he's working he's blow a gasket it he heard me say that so I better shut my fish hole."

He seemed to have heard me even thought I had thought I had said it quietly and he yelled "you got that right kid" and I said "I'm sorry." I felt that I was making some small amount of progress although it wasn't really all that much but still something. Lucky said "gah you're doing it wrong a real man would do it like this see you got to put your back into it" and he went along the whole length of dirt and managed to make trenches.

When he said real man my mind instantly jumped to Elfman striking a pose while trying to display his muscles. Lucky finished a section and said "there that's how you field you see" and I said "wow that's amazing Mr." and he said "quick gawking" and I said to myself "he already forgot he told me to watch him man this guy's got some issues."

I said "can't we take a break I'm dying over here" and he said "if you can talk you can work" and before I could say anything Marel said "why don't you two strong men take a breather for a bit we made some cold drinks." I said "sweet mercy" and Lucky said "stop you better not think about drinking that before me" and I responded with "uh no sir."

Hope's P.O.V.

After I managed to move around frantically enough that the wooden stock that had been holding me broke they came in and released Lucy from hers and used that goo stuff to bind our wrists together. She said "I'm glad they let me out of that wooden piece of junk but did they really have to substitute it for this freaky blob."

Then she addressed the guards outside our cell "hey out there I don't suppose we could do anything about the goop huh. It just seems a little excessive is all" and I added on "I got to agree with this bimbo for once I mean it's not like would could escape with the bars and not to mention that you guys are standing guard out there."

I heard one of the guard mumble to the other "you should have put some over their mouths" and the other one said "has she made Earthland deaf or something how do they put up with it." She then pulled out one of her keys and I whispered to her "if they put a block on this cell for my magic, they probably did the same for you."

She whispered back "I don't think so they must have a kind of your magic here but every enemy that we've come across so far has been surprised by my spirits. If I were to guess the reason, they put the goo on me is for the sole purpose of sealing away my magic which is kind of genius to be honest." I then said "it may feel gross, but the goo is pretty impressive from what I've known of Earthland this is essentially the equivalent of those Lacrima handcuffs."

She then said "man this sucks I hope the others are doing better" and I said "well they're both dragon slayers and Wendy is stronger than she looks."

Happy's P.O.V.

After the break Lucky started me on sweeping the roof while he was splitting logs and I said to myself "I'm glad the old-timer is letting us hide here but does he have to work me like a dog the whole time." He seemed to have heard me because he said "you want to take your chances with the soldiers now sweep that roof spotless" and I said "I'll sweep" to him while I mumbled to myself "how did he hear me from here."

While I was thinking that I really didn't have the time for this due to the fact that our friends needed us in that brief moment of hesitation I slipped and started hanging by the edge of the roof. Lucky did his usual growl thing and said "keep getting distracted and you'll be hand scrubbing the toilet" and I managed to get back on the roof and said "no."

He then said "once you're finished with the roof you'll be chopping firewood for an hour got it" and I said my usual "aye sir."

Carla's P.O.V.

I was currently inside with Marel, who was working on some piece of clothing while humming away and after a moment she said to me "you haven't smiled this whole time I'm sure you could brighten up the entire room. Are things really so bad you can't crack a smile" and I said "I'm just not in the smiling mood is all" and she said "it sounds like something painful has happened.

It may seem bad now but you'll smile again" and I said "I doubt it" and she replied "you say that but trust me it'll happen."

Happy's P.O.V.

After getting done with the roof lucky handed an axe that looked too big for me to be able to manage but I started on the firewood like he said "it took a couple logs for me to get the hang of managing to do it in one strike but I finally managed to do so. I said "that's more like it" and he looked over at me while I was wiping the sweat from my forehead and said "what are you doing over there taking a nap.

Quit dawdling or you'll never catch up" and I looked over to where he had been doing the same thing only he seemed to be doing it more effeciantly because he already had three large piles. I was honestly surprised at how fast he managed to do it and I said "fine I'll show you I can do it" and I started chopping the wood in pieces in half as fast as I could.

I then got the familiar challenge feeling that those of us in Fairy tail usually get when presented with something challenging and I said "you're not going to win this one." I was say "aye sir" with every strike and it seemed like we were both going about the same speed and he said "you won't beat me kid" and the piles of split wood gradually grew bigger until we were both at the same height.

As we were both down to one piece of wood we both got the last one that we had on the tree strump that we were splitting them on. We both must have miscalculated where the log was in relation to our axes because we managed to hit the stump while missing the log entirely which sent a shock through my body and I assumed the same thing happened to him.

After getting over the discomfort of the shock we both started laughing and a second he roared out "hey why are you laughing" and I said "I don't know." He said "well I suppose that's enough firewood for one day you got off easy kid" and I assumed that by him saying that we were all through with at least the hardest work for the day.

Since I was sore all over I slumped against the log and said "I'm pooped and I smell like a three day old salmon" and he roared "well then take a bath" and I said "right I'm going." After getting the bath and putting on the same clothes since I didn't want to ask for more since they had already been so kind I went out to the porch and Carla was sitting out there and after I sat down I said "man that was the best bath of my life."

Marel came out a little bit later and said "good work out there young man it feels great to work hard and have a nice bath doesn't it." I said "sure does I needed that" and she said "so tell me Happy and Carla you're not from here were you hatched in Earthland by any chance. Were you given your names by somebody from there" and I said "uh huh by my friend Natsu" and Carla said "I too was named by a friend."

I said "but now they're being held captive the royal city below we got to save them because it's our fault they're there." Marel said "so you intend to save the humans" and Carla said "that's why we're fallens caring about humans seems to be a bizarre concept here." Marel said "I don't believe it's bizarre at all in fact it's wonderful if someone is your friend it shouldn't matter if they're human or Exceed. After all even though we may look different on the outside internally our hearts share the same shape." Carla said "I'm afraid I don't follow you're logic" and Marel said "well what I'm trying to say is that love is the same no matter who you are."

Carla looked down at the ground and said "I wish that applied to me regardless of the shape of my heart or how much love it has to give its not under my control. Even now I can't be sure that the words I'm saying are mine or part of someone else's plan" and I said "I know they're your words Carla you're too strong to let someone control you.

And I know our hearts want the same thing to defeat the royal army and save our friends" and she looked up at me since I was standing while she was sitting and said "you think we can." Marel said "I know you can things may seem a little confusing for you at the moment but you should never give up hope.

You have a wonderful knight will be right by side through the journey" and internally I was wondering if she was talking about me. Marel then continued "I understand that you may feel like you've lost your heart but I think you found it long ago. Now all you have to do is learn to embrace it, believe it, and trust you feelings of love."

For the first time since we escaped the soldiers or even got to Extalia Carla smiled and Marel said "there you see a wonderful smile was just waiting to come out I'm glad I got to see it." Carla said "you surprise me Marel" and she responded "what makes you say that" and Carla said "because all the exceeds we've met so far think of themselves as celestial beings and their queen as divine.

They even called humans and inferior species" and Marel said "ah yes truth be told I used to believe the same thing. Then one day our beloved queen took our children from us one hundred children still in their eggs were taken from their homes. We were given no warning and we were just told to accept it the queen had chosen them to eliminate the dragon slayers they were all sent to Earthland against our wishes.

When we opposed the cruelty of the project we were exiled we never even got to see our children's faces after that everything changed. We realized the lie we had been subjected to she wasn't a god and we certainly weren't angels we were just parents. Once we realized this the lines between human and exceed all but vanished for us it didn't matter anymore.

My husband may seem opinionated at times but he feels the same way I do" and he came out and said "Marel stop wasting time talking nonsense with these kids how long are they planning on staying here." Marel said "calm down" and he looked at me and said "I'm sick of that look on your face don't you realize you're lucky to be alive.

Now grow a pair I want you out of my house now" and Marel said "oh but dear this is much too sudden" and I said "no he's right we don't have time to lounge around anymore our friends are down there and we have to do everything we can to make sure they get home." Carla looked unsure for a moment before nodding to me and Lucky said "at least you finally get it.

Scaredy cats can't do nothing I swear these stupid kids these days need it spelled out for them" and I realized that instead of having me work because we were staying with them that it was so that I could get the strength that I had been lacking. As we were walking about we turned around for a moment and I said "thanks old timer you too ma'am we'll never forget you."

Lucky said "yah never come back you brats" and Marel said "you take care of each other you hear" and as we continued running I said "hey Carla I don't know about you but I feel like we were destined to meet those two today" and she said "yes I feel the same way." I said "when we first came to Edolas I wasn't sure about a lot of things I felt like I was lost" and she said "so did I but now" and I finished for her "the path is all too clear."

We then jumped off the cliff that we had landed on before and started free falling toward each other until we were holding hands. I said "we won't let our past hold us back we got to fly forward and protect our friends" and we then separated and called our wings forward and all the while I grinned at her and she smiled back at me.

She said "come on let's go we can't keep the others waiting" and I said "right behind you"

Yet another chapter done and quite frankly while this episode touched me right in the feels it's not quite one of my favorites. Anyway in the next chapter we'll be going over the events of episode 85 titled code ETD which I have a feeling will change quite a bit.
