A Marine's Discovery

Inside the barracks on the "First Light" a UNSC marine is looking through a laptop that was purchased from the stores in Japan. Thanks to the creation of dummy accounts by the A.I.s to the UNSC personnel gets some R&R if permitted by the Captain and in small groups to avoid detection.

The marine is grumbling at the computer screen. Scrolling through news, entertainment, etc. But the young marine is irritated at the computer. The reason is that most of the sites are related to Pro-Heroes. Every movie is a hero theme, tv shows the same thing, even shopping items have a theme of different heroes. And what's pissing off the marine most is that everything before the emergence of quirks, history, documentaries, and entertainment are almost barren almost gone.

"GAH!" The marine cried out.

"Problem private." Sargent Mike asked.

"It's nothing, the fact that any historical information before quirks is nearly nonexistent." The private explains.

The Sargent nodded acknowledging the private dilemma. Even the A.I.s Prinny and Auntie Dot are befuddled by the missing history of this earth when they did a worldwide hacking to collect information about their situation.

"So I all have to throw a curveball that the change happened around the 21st century." The private then sigh. "Screw it, I use my data pad." He close the laptop then brought a small electronic device that looks like a touch phone from the 21st century but more advanced.

"Alright then… show me our 21st century anime…" the marine told himself, scrolling down different anime till he stops and stares at the screen.

"Wait… what the fuck…"

"My… Hero… Academia…" he read the title and picture of the show.

"Holy shit."

"Private Martin?"

The now named Martin then hands him the pad and Mike reads the title. Mike has been surprised by this information.

"Sargent…"

"Yes private?"

"..."

"We need to alert the captain."

If not IX404 put in fact some universes are based on a another universe entertainment like in chapter 5 of Halo:Termination and chapter 2-5 of Battletech: The Mass Effect.
