Silverfang rushed through the halls like a mad man. He nearly knocked over Sharpblade who was travelling the opposite way. She sent him a disapproving look but he was too preoccupied to pay it much notice. He had to get Director Ironfist. She was the only one qualified enough to deal with this.
He stopped outside her office but when his knocks weren't answered, he continued on to the hall. He was stopped outside by Bloodaxe who told him that the council was having a meeting. "Good" he said. "They need to know."
Bloodaxe reluctantly let him in. He knew the goblin wasn't prone to over-exaggeration or even rushing so whatever had spooked him must be important. That didn't mean he wanted to be beheaded for letting him in for a trivial reason. His reluctance was soon forgotten when Silverfang said "The Oncoming Storm".
Silverfang hurried through the doors and bowed before Director Ironfist.
"Why have you come Silverfang?" she asked calmly.
"The Oncoming Storm, Director." he replied. That garnered a reaction from the council - it was a complete uproar. All goblins knew of the Oncoming Storm and the destruction they brought upon their enemies with nothing but their mind. The ruckus stopped abruptly when Ironfist held up her hand commandingly and demanded "Silence!"
"Continue Silverfang."
"She was one of a party of Muggleborns. She wanted to open an account in the name of Hermione Granger."
"Smart." Ironfist noted "She did not claim her name to be Hermione Granger."
"No Director. If it had not been for the results of her blood, I would not have realised anything was amiss." Here Silverfang unrolled the parchment that held the results of The Oncoming Storm.
Name: -
Title(s): The Doctor, The Oncoming Storm, The Lord President, The Destroyer of Worlds, -, -, -
Alias: Hermione Granger
Birth Date: -
"What are we going to do?" Softblade asked in desperation. He was weak for a goblin but gave good counsel. Most goblins simply ignored him when he was in such a mood.
"If I may Director" Silverfang interrupted "The Oncoming Storm did not seem to want war with our people. Historically, the Doctor has preferred alliances or agreements rather than war. Perhaps we can ally with the Doctor or establish an agreement."
"That is true." Director Ironfist acknowledged. "Very well. Silverfang I leave you with the task of negotiating a meeting between myself and the Oncoming Storm. Do not disappoint me." She then dismissed Silverfang and the council moved on to discuss other matters.
Hoping his assessment of the character of the Oncoming Storm was accurate, Silverfang left. If he was wrong, well his head would join the others on Ironfist's wall.
