28. Chapter 28

INT./EXT. Morgan and Prentiss in the other SUV - DAY (Scene 5.3)

Morgan and Prentiss exit the car, and walk around the front lawn. It's dirty but seemingly abandoned. The exterior walls are a grungy white, coated in layers of dirt.

For a janitor, it's surprising, but knowing about the socioeconomic status of the neighborhood, had it been cleaned up, it would have stuck out like a sore thumb. Prentiss lifts up a trash can lid.

Prentiss: Well, here's where he's been dumping the mess from the murders

She holds the lid open for Morgan to see, repulsed by the stench of rotting blood. He nods, and sends a text to FLPC Sawyer for him to send a crime scene unit to them. Then he makes a call.

Morgan [on the phone]: Hotch, we're here at the condo but it looks empty. No one's home.

Prentiss and Morgan look around. Morgan is still on the phone. The scene ends
