A/N: Episode list that has my changes. Broken Bow, Fight or Flight, Unexpected, Vox Sola, Terra Nova, The Andorian Incident, Breaking the Ice, Civilization, Fortunate son, Cold Front, Silent Enemy, Dear Doctor, Sleeping Dogs, Shadows of P'Jem, Shuttlepod One, Fusion, Rogue Planet, Acquisition, Oasis, Detained, Fallen Hero, Desert Crossing, Two Days and Two Nights, Shockwave. This should be fun. I am sorry that I have taken a break from this story as well as my other one. They should be regulated a little better. Covid has been hard on us all but I really do want to give my condolences to anyone who has lost someone dear to them. This one I am not sure how I am going to write about but I shall do my best to make it somewhat entertaining. Because if you ask me this book has been very boring though I am doing my best.
T'pol came back to her quarters planning on changing out of her uniform to take a shower when she saw her husband sitting at his desk with his face in his hands. T'Pol has been trying to learn better ways to comfort her human husband. Trip hasn't seemed to have noticed her presences so she makes it known by touching his arm.
Trip is startled by the touch, his wife has never touched him without telling him first or without him initiating it. Trip stares at the hand on his shoulder before looking up to meet her eyes.
" There are many emotions running through you right now. I am quite confused by the way your species can feel so much at a time. Though the emotions are confusing I do know that you are in distress. How can I help?" Trip smiles at her question and takes her hand from his shoulder.
" That's a hell of a long way to ask if I'm okay." He pulled T'Pol into his lap and wrapped his arms around her waist and burrowed his face into her neck. Trip couldn't help but think how good she smelled.
" You have not answered my question." Trip chuckled and pulled back.
" I'm fine. Just a little sad that we couldn't help them more. I know that it was the right thing to do but still makes me sad." Trip can feel her understanding through their bond. " I don't want to talk about the planet. How about you tell me about the other parts of your week. You know stuff."
" Stuff?" Trip gave her a look.
" You know what I meant T'Pol. I love you but come on now is not the time to play clueless Vulcan." T'Pol decided to ignore the comment he made.
" I went to the doctor and he filled a cavity." Trip is grinning now.
" You my logical Vulcan wife got a cavity. Have you not been brushing your teeth 2 times a day?" It was her time to give him a look. " Alright I get it. You told me that pecan pie ain't good on your Vulcan teeth and I should have listened but it was good wasn't it?" She gave him another look but this time he just laughed and kissed her. She pulled back and started talking again.
" Phlox also asked me about being romantically involved with a human." Shock came onto Trip's face.
" No way is he thinking about dating a human?"
" I am unsure. He said it was for both personal and scientific reasons. I did not ask more about the subject."
" Well what did you say. Oh let me guess. That humans are the best lovers you have ever had." Trip said with a smirk.
" Though my time with the male gender in that field is quite limited I will admit that you are the best I have had personally experience. With that being said it was not the answer that I gave. I told the doctor that even though you are quite emotional you make competent spouses."
" Competent eh? Well I guess I just have to change your mind." Trip said before taking her to their bed. Yes T'Pol is getting better at making her husband feel better.
