Chapter 11

After a month when Reisa join in the group living in the Sevestar Island, she has been training with Ash for the contest performances. Reisa is asked to keep a secret about their whereabouts from her father Wallace, as she knows that during the Team Rocket control, his words about him has hurt him a lot.

Right now the three girls are sitting at the living room while chatting about the future plans. But Reisa notices that someone is missing and she asks, "So Alice, where is Ash?"

Helen looks around the living room and she says, "Come to think of it, I didn't see him either. Since you are his girlfriend, Alice, do you know what he is up to now?"

"I am sorry, this time he didn't tell me anything." Alice says. "What if he is keeping something behind my back..."

"Don't worry, knowing him, he isn't that kind of person." Reisa says.

Just then, they hear the music coming from outside of the castle. They are confused at where the music comes from, so they decide to check it out. Much to their surprise, they see that Ash holding a microphone while Roserade is standing by a speaker that is linked to the smartphone, Pyroar is standing in front of them while the camera is on top of its head. As for Milotic, she is resting besides the two Pokemon as she is watching them.

"Are you ready guys?" The three Pokemon nod in agreement, Alice asks, "What is he up to?"

Reisa says, "I think he is trying to film a music video..."

As the music starts, Ash takes a deep breath and then he starts to sing.

"I can show you the world
Shining, shimmering, splendid

Now, when did you last let your heart decide?
I can open your eyes
Take you wonder by wonder
Over, sideways and under
On a magic carpet ride."

Helen says, "Wow, is that really his voice?"

"His voice is beautiful...he sure has a talent for singing..." Reisa says.

As for Alice, she isn't saying anything as she knows this song too well. It is a duet and she should be singing with him.

Alice says nothing as she walks towards him.

"A whole new world" Ash is surprised, since he wants to film this for Alice as a surprise, but the said person is walking towards him singing the female parts of the song.

Ash can't be angry at her for the fact that his surprise is ruined, her smile at him is sweeet and he decides to follow the flow. "Now I'm in a whole new world with you"

Ash and Alice are now staring at each other as Ash continues to sing.

After that, the two share a kiss as Pyroar almost forgot to end the recording. It is until Milotic mentioning it that Pyroar gets back into his senses to stop the filming. As for Helen and Reisa, they are clapping for them due to the fact that they sing so well, especially with the duet.

Ash says, "So what are you doing here?"

"We are trying to find you, and then we heard the music and we decide to check it out." Reisa says.

"Your voice is really beautiful, and so does Alice." Helen says.

Ash and Alice blush a little and Ash rubs his head sheepishly, "Well, I just wanted to make a surprise for Alice since I want to thank her for the beautiful voice. But since you come to sing with me, I guess it is not so surprised anymore."

Alice smiles and says, "Don't think like that. I think it is really a surprise to me, I just feel like this song is suitable for a duet instead of solo."

"Maybe you are right." Ash says as he takes the camera from Pyroar, who nuzzles him after getting the camera off the head. "Now the last thing is that we need to decorate it so that it can be a great music video."

Reisa says, "You know,, since you two have really good voices, why don't you two form a band and then you guys can be famous around the world."

This causes the two to tense up, and Alice is afraid that people might recognize him and he is going in a breakdown again. "Reisa, do you forget that Ash..."

Ash cuts her off and says, "Sure, why not? You just give us a great idea of how to use Jude and Aoi's disguises."

"Ash?" Alice is surprised that he is willing to do something that is a risk for him to be exposed to the crowd.

"Alice, don't worry about it, just like when we are Dean and Whith, or Morris and Paula, no one will be able to recognize us. Not only that, the way we met is also because of music, so I think we should give it a try."

"If that's okay with you, then I will be gladly to help you as well." Alice smiles. "By the way, can you two play music as well?"

Helen says, "Sorry, since I was trained for cooking when I was little, so I don't have any musical talents."

Reisa says, "But not me, my father has given me a lot of instrument training, I know how to play some instruments, but my favorite is the guitar."

"Then it is decided." Ash says, "We can make a band with the three of us, in my father's diary, even though they don't have a disguise, but they also show how to play the instruments like Violin, keyboard and also guitar and drums."

"And my dad also taught me a lot about music to play as well. Seems like we really are music-talented."

From that day on, they start to work on the songs, Alice and Ash help each other with the lyrics of the song, while Ash goes to help Reisa with the sheet and the tune for the songs. During the two months time, they manage to create several songs, both original and covers, and eventually they think it is time to find a music company to make these songs into MP3 or even greater music videos.

Reisa has contacted her former teachers to see if they know anyone from the music company, and it is thanks to their help, they manage to have the famous music company to listen their music. After showing the producers there about their music songs, much to their surprise, they are accepted to join in as they really like a band that can make both sentimental songs and rock songs, not to mention that all the songs are perfect.

The music producers also help the three with the recording and the advance filming, and eventually their songs are put in the music stores online under the name of their band, the Colors. After a week, they can't believe that their songs have been download for 10 thousand or more, not only that, their music videos also reach a lot of likes and subscribes. When they put their album on stock, they are quickly sold out as best-sellers. It is from then on that the craze for them has begun.

"Wow...people really like our music." Reisa says after seeing their subscribers in the Youtube channel.

"Well, even though I am not understandable about music than you do, I can tell that they are also great. In fact, I start put these songs in my restaurant as many crowds enjoy it." Helen says.

"That's a success, right? Alice?" Ash asks and Alice smiles back and nods.

Then the three are being asked if they will have their live performance, they discuss about it and eventually they create a fan website and also show them the date of their live through the page. But they are surprised that even famous people like Wallace and Roxie are also watching the performance. Reisa is actually nervous as well as both Ash and Alice. But they decide to go with the flow and the performance is a success.

After heading back to the house, Alice hears their music from Eve's smartphone and she asks, "Hey, sister Eve, isn't that the Colors' new single?"

Eve says, "Yeah, I purchased it online. The Colors is my favorite band and I also went to see the live from online." Eve says.

"The band is also my favorite as well, not to mention, they are also the talk of the region as well." Flora says.

"Wow..." Alice says with a little blush, but the two sisters don't notice it.

Valerie says, "You know, the band sure is talented with the music, and I am really surprised at how short amount of time they reach their fame."

Wulfric says, "Indeed. But the only problem is that their identity is hidden under the masks. Nobody knows who they are under the mask."

"Maybe they don't want to show their faces? I remember that there are some bands that do so so that they won't be bothered by fans in their normal life." Alice says.

"That may be possible." Eve says. "But still, I bet that Jude is really handsome under that red mask."

Once they are finished eating, Alice goes into the room and then she takes out the notebook. "Now where should we start..."

"What are you doing?" Valerie asks as she walks into the room.

"Mom?" Alice is surprised as she jumps from the seat. "Nothing, I was just thinking."

Valerie raises her eyebrow at the way Alice is acting and she sees the notebook on the table that has the words: lyrics, she says, "What is this? Can I read this?"

Alice is nervous as she nods. Then Valerie looks at it and she recognizes that it is the lyrics of each songs from the Colors band. She says, "So are you a fan of Colors as well?" She looks at the album on the table and says, "Consider that you also have an album from them as well."

"You can say so..." Alice sighs, knowing that she won't need to hide from her mother. "In fact, Mother. You see..." She takes out the mask and puts it on, she says, "I am Aoi from the Colors Band."

Valerie blinks a little as she starts to smile, "So I am right after all..."

"You knew about it?" Alice gasps.

"As a mother, I knew what my daughter's voice sounds like. And I can say that the only boy is Ash, right?"

Alice nods and she also tells her about who Rainbow, who is Reisa in disguise, is to her. Valerie is surprised that Ash would approach Wallace's daughter and even let her join the band, but she is proud of them.

"Mom, since you know this, can you keep a secret from Eve and Flora? They are already crazy for them and I am afraid if they know I am a part of the band I will be in trouble."

"Of course." Valerie says with a small smile. "But I am really happy that my daughter has all grown up."

"Mom!" Alice yells in embarrassment.
