Also don't forget to spread the word about this story! Now without further ado, let's get into this chapter!
Last Time on Total Drama Reborn, I was 'captured' by a certain someone and it was up to the remaining contestants to 'save' me. Each team took their own means of transportation. (shows clips of Teams Brawn, Brains and Beauty taking the bus, subway and biking respectively.)
Eva was too focused on beating up the baddies to help her team escape the bus so she, Brick and Bridgette were trapped. Meanwhile, Katie's quick thinking prevented her team into falling for a potential trap and Ezekiel accidentally jinxed his team into losing 4/6 of their members.
"Ahem!" interrupted Cody.
Don turned to the geek. "You've got some nerve being here, you know. I should have you and Max kicked off for that little stunt you pulled not too long ago."
"Oh yeah, hehe..."
"But since you're here you obviously have something to say, right?"
"Of course, I just wanted to let the you and the audience know that I let myself get captured so Noah and Max would be forced to work together."
"So you left your team's fate in the hands of Noah and Max."
Cody nods his head. "I knew it was the only way those two would work together and as far as I'm concerned, it worked."
"Touché. Now leave so I can finish the recap."
"You bet."
Meanwhile, Team Beauty was already at the CN Tower and decided to wait on the other teams in hopes of forming a truce but Noah and Max had other plans, sabotaging Trent and Sammy's chances to win the challenge but at the of the day Lindsay won the challenge. Proving that cheaters never prosper.
"But they didn't even cheat!" A distant Cody shouted.
Don ignored him and continued with his recap. "Seven down. Sixteen to go. What will today have in store for the contestants? You'll find out soon on TOTAL! DRAMA! REBORN!

Chapter XI: Mutiny on Set!
The episode begins with Ezekiel and Cody having a conversation while enjoying their breakfast.
Ezekiel looked up from his pancakes. "Why are you friends with Noah anyways?"
The geek finished the last bite of his waffle. "Hrm? Does this have something to do with yesterday?"
"Um...maybe..."
Cody patted Ezekiel's back. "I wouldn't think too hard about it if I were you. Noah's usually like that around people he isn't comfortable with. Just give him some time and he'll come around."
"I sure hope so, eh."
Dawn suddenly appeared in front of the two boys. "Excuse me, may I have a word with Ezekiel?"
They both jumped out of their seats in shock.
Dawn looked down at the homeschooled kid. "Oops, I should really work on that. Anyways, your answer, Ezekiel?"
"Uh, sure. I wouldn't mind the chance to chat with you."
"Excellent. Meet me in the lobby when you're done."
"See you...there?"
And just like that, Dawn vanished as quickly as she appeared...
"I never bothered to ask but how are you feeling?"
Ezekiel nervously shifted in his seat. "W-What do you mean?"
"You've never lasted longer than the first challenge, being here at this point must be like, a whole new experience for you, right?"
"Yeah that's facts, eh. I have good friends, I'm loving this rad hotel we're staying in and Don treats me pretty well."
Cody taps his chin. "Oh yeeaaaah, you probably hate Chris after all the crap he put you through. I'm surpised you haven't killed him or something, but then again you still seemed pretty pissed yesterday when Chris was talking to you. Do you wanna...um...talk about it?"
Ezekiel got up from his seat. "Thanks for caring about me but I'll pass, eh."
Cody rose from his seat as well. "No dude. You're not gonna pass on this. I saw how you acted when Chris was talking to you yesterday. I was up all night thinking of how bad of a person I was for not helping you on the plane. You were alone, scared and broken. No one should EVER have to go through the pain you did."
Ezekiel was shocked. He didn't know Cody had felt this way for so long. Although it would be hypocritical of him to chastise Cody for bottling his feelings, the thought still remained in his head. Even after he began his rehabilitation people avoided him like he was the bubonic plague. He just wished someone would see him for who he is instead of what he was. Luckily, his wish came true.
"You're an awesome friend and I'll-"
Cody was interrupted via his friend hugging him. He could feel the anguish coming from his hug. So he rubbed his back until he felt a weird stinging sensation...
"Uh Zeke, could you maybe let go for a second?"
Once he got off Cody realized there were burn marks on his clothes. "Aw maaaan, this was my favorite outfit."
Ezekiel wiped his tears and realized what Cody meant. "My bad, eh. My um...features come out when my emotions take over. That's why I have to do my best to keep calm."
"It's alright. We're all human. Our emotions can't stay locked up forever."
Ezekiel nodded in agreement. "Dawn's still waiting on me outside but do you wanna watch some anime with me and Leonard afterwards?"
"Sure. Do what you gotta do."
And with that Cody left the lounge.
Ezekiel felt accomplished. He broke his first boot curse, managed to make friends (Cody and Leonard and Rodney) and even found someone who he could relate to (Dakota) but even then, the $2,000,000 was still fresh on his mind. If he ever wanted to become fully human again, that money was his best shot.
Ezekiel met Dawn in the lobby, just like she said to.
"Ezekiel I'm proud of you. Exposing yourself to Cody, Leonard, and Dakota must have been very difficult." beamed the moonchild, she looked very pleased with his progress.
"Well yeah, that's a part of my life I wish I could ignore...but I can't, if I want to change for the better, eh."
"That's good, you're making great strides towards your recovery."
"Thanks for agreeing to be my therapist, eh."
The moonchild nodded. "You're welcome. Anything to help a wayward soul."
Laundry Room
"Aaaand done!" Brick said, putting the last of his freshly cleaned clothes in his laundry basket.
As he walked out of the laundry room, a slip of paper slipped out of his pocket which a nearby Katie happened to pick up.
"What's this? Some kind of clothing sketch?" the sweet girl wondered, eyeing the paper.
Brick quickly snatched the paper. "Ssssh! It's a surprise for Sammy..."
A mischievous grin rose on her face. "You don't like like her, dooooo you?"
"Of course not. We're just teammates and nothing more." The cadet flatly said.
"So you guys aren't even friends? Then why are you making such a fuss about this?"
"Like I said before it's a surprise and I also need an excuse to test my sewing skills."
Katie's face lit up. "OMG! I love to sew! Me and Sadie sew clothes for each other like, all the time. You just gotta let me help you with this, pleeeaaaaaase?"
"I dunno...I was thinking of doing this solo."
"C'mon just let me help, you're not the only person that knows a thing or two about fashion."
"And what exactly will happen if I say no?"
"Easy. I'll tell Sammy, ruin your surprise and-"
Brick cut her off. "Fine...you can help..."
Katie jumped and clapped her hands in delight. "Yay! This is gonna be so much fun! I can't wait to tell Lindsay!"
Brick outstretched his hand in an effort to get Katie but it was too late...
"I sure hope I don't end up regretting this..." he said to himself.
Library
The camera switches over to Sierra and Topher, who appear to knee-deep in a conversation.
"Let me get this straight, you run all of those fan blogs by yourself?"
"Duh, someone has to and there's no one more qualified than me."
"Fair enough, I'm just glad to meet someone who's just a big a fan as me." Topher sighed in relief.
"Uh, no offense, but weren't you a huge Chris fan?" Sierra quizzically asked, eyeing the McLean wannabe.
Topher dismissively waves his hand. "No way, I was just kissing up to Chris to get on his good side."
"I've been there too, it does nothing but boost his already inflated ego."
Topher nodded his head. "Trust me, I'm never making that mistake ever again."
Sierra suddenly moved closer to Topher. "So are the rumors true? Did Chris reeeallly lose his mind that season? Did they really leave Dave back on Pahkitew Island? Was Scarlett really insane? Is Jasmine really that tall or was it just CGI?"
Topher grabbed a nearby pen, pretending it was a mic while doing his best Chris imitation. "Oh yeah, dude was so insane. It was like, how has he not been arrested and from what a little bird told me, they 'accidentally' left him (Dave) behind, (rolls eyes) yeah right. Scarlett? She was insane to the max. Put Izzy, claustrophobic Gwen and aerophobic Owen in a blender and add some smarts and you have your very own Scarlett! Seriously, she could've killed everyone on the Island. I dunno why Chris didn't send her to jail. Oh yeah, Jasmine! Consdering I was trapped in a tunnel with her, I'd like to say yes, she IS that freakishly tall. (taps his chin) Makes you wonder what they feed people in Australia..."
Sierra toppled over in laughter. "That was...(wheeze)... the funniest thing I've heard since...EVER! You should consider becoming a comedian."
Topher's eyes sparkled upon receiving Sierra's compliment. "Thanks Sierra, but you haven't seen anything seen anything yet. (leans in closer to her) Have you ever heard of the Topher Experience?"
Before Sierra could open her mouth the intercom came on.
"ATTENTION CONTESTANTS! MEET ME AT THE LOBBY IMMEDIATELY! I HAVE A SPECIAL SUPRISE WAITING FOR YOU ALL!"
Sierra clapped her hands in joy. "EEEEEEE! I love surprises! (grabs Topher's arm) C'mon, let's go!"
"Sierra wait, hold ooooooonn!" Just like that, the pretty boy was whisked away by the unusually strong Sierra.
Confessional: Topher
Topher is seen clutching his wrist. "Just when I thought Jasmine had an iron grip, Sierra goes to the extreme. If diamond grip were a thing she'd totally have it. Huh, that actually sounds pretty cool..."
Lobby
Don stood among the confused contestants. "As you-"
"Where's the surprise? I really really reeeaaallly wanna see it." An overjoyed Sierra blurted out.
"Well-"
"There is no surprise, we've all been lied to." Noah said, shrugging his shoulders.
Tyler turned to the nihilist. "C'mon Noah, lighten up. (playfully slugs him in the shoulder) Don's probably got something really awesome for us."
Noah simply rolled his eyes at the jock while rubbing his shoulder.
"Ahem. If you'd let me finish, I was going to say that our lovely charter bus will be taking us to today's surprise. So without further ado, let's go."
While everyone else was making their way to the bus, Tyler pulled Cody aside.
"Yo Cody, you mind if I sit next to Noah today?"
"Sure but you could've just asked him yourself, you know."
"I could've but I felt like giving you a heads-up, man." the jock fibbed.
"Well ok, (shrugs) good luck with...whatever you're trying to do."
"Thanks Cody, you're the best!" the jock exclaimed while patting Cody's back a little too hard, causing him to fall over."
Charter Bus
Don was impatiently tapping his foot while checking his watch. "If those two don't get here in the next 5 minutes we're leaving them. We can't afford to be behind schedule."
As if on cue, both boys arrived and boarded the bus.
"Speak of the devil, or devils in this case. What took you two so long?"
Tyler was about to speak when Cody placed his hand over his mouth. "We were just talking about where you'd be taking us and we lost track of time. Our mistake."
"I'm glad you two are getting in the challenge spirit but next time try to be punctual."
They both nodded as they took their seats. Unfortunately for Noah, Tyler invited himself to sit right next to him.
"Hey Noah, don't leave me hanging!" Tyler said, offering the brainiac a raised hand.
Noah completely ignored this as he simply stared out of the window.
Confessional: Noah
"Eva probably put him up to this. I don't know what exactly I'm supposed to do about my plans for a lasting alliance but I suppose recruiting Tyler isn't a bad first step. He does have the strength I lack and he's a lot easier to manage than Captain Pantswetter."
Tyler repeatedly tapped Noah's shoulder in hopes of getting some type of response. "Hey Noah, Nooooaaaahhh."
He slowly turned his head and looked Tyler in the eyes. "Yes Tyler? Do you need something?"
"Thank goodness you answered dude. I just wanted to tell you that I've decided on being your personal trainer."
"I knew I should've ignored him..." Noah thought to himself.
"Thanks but no thanks. My brain and me have made it just fine in life, thank you very much."
"But just imagine how much better you could be if you had brains and an awesome body to go with it, eh? eh?"
Noah chose not to dignify his offer with a verbal response, instead he continued to blankly stare at him, causing the jock to feel quite uncomfortable.
"That's cool. If words won't work then I'll have to show you why you need me."
Noah cringed upon realizing what Tyler meant as he proceeded to take off his shirt and flex his muscles at him.
Meanwhile in another part of the bus, Cody and Max were in the middle of another game of chess.
"Ha, you left yourself open. My pawn totally wrecked your bishop." Cody said, beaming with confidence.
The self-proclaimed super villain was flabbergasted at the move. "I-inconceivable! How could I, the great Maximilian have been bested by a simple pawn!"
"Easy. You think way too hard dude."
"What good is a chess player if they can't think a few steps ahead? Riddle me that."
"Thinking ahead of your opponents is good and all but you're so focused on thinking about your next move that you don't pay attention to your current move. That's why I was able to swoop in and take your bishop."
Max pulled out his pocket notebook and began to scribble some notes inside.
Trent peered over his seat. "Hey guys, are you still in the middle of your game?"
"Nah, if we continued I'd totally crush Max."
"As if!"
"Yeah, uh huh, and who's won more games out of the two of us?"
"Th-that's irrelevant! Evil never surrenders!"
"And evil doesn't get heated over taking Ls in chess." The geek said, playfully flicking Max's nose.
"Anyways..it's been a long time coming but I just wanted to say thanks Cody."
"Hm? For what?"
"For getting me and Ella together. She told me how you broke down the events of leading up to me and Gwen breaking up."
"I'm glad to see my intel was put to good use, and you know what?" beamed the casanova wannabe.
"What?" asked the musician.
"This makes the Codemeister 2 for 2! Start calling me cupid because I rock at getting people together."
"I gotta give you credit Cody, you're practically my love manager. By the way, who's the little dude sitting next to you?" Trent said, pointing to Max.
Max crossed his arms and pouted. "Hmmph! I'm insulted that you can't recognize such a magnificent visage."
An awkward silence followed his claim until Trent had an epiphany. "Oh yeah! I remember you now, you teamed up with Cody to take me out during the paintball challenge. (leans towards Max) By the way, the best sneak attacks are done quietly."
"It would've been quiet if a certain someone listened to me." Cody said through his teeth.
Max looked completely clueless. "Huh? Who's the someone?! They'll pay for screwing up our plan!"
"Actually, that someone was you." Cody explained, pointing his finger at Max in sync with the end of his sentence.
"Irrelevant! That's has nothing to do with the success of our technique, isn't that right um...um...what's your name?"
"The name's Trent. Nice to officially meet you." He proceed to outstretch his arm for a handshake.
"My name is Maximilian, Lord of Evil but you can call me Max. N-nice to meet you." He replied, awkwardly accepting Trent's gesture.
"Awww. Look at you two getting along." Cody said in a mocking tone.
Max and Trent rolled their eyes in response to Cody's taunt.
"So Max, what do you do for fun? Other than playing chess of course."
"I'm glad you asked. My hobbies include building machines, playing video games and everything EVIL! MWHAHAHAHAHA! (coughs) and that's all you need to know.
Trent looked a tad weirded out. "Uh, ok-"
Cody loudly coughed. "(cough) Bullshit! (cough)"
Trent raised an eyebrow. "What was that?"
Confessional: Trent
"Yep it's official, Max is either a dedicated actor or a grade A weirdo."
Before either Max or Cody had a chance to respond, the bus' intercom came to life. "We're almost at our stop so I advise all of our passengers to put on the complimentary blindfolds that will be handed out by yours truly."
Multiple hands shot in the air.
Don took a lengthy sigh. "If you don't wear them you're automatically disqualified from today's challenge."
And just like that, all of the hands quickly descended.
As Don walked down to the aisle to pass out the blindfolds Sammy was sharing her thoughts with Dawn and Bridgette.
"Brick's been acting super weird around me lately." The nice twin confessed.
"Weird how?" Dawn quizzically asked.
"Well for starters he's been having trouble saying my name, and Brick always tries his hardest to learn everyone's name."
Dawn nodded in agreement. "That's true, Brick is a very courteous person."
"And now whenever he sees me, he turns into a blushing mess and leaves any area we're both in. Do you guys think he's hiding something?"
Bridgette gave her worried friend a sly grin. "Oh he's hiding something alright."
"Like what?"
"Come on, don't make me spell it out." teased the surfer girl.
Sammy turned to her other best friend. "Dawn, could you pleeease tell me what this all means?"
"Of course. Bridgette is implying that Brick may have romantic feelings for you."
Sammy gasped. Her face flushed red as she simply had no idea what to do with this information. Brick was an amazing leader, an even better person and she even began forming feelings of her own towards him but...her thoughts were cut off by an approaching Don.
"Ladies, here are your blindfolds."
"Um, thanks..." Sammy uttered as she put it on.
(No boy has ever crushed on me before, what do I do? How long has he been into me? How will I be able to deal with this? What about Topher? Oh man, oh man, oh man-)
She was brought out of her thoughts via the gentle touch of Dawn.
"You'll be fine." She assured with her silky-smooth voice.
"But I didn't say anything..."
"I can read your thoughts, you know. Everything will be alright. Me and Bridgette will have your back."
"Totally! I obviously can't read minds like Dawn but if Brick's still on your mind I'll do everything I can to help you through it."
"Awww, thanks. You guys are the best."
"Of course we are, now bring it in you two."
The trio shared a heart-felt hug which helped to put Sammy at ease. Prior to coming on TDR Sammy had a difficult time standing up to Amy. While Jasmine tried her best to help her in Pahkitew Island, it was clear she needed more than just someone telling her to stand up for herself. She needed an environment where she felt comfortable, an environment where she could flourish and be herself. Being with Bridgette and Dawn, being on this season of Total Drama and being without the she-devil known as Amy all helped to make her feel comfortable and safe. Truthfully, she hadn't felt this way in a while and the thought of having to go back home to see her "sister" made her frown. She knew it was going to happen but...
"I wish I could stay here forever..." she thought out loud.
Bridgette and Dawn caught wind of the comment and looked at her with great concern.
"Ladies! I'd hate to break up your precious moment but we have a schedule to follow. Link hands so you don't trip, okay?"
As Don requested, the trio linked hands and walked carefully out of the bus.
Confessional: Bridgette
"Poor Sammy... while she was busy in her thoughts Dawn told me what was going on in her head and from what she tells us, her sister sounds like a terrible person. No wonder she wants to stay here, I would too if I had to go back to an abusive sister."
With all 16 contestants outside of the bus, Don could finally reveal the suprise.
"Alright guys, blindfolds off!"
As the cast took their blindfolds off, there were a variety of reactions from the cast. The most ones notable being Cody, Leonard and Ezekiel's triple high-five, Dakota's overly dramatic gasp and-
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
Nearly everyone looked towards Katie.
"It's not me." she shrugged.
"It's true, if she started that annoying squealing I would've lost it." Dakota assured.
"Wow...thanks Dakota..." Katie said through a forced smile.
"Awww, you're welcome."
Confessional: Katie
"That girl really can't take a hint."
Anyways, today's challenge is-"
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
Noticing Don's irritation, the constestants quickly spilt into two sides, exposing Topher and Sierra as the squealers.
"Are you two DONE yet?"
Sierra nodded her head vigorously "Mhm, we're just sooooo excited that we get to do a challenge at the-"
Topher nudged her stomach as a warning to stop.
"Thank you Topher. As I was going to say, today's challenge takes place here; the iconic abandoned film lot from Total Drama Action!"
Dakota sprung to life. "Are we gonna be movie stars?! I've been waiting my whole life for this moment, the world will finally know the name Dakota Milton-"
Don and Chef shared a brief glance and a nod before the latter approached her with an airhorn behind his back.
"Chef? I always knew you had good taste. Get my good side, okay?"
While Dakota was busy posing, Chef brought out an airhorn, causing the other contestants to back away quickly.
"You guys gave me space? Awww you're all the best-"
Chef blared the airhorn in front of her with no hesitation.
BBBBBBRRRRRRRRNNNNNN!
Dakota squealed and fell over in shock.
"Good one Chef, (high fives Chef) like our superstar wannabe said, some of you will become movie stars because in today's challenge you'll be making a short film!"
Confessional: Sammy
"I love movies! Especially those really old ones where a princess is saved by her true love..."
"Isn't there some kind of catch?" Bridgette said, eyeing Don.
"I'm aware that Chris would typically have some suprise up his sleeve but I promise this is a simple challenge. You have 20 minutes to come up with the genre you want to choose and the basic plot of your movie. After that the team captain decides the roles and that's it. Your movies have to be between 10-15 minutes long, you'll have until 3pm tomorrow to complete this challenge, and a special panel of guest judges await you."
Confessional: Bridgette
"After all the trouble Chris put us through, a host like Don is the change of scenery we are all begging for. I'm just thankful we can do challenges without worrying about the risk of death."
"Before you go, here's a map for each team. This film lot is pretty huge and I don't wanna risk any of you getting lost. With that being said, your challenge starts...NOW!"
Team Brawn
While the other teams darted off to gather props and costumes, Brick had his team stay at the starting point.
"So team, what's the plan?" Brick asked.
Sammy slowly rose her hand.
"Yes Sammy?"
"I think, we should...choose a fairytale for our movie's genre...if you don't mind..."
"That's a great idea!" lauded Brick.
Sierra nodded her head in agreement. "You can never go wrong with fairytales."
"So which kind are you going with?" Brick brought up.
"Well, I was thinking that we could choose one where a princess gets kidnapped by an evil ogre and a knight in shining armor saves her."
"Anything else?" the cadet inquired.
"Yes, if it's okay with you all I'd like to be the princess."
"Well duh, it's your idea. You deserve the starring role." Tyler chimed in.
"Thanks, you guys. Let's put our all into this." Sammy beamed, her confidence growing with each word.
Confessional: Brick
"Sammy's really been coming out her shell lately, I was worried she'd continue to keep to herself but she's really been pulling her weight lately. I admire that kind of strength."
Team Brains - Costume Room
"Got any ideas for our movie?" Noah asked Dawn.
"I'm afraid not, the arts are not where my strengths lie. Why don't you ask our other teammates?"
"That's why." Noah said, pointing in the direction of his teammates who were messing around with different props and costumes.
"Noah." She put her hand on his shoulder. "You need to trust in your teammates. None of them wish to sabotage this challenge, They're just having fun."
Noah rolled his eyes. "Can't that wait until after the challenge?"
"Lighten up. You're taking this competition a bit too seriously. It's all over your aura."
Noah opened his mouth but was interrupted via Dawn.
"I know how you feel, it's okay to have a competitive drive but you'll push away your teammates away if you keep going down your current path. Have faith in them Noah, they're capable of more than you realize."
Noah took a deep breath. "You're right. Thanks for the talk."
"Anytime."
Noah approached the rest of his team. "So guys, got any ideas for our movie?"
Leonard was the first to pitch his idea. "Imagine this. A world where wizards are forced to keep their magic a secret until a mysterious enemy forces them out hiding..."
"Not bad. Next."
"Ooh, ooh! It's my turn, eh! Check it. It's about a rapper-"
"I can see where this is going..." Noah though to himself.
"-and he's in prison for planning to leak some of the government's biggest secrets so he teams up with his fellow prisoners to bust him out and reveal the truth. Pretty dope, right?
"That was actually pretty good. Nice idea Ezekiel." Noah said with a genuine smile.
Confessional: Ezekiel
"What's the deal with Noah? He was mean to me not too long ago and now he compliments my idea? Is this what Cody meant by 'coming around?' 'Cause I'm all for it and that's on cod! Uh, did I say that right?"
"What about you Cody?"
"I don't have any ideas, I actually wanted to work on lights and special effects." voiced the tech geek.
"Alright, now that everyone's done sharing their ideas, I-
AHEM!
"-have to go into our team's trailer and write a-
AHEM!
"-draft for our script. Do you guys hear anything or is that just the wind?"
Unaware of Noah's joke, Ezekiel answered honestly. "I'm pretty sure Max is-"
Leonard whispered into his friend's ear.
"Ohhhhhh, yeah it's totally the wind, eh."
"I thought so. See ya."
Max intercepted Noah's path. "Not so fast, ex-henchman."
Noah walked around Max to his team's trailer.
Max however, was having none of this and made a last-ditch effort to get the brainiac's attention.
"STOP IGNORING ME YOU BIG MEAN JERK!" Max bitterly shouted via a megaphone he found.
"I never knew evil could be so whiny." teased Noah
Max crossed his arms and scowled at him. "I wasn't whining, I was just trying to get your undivided attention."
"Well you have it, pitch your idea to me."
"It's about time. So it starts like-"
"No."
Cody immediately went over to Noah. "Uh dude, Max looks pretty pissed. You should just let him pitch his idea and get this over with."
Noah glanced at Max, he was red as a beet and was visibly shaking with anger.
"Alright, alright. Max, I wanna hear you out. For real this time."
The self-proclaimed supervillain stomped his foot. "Hmmph! It's about time, now like I was saying, my idea starts with a scientist who was framed for a deadly lab accident he had no part of but no one believes him, forcing him to turn to the dark side and embrace his inner evil to get revenge on those who framed him."
"That actually sounds pretty good but I already have something if mind for the movie."
"What might that be?" asked Leonard.
"I'll just combine all of your ideas into one movie."
"Nay! Evil shares the spotlight with no one!"
"You'll live, besides you're the main villain."
"And that's why you're the captain."
Noah simply smacked his forehead while Cody was heard laughing in the background.
Team Beauty - School Set
Team Beauty picked their genre (musical) and were about to go on break.
"Cut!" shouted Lindsay.
"Nice call, we could really use a break." Trent said, putting down a prop guitar.
"Yeah, my limbs are feeling like spaghetti after that last scene." Topher complained.
"Uh, guys? What are you doing?" Dakota complained.
"Taking a break, duh." retorted Katie.
"Why?! We were doing so well on the last scene, we were harmonizing and everything!"
"Dakota, calm down. We all want this movie to be at it's best but we can't do that without a break here and there." coaxed Trent.
"Fine, but don't think for a minute I'm fine taking orders from her." she huffed, pointing her index finger towards Lindsay who was sitting comfortably in the director's chair.
"You could've been a director, you know." suggested Lindsay.
"And have the world miss out on my singing and acting skills? Absolutely not. I'm STILL trying to get my spin-off series." reprimanded the rich blonde.
"You know, all this drama would've been nice if we could integrate it into our movie." advised Topher.
"How would we even be able to do that?" Lindsay asked the aspiring host.
Topher winked at her while giving a reassuring smile. "Just leave that to me."
Gilded Chris Amphitheater
Don and the special guest judges were in the midst of a conversation.
"Gwen. Shawn. Sam. I take it that the ride here was to your liking?"
"Yeah!" Sam raised his fist in the air. "It was the second best thing to ever happen to me in my entire life!" The gamer continued to ramble. "You had every single soda, energy drink and chip variety known to mankind. It was like a gamer's paradise..."
"Anything for our guests. Thank you for coming." Don said, shaking his hand with a hint of aggressiveness.
"Heh, nice iron grip man." Sam winced, clutching his hand all the while.
Don noticed Shawn messing with his vest and decided to question him next.
"Shawn?"
No response.
"Shawn?"
To Don, it appeared as if Shawn was fidgeting with his vest like he was in his own world but in reality he was searching for something very important. You see, Shawn was distraught at the prospect of being away from his girlfriend, Jasmine. Aside from being as perfect as they come, she served as his anchor as he doesn't have the best of luck with social interactions as most of the time he'll be trying to convince of others that the zombie apocalypse or he'll try to give survival tips that end up going awry as it connect back to zombies, usually ending with a deminishing scoff or laughter at his expense. He just couldn't understand why people didn't take his warnings or suggestions seriously, don't people want to survive?! Jasmine, knowing and loving Shawn for who we truly is, decided to gift him her first hunting knife. Losing it would absolutely shatter Shawn as it meant his only connection to his girlfriend was gone.
"Yeah, yeah, the ride was great, can I go now?" he croaked.
Don could tell something was off but decided not to pry. "Ok, help yourself to the crafts and services tent."
"Gee thanks." He mumbled before solemnly walking off.
Words couldn't describe how he was feeling right now. He knew Jasmine would forgive him over losing the knife because she was understanding like that but it was just so important to him. He went inside the crafts and services tent hoping he could drown his sorrows in food.
Crafts and Services Tent
Shawn plopped himself on a seat and dropped his head on the wooden table.
"Yo Zombie Boy."
Shawn looked up and saw it was none other than Chef calling him from the kitchen.
"Weird. I don't remember you ever being able to cook." Shawn pointed out.
"You must be as slow as you are paranoid. I didn't get this nickname for nothing." chastised Chef as he handed Shawn a plate of hot dogs."
Unlike Don, he chose to comment on his current mood. "What's got you so down?"
"I lost something special to me."
Chef took a seat across from the zombie conspiracist because he already knew he was in for a long story...
Gilded Chris Amphitheater
"...and here's a map of the facility for the each of you as well as this these cards with the teams as well as their members, should you wanna see a certain someone." Don concluded his instructions with a wink aimed at Gwen.
Gwen grimaced at the host as she rolled her eyes and stormed off the the confessional.
"Touchy..." Don grumbled to himself.
"I'm gonna um...go now..." Sam nervously said as he ran off to wherever Dakota might be.
Confessional: Gwen
She slams the door of the confessional before sitting down and taking a deep breath. "I should've known better then to come back on this stupid show. She takes a lengthy sigh. "To make matters worse, both Trent AND Cody are here! Me and Trent never officially made up but...I don't know if I still have feelings for him or if I just want to be friends but I do know how I feel about Cody, that weird little perv will do anything to getmy attention and it make so...ARGH!" The goth girl storms out of the confessional, feeling even more distressed than when she came in.
Team Beauty - School Set
"Alright guys, break's over. Let make this the best musical ever." Trent said, raising his fist in the air to encourage the team.
"Yeah, if we do good enough maybe the networks will finally give me my own-"
TAP! TAP! TAP! Someone was tapping Dakota's shoulder.
Dakota turned around and instantly squealed in delight "Sammy-poo?! How and why are you here?" She quickly shook her head. "Nevermind that, I'm just sooo glad you're here." She tackled him to the ground and ambushed him with a flurry of kisses.
Lindsay and Katie cooed at the couple's display of affection.
"Awwww aren't the just the cutest?" Katie gushed
"Yeah they're super cute." Lindsay agreed.
"But you and Tyler are waaay cuter."
"You really think so?"
"I know so."
"You're the best, Katie!"
The two girls shared a tight hug before Katie suddenly let go to whisper something in Lindsay's ear. Lindsay had a somewhat curious expression to Katie's news but was cut off by Trent.
"Guys c'mon, we don't have all day you know."
Topher immediately chimed in. "He's right, these things don't make themselves so let's get to it."
Confessional: Topher
"I wouldn't consider me and Trent as friends but it goes without saying that me and him are definitely the most normal people on the team." He rested his head on his palm while using tapping his cheek via the same hand. "Now that I think about it, he could make for a good ally and we all know I could use a few."
The Chris wannabe tapped her shoulder. "Hey, Lindsay?"
"Hi Tommy, what do you need?"
"It's Topher, and I just wanted to know if I could be the director for the rest of the film."
"Oh my gosh, yes! Being a director is sooooo boring. Here take this, this, and that too." Lindsay said, handing over the script, clapperboard, and megaphone to him. "And don't forget this!" she said, putting a beret on his head.
"Uh, thanks but what's the beret for?"
"So you look the part, duh."
"Well, thanks. Now-"
AHEM!
Dakota let out an annoyingly loud cough, much to Topher's chagrin.
"Yes..Dakota?"
"I know you're the director and all but you could you please give Sam a part? Pretty pleeeeeeaaaasssee?"
Topher was struggling to find the best way to say no... "Well, I...um...fine." but he ultimately failed, Dakota's puppy eyes were just too strong.
Sam tried to interject. "But Dakota I-"
"Don't have any acting experience? Then you're in luck because I'm gonna teach you everything I know. This is gonna be great, we could even turn this into a date!"
Topher sat upon the director's chair and spoke into the megaphone Lindsay gave him. "Alright everyone, we have a lot to do-over so get into your places!"
Crafts and Services Tent
After a long, long, sorrow-filled explanation, Chef found himself crying at Shawn's story, handkerchief and all.
"That...is the true meaning of love. Stay right here, I've got something for you, zombie boy."
While Chef took his leave, Shawn began wondering what exactly he meant but he wasn't allowed to ponder for long because Chef quickly came out of the kitchen with a present in hand.
"What's that?" Shawn asked, pointing to the present.
"It's for you but I need you to promise me something before I give this to you."
"Alright."
"Don't open this until after you leave this place, okay?"
"Uh...okay?"
"I'm being serious." Chef sternly said.
"Okay, okay, I won't." the zombie nut promised.
"Also here, take this." Chef handed him a map as well as the cards of each team and their current members.
Shawn rose from his seat and thanked Chef for the map and hearing him out. Chef offered him a hug which he reluctantly accepted. After checking his body for zombie bites he quickly dashed out of the Crafts and Services tent.
"That kid sure is a weird one..." Chef mumbled to himself.
Confessional: Shawn
"The only person who's allowed to hug me is Jasmine. I only accepted Chef's because I'd be considered as "ungrateful" if I didn't. People always let their guard down when offered with a hug and BAM!" He smacks his fist into his palm. "That's when you get bitten by a zombie."
Shawn immediately threw out the cards for Teams Brain and Beauty because he just didn't care for the people there. So he made his sights for the only team left, Brawn.
Team Brawn - Fairytale Set
The cameras transitioned over to Team Brawn, currently in the middle of filming.
Sammy (Princess Serenity): Oh where is my prince, so gentle yet tough, so forthright yet compassionate. Oh where, oh where could beeee~
Tyler (The Ogre): Can you shut yer mouth already? I'm trying to take a nice nap and your singing isn't helping one bit. Now be a good hostage and PIPE DOWN!
The princess looked around her metal cage to see if there was anything that could help her escape. She kept looking and sifting the cage but she couldn't find a single thing. She sighed to herself.
Princess Serenity: This is hopeless, I'll never find a way out, unless...
She began to take a deep breath, to prepare the loudest noise know to mankind. She didn't care how upset the ogre would get. She needed a way out of here, now.
Princess Serenity: "SOMEONE HELP ME PLEEEEEAAASSSSEEE! Preferably a prince in shining armor..." she mumbled the last part to herself. "ANYONE WILL DO! JUST HELP ME ESCAAAAAA-"
Her cry for help was cut short via the ogre hitting one of her pressure points, causing her to faint.
Ogre: Hmmph! I told you to shut up! Now I can finally nap in peace.
Unbeknownst to the ogre, the princess' cry for help was heard in a land far, far, away called Dramaland.
James was in the middle of tending to knightly duties until he heard Princess Serenity's cry for help.
Brick (James): Hark! That was the call of a princess in need! My tasks can wait, I must find the source of distress and rescue her!
Without further ado, he put on his armor, equipped his sharpest sword and sat upon his steed as he set out on his quest to rescue the unknown princess.
Back at the Ogre's Tower...
Now that the ogre had his nap, he was finally able to think straight.
Ogre: Wait a minute...if I'm trying to lure a hero who's pure of heart for my potion, why did I silence the princess?
The camera made a sharp turn to a conveniently placed cauldron and turned back to the Ogre.
The Ogre's eyes went wide upon realizing his foolish mistake and immediately rushed to the princess to wake her up.
Ogre: Princess! Princess! I need you to wake up right now!
The princess quickly comes to, but jolts back in fear of the ogre.
Princess Serenity: "AAAAAAAAAAAAGH! SOMEONE HELP ME! THE OGRE IS GOING TO EAT ME!
Meanwhile in the Forest...
While on his quest to save Princess Serenity, the noble knight James seemed quite lost as he didn't have anything to help him track down the damsel in distress...
James: "This is hopeless, I know I can't give up on the poor princess but how am I supposed to find when I've been only using her screams as a guide to her location?"
Just then, the princess' screams could be heard and they were even louder, letting the knight know that he was going in the right path.
James: "Huzzah! I knew I was on the correct path! Let us charge forward my steed, for we have a princess to save, hyah!"
With newly found determination, the knight cracked the reins on his horse, causing him to head toward his location with even greater speed.
James: "Fret not princess, I'm coming to rescue you!"
James was in hot pursuit of the princess, scanning every angle to make sure he didn't miss out on anything...until he ran into a very, very, large tower.
James: "This seems like the place." he hops off of his horse. "Stay here and be good, okay?" he says to his steed before climbing the tower.
Inside the Ogre's Tower...
The princess was on the lookout for anyone who was willing to rescue her, but it'd been quite some time and she was beginning to lose hope.
She sighed aloud as she was beginning to accept her fate; being locked in the crustiest tower known to man.
But to her and the Ogre's relief, someone was climbing up to the tower and letting their presence known.
James: "Fair maiden, do not fear, for I am here!"
Princess Serenity: "That's wonderful but who are you?"
James finally finished climbing the tower so he could explain himself.
James: "I am James, a noble knight from the faraway kingdom of Dramaland! I heard your cries for help and I came to rescue-"
James collapsed to the ground via a poison needle shot by none other than the ogre himself.
Ogre: "That was much easier than I thought, I should've did this years ago!" the ogre bragged as he drew the knight's blood and put it in his cauldron.
Princess Serenity: "Uh hello?! Are you gonna let me free now?"
Ogre: Oh yeah, sure. He's gonna die soon and you have nothing better to do so I'll let you out."
The ogre unlocks her cage and she immediately goes to the dying knight.
Princess Serenity: "No way...this isn't how it's supposed to end..." she begins to cry. "My knight in shining armor is supposed to save me, we share a kiss and then we live happily after..."
Ogre: He turns his head towards the crying princess. "Well too bad! This is real life, not a stupid fairytale! If you thought that fool was gonna save you, you've gone mad!"
The princess kept crying and crying on James, but little did she know, her tears cleaned the knight of his poisoning.
James: "Huzzah! I've risen once again!" He unsheaths his sword and charges at the ogre. "Take this!"
Ogre: "Wait! You're weren't supposed to wake up so quickly, my potion isn't even-"
SLASH!
The valiant knight chopped the ogre's head clean off of his body, instantly ending him.
The princess ran up to the knight and hugged him, saying:
Princess Serenity: "My hero!" she proceeded to take off his helmet and kiss him on the cheek. "Let's go back to my castle, I'm sure my father will be very pleased to know such a brave knight rescued me from the clutches of that dirty ogre."
And then two climbed down the tower and rode off into the sunset...
The End.
Sammy spoke up. "Uh Sierra, as much as I loved the story and my role within it, won't the ending confuse the judges? We were supposed to go back to the castle."
Sierra nonchalantly shrugged her shoulders. "This is a fairytale, Sammy. Everyone knows they end with the guy getting the girl and then they run off into the sunset, duh. Besides, who watches a fairytale for consistent logic?"
"She does have a point. As long the story ends on a high note, people won't really care for the plotholes." agreed Bridgette.
Brick put a comforting hand on Sammy's shoulder. "Don't worry, these are short films made by rookie actors and directors. Don and the rest of the judges won't be too harsh on the grading."
Sammy began to blush. "Y-yeah, you're right..."
Brick picked up on Sammy's flushed face. "Sammy? Are you okay? You're looking awfully red..."
"Uh Brick, I think Sammy has a-"
Before Tyler could finish his statement, clapping noises were heard in the distance.
"Good show, you guys! It could've used more zombies though..." a voice said while clapping.
"Zombies? But this is a fairytale, how does that even work..." Bridgette said, scratching her head in confusion.
"Everything can be made better with zombies, non-believer!" the voice said, taunting Bridgette.
"Non-believer? Dude, just show yourself already." said an exasperated Bridgette.
"You assume I'm hidden but I couldn't be any more visible!" the voice continued to taunt.
Tyler began to search the area. "If he's not hiding then it should be pretty easy to- OOF!" but not tripping over a suspiciously shaped rock.
The rock grunted before quickly silencing itself.
The sound of the rock broke Sammy out of her trance and she immediately over to it. "That rock sounds awfully familiar."
Everyone on her team just stared at her with a confused face.
"You'll see what I mean soon enough."
She knelt down and whispered to the rock. "The zombie apocalypse isn't a real thing."
This caused the rock to shoot up and reveal itself as Shawn. "Sammy! If the apocalypse wasn't real, why does the government go to such lengths to deny its existence? Hm, ever thought of that?"
"Did you ever think about how I just blew your cover?" Sammy declared, with a confident grin on her face.
Shawn takes a minute to fully realize the situation he's in. "Huh, you did catch me off guard. Good job Sammy." he gives the nice twin a congratulatory thumbs up.
"Thanks Shawn but..." Sammy kept looking around hoping a certain someone was here all well.
"Jasmine couldn't make it. She couldn't find anyone to run her shop while today so she turned down the guest appearance and passed it onto me."
"Oh okay...tell her I said hi, okay?"
Shawn nodded at Sammy and gave her a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, she'll definitely be looking forward to hearing from her best friend."
Sammy gave Shawn an earnest smile, followed up by a hug. "Thanks Shawn, you're the best."
Confessional: Sammy
"I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little disappointed at Jasmine not being here but I got the next best thing, Shawn! It wasn't shown during Pahkitew Island for some reason, but me and Shawn get along pretty well."
Team Brains - Editing Tent
Noah and Cody were hard at work editing the film.
"So why'd you choose to make our movie an RPG parody? Neither of those things seem to be up your alley." Cody asked Noah.
Noah calmly answered his friend "Easy, Dawn told me to believe in you all. So I heard what the team had to say and decided the best way to combine all of the ideas would be through an RPG parody. I hear you, Leonard and Ezekiel talk about them all the time so I gathered what little I knew and wrote a script on it."
"That's amazing Noah! Is there anything you can't do?"
"Fix your relationship with Gwen." a voice said.
"Woah, I didn't know you could do impressions." Cody said in awe.
"That wasn't me, look behind you." Noah said, jabbing his thumb at Gwen, who was propped outside of the tent.
Gwen just waved at Noah.
"I'll leave you two lovebirds to talk, let me know when you're done." Noah said, leaving the tent.
Gwen quickly approached Cody. "Listen up short stuff, while we're here let's lay some ground rules."
Cody looked very uninterested. "Uh huh, okay."
The goth girl lifted a single finger "One: No hitting on me."
"Cool."
She lifted two fingers. "Two. No crude innuendo about me."
"Okay."
She lifted three fingers. "Three-"
Cody appeared very, very, turned off by what was going on and decided to shut it down. "If you're just going to lecture me about how to and not to treat you I'm gonna have to ask you to leave."
Gwen appeared confused. "So...you're not gonna hit on me?"
"Nope. It's been over two years since we last saw each other and you assumed the first thing you assumed I was going to do was hit on you?" h
He began to stand up. "You seriously think so little of me even after all this time?" He scoffs at Gwen. "It's painfully obvious one of us needs to grow up." Cody sighs. "I'm not the same person I was back then so stop treating me like I am. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got a team project to edit." Cody turned his seat around and went right back to editing.
Confessional: Cody
"Did Gwen seriously think I was still into her? What am I, a cartoon character?" he shakes his head. "No one stays the same forever, besides I'd be a major tool to assume she'd even be remotely interested in me."
Confessional: Gwen
"I gotta give Cody some props, he's definitely matured since World Tour but with that being said...he's totally right. Gwen nervously looks away from the camera. "I should looking at people for who they are now, not when I last saw them, that goes for Trent as well..."
Gwen exited the tent to see a curious Noah.
"How'd it go?" the egghead asked her.
"Weren't you literally outside of the tent?"
"Yeah, I was."
"So how come you're asking me?"
"I was too into this novel I was reading." He shows Gwen his copy of Twenty Years After
"That's great...anyways, you won the bet so here's your 50 bucks." she hands Noah the money.
Noah dismissively shakes his head. "Gwen, Gwen, Gwen. When will you ever learn to stop betting against Cody? He's got the luck of a thousand four-leaf clovers." He says this while he collects the money.
"Definitely today." she looks at Cody, who's currently editing the video. "I guess I was so caught up in my own little world that I didn't notice the changes going on outside it."
Noah playfully smirks at Gwen. "Whatever, have your little introspective moment. Just do it away from here before I start catching feelings for you."
Gwen was laughing so hard she caught herself snorting. "Shut up! I don't know what I'd do if you were the one crushing on me instead of Cody."
"And I'd rather not think about it, now don't you have a certain someone to see?" Noah playfully retorted.
Gwen laughs and lightly slugs Noah in the shoulder. "You're right, I need to go pay him a visit. See you after the challenge, Noah."
"Yeah, see you then."
The friends wave at each other before going their seperate ways.
Team Beauty - School Set
Team Beauty just finished filming and were about to send someone over to edit the footage.
"Nice work, you guys! This film turned out better than I could've hoped for." praised Topher.
"It was kinda hard at first but then when you told me to imagine myself as my character everything just magically got easier." Katie said, smiling at Topher.
"Yeah dude, you've got a knack for this type of stuff. You ever considered becoming a director?" suggested Trent.
Topher shook his head. "Not really, it was just a hobby I picked up after coming home from Pahkitew Island."
"You're pretty good for someone who does it for a hobby." Trent gave Topher a thumbs up.
"Thanks man. It's a good thing my talents aren't going to waste this season."
Confessional: Topher
"I guess I found my true calling after all. After this show, I'm totally gonna become a director!"
Team Beauty (and Sam) were having a post-film discussion.
"So now that we're done, who's gonna edit our footage-"
Topher was interrupted by an all too eager Dakota. "Can I do it? Sam's been teaching me a lot about about computers and editing!"
Sam proudly nodded. "It's true, she's pretty talented."
Dakota blushed. "Aww Sammy-poo, you don't have to lie to make me feel better."
Sam stared into Dakota's eyes. "Dakota I would never lie to you, you're just that talented."
Dakota hugged Sam, followed by a plethora of kisses on his face. Sam retaliated by gently caressing Dakota's thighs and kissing her neck.
This earned a myriad of reactions among the rest of the team. Topher was shielding his eyes, Trent just gave the couple a supportive thumbs up, Katie was cooing because she found Samkota to be an adorable couple and Lindsay... was just braiding her hair.
Topher was growing more and more uncomfortable and decided to interrupt the lustful couple with his megaphone. "Earth to Romeo and Juliet! Go be all lovey-dovey in the editing tent, where there are less people to bother!"
Sam nods. "He does have a good point, let's go the editing tent."
Dakota scoffed. "Topher only said that because we're reminding him of how painfully single he is."
As Sam and Dakota walk away to the editing tent the camera shifts over to Don. "And just like that, Day One of this Two-Day challenge is over, for you viewers at least. Tune in next week to see which team rises to stardom and which teams flops trying. All this and more on the next piping-hot episode of: TOTAL! DRAMA! REBORN!

Author's Note: I'm so sorry for the extra long hiatus I ended up taking, to be honest I didn't see it coming at all but with that being said I'll try harder to communicate with all of you better should another situation like this come up.
Like I mentioned before, there will be more and more guest appearances but these ones will be pretty impactful to a select few characters, some which have already been shown and others which have yet to be revealed.
As always, thank you all for the support you give me, I know I'm not the best writer ever but I'm constantly striving for improvement and the engagement you all give me only helps to propel my drive even further
Bidding You All Adieu,
