Chapter 10

Seeing the Amazon in front of him, Bell can't help but remembering the unpleasant memory that he had buried sometimes ago. The night where he almost got…violated. He shudders a little bit, but quickly make some distance between Phryne and himself.

"Of all people looking for me, I never thought it would be you!" Phryne laughed

"…" Bell choose not to respond, instead he readied himself into his fighting stance

"So it seems that you had change your mind about my offer." The amazon licked her lips

"Urgh!"

"Oho, you're excited aren't you?"

"Of course not!"

"Don't lie. I bet my body aroused you so much right now."

Bell really wants to puke his breakfast out.

'H-how delusional is she!?' Bell thought to himself

"However…"

"…?"

"You must come to me another time. I have another delicious prey with me right now." She cackled

"….prey…!" Bell whispered

Then, a scream of a boy can be heard from inside of the building.

"Ho, he already wake up? That's fine, it will be more satisfying when he's not asleep anyway." Phryne callously said

"Th-that voice!"

Bell now understand what Phryne's talking about. Though he doesn't know whether Phryne is the person Loki Familia is searching, he just can't turn blind eyes to this. Memory of his experience with Phryne herself won't let him do that.

The Amazon is cruel and sadistic…and without a doubt is a rapist. She won't hesitate to do all that to a small child.

"…I won't let you." Bell said, unsheathing the Hestia knife

"Kakaka, are you really that impatient for your own turn?" the Amazon laughed

"…release the boy, Phryne Jamil."

"And what if I don't? What are you gonna do about it?"

"Then…I'll have to use…um…force"

"Big talk from a rabbit that can only run!"

While it's true he can only run away when faced with an opponent like her before, this time it's different. After his adventure in the 37th floor, he can feel that he's getting stronger. As of right now, he's a Level 4 that can match lower tier Level 5. Phryne, on the other hand, is a high tier Level 5. But this time, the gap between their strength is not that big compare to last time they met.

Without waiting for any response from him, Phryne launched herself at him which he easily dodged. She managed to stop herself from crashing into the stone wall of the building behind him. The small street really limited their speed. If they're not careful, they gonna hurt themselves by crashing into the buildings.

Taking advantage of that, Bell quickly used the speed he's famous for and charged towards the Amazon who's still composing herself and able to make small cut on her face before jumping away.

"Argh! That's hurt you bunny brat!" she roared

Enraged, she unsheathed her own weapon. A golden battle axe.

With a scream, she slashed towards Bell. The white-haired boy managed to dodge the slash by crouching into the ground and rolled away. The stone wall, however, was not as fortunate and the slash from the Amazon managed to torn it apart.

"You'll pay for that…." Phryne growled

"Firebolt!"

"Useless!" Phryne screamed as her axe blocked the bolts of fire. In a matter of seconds, she close the gap between the two of them and landed a fist into Bell's stomach.

"….uagh!" as he was sent flying towards the wall, Bell cast another firebolt towards Phryne which she blocks once again, sending it flying into the sky.

"Such a weak spell!" Phryne cackled

"…." Instead of responding to her taunting, Bell stood up and face the Amazon with a determined look.

His current goal is not to beat her, but to save the boy she currently held inside of that building. Seeing that they're currently quite a distance away from that building, Bell hopes that his speed would allow him to outrun the Level 5 so he can be the 1st one to reach the building and save the boy.

Without any hesitation, he quickly darted back towards the building where the boy is.

"Running again, aren't we?" Phryne said as she chase after him

Few moments before…

"We're not getting anywhere doing it like this!" Asfi said as she jump from one roof to another alongside Ryuu.

The two Level 4 have been chasing after Aiz who's still blindly searching for Albert. It took everything they have to keep up with the speed of an emotionally fueled Level 6 adventurer. As of now, they're nearing the Daedalus Street.

"Sword Princess! Let's stop for a second!" Ryuu said, slightly raising her voice so she can be heard by the blonde. It seems working as Aiz finally stop on her track, turning to face both Asfi and Ryuu with agitated look on her face.

"We don't-"

"I know you're worried…but please, you need to calm yourself down first or it will be impossible to search for Albert." Ryuu reasoned with the blonde swordswoman.

Asfi didn't really know who this Albert is and what is his relationship with the Sword Princess. Hermes only ordered her to help Loki Familia in search for this Albert from the clutch of Phryne Jamil, Ishtar's former captain. She really hopes that Ryuu can tell her the full story after all of this over.

Before Aiz could say anything in return, a bolt of fire suddenly shot out of the Daedalus Street.

"That's…!" Asfi muttered

"…! It looks like Bell's firebolt!" Ryuu gasped

That's the only signal Aiz need and she quickly starts running towards the slum area of Orario with the two Level 4s following her. Her heart is telling her that she will find what she's looking for there.

"Damn it….!" Bell gasped as he lifted himself of the ground.

Standing in front of him is a smirking Phryne, her left arm grabbing the unconscious blonde boy by the scruff of his shirt.

He had almost reach the building first but was instantly stopped when the Amazon threw her golden axe right in front of the building's door. Phryne quickly took advantage of the situation, slamming him into the wall and using the boy as hostage. The boy struggled when Phryne drag him out of the building, but one hit from the adventurer knocked him unconscious.

"What are you gonna do now, I wonder…" the woman chuckled

"...kuh."

"I'm going to enjoy this!" Phryne cackled. She's really starting to get turned on as she watches her helpless victims. Flipping out a small pocket knife, she makes a small cut on the boy's cheek and draw small amount of blood.

"….!"

"Stay where you are, rabbit. I can easily stab this boy's throat as if it's nothing." Phryne threatened, placing her knife directly on the boy's throat, stopping Bell on his track.

"After I finish with this boy….you're next, bunny boy." She cackled maniacally, running her tongue along the boy's face.

Bell can't help but scrunched his face in disgust, gripping his divine knife tightly.

'I need an opening…but, how…'

"Or…I have a better idea. I'll have you watch as I-" as she's about to finish her sentence, an explosion of killing intent suddenly engulfed the entire area. It was so intense that Bell can't help but to drop his knife in shock while Phryne is sweating heavily.

"!?"

"A-Aiz!" Bell yelped when he spot the source of all of those killing intents

There, standing on top of the roof not that far away from them, is Aiz Wallenstein. However….the expression she has on her face is something that Bell has ever seen before. Gone was the stoic and calm expression she always worn. In their steed, is an expression filled with rage and hate. Bell unconsciously flinched when he saw that look on her face and really glad that she directed all of that to Phryne instead.

"S-sword Princess!?" Phryne shuddered in fear as she turned her body to face the blonde swordswoman who jumped into the street and walks toward them

"….." Aiz remains silent as she's getting closer and closer, her glare intensified as her' eyes scan the condition of the boy in Phryne's arm

"Hiiii!" Phryne can't help but took several steps back, before raising her hand in an attempt to appease the enraged Level 6

"W-wait, wait! You're here for the boy, right!? Y-you can have him back!" the Amazon yelled as she threw Albert into the ground

Her attempts of appeasement seems to backfire….badly. Seeing the pure rage on the swordswoman's face, Phryne quickly turned her back and run as fast as she can.

Aiz quickly rushed towards Albert who's laying on the street, unconscious. After surveying every wounds on his body, she finally turn her attention to Bell.

"Bell…look after him for a few minutes."

Bell nodded.

She gave him a small smile before dashing after Phryne. 10 seconds later, Ryuu and Asfi finally arrived at the scene.

"Bell…!" Ryuu said

"So this is the boy…." Asfi muttered

"Miss Ryuu…! And miss Asfi as well?" Bell said before shaking his head

"Miss Ryuu, please cast your healing magic on this boy!"

"Understood." Ryuu nodded as she kneeled next to the the boy and start casting a healing spell

While the elf is healing the boy, Asfi decided to asked of Bell

"Is it safe to assume that the Sword Princess is pursuing Phryne Jamil?"

"Yeah…" Bell weakly said

"Oh man…this will be VERY messy…" Asfi sighed

After running nonstop for several minutes throughout the Daedalus Street, Phryne final stopped to catch her breath in a dark alley. Every once and a while she will turn around to look whether the Kenki is after her. To her relief, she did not see the blonde anywhere.

"I…I lost her…" Phryne whispered

The Amazon had fought the Sword Princess in Melen before and since then she always want to have a rematch with the doll after their fight was interrupted by the Vanargrand. She should be happy as she finally can have her rematch against the blonde, but….

This time…she know she's going to die if she got caught and fought the Level 6. The look of pure rage and hatred on Aiz's face and the killing intent she omitted pretty much guaranteed that.

"I-I'm safe…"

"No."

"-!"

From the darkness of the alley, Aiz strode towards the Amazon with her sword drawn. There's no sign of any emotion on the blonde's face.

"Hiiii! Kenki!" Phryne backed away in fear as the swordswoman closing the gap between them.

"….Phryne Jamil." Aiz whispered, loud enough for Phryne to hear it herself.

"I-I haven't-" whatever words Phryne going to said was quickly cut off as Aiz lunged at her and with a quick slash of her blade, severing the Amazon's right arm.

Phryne shrieked in pain and horror when she noticed her now stump right hand.

"That's one." Aiz coldly said before lunging in for another strike.

"U-uargh!" Phryne screams as the blade pierced both her left and right legs, forcing her to kneel to the ground due to the intense pain.

"W-why are you doing this!?" the Amazon shouted to the girl. "You're doing this to me because of that one boy!?"

"Yes." And with that, the blonde inflicted another 10 deep wounds to the helpless Amazon.

"W-wh-"

"You touched and harmed a very precious person for me." Aiz said, still not showing any emotion. "That's unforgivable."

Another 5 slashes found their marks on the Amazon's large body, drawing even more blood.

"You…" Aiz growled

2 strikes

"Won't be…"

3 strikes

"A threat…"

4 strikes

"To…"

5 strikes

"My child any longer!"

Aiz delivered her final and killing blow. A strong thrust of her blade to Phryne's forehead.

Phryne's body fell to the ground with a 'thud', laying on the pool of her own blood. Her body pretty much covered in deep wounds that are so severe that she'll die due to blood loss in a matter of seconds if she somehow survived Aiz's last attack.

Aiz did not feel any regret killing the Amazon. She won't even loss a minute of sleep thinking about it. In her eyes, the Amazon was the lowest of the lowest. Not to mention that she assaulted Albert and who knows what other things she had done to him.

The darker part of her mind is telling her to harm the Amazon's corpse even more as a retribution. For a split seconds, the blonde is tempts to do just that but managed to shook away that line of thought. Not only it will get her into trouble with Guild, but it might scare Bell or even Albert.

That won't do.

And with that, Aiz left the crime scene while not even giving a second glance to the body.

Finally found some free time to finish this chapter. As you know, I'm terrible at describing fight scenes so I apologize for that lackluster/underwhelming fight scene.
