Kirito, Asuna, Yui, Eugeo, and Alice return to the Underworld. They appear in the top floor of the Central Cathedral.
Asuna: Where are we?
Kirito: Isn't this the Central Cathedral?
Alice: It is.
?: Welcome back, everyone.
Everybody looks and sees the new pontifex who is in the form of a child.
Kirito: Cardinal!
Cardinal: I am glad you all have returned. Kirito, Asuna, Eugeo, Alice, and...
Yui: Umm...
Kirito: That's Yui. She's mine and Asuna's daughter. Adopted.
Cardinal: Is that so? Well, it's nice to meet you, Yui.
Yui: H-Hi.
Cardinal: She has cat ears and a tail. That's rather interesting.
Eugeo: She doesn't have them in the real world, though.
Cardinal: I see. Well then, come along now. Let us feast with the knights.
Everybody heads down and have a feast with Sortiliena, Ronie, Tiese, Medina, and the Integrity Knights. Lilpilin and Iskahn are there as well.
Ronie: I knew you would come back!
Tiese: Welcome back Kirito-Senpai! You too, Eugeo-Senpai, Lady Alice, and Lady Asuna!
Kirito: Thanks.
Eydis: I'm so glad to see you again, Alice!
Eldrie: Welcome back, Mentor.
Alice: Thank you Eydis, Eldrie.
Sortiliena: We've been waiting for you all to come back.
Asuna: So what's been going on here?
Cardinal: The war with the Human Empire and Dark Territory is over. We have made peace with both regions. Lilpilin and Iskahn of the Council of Ten have also agreed for peace.
Kirito: That's good news.
Iskahn: The borders are open as well. So people can pass freely on both sides.
Eugeo: Really?
Bercouli: I was the one who came up with that idea. Because as long as both regions remained separated, another war was inevitable.
Eldrie: We all thought it was insane, but we agreed to him when he gave us the reason.
Iskahn: By the way, Leafa the green swordswoman. She's your sister, right Kirito?
Kirito: Yeah.
Iskahn: She saved my entire tribe with the help of Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel. If she didn't come, we would have been dead.
Kirito: Leafa really did that?
Lilpilin: I have to thank her as well. She treated me like I was a human being. Her prayers helped the brave Orc warriors to sleep in peace. We need to thank her if she comes back.
Kirito: Yeah. We'll bring her next time we come by.
Linel: Where even is Sonic? And also Tails, Knuckles, Mighty, and Ray?
Fizel: Yeah. Shouldn't they be here with us?
Eugeo: They're busy in the real world right now.
Kirito: Basically, they're fighting an evil scientist and taking back their home.
Deusolbert: An evil scientist?
Asuna: His name is Dr. Robotnik. He's Sonic's arch-nemesis.
Fanatio: So Sonic has an enemy like him?
Kirito: Yeah. But Sonic always wins against Robotnik. He's always stopping that scientist from attempting world domination.
Asuna: Eggman's always after the Chaos Emeralds and is always turning innocent animals into robots.
Medina: Robots?
Asuna: Oh, uh. They're like golems. You know, automations.
Tiese: That's just cruel!
Ronie: Turning animals into evil pawns?
Renly: And Sonic helps free the animals?
Kirito: You bet. He's a big hero in our world.
Bercouli: Let us hope that they will return safely.
Fanatio: Indeed.
Bercouli: Aside from the peace treaty, me and Fanatio are retiring from knighthood.
Alice: Huh? You are?
Fanatio: Me and the commander will be getting married very soon, and we will have a child as well.
Alice: Marriage? and Fanatio's pregnant?
Fanatio: You seem quite surprised.
Alice: I am. And you both have served the Human Realm for such a long time. You deserve your break. And I'm glad that I had you as my mentor, Uncle.
Bercouli: Likewise, Little One.
Sheyta: Me and Iskahn are getting married as well.
Eugeo and Alice: Huh?!
Eugeo: Sheyta and Iskahn?!
Iskahn: Yeah. We are.
Eldrie: Yes. We were pretty shocked upon hearing that ourselves.
Deusolbert: Times definitely are changing.
Cardinal: Since the Administrator is gone, we're also reforming the government. As you know, some of the higher ranking nobles are abusing their authority, and are exploiting the lower ranking nobles and commoners.
Fanatio: I've heard stories on how corrupt they can be sometimes?
Eldrie: Wait. I kept forgetting to ask. Kirito, and Eugeo. Why did you along with Sonic, Mighty, and Ray violate the Taboo Index anyway?
Eugeo: Because Lord Raios and Humbert took advantage of Ronie and Tiese. They both tried to stand up for a friend, but were tied up in doing so.
Eldrie: No wonder. Even Lady Alice despises nobles like they who abuse their authority.
Kirito: Not all of them are terrible, though. Liena and Medina are very respectful.
Sortiliena: You are as admirable as ever, Kirito.
Medina: I despised you guys at first, but we got to be come friends during our academy days.
Cardinal: It's a difficult task right now, but we're doing our very best. There's a lot to do now that the war is over and the Administrator is gone. But for now, let us feast together.
Asuna: You seem very quiet, Yui. Is there anything you want to say?
Yui: Umm... Umm...
Kirito: She's probably shy since she's meeting so many people.
Asuna: Probably.
Sortiliena: Your daughter is really cute, Kirito.
Fizel: Why does she have cat ears and a tail anyway?
Asuna: That's just a form she chose to take. She looks the same in the real world but without the cat features.
Medina walks over to Yui and pets her ears.
Yui: Meow!
She starts feeling relaxed now that she's being pet. Everybody else laughs, admiring her cuteness.
Ronie: So what is the real world like, anyway?
Eugeo: It's definitely different from this world. Civilization seems much more advanced.
Alice: There may be evil there, but there is good as well. We've met so many wonderful people in the real world and have learned so much about it within the first few days.
Bercouli: That's wonderful. I'm glad you were there to take care of her, Kirito.
Kirito: Yeah. It was my pleasure.
Eydis: Yeah. Thanks for taking care of Alice for us.
Kirito: You're welcome.
Meanwhile, at Green Hill Zone, Sonic and his friends, along with Team RWBY and JNPR arrive at Robotnik's hidden base.
Sonic: Here we go everyone! Time to take back our home!
Mighty: It's about time.
Tails: Finally.
The blue hedgehog looks up at the door.
Sonic: We're coming for you, Eggman. We're finally gonna beat you again.
Sonic will return.
