Hi guys! Sorry for not updating in a week I have been crazy busy. Today is also my brithday so I didn't have much time to write either but I did want to give you another chapter.

I tried to take out all the mistakes but since I didn't have much there can be some mistakes in their and weird sentences and I am sorry for that. In the weekend I will try my best to take them out.

But for now have fun reading!

Everyone has been taking good care of Brittany since they know they've been pregnant. Santana especially.

And today was a special day/ Brittany was going to do something special today and was going to surprise Santana with it. she didn't know how to do it but she was going to do it at school.

''Be good for nana okay honey, mommy's going to be right back with Sanny''

She gave Isabella a kiss on the forehead and a hug and walked out the door.

Talking about Santana she was already waiting in front of the house picking her up. Brittany walked towards her and stepped in the car.

''Hey San thank you for picking me up''

''Of course why both alone when I get to pick you up and have you all to myself for this whole ride''

Brittany chuckled and gave Santana a peck on the cheek since she was driving. She wanted to do it on the lips but that would distract Santana and she was driving.

After they parked the car in the parking lot of the school they met with Quinn and Rachel who had been waiting for them.

Today was Quinn's first day at school. The thing was when she first came here she wanted to start school as soon as possible but she talked to Holly and Holly said that it was probably best if she would be starting at the same semester as the others that way she wouldn't have started in the middle of 1. What was going to happen with the last semester they didn't know yet but Holly would figure something out so today was Quinn's first day.

Just like Santana did for Brittany, Rachel wanted Quinn all to herself this morning and since Quinn didn't have a car yet Rachel was more than happy to pick her up and she made that very clear.

A few nights ago…

''Hey Quinn in a few days you start school right?'' Santana asked

''Yeah Holly said that I should start in the same semester as you did so in the meantime I'm still waiting''

''Well I am picking Britt up for school so I can take you too if you would like I mean you live close by too''

''Wait you're picking me up? You know I can ride there in my own car right?'' Brittany said interrupting the duo

''Oh I know babe but you're riding with me anyway'' And with that she gave a quick peck on the lips to Brittany who blushed in return in which made Santana chuckle but then remembered her conversation with Quinn.

''So you want to ride along with us Quinn?''

Rachel being the person that she was didn't actually want this. She was planning on asking Quinn the same thing and to ride with her but didn't have the courage yet, she wanted to do it when they were alone. She had to come up with an excuse and fast.

''Uhm you know…'' said Rachel interrupting the three

''I- I can take you. I mean it must be more fun not that Santana and Brittany are not fun but I mean they girlfriends and then you're just going to be like a third wheel or something'' Rachel quickly rambled

But Brittany quickly spoke up ''Quin will never be a third wheel''

''I know Britt and that's not what I meant I just- I mean- well I don't know how to explain it but Santana is picking you up so she can have some time on her own with you, so should she just have her time on her own with you and I don't mind I usually come this way anyway''

Now it was Santana's time to be confused ''But Rach you never go this way it's like a big detour.

''Babe if it's just a detour why are you coming to fetch me then? Brittany didn't mind riding with Santana but she didn't want her girlfriend to ride a whole way around just to come fetch her.

''Britt this is not up for discussion I love you and I'm picking you up'' and with a peck on the lips the deal was closed.

Quinn didn't know what to think, she kind of gets nervous when she's around Rachel and notice that Rachel gets the same. But Rachel was kind of right sometimes Brittany's and Santana can be kind of clinging together so she decided she was going to ride with Rachel.

''Uhm you know I might go up for your offer Rachel if it's alright with you''

''Cool I'll text you when I leave''

So as said the first day of school Rachel stood in front of Quinn's house picking her up.

Present time…

''Hey Q are you excited for your first day of school. If you have any questions you can always ask me and then I'll probably ask Santana.'' But the last one she whispered but Santana heard anyway

Santana quickly stood on her tippy toes and gave Brittany a kiss on her lips giving a quick: ''Whatever you need babe''

''I can give you a tour of the school if you want to I'm really good at giving tours'' Brittany was very enthusiastic the show her best friend everything.

But apparently she wasn't the first person to think of this idea, Rachel also offered her to give her a tour of the school on the ride to the school.

''Uhm that's really sweet B thank you but Rachel also offered me the same thing and I already said yes sorry''

''That's okay maybe it's for the best I get confused easily anyway''

Brittany sadly said and Santana noticed. She knew Brittany wanted to show Quinn where she lived now she had been telling Santana about what she wanted to show Quinn and now Rachel is kind of taking over

For the past few weeks, the four of them have becoming closer and also Santana and Quinn kind of have things in common. Santana and Brittany knew when they we're together they are a handful lots of times. But so are Rachel and Quinn. Every time Brittany would ask Quinn to do something with her Quinn would say that she already had something with Rachel and then much to Isabella's delight Santana would come.

At first Brittany didn't know sure about it. She didn't want Santana to feel like a second choice but her girlfriend assured her that she wasn't feeling like that and that she could call anytime even if it is because someone else cancelled.

So because a lot of their plans couldn't go through but Brittany was really excited that she could show off her school. Yes she's easily confused but she's not stupid and this school is actually quite easier to remember than her last one.

Sensing that her girlfriend got upset Santana made a quick excuse that she had to talk to Rachel before class started.

''Rach what's going on? Are you and Quinn like I think?''

''No-no of course not why would you think that?''

''Because you've been spending a lot of time with her''

''So you have been spending a lot of time with Britt as well and I'm not complaining about that either am I?''

Santana knew Rachel had a short temper but it now sounded kind of defensive.

''I didn't mean it like that Rach you know that, but me and Britt are girlfriends and you've basically been spending as much time with Quinn as I am with Brittany''

''What's wrong with that?''

''Nothing is wrong with it Rachel I just notice that Brittany misses her best friend and she was really excited to show her the school''

''I'm sorry Santana, I didn't know that but I showed her the school when she was new too so I guess it was only logic that I did the same for Quinn''

''Yeah, I know I'm sorry I didn't want to seem rude or something but it's just I can see how sad it makes Britt and I don't like seeing her sad''

''It's okay I get that you love her''

''Yeah I really do I just don't like seeing her get hurt or sad while I can't do anything about it''

At that moment, the bell Rang and Rachel took off going to Quinn and together they walked off saying that Rachel would show her the classroom Quinn needed to go too.

Brittany looked at them sadly but her spirit came up once she saw her girlfriend walking towards her with a smile that she thinks is especially for her.

''Come on babe we've got Spanish next class and you know how we get in Spanish. Let me teach you some words the teacher won't'' and with a mischief smirk Santana grabbed Brittany's hand and together they walked through the classroom completely forgetting the other two who just walked off.

The morning went quite well and in lunchtime Brittany knew she had to go really soon but still needed to tell Santana who didn't have a clue.

They met up with Rachel and Quinn and went into the cafeteria.

Brittany knew she had to leave soon so she didn't get any food which didn't go unnoticed by her girlfriend.

''Hey babe, you tired? You want me to get some food for you?''

''No that's okay I have to go soon anyway''

Sensing that something was up Quinn was also coming over to the table with of course Rachel following.

''Sorry I just overheard you're conversation. Where are you going and who are you going with?'' Quinn could be quite a mom type when it came to her best friend

''Well that's the thing I'm not going alone. San do you maybe want to go with me?''

''I'll go anywhere with Britt but are we going?''

''I'm going to hear the heartbeat for the first time today and I love you San and I want you to be there with me''

'' .gosh'' without knowing a couple of tears dropped out of Santana's eyes which had Brittany worried. Maybe it was too fast?

''But if you don't want to go that's fine I'll will just call my mom and she will pick me up. I just thought that maybe you would like it''

''I would love to go with you babe. When do you need to go?''

''Within now and 5 minutes''

''Awesome, okay well, let's go then but wait let me get you a fruit cocktail you need to eat something. You need to keep your little baby healthy and I need to keep my baby healthy.'' she pecks Brittany on the lips and quickly walked away getting some fruits for her.

''Okay I got you some fruits and some orange juice let's go''

Santana and Brittany walked out hand in and out of the school cafeteria waving at the other two girls and saying a quick goodbye. After they left Quinn went to sit down on the bench sadly.

''What's wrong Quinn? Why do you so sad?''

''I'm sorry, I think I just have to get used to seeing Brittany with someone else. When Britt was pregnant with Isabella it was always me that came with her and now it's Santana that is going with her. But it doesn't mind I'm glad she's happy.'' She said giving a fake smile

And their day went on

Meanwhile with the other two….

''Uhm San there's one more thing that I have to tell you or show you but you can't drive so you will have to let me drive. I just need you to close your eyes so you don't know where we're going.''

''Britt are you sure you can drive? I don't want you to get hurt or tired.''

''Babe I'm sure I can ride now just get your little sweet ass in the passenger seat and close your eyes'' she gave Santana a pat on the butt and hearing a quiet : ''Whatever you say''

If there is one thing clear in this relationship that Santana was whipped.

So Brittany drove and Santana had her eyes closed not knowing where they where going. After car came to a halt Brittany quickly spoke up.

''Okay, I have to go really quick but I'll be back in a sec you can't move or open your eyes and I am going to put something down on your lap in a sec and try to not get scared''

''Well Britt with you saying that isn't really going to help anything. I don't know where I am and you tell me not to get scared you know that sometimes I get a little jumpy.

This made Brittany laugh she did know that Santana could be quite jumpy.

''I know babe but just trust me you will love it''

''Okay''

''But promise no opening your eyes''

''Okay Brit I won't open my eyes I promise''

With that promise Brittany quickly walked inside her own house which didn't go unnoticed by someone. Isabella came wobbling from the couch right into her mommy's legs.

She held her arms up and clenched and unclenched her hands waiting to be picked up which Brittany quickly did.

''Hey there baby were you good girl today?''

''I good mommy''

''Good job honey now let's go and surprise Sanny''

''Sanny?'' Isabella quickly looked around seeing as she could spot Santana but became sad when she couldn't.

''No Sanny''

''She isn't here baby, she's in the car so we're going to go to but she can't see you so you have to be really quiet'' she made a shushing sound she knew her daughter did understand.

Susan knew what was going on so when she came in she wasn't surprised that Isabella had wobbled to the front door

''Hey mom I am going but I'll make sure I will get you a recording I promise''

Just like last time when Britt's mom didn't go with her, Brittany promised to make a recording of the first heartbeat so she can let it hear to everyone. Maybe it is not the same as hearing it the first time but it kept being very special.

''Of course sweetheart I'm going to be working on something so I might not be home yet when you come back but I'm sure Santana can care for you like she always does'' Susan loved seeing her daughter being happy and taken care of.

''Haha very true mom but where you going? What you working on?''

''Nothing sweetheart it's just the beginning of something it's nothing''

''Okay well we're out good luck with whatever you get to do love you!''

''Love you too sweetheart and be good both of you and to Santana too''

The two blondes walked out with Isabella on Brittany's hip. She walked to the car and again made the shushing noise and her finger to her lips telling her to be quite.

But Isabella was quite excited to see Santana so she made a noise which Brittany quickly muscled by putting her hand to her mouth shaking her head telling her to be quiet just a little bit longer.

''Hey San, I told you it was just a second''

''Hey babe, got everything you need then or whatever you had to get?''

''Yep I sure did but it's kind of special so I kind of need you to hold it if that's okay with you''

''Yeah of course is it from glass?''

''Uhm not really but it is breakable I guess''

Brittany leaned down and put Isabella on Santana's lap

And to say to Santana got scared was an understatement because as soon as Isabella was on her lap she threw her arms around her neck which scared her even the most. So without hearing from Brittany if she was actually allowed to open her eyes she opened them anyway. And to her luck it was just the little Isabella

''Oh hey there sweetheart what a fun surprise! You coming with us?''

''I'm sorry if it didn't tell you San but I kind of promised her that I would take her to see you and what better way then to take her with us and it's actually good cause my mom had something to do, but what she was going to do was nothing now. I'm confused?

''I'm sure it's nothing babe probably adult stuff that we don't want to get yet, now let's get this party on the road''

They put Isabella in the back seat much to her protest but she needed to be safe plus the car ride wasn't that long so as soon as they came to a halt she was happily situated and settled in Santana's arms.

They went to the waiting room and waited together.

''Are you nervous Britt? Do you maybe know what kind of gender you want it to be?''

''No I'm not nervous, more excited to get to hear the baby's first heartbeat and to make it even more special because I got the two girls I love the most right here next to me. And for the gender I don't really mind I would love it anyway. What about you? If you girlfriend is going to have a baby what kind of gender would you like?''

''I don't mind either as long as it's healthy. And it's partly yours meaning even if it's a boy or girl it's going to be just as perfect as Isabella''

Hearing her name Isabella quickly perked up

''Me-me-me'' she said quickly pointing at herself

''Yeah sweetheart it is you very good'' Santana tickled her tummy which corrupted in a bunch of giggles from the little girl and Brittany just looked at her little family.

Their moment came to a halt when there was a doctor calling them in.

''Mrs. Pierce please come forward''

The trio stood up and walked behind the doctor into a room where she told Brittany to go lay down and Santana set on a stool next to it with Isabel on her lap.

''Hi there, my name is Doctor Manning. And I will be the doctor to help you with this pregnancy if that is alright with you''

''Yeah, that's fine we just want to hear the baby'' Brittany smiled at her. This doctor seemed nice.

''Yeah I get that I had the same thing happening when I got my baby boy''

''That's sweet what's his name?''

''His name is Owen''

''Cute name''

''Thank you. Uhm does the father want to be here too?''

''Uhm the baby doesn't have a father I am just taking care of it on my own''

''And I'll be helping her'' Santana quickly filled it she wasn't letting her girlfriend to this on her own.

''I get that I brought up my baby boy on my own as well. My husband died in the army before my baby boy was born. My friends helped me with everything as well. Now I've got a boyfriend and well Owen doesn't seem to like him very much yet.'' Doctor Manning left remembering her son even threw a brick at his head

''I had the same thing as well with Isabella. She's my first born and Santana over here is my girlfriend but the two of them seem quite the pair.''

''Yeah I can see that it's really sweet''

''Thank you'' she was glad that everyone could see how awesome her girlfriend was with her daughter.

''Well let's see and let's hear your baby. Are you ready?''

Brittany quickly grabbed Santana's hand and said: ''yes we're ready''

Doctor Manning just did a few things and there were a lot of silence but the silence quickly filled up with a very soft beating sound.

Because Brittany has been through this before she knew that this was the heartbeat but because it wasn't so loud Santana didn't notice yet.

But that didn't take long. Santana look at Brittany and saw tears streaming down she quickly wiped them away and gave it quick kiss on the forehead but she didn't really notice why she was crying yet she didn't even hear anything yet but the volume turned up and then she heard it. The heartbeat there it was.

Tears also start streaming down her face she look at Brittany once more and gave her a megawatt smile.

''Well girls I know that you both care a lot so I'm going say it to you straight up the baby is healthy. It look good. The heartbeat is very good. You want me to download it so you can take it home with you?''

''Yes please that would be awesome thank you so much''

''That's alright. I'll go get it for you so you can have some time on your own.

Santana look at Isabella while she just look around not having clue what is going on. They did tell her that she was getting a little baby brother or sister but she didn't understand this yet.

''You see that sweetheart and you hear that that's your little baby brother or sister'' Santana told her brushing some hair out of the little girl face and planting a kiss on her forehead.

The tree looked at each other and smiled and right they were just saving the moment of hearing the heartbeat for the first time together.

As a family.

Since it was my birthday I wanted to do something sweet and special so they heard the first heartbeat yay!
