There's some days you just wake up feeling fine and some you wake up absolutely ready to die. For me today , i felt like I can take on the world today. I don't know the reason , maybe I'm just refreshed or the mutual confession with Rio that set me up with this good mood.
Anyways , i went ahead and readied up for school , getting my books ready and took a look at my watch
Huh...just in time , It would be so awesome if i met Rio on my way again. Maybe i should ask her if she feels like walking to home and school together...
I headed in the station and headed to my platform as i saw some really familiar face there.
"Morning Rio" I said with a wide smile walking up to her.
"Oh , Morning Yuzu" she replied with a bright smile back...god i need to protect that smile.
"You Look cute today" I replied.
"Th..thank you.." she said shying away, "By the way , i wanted to ask you something" she replied.
"go ahead , you don't need to ask for permission from me" I replied with a chuckle.
"Can we..." she said.
"Can we?" I asked.
"Can we...walk to and from school together from now?" she asked as i saw her cheeks getting rosey.
"Are you a psychic by any chance? I had the same thought in morning and was about to ask you that today" i replied.
"You did?!" She exclaimed.
"Yeap and yeah of course. I'll meet you at your home at 7:30 everyday?" I asked.
"Yeah , that'll be fine by me" She replied.
[Time Skip]
"Dude I'm hungry..." Sakuta said as the the lunch break just started.
"Have you brought your Tiffin today?" Mai San asked him walking up to his bench.
"Unfortunately , no. But if my girlfriend is offering to feed me , I can't refuse it" Sakuta replied with his signature smirk.
"Sakuta..." Mai san replied unamused.
"Yuzu...have you brought your lunchbox?" Rio asked smiling.
"I'm pretty sure I di-" I began saying as I swung my hand through my bag realising that the lunchbox isn't there! HOW THE HELL...OH GOD I FORGOT TO TAKE THE BOX FROM THE KITCHEN.
Rio probably saw the fear on my face , "You forgot it didn't you" she sighed.
"I guess hehe" I chuckled.
"Here. I made a little extra today" she said offering her lunchbox up.
"Oooo really? Thank you!" I said Taking one of what looked like a sushi but with unusual texture? "This is delicious, what is it?" I asked as i chewed it down.
"It's something i saw on the internet yesterday , ALSO stop speaking while you say" she said making a face full of concern.
"Sorry" i chuckled.
"You two seem close eh?" I heard Kunimi's voice.
"Huh...ehm eh...it's just ehhh" Rio began saying but going full red.
She's so cute
"Oh , we're a couple now...ehm" I also said scratching my head.
"Wait what?!" Kunimi said.
"I'm not surprised" Sakuta added.
"You two really look cute together" Mai San added smiling.
"Th.. thank you" We both said in unison.
I looked back at Saki sitting adjacent to Kunimi with a smirk on her face , she does hate Rio dosen't she?
Anyways after a bit of teasing and eating the food up , the break ended and we were thrown back into the depths of hell of the school.
After a long and tiring day , the school was about to end.
"Oh yea , we'll be heading off to the temple and other historic places tommorow. This will be a 3 day educational trip. All those who are interested should come to school tommorow and others who don't can just enjoy a 3 day holiday" said the teacher collecting his books.
"Whaaaa?!"
"I'm definitely going'
"Guess I'll enjoy being home"
"Now now , you can discuss it after the school " said the teacher exiting the class.
[Time Skip]
We were heading to the station together , it's just that our trains are different , route is kinda similar.
"Are you planning to go Rio?" I asked her as she was walking right with me.
"I do really wanna go...but..." She began saying.
"But?" I asked.
"Are you interested in going?" She asked.
"I'm totally in, if you're in so am I" I replied smiling.
I saw a hint of blush creep up her cheeks.
"Now aren't they already lovey dovey" Kunimi teased us.
"Atleast someone is lovey dovey" Saki said pinching Kunimi.
"Own Hey cmon Saki, you know that i love you" Kunimi said.
"Baka!" Saki replied fuming up.
"Sakuta , if you're planning to go. What about Kaede?" Mai San asked Sakuta.
"Well she can live alone , but since she's recently got her memories back...I don't really wanna leave her alone" Sakuta replied thinking.
"If that's the case , I'll tell Nodoka to accompany her" Mai replied sighing.
"You will? Thanks a lot Mai San!" Sakuta replied.
[Time Skip]
"Alright Rio. See ya tommorow" I said walking her to the gate of her house.
"Mhm" she nodded. "Can you give me..." She mumbled something.
"Uhm sorry?" I asked.
"Can you..give me a hug..." She requested furrowing her eyebrows.
"Su..sure" i replied walking upto her.
She wasted no time hugging me up tightly , "Thank you.." she uttered.
"You don't need to thank me...you don't need to ask for these stuff with me Rio. Don't hold back" I said caressing her hair.
"Okay..." She replied still not letting me go.
After good 5-7 minutes she let go with a bright smile on her face, "don't be late tommorow" I said.
"You got it" I said making a thumbs up.
"See ya" she said waving as I waved right back walking away.
I need to go and pack stuff man , not to forget homework and then the most exciting part. Planning stuff out with Rio over texts. I just hope we don't run into problems over there.
God this life is filled with rush isn't it?
