Tease 14 – You-sensei has it bad for Riko-sensei (Not that she's willing to admit to it!)

You has always moved around the school in a fast yet cool and charming manner. Right now, however, if any of her students were to see her, they would be confused as to why their favourite teacher was walking slow and dejected, with her back hunched.

Ahhh…What do I do..?

You drags her feet along the school grounds from the Principal's office towards her classroom after denying the possibility of being in love and making a hasty escape with "a class to tend to" as the excuse. You sighs for the umpteen time.

What do I do if I really am in love?

You shakes her head when her mind conjured up the image of the art teacher of her supposed affections grinning back at her – gentle hazel eyes…inviting red lips…flowy auburn hair… It did not take long for You's cheeks to turn a shade of bright pink and to heat up as blushes do.

Is it just me or do I make Riko-chan look extra good in my head? Or she looks that good in the first place-

You ruffles her hair and flailed around.

Aaahhh! No, no, no! I'm not in love…I'm just…

You's train of thought wanders off as she lay eyes on the redhead beauty of her daydreams, standing in for her class, giggling to the conversation she's having with the students.

You had a hand over her heart subconsciously as she gazed at Riko's teaching form.

Maybe a little…

"AH! YOU-SENSEI IS STARING AT RIKO-SENSEI!" Her student spots her through the window and calls her out on her blatant lovestruck gaze.

The gym teacher immediately strides into the classroom to stop the shouts and "accusation". "I-I was not..!"

Even if I was, you don't have to shout it for Riko-chan to know!

You tried for a stern expression but that quickly melts when that art teacher lyrical giggle reaches her ears. The ash-brunette almost wanted to slap herself once for being so weak to anything Riko does or say.

"I don't mind if it's you who's staring~" Riko had a mischievous glint in her eyes as she sent a quick wink to You.

"Wha- Eh- Riko-chan!" You splutters; extra weak to this pretty art teacher's teases.

What does that even mean?

The class glanced at each other momentarily before exploding into loudness and rowdiness immediately. "YOU-SENSEI CALLED RIKO-SENSEI 'RIKO-CHAN'!"

Wait I said that out loud?!

"AHHH! THAT'S SO CUTE!" Another student gushed while a few others squealed harmoniously.

H-How- Why is that cute? Stop it!

"I KNEW IT!" Another exclaimed while a group nod at each other proudly.

Knew what!?

You's distraught blue eyes darted around from student to student, not finding a single one who was calm. She could not even bet on the class president to help quieten down the rest. Left with no choice and perhaps against her better judgement, You turned to Riko with pleading eyes.

"Riko-ch…-sensei, help…" You's voice drowned in her throat and the cheers and the fact that her "not-crush" stepped towards her and placed a hand on You's shoulder.

Riko-chan..?

It was supposed to reassure the gym teacher but it only served to accelerate her heart rate.

Riko leans closer, her breath by You's fast reddening ear. "Didn't you say we should only call each other that in private?"

Riko's body language may seem to be trying to be discreet, but her volume was not a whisper. The gym teacher only knew that because of the collective gasps and held back squeals from her students.

You's cheeks flared a strong red, palms sweating, heart attempting to break out of her ribcage-

You's mind went into overdrive and forced shut down while Riko stood there, being the most beautiful girl, You had ever seen.

And now that she's more conscious about it…she's having a much harder time handling all the teases XD Not that Riko makes it any easier for her, of course! ;D hehehe~
