The students of Casper High had been enjoying the flight towards Norrisville all the way till it landed. It was a crazy thing, as the city was on the other side of the continent. This new school program was introduced a few years back: the North American Educational Expansion Perspective Study. While normal for a school program, Danny and his friends were quite surprised at the list of schools eligible for the program. There was even one in Canada.

The students had landed, taking in the city's sights, particularly of the mechanical apes that could be found every now and then. People just waved at them, treating them like normal folks, but Sam, ever the protester, call one a "corporate lackey" and followed everyone into the bus to the hotel.

"Gotta admit, this is pretty sweet. A free ride to Norrisville. It could be like a vacation," Tucker said, viewing out the window.

Sam scoffed.

"Oh please, a vacation from what? Our fellow classmates, who are joining? Besides, Norrisville is home to one of the vilest companies in America," Sam said in her usual cynical way.

The ghost boy said nothing during this exchange. He was staring out the window, watching the scenery. After a few days of some near-constant ghost fighting, he just wanted to relax.

Especially since he was already starting to miss Felicia. There were even some hours where he zoned out and imagined himself with the blonde girl. Her perfect smile was a soothing image and managed to keep the boy together.

Felicia. Danny thought dreamily. He wasn't the only one missing his girlfriend.

Every now and then, Tucker would act the same. Video dates with Velma were nice, but he missed her greatly and wanted to change schools.

Ah, to be young and in love.

Felicia... Danny thought, all lovesick.

Velma... Tucker thought in the same manner.

"Oh, joy..." Sam muttered, seemingly aware of her friends' thoughts. She glanced out the bus window, her heart aching in bitter silence.

The ghost boy snapped out of his thoughts as he heard names. Specifically, his and Felicia's. And they were accompanying rumors. About him

"Oh, great." He thought as his ears pucked up the following.

"Seriously, there's no way Fenton could score a hottie like that. I say he used one of his parents' gadgets to brainwash her."

"That's crazy, Dash."

"Yeah, she probably is part of a game show. Where they prank losers."

"There's no way she's dating Fenton without a good reason."

"That chick is weird. She probably doesn't even follow the latest fashion."

"Still, she is SO hot!"

"Super hot!"

"Too hot for Fentoastski."

"I betcha she's an alien princess."

"Nah! She has to be some kind of robot."

"Or a spy. Maybe even a mermaid."

"Yeah, right."

Danny heard all this and shook his head, annoyed. While he understood the jealousy, the rumors he heard every now and then were too crazy, even for him.

One of them involved ghosts, clowns, and a rubber ducky. He didn't even want to know how that started.

Can't they just mind their own business? He thought, annoyed.

He and Felicia like each other. Why is that so hard to understand?

It had to be more than hormones since they all had a brain. Save for certain members of the football team.

"Maybe she's no big deal like this town," Paulina commented off-hand. She did not like Felicia one bit and could not let her continue being today's topic.

"Says you!" The jock retaliated. "I heard this place has a ninja."

Paulina rolled her eyes. Her nails seemed more interesting to her. But, that got Danny's attention as he tapped on his lovestruck friend's shoulder.

"Hey, Tucker," he said, shaking the boy a bit. That worked as Tucker gave an angry glance before noticing his friends. "Is there really a ninja in Norrisvile?"

Tucker pulled out his PDA and looked it up. After a few moments, he showed Danny and Danny pictures of a black-suited figure with some red added.

"According to the internet, Norrisville has had ninja sightings dating back 800 years, but it was only 200 years ago that the sightings were more public."

"Guess now we know their tourist trap," Sam snarked.

"Actually, there have been sightings of monsters too," Tucker added, showing photos of figures ranging in lanky, hulking, scary, and sometimes grotesque features.

"And robot attacks," he added, with pictures depicting metal monstrosities.

"Please, those are just people in costumes, courtesy of McFist Industries."

"After everything we've seen?"

Sam stared blankly at her tech-loving friend.

"Well, I'm sending the photos to Velma," Tucker said, typing away on his PDA. He had sent the photos when he noticed his friend's glare. "What?"

"You know all of this is a gimmick by McFist Industries, right?" Sam snarked.

"And the ninja?" Danny asked.

"Yeah, he can't be part of the gimmick," Tucker added.

Their goth friend wasn't convinced.

"Oh please, what kind of ninja fights in broad daylight?" Sam snarked.

Danny shrugged.

"Anything can happen," He said as the bus ride continued.

School was over today as two boys entered Greg's Game Hole for Gina no relaxation.

"Cunningham, you gotta stop this," the fat boy said.

"Howard, I can't. This new foe has me on edge. It's like lucks not in my favor with her," Randy said, hitting the arcade buttons harder than he should.

"No, I mean you gotta stop. You beat the game about thirty minutes ago."

"Oh," Randy said, noticing he had been blankly staring at a screen thing him of his victory. Behind him, a small line had been forming. Nobody heard the boy, mainly because their heads were in portable screens, luckily. "Sorry, but...it has been a rough few days..."

No one replied, not even Howard, who just took a sip of his drink.

Randy just slipped away, grateful no one heard him. His friend followed shortly before leading him.

"You know what'll take your mind off of her? Getting some chos for your bro," Howard said, smiling at the prospect of food unless the ingredients were super organic. A weakness in his stomach.

Randy shook off his friend. More concerned with his new threat. He went out back of the store, where Greg threw his garbage. Due to some odd reason, the pile had become its own tiny junkyard.

"I'm not buying you chos," Randy stated matter-o-factory. "I need to do something about this new person."

Howard gasped dramatically. It was like his whole had shattered. Again. While his friend was in deep thought, the boy glared for a moment before something came to mind.

"Or give her my number," Howard commented, earning him a glare. "Hey, you said it yourself. She is spicy."

"What the juice, Howard," Randy muttered as they walked back in.

"Now, about those chos for your bro."

Randy rolled his eyes and

His mind was still worried about his newest enemy and how unlucky he has been lately when they cross paths.

"There's got to be a way to—wait a minute! This calls for a sloop into the Ninjanomicon!" Randy thought out loud.

Taking out a book from his jacket, Randy opened up and soon collapsed onto the floor, leaving his friend glaring once again.

"You owe me nachos," Howard gruffed.

Randy feel through what would be a cutout sky, as clouds of painted paper broke parts of his fall. Landing with a thud, the boy got up, seeing himself in a small feudal-era Japanese town.

"Alright, Nomicon, I got this new foe around, and I need some help with her. What d'ya got?"

The boy watched as a ninja cutout did battle with a drawn-out Minotaur. The battle was fierce as the ninja was having trouble keeping up.

Randy was on the edge of his seat as he watched. Almost scared for the cutout, the boy wanted to run and help until another warrior joined the fight.

This man was more prepared for the beast as he helped the ninja defeat the creature. As the Minotaur fell, the ink came from its wound and spelled–

New foes bring allies as allies bring new foes.

Once again, Randy was confused by the wisdom of the Nomicon.

"I hear you, Nomicon, but what does that mean in helping me?" Rand said, but he didn't get an answer as his consciousness was warped back into his body.

Randy woke up in the alley. His friend had waited there, staring at the boy.

"So...nachos?"

After settling in, the Casper high students arrived at Norrisville high and mingled with the school's local students.

Well, some of them were. Some didn't care about the event, while others tried to go through the motions like any other day. The only students to partake in the socialist were those who volunteered to help, student council, popular kids, or those on the yearbook or newspapers committee.

Casper high's elite took part, even though Dash was put off by his counterpart, Bash.

"Hey, those at those guys. They go to a different school. Let's laugh at 'em," the large boy, Bash, demanded. His insults made Dash question his jock hood as he heard them.

"Hey, other player guy! You! You...can't throw!"

"Yes...I can," Dash answered awkwardly.

"Well...you can't throw far! Hahahaha!"

The local jock's vocabulary and behavior were off-putting for Dash. Shivers when down his spine as he humored a thought of becoming like Bash.

Team Phantom stared in disbelief as Danny smack his head. Tucker recorded everything on his PDA with Sam rubbing her temples.

"Great, an even dumber Dash," the ghost boy snarked. He watched as the two jocks attempt some form of manly debate. Attempt was a strong word as Bash's vocabulary was greatly lacking compared to Dash's. This included the blonde quarterback's intellect.

"Yeah, well, our team has more bigger guys than you!" Dash retaliated, in failure.

"But we got fish guy, better than your birdie!" Bash replied.

Danny and his friends waited in boredom for the event to begin properly. Being in the sunlight was slightly unnerving for the goth girl, especially in a town she dubbed a corporate wasteland on the ride over.

Sam looked into her pack back, which held a picket fence for protests.

"All the people know is what is placed in front of them by McFist industries. Afraid of the light of truth," Sam snarked. She studied the student body.

"Says the girl who hides from the sunlight," Danny teased. It got a rise from the goth girl as the boy flashed a small smile. It was enough to elicit a blush from the girl.

Darn it! The girl mentally cursed herself. Although she wishes to inform the city's public, another part of her could be excited by the boy, even if he had gotten the better of her right now.

"So, I take it you want to be in the sunlight?" Tucker teased as he wiggles his eyebrows.

Sam would have retaliated had things not quiet down as both schools' principals walked onto a stage. Principal Ishiyama stood with a tall, lanky man whose dress code screamed principal.

"Greetings, students of Casper High. I, Principal Slimovitz, welcome you to our humble school as part of the North American Educational Expansion Perspective Study, or NAEEPS, if you will."

The man spoke in a. More jovial tone than Principal Ishiyama could appear to be, though his use of an acronym as a word had some students rolling their eyes.

Oh great, another happy-go-lucky corporate teacher. Sam thought, unimpressed.

Meanwhile, Bucky Hensletter was rushing to the gym, hoping not to be late. The boy was extremely nervous, as he didn't want a mark on his permanent record. Even if it was a small one. Along the way, he noticed some green gassy substance leaking from the vent and stopped.

"Huh, this seems strangely familiar," the band geek commented as he was enveloped in the stuff and fell to the ground. He felt his body change as his skin turned a deep blue shade.

"Definitely...familiar...agggh!"

"As such, I'd like to remind you that there are no more malfunctioning machines or monster attacks. Now I wish to show you, students, how we learn things up here in Norrisville," Principal Slimovitz ended his speech with an enthusiastic arm swing.

"Thank you...for that incredible, yet dated, speech, Principal Slimovitz," Principal Ishiyama said professionally. Though she muttered the middle part.

The Casper students were bored or apathetic. Even Dash wanted to go back to arguing with Bash.

"Is there anything to do here?" Sam loudly complained.

As if on cue, a large purple monster with large forearms crashed through the walls. He roared loud enough for the whole town to hear. His budging eye balls fluttered as his head shook.

"Monster!? Again!?" Principal Slimovitz screamed, pointing at the beast.

The students took the time to pause, wondering if this was a set up before noticing the purple beast throw part of the wall over them.

"Dude! It's an actual monster! Again!" Screamed a random student.

Everyone then panicked, along with the Casper High students. New to a monster situation, everyone assumed it would be the same as a ghost attack, but still ran around similar to chickens.

"You gotta be kidding me?" Dash screamed as he and the jocks ran.

"I wish my darling ghost boy was here to save me!" Paulina cried out.

Every student was running and screaming—all but a few.

"Is that Bucky?" Randy asked, squinting his eyes. "I mean, it looks like he's been stanked, but it's been so long."

Randy looks on in interest only to be elbowed in the leg by Howard. The shorter boy had an angry look on his face.

"Aren't you gonna...?" Howard gestured to the door with a small scowl.

"Right! Ninja time!" Randy said, running to the hiding area. Putting on his mystical mask, the boy was dressed in his barns and ready for action.

Meanwhile, the Norrisville students screamed as Casper High's student body stared in shock.

Bucky rampaged as he grabbed hold of everything, including part of the bleachers. He flung the damaged seat through a wall outside, where the object landed on a spot that always was destroyed when these events happened. Principal Slimovitz's car.

"My car!" The man screamed as per the norm while he ran. "Again!"

The monster continued his rampage, most people had evacuated the area. Sam, on the other hand, was flabbergasted as she ran.

"How the heck has this been going on for hundreds of years, but nobody came to stop them!?" Sam cried out in observance.

"The same reason people like you thought the Ninja wasn't real," Debbie Kang snarked.

The goth fiend to glare at the girl, only to notice the major height difference.

"You're...short."

"And you're a goth, or trying to be."

"Excuse me?!" Sam said, insulted.

Tucker grabbed the girls by the shoulders as he dragged them away. Sam didn't care as she glared at the other girl, who was more interested in the monster and struggled to get out.

"You want to go AWAY from the monster fights! Trust me," Tucker said, pointing to the rampaging monster.

"These monster attacks have been happening for centuries. We thought they finally stopped," Debbie said.

"Seriously, if this stuff had been happening for hundreds of years, why didn't Skyway Patrol or other legal forces at the time stop this?" Tucker asked, screaming.

"No jurisdiction," Debbi snarked. "It must have been a really great idea to illegalize supers back then. Good thing we still have the Ninja."

That got Sam to growl.

"There is no ninja! It's just a corporate scam McFist does to make more money!" Sam cried out.

"Smoke bomb!" Cried the Ninja as he appeared in a puff of smoke.

The Norrisville locals cheered in joy as the Casper high teens stared in surprise.

"He's real!?" Sam said, noticing the smug look on Debbie Kang's face. "Shut it."

The smaller girl said nothing at all but started taking photos.

"Alright, Bucky! It is you, right? Anyway, let's—"

The Ninja did get to finish as Bucky interrupted with his arms swinging. He sent the garbed warrior through the school's wall as some students winced at the attack and the large chunk missing from the side.

"Probably should just skip the roar play," Randy remarked, slightly dizzy.

Shaking off the feeling, he ran forward with sword drawn.

Bucky charged ahead like a gorilla. He leaped in the air with the Ninja as the two were about to clash, only for an ectobeam to knock Bucky out of the sky.

"What the juice!?" The Ninja cried out as Danny Phantom flew into the scene.

While the students and staff of Casper High were grateful, especially a certain popular girl, they couldn't help wondering what their hero was doing here so far away.

"Whats Danny Phantom doing way out here?" Dash asked.

"He came for me!" Paulina shouted excitedly.

"This is going to make the headline in today's edition of Norrisville High Gazette Times Tribune Weekly Daily Press Chronicle online edition!" Debbie exclaimed, counting the words with her fingers.

Sam and Tucker gawked at the scene happening. Despite everything they had seen, this was still an unexpected predicament.

Danny and Randy both gawked at each other, stunned.

A ninja? Danny thought while Randy sent him a suspicious look.

"Who the juice are you?" the Ninja asked.

"Uh, Danny Phantom," the ghost boy said. The two heroes stared at each other in silence as the monster struggled to stand on the ice. "I'm sorry, but...you're real?"

"Yeah, I am..." Randy said, sounding insulted.

Danny noticed this and didn't want a misunderstanding here.

"I didn't mean anything by it. I just...yeah..." Danny explained terribly.

Randy, a bit ticked off, sent the ghost boy a glare. Danny didn't mean any harm or insult but couldn't think of apologizing for thinking someone was not real. It was like the tooth fairy, Easter, sandman, and Santa Claus. Though the boy didn't want to be arguing right now.

Before he could talk, the monster roaring, and the boys realized that they still had a situation.

"Got any experience dealing with monsters?..."Randy asked.

Danny smirked.

"Lots..."He said as his hands and eyes glowed.

Randy accepted it and turned to the monster.

"Then let's get him," He said as he pulled out his sword and descended on Bucky.

Danny flew it with an ice blast painting the ground. Bucky ran forwards and slipped but managed to counter-attack the Ninja with his twin sais out.

"Bucky! I really don't have time for this!" Randy shouted.

Bucky didn't care and flung his fists at the Ninja. The two stood their ground as Danny rushed in for a sucker punch. The monsterized band geek saw the ghost boy with one of his blushed out eyes and spun like a top.

"Look out!" Danny warned, and Randy managed to dodge in time, somersaulting backwards a few times before landing with a flip.

"He's tough," Danny commented. He kept his distance.

"Even the band geeks are tough when they're turned into monsters," Randy said.

"So, what's the plan?"

"We have to destank him."

Danny blinked.

"I'm sorry...what?"

Bucky, being impatient, jumped forward, and separated the two. He swung and smashed everything in sight with his large arms as he tried to destroy the two.

Danny and Randy managed to dodge his attack.

"I mean we have to destroy that which he holds most dear," Randy explained.

"And that'll change him back!?" Danny asked.

Luckily, the shadow warrior managed to spot what he was looking for.

"There! Bucky's back-up, back-up dinger!" Randy said as he pointed at the monster's belt.

Danny heard this and nodded. He flew under then over, delivering a punch right up Bucky's jaw. This had the boy tumbling backwards, allowing Randy to snatch the object with his scarf before slicing it in half. With Bucky's precious back-up, back-up dinger destroyed, the spell on his dissipated, and the boy turned back to normal.

Well, for the band geek, that is.

"What happened?" Bucky groaned, feeling a headache. "Did I turn into a monster again?"

Danny let out a sigh of relief as the boy fainted.

"Is it always like this in Norrisville?" the ghost boy asked.

However, before Randy could say or do anything, he noticed something in the halls. A shadow accompanied by a familiar smell that belonged to something, or rather someone, familiar.

No honking way! It's her! He thought as he then rushed past the ghost boy.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Danny asked.

The Ninja didn't answer as he jetted through the door and down the halls. His face was full of determination.

"Oh, no, you don't! Not this time!" The Ninja declared as he gave chase.

"Hey! Wait for me!" Danny said, following. He was not going to let the boy do things alone if he could help.

The halls of the school were filled with the sound of footsteps. The quiet steps of the Ninja with the ghost boy flying accompanied the softer footsteps as the boys got closer.

"What's going on?" Danny asked as the boys got closer.

"It's her. She's back," Ninja said. The boy looked around before he turned. "Follow me. I know a shortcut."

After some twists and turns, Danny was getting impatient, but his ninja friend stopped in front of his target before he could ask. There, Danny gasped when he saw who the Ninja had been chasing.

"Black Cat?" Danny said in shock.

To both his and the Ninja's surprise, Black Cat went wide-eyed and jumped onto the ghost boy.

"Danny!" the thief squeed.

"Whoa!" Danny let out as she suddenly clung to him. The girl held his face as they locked eyes.

"I missed you," Black Cat in honesty.

"Wha—" Danny said but didn't finish, as the thief kissed him.

While the ghost boy stood in shock, parts of him were melting. The kiss was different from others. Her lips were still soft, but it seemed more loving than usual. Something the girl was unaware of at the moment.

The Ninja's jaw dropped as he saw this.

Part of Danny told him to ignore the kiss and fight, but having been away from his girlfriend for so long made everything else shut down. The boy could not resist returning the kiss for a second before realizing he had a girlfriend. It was then he pushed his not-girlfriend off.

Once Black Cat jumped off, the ghost boy was dazed with a smirk forming. It wasn't long before a certain shinobi called him out on it.

"I am ashamed, Phantom!" Ninja said before he changed his tone to a whine. "I thought you're the good guy!"

"I am!" Danny defended. He charged his fist and glared at the thief. Taking notice, Randy held his sword at the girl.

But Black Cat just continued her googly eyes.

"He is. He just loves bad girls."

"You have to be very pretty for that!" Danny snapped.

Black Cat sent him a faux-pout and bent forward slightly with a leg angled and hands on her waist. She gave a coy face with her chest puffed out.

"You don't think I'm pretty?" the thief teased, outlining her body.

The two boys stared for a moment. Danny, used to the treatment, shook it off before shaking the Ninja. The masked boy spoke in gibberish as he defended his actions. All he got was a smug stare from the ghost boy.

"Alright, so she's hot!" the Ninja admitted, speaking coherently now.

"Not so easy, is it?" Danny quipped with a smirk.

"Believe me, he's been like this the whole time," Black Cat giggled before frowning. "It's not been fun having things easy."

"Hey!" Randy retorted, only to speak gibberish again when Black Cat flipped her hair with a wink.

Danny ignored that as he focused on the female thief.

"What are you talking about, Black Cat? And what are you doing here?" Danny demanded.

"Oh, the usual. Got hired for a job, had to steal something. You know the drill," Black Cat said with a shrug.

Danny rolled his eyes as he channeled ectoenergy. Randy, now in discombobulated, got out his tonfas. Their thief was already into them as she swung a kick across the boys' faces and ran.

"Gotta say, you sure know how to plan a surprise date, Phantom. But I gotta run. Maybe next time," Black Cat said with a wink.

The Ninja looked stunned and turned to the ghost boy.

"You actually dated her?" Randy exclaimed, sounding stunned and maybe even jealous.

"NO! She just calls them that! Besides, I have a girlfriend," Danny said.

"And I'm sure she's jealous of us," Felicia said with a coy giggle. She flashed a smile that made the Ninja a stuttering drooling fool. It was too easy for her, and therefore, no fun.

And she wasn't the only one to know of her charm and skill.

Unbeknownst to the thief and shinobi, a few cameras had caught their fight last time. And that footage was now being reviewed within the confines of McFist Headquarters.

"Sir," Viceroy, McFist's mad scientist, called out as he came into the office. He wore a smile with his indigo and light purple outfit. "I know you've been a bit down since the sorcerer's been gone, but I think I found something that'll cheer you up."

"What is it!?" His boss demanded. He grabbed the McFist Pad out of Viceroy's hands. He was giddy like a child on Christmas Eve, but his face fell once he saw the contents of his present.

"The Ninja vs. Black Cat...seen it," McFist waved off.

The walk walked out of his desk and to the window. The view seemed more important, or less boring, right now.

"Sir, we have someone who easily outfought the Ninja, and you're just going to ignore it?"

His boss merely sent him an unimpressed look.

"Yes," McFist bluntly. Viceroy just gawked at him. "Don't give me that look. While I hate the guy, it's hard to want to kill him when I don't get anything out of it. Now that the Sorceror is gone."

"But, sir! this Black Cat is—" He was cut off by his boss's ranting.

"Oh please, all that cat does is fight while the Ninja has a bad case of bad luck !" McFist yelled. "How are we supposed to be that lucky!?"

The businessman turned to his mechanical right arm, which held a monkey brain in it for some reason. The eyeballs rolled inside, seemingly in agreement. McFist decided to get back to other things, such as a call from his wife, Marcy, on hold.

As his boss walked away, Viceroy couldn't help thinking about what was said. The Valedictorian Mad Scientist mulled other his next brilliant robot.

"Hmmm...bad luck, huh?" Viceroy mumbled to himself with a grin.

The Ninja's next foe would be the deadliest so far. Not to mention a real good luck charm for the company.

The boys continued their fight with Black Cat, but they found it difficult. Even with the odds in their favor.

Black Cat ran as she outmaneuvered the boys. She thought back to how one of her clients called for her to steal something. The only problems were that there was little to know about this something, and she still had to deal with homework and projects from Horizon High. And there was a big project presentation coming up, she had to refuse.

But her client was persistent, saying she was best suited for the job. And with some help from said client, she managed to pull off coming to the other side of the states for a heist.

"The things I do," Black Cat muttered to herself as she ran.

Meanwhile, Tucker and Sam waited in the schoolyard, listening to the latest gossip: The Ninja getting help from Danny Phantom.

"Wow...it's like nobody here has anything better to do than wait and watch," Sam snarked.

"Not that different from Amity," Tucker muttered. He glanced up to see someone walking to the front of the crowd.

It was some girl with orange hair and a tall figure. She was perky with her portable webcam attached to her visor and McFist Pad.

"Um, excuse me? What are you doing?" Tucker asked.

"Ummm...I'm Norrisville's top blogger. So, what does it look like?" the girl answered back with an apathetic tone.

It wasn't long till the school's top blogger walked in front with her equipment.

"Hey, guys! It's your girl, Heidi! Filling you in on the latest deets! Today, get ready to cheer louder as not only did the Ninja appeared when a monster attacked, but all the way from Amity Park, Danny Phantom showed up, and the two laid the biggest smackdown on the monster! Isn't that Bruce!?"

Sam and Tucker tilted they head at the girl's words. They looked to Debbie Kang, who was still nearby.

"It's just how we talk here," the short reporter replied.

"But Bruce?" Sam questioned, unsure of

Debbie just shrugged. As did anyone who heard. It was a classic case of culture shock.

Black Cat handled the Ninja easily. She didn't need gadgets or her powers to deal with him. As it took was a flirty wink, a breath of air in the ear, or some heavy lines to render the boy into putty. It made the job too easy, making the cat groan in frustration.

At least Danny doesn't stop and stutter at every wink. Black Cat thought. She decided to end things early with a kick to the head on the shadow warrior.

"This has been fun, boys, but a girl can only handle so much. Bye," she said, grabbing a smoke bomb from the Ninja and throwing it to the ground.

"How did she do that!?" Randy shouted as he hit the wall.

"It's alright," Danny said as he went to check on him. "We'll get her next time."

"Yeah..." the Ninja groaned.

He is still upset that he let the hot thief get away again. So was the ghost boy.

Now that Black Cat fled the scene, Danny and Randy groaned.

"Not again!" They both complained.

The boys glance at each other, sympathetic in their plight. The Ninja spoke first.

"Look, I know we don't know each other, but we both have Met this pretty thief and—"

"So, want help clipping kitty's nails?" Danny asked.

Randy nodded, and the two shook hands. While they didn't have a way to communicate, they knew if one was around, the other would come. They were sure of it. Though Danny couldn't believe Black Cat was in town. So much for some peace and quiet. Though Bucky broke that up already.

The next day was calmer as the two schools went to a local museum. It gave the students a better time to enjoy themselves and mingle after what was a surprising day.

Tucker was especially shocked when he got word back from Velma, who called the threats legit.

"You'd think going around the country, so long mysteries with a talking dog would make her question stuff like this," Tucker commented, looking over the conversation again.

"Ironic... I think," Danny shrugged. He really needed to pay attention in class more.

Sam said nothing, still bitter over Black Cat. The goth had a personal score with the thief after the last time they met.

All in all, the trip was fun save for the jocks "debating." No one bothered to listen and went along with their business.

Danny and his friends stared blankly at the exhibits presented. Something about cars it was about, but the gang didn't care. Especially Danny, who was concerned about Black Cat and the ninja. He still couldn't believe the guy was real.

While it wasn't that this world found ninjas to be myths, especially with the supernatural and superheroes flying around, the mysterious warriors have always been known to stay out of the public eye. The shadow warriors' history was covered in mystery, and only a few people would see a real ninja when they were targeted.

Meanwhile, Randy explained what happened to his best friend. The shorter boy seemed to soak in the conversation with vacant nods and sounds. When everything was explained, that same friend looked upset about something.

"I can't believe you let that spicy thief get away before you could get me her number!" Howard complained.

Randy looked annoyed now.

"Howard, I keep telling you, she's not your type," The taller boy replied.

"She's spicy, Cunningham. Of course, she's my type," Howard said, overconfident.

Randy rolled his eyes in annoyance.

"Oh, please, Howard," Randy waved off.

"You think I couldn't do it? Get a date?" Howard said indignantly as he scoped the room. His eyes landed on a girl with black hair wearing a black top and black skirt with green stripes. "Watch me."

The short, tubby boy walked over to the girl with a suave motion to his steps. Anyone who saw him snickered and felt bad for the girl.

"Hey baby, you wanna see a real sight down at Cluckers?" Howard said flirtatiously.

Sam turned around, repulsed by Howard's lack of tact. She stared at him with disgust as some of the students turned to watch. Everyone had a feeling of the events unfolding. Most of them anyway.

"Uh...okay, first, eww," Sam cringed. "Second, I am not some boy-crazy girl who'll go with some random, strange kid. And even if I was, I'd still have standards."

Howard's face dropped as he heard each word, it wasn't long before his jaw would have hit the ground, and the audience started laughing quietly while pointing.

The rejected boy hid behind his for protection. While he knew his friend deserved the response, Randy walked over to give the girl a piece of his mind.

"Looks like someone could have used the dating service," Danny responded.

"Dating service?" Randy questioned, forgetting his current goal.

Danny nodded.

"Yeah, that is where Tuck and I met our girlfriends," Danny said.

Tucker nodded.

"You serious!?" Randy asked. He glared at Howard, who now sported a nervous look. "You said not to bother with the dating service! Saying it was for losers who couldn't get girlfriends!"

"And you listened to me!?" Howard answered. "Besides, I was right. Only losers signed up."

Within seconds, the entire Casper High Football team grabbed the boy and caged him in.

"What did you say?" One of them demanded.

Howard sweated profusely. He knew himself to be in trouble, but the panic made his brain run on auto.

"What? All I said is that only losers use dating services," Howard said.

They all glared.

"We all used a dating service during the summer!" One of them yelled.

"I met my girlfriend thanks to the service!" Another said.

Sure, some of them originally joined to get a date with Felicia, but some had met great girls that meshed well with them.

Howard gulped as he realized his mistake.

"And just what do you think you're doing?" Principal Slimovitz asked. Mr. Lancer had followed shortly, noticing the Casper jocks.

"Oh, we were just..." one of the jocks tried to explain. He eyed Mr. Lancer for help, but the teacher would not turn a blind eye during a cross-school event.

Principal Slomovitz, however, caught the student's staring.

"Mr. Lancer," Principal Slimovitz said, appalled. "I certainly hope you would not turn a blind eye at such an act!"

"W-w-why, of course not," Mr. Lancer replied with a nervous smile.

"Then you won't mind disciplining your students with the proper punishment or that I'll be checking in every now and then, right?" Slimovitz eyed Lancer sternly. The guy wasn't the most intimidating, especially with a balding head of hair, but he took his job seriously. That's what was transmitted to the overweight Lancer.

Danny and his friends were actually surprised since they were used to teachers siding with the jocks.

"What just happened?" Danny questioned.

"That's P Slimy, tough but fair," Randy commented quietly. No student would be caught dead, saying those words out loud except for a halfa who caught wind.

"Wish our teachers were like that," Danny said, surprising Randy.

"Uh, who are you?" Randy asked.

"Sorry about that. I'm Danny," the ghost boy introduced himself with a hand out.

"Randy Cunningham," the other boy replied, returning with a handshake.

"So, is there anything to do here?" Sam snarked. "Besides corporate buildings?"

Randy actually chuckled a bit at that.

"Well, there's Greg's Gamehole," Randy said with glee. "It's a local arcade that holds all these retro games while still selling new ones. It's the cheese!" Randy said that last part with crossed arms and rock on hands.

Sam glared inquisitively at the cheese while the boys rose a brow.

"Why do you guys say stuff like that?" Tucker asked.

Randy and Howard, who got back, just shrugged. It had been the way people talked in town for years.

"It's how everyone talks," They both said.

It was then a scream broke through, indicating trouble.

"Gotta go," Danny and Randy said simultaneously.

They soon ran in opposite directions, not even looking at their friends. Sam and Tucker noticed Randy's similar behavior, but Howard didn't pay as much attention.
Before anyone can question, they soon what was causing trouble: a robot. Courtesy of the screams of nearby citizens who ran inside the museum for safety.

The robot was ten feet tall with purple, black tubes on its back, all attached to its gas mask-like head, with four claws and legs with wheels on them.

It ripped and tore through the city buildings like paper as it gave a ghastly shriek.

Citizens ran in terror once more. A little girl had tripped over and would have been crushed had someone not grabbed her.

"It's alright," she said as the girl calmed down.

Black Cat let the girl go as she grappled up to a building rooftop and perched herself on a corner. She knew the show was about to begin.

"Smoke bomb!" the Ninja exclaimed with his signature entry. Danny Phantom jumped back a bit before regaining posture.

"Do you always have to say that?" The ghost boy asked.

"Yes, it's too bruce not to," Randy said before taking a stance. He rushed forward with not a trace of fear.

Danny said nothing. He just glowed his hands while Randy brought out some weapons.

"Ninja Kamas!" Randy cried out, bringing his weapons out. He swung his chained weapons tied down as the boy looked at him with glowing eyes.

The chains disliked themselves as the blades flew in different directions.

"Uh-oh," Randy cried out as one of the claws grabbed him and flung him into a lamppost.

"Danny flew some ice at the robot's feet as he punched Jinxbot. But all it did was hurt his hand.

"Ow! Why did I punch him when I could just go intangible!?" Danny said to himself. He flew to the bot again. It did not move but puffed out its chest in taunt as the ghost boy found himself unable to phase through it after multiple attempts.

"Ooooh! You made the robot ghost proof," McFist noted with awe.

"Didn't want the Ninja's new friend to end things early," Viceroy commented.

Though razzled and frazzled, the Ninja got back up and charged with sword in hand as he came from behind. Mere feet away, the boy jumped up with his blade aimed down,

"Ninja Sneak Attack!" he cried with a downward sword strike, but the bot grabbed the blade. Once again, the warrior was thrown, this time into Danny, who caught him.

"Do you always have to shout out your attacks?" Danny snarked.

"And you wouldn't as a ninja?" Randy replied with wiggling eyebrows.

Danny raised a brow at that.

Before he could comment, the robot got their attention again by Throwing a car at them from a nearby workshop.

"Isn't that the principal's car?" Danny asked before he and the Ninja dodged.

"That's actually a normal thing in fights," Randy commented. Danny gave a face that asked, are you serious?.

"I'd hate to see what that means with his insurance," Danny commented as he blasted the bot back. The attack did some damage, evident by the hiss and sparks from the bot.

That gave the Ninja an opening as he threw an electro ball at the machine. Jinxbot danced to the sparks as his system overclocked. It was almost amusing if it wasn't so out of place. The two boys shrugged before going back into the fight.

Their foe then grabbed a car and pushed back with great speed, using the wheels on its legs. With a vehicle in each hand, the was plenty of metal to act as shield and swatter.

The two heroes didn't stop. They kept firing everything they got at Jinxbot.

Having enough, the robot flung all four cars at the boys. The heroes did the best they could to not damage the automobiles badly. Nobody wanted a dented, or worse, car. The ghost boy flung up and caught one while the show warrior used his scarf to act as a net.

"Where do these things come from!?" Danny strained as he pushed against the vehicle. With his strength, the boy managed to land the McCedes carefully.

"Well, the robots come from McFist, who's out to get me, but the monsters came from the sorcerer, but I defeated him," Randy commented, throwing an ice ball at the ground, causing a charging Jinxbot to slip.

"Then where did the monster come from yesterday?" Danny asked. He shot an ectobeam square in the head.

That's when Jinxbot got mad and threw whatever wasn't nailed to the ground. Including patches of dirt.

"I don't know, I just took the sorcerer's balls, threw them down the hole he was imprisoned and locked it up away from the guy! That's what was making the monsters in the first place!" Randy jumped and slid along the various object as he sliced an arm off. The robot shrieked with a wide jaw as it turned to the Ninja.

Danny managed to send a blast at it before it could hurt Randy.

The ghost boy then turned to his ally, confused.

"So, you still have monsters..." Danny commented.

"Aw chillax, Phantom. I still got the key. I'll just go retrieve them tomorrow."

"Why is it you have a key?" Danny questioned.

Before Randy could answer, Jinxbot glowed its eyes, and both boys went back to figuring out hows to stop it. Danny couldn't help feeling a sense of deja vu fighting the robot. But a random flock of pigeons flying into him stopped his train of thought.

It didn't help that the Ninja lost grip on his tripping balls early and slid past the bot.

Meanwhile, McFist and Viceroy were watching from a monitor.

"Got to hand it to you, Viceroy. This is my best idea yet—" the mad scientist dropped his face somewhat but shrugged it off. "—but I wasn't sure you'd get the robot to jinx the Ninja like that."

"After I made an oversized lava lamp to once contact the sorcerer, created a robot in which has the adorability of a bunny, the naivety of a koala, and the weaselness of a weasel, or make Whoopi World powered by farts?" Viceroy snarked.

"Fine. Fine," McFist said, resuming the monitor. He did not want to miss any of this.

The fight was tough already, but the random acts of bad luck placed things in the bot's favor. Dropped pianos, Newspapers flying into faces, and other similar small distractions disrupted the heroes' focus and allowed Jinxbot to attack.

The Ninja rushed forward, but the bad luck bot stepped to the side with his leg out. The boy was tripped and found himself under a ladder.

"Just my luck," Randy groaned as the bot flowed its eyes. The ladder collapsed on the boy. "Ow."

"Dude!" Danny said in concern.

"I'm okay. Just bad luck," Randy said.

"Bad luck? But Black Cat isn't -"

He was cut off as the bot's eyes started to glow. Randy thought fast and threw a large red and blue ball at its head.

"Ninja throwing ball!" He cried out.

The Jinxbot's gaze was averted and landed on the corner of a building where a cat had perched herself.

"I don't like the look of this," Black Cat calmy said.

The coroner of the roof cracked as the girl fell down. Luckily she managed to land on a nearby flag pole. Though it snapped in the next second. She should have known the flagpole thing would not work.

She landed on her feet, but the robot glowed its eyes again. While it aimed at the Ninja and Danny, it hit the girl again. She slipped and landed on her butt, glaring at the Jinxbot. The female cat burglar narrowed her eyes.

"Alright. I guess it's time for the cat to use her claws," she said.

The boys were barely holding on with the fight. The bot's powers were interfering with the fight.

"I think it's safe to say that the robot's the cause of bad luck," Randy said. His sword aimed at the bot in defense.

"Ya think?" Danny snarked, prepared for the worst.

The robot ran to the downed heroes but found himself slipping off a cart of bananas. The bot just drove off into a wall.

"What the juice?" Randy said.

"What...happened...? Black Cat?" Danny said as he looked up to see the hand of Black Cat extended. Instead of the usual catty smirk, the girl wore a neutral face.

"Get up."

Those were the words she said.

Hesitantly, Danny grabbed the hand as he stood up.

"You're helping me?" He asked.

"For now," Black Cat said, glancing at the robot. "That thing used bad luck against me. I'm not allowing that."

"And there's nothing else?" Danny pointed out.

Black Cat sent him an annoyed look.

"You don't know me as well as you think," She said before charging at the thing. She used her jinxing eyes to even the playing field as the bot tripped on a hole it just made in the concrete.

It didn't damage it much, but it did take it off balance.

Randy took this opportunity to throw a yellow and black orb at it. The ball cracked out to summon a horde of bees. The bot's jinxing power had a gust of wind carry them over to a wall. Their stingers struck the side, and they died instantly.

"My bees," Randy shed a tear.

All the while, Danny still sent a suspicious look to the cat-themed burglar.

"I still can't believe you're helping me. What do you want, my cell number?" Danny snarked.

Sure, Black Cat had helped him against Skulker and didn't seem that bad, but she always has an ulterior motive.

The feline villain smirked at that. She stated for a second with coy eyes that gave the boy a pleasant shiver.

"Oh, Danny, you sure know how to charm a girl. But don't worry. We can talk about my reward later. Right now, let's take down this hunk of junk," Black Cat said.

Before Danny could say anything, they got reminded of their situation when the robot came charging at them.

"Guys, I can use a little help!" The ninja shouted as he tried to dodge the robot's attacks.

Danny sighed as he didn't have much choice here.

"Fine but no funny business," Danny said in a commanding voice.

Black Cat smirked, giving the ghost boy a wink in promise.

"Only with the robot," She said before joining the fight, making it three against one.

"Why does that not fill me up with confidence?" Danny snarked.

"Just because I'm not a hero doesn't mean I know how to play the part," Black Cat said.

She then made her point by glowing her eyes at the bot, which caused some sparks to fly in its legs. Danny said nothing as he sent more blasts at the robot.

Randy also followed up with ninja rings.

Jinxbot gave a ghastly shriek again, right as Black Cat glowed her eyes again. Its jaw circuitry went haywire as it kept its mouth open. And that gave Randy an idea as he rushed forward, his black and red suit inverting in color scheme.

"Ninja Tengu Fireball!" Randy cried out, sending the ball of fire down the robot's throat. Within seconds the flames spread and ignited anything it could, including the rubber wire covers. With precious thin metals exposed and crossing, sparks flew, and the bad luck boy was no more.

"Looks like he couldn't handle my cooking," Randy said.

"Now that's a spicy meatball," Danny said, impressed.

Even Black Cat sent the Ninja a coy look.

"Yeah, not bad, Chef Ninja," Black Cat said.

Randy, once again being reminded of her beauty, turned into a hormonal idiot around her.

Black Cat rolled her before turning to the ghost boy. His smile sent a shiver down her spine, but she wouldn't show it. Besides, the catcalling from the crowd was proving to be a distraction.

"Oh man, what a babe!" Dale shouted as Steve and Kwan wolf-whistled, eyeing her skin-tight catsuit and the curves it showed.

"You're like...good looking," Bash said, being a drooling idiot over her.

"How spicy can one get!?" Howard exclaimed as the other guys kept catcalling the thief.

Black Cat simply bowed coyly with a grin, exciting the crowd even more. Though the girls were not enjoying the show.

"Oh, please, anyone would gawk at a girl in that outfit," Sam snarked as the boys kept it up.

Black Cat glowed her eyes at the girl. And soon, the goth girl found herself feeling a bucket of water landing on her head, spilling its contents on her. Taking it off, Tucker tapped her shoulder and pointed down, where Sam noticed her entire outfit was drenched in pink paint. No one noticed or cared.

Sam glared at the thief in rage.

That's when the girl had a fun idea. She walked over to the boys, swaying her hips as the boys drooled more. Even the Ninja was affected, but Danny suspected more. That's when the girl shot her face to a mere inch away from the ghost boy's.

"So, about my reward?" Black Cat said in a sultry tone.

"Fine," Danny sighed. "What do you want?"

All the thief did was stare silently as the Ninja, and the audience watched in anticipation.

"Bye, Phantom..." Black Cat said before stealing another kiss.

Danny tried to get a hold of the situation, but the girl was too quick as she revealed a smoke bomb in her hand. The Ninja patted his garbs, questioning when the item was swiped.

With a puff of smoke, the thief was gone, leaving stunned heroes behind. Danny and Randy were silent as the crowd.

Save for the sound of someone fainting.

Once she was gone, Heidi came to the scene to interrogate him.

"Danny Phantom! What are you even doing here in Norrisville? Are you and the Ninja allies? Can I get an exclusive interview? Care to explain the nature of your relationship with Black Cat!?" Heidi demanded. Her camera was almost smashing the ghost boy's head.

"There is no relationship!" Danny denied.

"Yeah, that stupid cat girl didn't know her place!" Paulina shouted.

Danny ignored her as he tried to get Heidi off his back.

"Then why is it that we saw you kissing that thief?" She demanded.

"I didn't kiss her! She kissed me!" Danny insisted.

"She really seemed into it," the Ninja commented.

"And Phantom wasn't?" Dash said, sounding impressed.

"Not helping!" Danny glared back with glowing eyes.

"Ninja, can you give me the deets on this sich!" Heidi asked the shinobi. Her face was now hovering over the boy.

Randy glanced at the girl before studying his audience, and Danny, who rolled his eyes. The ghost boy had taken to the air. Following his new ally's example, the Ninja threw a smoke bomb and disappeared from sight.

As Danny left, Heidi tried to give chase. She gave when he turned invisible, leaving a stunned audience with one girl passed out.

Danny quickly found a hiding place, changed forms, and rejoined the group.

He then heard what everyone was talking about.

The battle and Black Cat, with the latter being the hot topic amongst the boys.

"Did you see how hot Black Cat was?!" Kwan said, still drooling.

"I wouldn't mind her robbing me," Dale said, still gaga over her.

"Yeah, Phantom really is lucky," Dash said, jealous of his hero.

"Of course, he is! He has me!" Paulina yelled.

"Oh please, you couldn't keep anyone's attention when you had the mini skirt on," Dash said.

Danny ignored this and walked to his friends. Sam and Tucker were glad to see the ghost boy but had a few questions of their own.

"So, you and the Ninja are friends now?" Tucker asked. His PDA showing all the quickly published articles depicting Danny Phantom and the Ninja of Norrisville, with articles of Black Cat's kiss being the bigger headline.

Sam grabbed the device as images of the kiss popped up. She gave her friend a glare.

"How about we talk about something more important," she said. "Like why Black Cat was here."

"She said something about stealing something here. But I don't know what," Danny groaned in frustration.

He was so busy worrying about Jinxbot, he forgot. And knowing the thief, her trail would end cold.

Sam looked angry, and Tucker sent Danny a sympathetic look.

"Chill out, Dude. You'll get her next time," Tucker said, patting his friend's back.

"That's honestly what I'm afraid of," Danny muttered under his breath.

Soon the trip would be over, but Danny Phantom and the Ninja of Norrisville would meet again. The heroes were sure of it.

Black Cat had been angry at her client when he asked for the source of the monsters here. She never got anything else than that, peeving her more as she was told to do this on a school night. Luckily, she managed to get the days off but found the job boring when she first met the Ninja.

Danny changed things, though his appearance was unexpected. But that was half the fun.

Now that he was gone, the girl knew her welcome was overstayed. Not was the time for work.

In the darkness of Night, Black Cat crept into Randy's room and searched the place silently.

"Here's the key," Black Cat cooed as she gazed at the object. She looked at Randy's sleeping face.

So peaceful and unguarded. It made things easier as she discovered his identity.

"You really need to rethink about talking to your friends in uniform," she whispered as she climbed out the window. "It was a dead giveaway yesterday."

With a few easy flips, she managed to get down and was soon off the property.

This is so easy. She thought as she kept running to her next destination.

Norrisville High School.

She searched the school high and low, an easy task given some of the damage. She stopped in the entryway as she sat on the stairs.

"Ok, little key, where do you go?"

It was then the eye of the mosaic carp in the middle of the entrance glowed. Black Cat glanced between the two and walked over to the gemstone.

"Well, now, looks like this cat caught her fish," she cooed.

Placing the key into the carp's eye with a twist, the locking mechanism turned the gears inside as the mosaic split into six pieces and spread. Soon a large hole was revealed, and with it, her target—the source of the monsterfication: the chaos pearls.

Black Cat jumped down into the pit and produced a bag. She grabbed the orbs by a strap they were attached to and placed them inside. Grappling out, she walked out of the school, glancing at the bag every now and then.

"Looks like I'll get paid after all."

She left the school, but not before leaving a calling card.

Vlad Plasmuis worked on a project of his in his lab when Skulker came through the ghost portal. Though the hunter's presence was known, the halfa didn't move his gaze.

"I take it Black Cat secured the item?" He asked, reaching for a screwdriver.

Skulker opened the bag to reveal the chaos pearls inside. Their glow reached the corner of Vlad's eyes, giving the man a satisfied grin.

"And you thought she couldn't pull it off," Vlad snarked.

"It may seem, but I still wouldn't trust that thieving feline," Skulker said as he placed the orbs on a counter.

"You're just mad she can get the better of young Daniel," Vlad said.

Skulker sent him a dirty glare before he dropped the face.

"Then we'll be ready to grab the other whelp?" Skulker asked.

"Bientôt," Vlad mocked, and the hunter put on a wicked smile. He brought out a weapon from his suit, looking it over with glee.

The first weekend of the New Year, and we have a new chapter! I originally would have this little arc in parts, but I realized the thirteenth chapter was next and decided to go big in one chapter. All or nothing. Some of you may be wondering why Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja, the answer is to simply mix things up a bit. Also, I figured to have the two meet before a particular dragon would appear.

Special thanks! to Flower Princess11 for all her help!

Also, this fic has now reached more than 100 favorites and 100 followers! NICE!
