CH 11
The next morning, Jack and Sam woke up at the same time; when they opened their eyes they turned their heads to look at each other.
"Are you ok?" Jack asked.
"Yes, we are, you too?"
"Yeah, Lantash was pissed off with what they got planned for you and revealed himself and looked what happened"
"Good morning" they turned to see three different guys looking at them as they sat up.
"Where are we?" Sam asked, as they both sat up on the bed.
"Las Vegas, there has been a change of plans"
"What do you mean?" Jack asked.
The guy threw Jack a box; when he and Sam looked at it and to each other they knew it was their wedding rings. Then they turned to the guys who were grinning.
"You want us to get married?"
"Yep, and since we got your dress blues here, all you are going to do Colonel is go and get you marriage license and meet us at the 'wedding bells chapel'. Two of my men will be going with you, you leave with them in an hour while the captain comes with me so she can get a dress" then there was a knock on the door.
The leader walked over and opened it to see who it was, then he opened it further to let four men and two women in the room. One was carrying Jack's dress blues while another was carrying two bags.
"Good, you're on time" then he turned to Sam.
"Come on, you can see the Colonel later" Sam stood up and looked around.
"Come on"
"I need to go to the bathroom first if that is ok with you?"
"Ok, just hurry up" Sam walked over to the bathroom and closed the door.
"I hope some one brought breakfast with them because Sam gets cranky in the mornings"
"We will stop by some place after she got her dress" Jack nodded.
"Are you the host talking or the Goa'uld?"
"Host, Lantash is still sleeping, but when he wakes up and notices I haven't had anything to eat, he will be pissed off"
"Lantash, so that's the Goa'uld name, unusual for the Goa'uld to let the host take control"
"Cause it's not a Goa'uld, it's a Tok'ra; they are different from the Goa'uld"
"To me they're not"
"Tok'ra takes willing hosts, Goa'uld don't" then the bathroom door opened and Sam walked out.
"Good, lets go"
Sam walked over to the door and walked out of it with three men behind her. Jack watched Sam walk out of the room. Once the door was closed, Jack got up and walked into the bathroom so he could relieve himself and wash his hands before walking back into the room.
He walked over and opened his bag since he recognized it and got a change of clothes out; then he turned and walked back into the bathroom, he stopped at the door and turned to the ones in the room.
"Can someone get me some breakfast, I know you two" he pointed to two of the guys.
"Haven't had any; I can hear your stomachs from here" then he walked into the bathroom and closed the door.
On their way to a bridal shop, they went through a McDonalds drive through where the driver asked Sam, who was in the back seat, what she wanted. She told the guy what she wanted so he placed the order, and he ordered some coffee for the rest of them.
Once done they drove up the window where the driver payed for the food and drinks. When the guy passed the food to the driver he noticed a gun in the holster sticking out. Then as he stepped back he looked in the back seat to see two guys and a women. The women leaned forward when the guy passed her the bag before driving away. The guy eyes widened then he opened the window and got the license plate number; then he closed the window and got another worker to take over while he went to see the manager.
"Glen, can you call the cops?"
"Why, is there a robbery?"
"No, remember yesterday braking news about the two Air Force officers who were kidnapped?"
"Yes, what about it?"
"I just saw the captain with four guys, the driver got a gun" then he picked up a pen and wrote down the license plate number and pass it to his boss.
"Are you sure?"
"Check the drive through security camera"
The manager got up and walked over to a computer and did some typing then he saw what happened.
"There" the worker said. The guy paused the photo shot of Sam.
"Oh my god" then he walked over to his desk and called the police.
"Did you get a good look at the driver?"
"Yes, and the guy in the passenger seat"
"Good" the manager spoke to the LVPD about the sighting of Sam.
While Jack was enjoying a hot shower it woke Lantash up, they both talked about what had happened since he woke up and what was happening to him and Sam. Afterwards Jack finished his shower and got out and dressed. He walked out to see that someone was missing from the room. He walked over and put his clothes into his bag then sat down and looked at them.
"Is there any time for me to go to a barber shop for a hair cut and shave?"
"Sure"
"Thanks" They were quiet for fifteen minutes till there was a knock on the door.
One of the guys went to answer it. It was the missing agent. She walked in with four bags and two-cup holders full of coffee. She put it on the table then they all opened up and pulled everything out. One guy picked up Jack's breakfast and walked over and passed it to him.
"Thanks" then he walked back over to get his.
When the car Sam was in stopped outside of a bridal shop, one guy and Sam got out and walked into the shop.
"Remember you got half an hour" he whispered to Sam. Sam walked around looking at the different dresses till she found the one both her and Jolinar like so she walked over to the changing room and tried it on. When she walked out of the changing rooms she was holding onto the train.
When she was close to the mirror she let the train go then moved till she could see herself in the mirror. When the guy who was watching her walked out in the dress he was shocked, he couldn't believe that it was the same person. A women walked over to Sam with a smile on her face.
"Hello, can I help you with anything?"
"Hi, have you got this in white or ivory edging?"
"Yes, when are you getting married?"
"This morning"
"Ok, when you get change I'll have the dress waiting for you, would you like the match veil to go with it?"
"Yes, thank you"
"Ok, which one, white or ivory?"
"Ivory, same with the veil"
"Sure" then she looked at the tag then walked away.
Sam bend down and pick up the train and walked back into the dressing room and got changed. Once changed she put the dress back and walked over to the counter to see the woman walking out from the back rooms with the dress and veil.
"This is the one you asked for" Sam smiled.
"Yes, thanks"
"I think with your hair, may I suggest a head band. Here this one would suite you" She pick up a crystal and rhonesone head band and pass it to Sam.
"Thank you"
"What about shoes?"
"Oh, what have you got?" the women showed Sam what shoes they had got.
Sam picked the ones Jolinar liked so she tried them on and walked around, then she took them off and passed them to the women.
"I'll take them, thanks"
"Ok"
She walked back to the counter and put everything into bags and boxes while Sam put her shoes and socks on. She walked up to the counter and passed the women her credit card.
'Hopefully this will alert the Pentagon to where we are' Sam said.
'I hope so, too'
After Sam signed the slips the women passed Sam her credit card and receipt. After Sam put them away back into her wallet, she picked up her bags and thanked the women before walking out the door. She walked over to the car where one of the guys was standing outside of it and passed him the bags.
"I'll be right back, I still got ten minutes" then she started to walk across the road when the guy stopped her.
"Where are you going, back to the car!"
"I need a bouquet" he looked across the road to see a florist there.
"Ok, time is ticking" then they walked across the road and into the shop.
Sam looked around, there was real and artificial bouquets. She picked up a white and ivories rose teardrop bouquet, then she walked up to the counter and paid for it, then they walked out of the shop and across the road. They got back into the car and headed back to the hotel. Sam looked at her watch.
"Three minutes to spare" she said smiling, then they drove back to the hotel.
When it was time, Jack put his tie and jacket on. Then he grabbed his wallet before he left with the three guys; Jack was hoping that if he used his credit card it would alert the Pentagon on where they were.
Jacob was talking to Daniel and Teal'c out side, when Daniel's phone rang; he looked at it.
"It's SGC" then he answered it.
"Dr. Jackson"
"Dr. Jackson, it's General Hammond, can I speak to Jacob"
"Sure" he passed the phone to Jacob.
"It's General Hammond"
"George, what's up?"
"I've heard from Major Davis, the men you picked out, we got names and records of them"
"That's good news, but it still doesn't tell us where Jack and Sam are" then he heard a knock at the door.
"Come" Jacob could hear everything. The door opened.
"Sir, I've got Major Davis on line one sir, he's got a lead"
"Thanks Walter" then the door closed.
"Jacob, can you hold the line"
"Sure" then he heard music.
"Good news so far, Major Davis got names to the ones who were in the house and their profiles"
"That is good news," Daniel said.
"There's more, George is talking to Major Davis, they've got a lead"
"Well, I hope it's not a dead end"
"Jacob, still there?"
"Yes, Daniel and Teal'c are still with me"
"Sam's and Jack's credit cards have been used"
"What, where?"
"Las Vegas; from the receipts, it looks like the NID want them to get married, it showed Sam use her credit card at a florist and bridal shop there, and Jack used his to pay for a marriage license"
"Damn, any ideas where they would be getting married?"
"Don't know, by the time we do find them, the NID could be on the move again"
"At least we know where they are and that they are alive"
"True, I'll keep you posted"
"Thanks George" then they hung up.
"It a shame we can't beam ourselves to Las Vegas" Daniel said.
"I know, but the question is where to"
"Good point"
When Sam and the four guys returned back to the hotel room, Sam put her things onto the bed, then she opened her bag and looked to see what they got there. She pulled out what she needed, then walked to the bathroom.
"I'm going to take a shower" then she walked in and closed the door.
Sam enjoyed her hot shower. When finished, she put her underwear on and then she combed her hair and put her make up on the best she could and cleaned her teeth and put some perfume on. Then she warped a towel around herself before walking out of the bathroom.
She walked over and took her wedding dress out with the frill underlay, and then she looked at the guys.
"Ah, can you turn around please while I get dressed"
"No funny business"
"I know"
They turned around while Sam took her wedding dress and managed to get into it the best she could.
"I need some help here" they turned around and one of the guys walked over to her.
"Zip me up please" he walked around the back and zipped her up and hooked the top together.
"Thanks"
Then she got her veil and headband out, Then she hooked them up.
She then walked over to where a mirror was and put her headband on and smiled. Then she walked back over to the bed where she put her shoes on then open her jewelry bag and got out pearl earrings that belonged to her mother which was passed down to her.
Sam put them in, then she picked up a box and opened it; inside was a three heart shape blue topaz set in upside down 18ct white gold three leaf clover setting with a diamond in the middle. Sam remembered Jack brought it for Sam for her birthday last year. She took it out of the box and put it on.
"It's time" Sam turned to them.
"Have any of you got something I can borrow?"
"What for?"
"You know the bridal saying, something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue"
"Oh who cares, lets go" then she saw one of the guys was wearing a bracelet.
"Hey, can I borrow your bracelet" she said to the guy, he looked down at it and took it off and passed it to Sam.
"I'll want it back"
"You will" Sam pulled it on the she picked up her bouquet and her train.
"Now I'm ready" they walked out of the room and into the SUV, then they were on their way to the wedding chapel.
