Again I have zero excuses! Please enjoy and can forgive me. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.I only own my OC.

2 months later

Elena was thankful that for the last couple months being relatively quiet.

As well as her life which has basically stayed the same.

Once arriving back, she awoke that morning to a very naked Reno, and a missing Cloud. From what the crew told her he left immediately after docking.

With her emotions at an all time high, from sleeping with Reno, and Cloud completely ignoring her, Elena just wanted to go home.

And that's exactly what she did.

But now two months later, Elena still had a job, a best friend, but sadly Cloud has not made his appearance. And she knew it was her fault, Tifa and the kids have been so worried, and she was too much of a coward to say anything.

"Turn off that damn alarm!"

Elena groaned as she stretched her sore muscles, reaching over and slamming her hand on the noisy machine.

"I need to get ready for work." She grumbled scooting closer into the muscular back. Her guest just growled and pulled the blanket higher. "Reno! That means you need to get up."

Also for the last two months she has been sleeping with Reno.

Like.

A lot.

"Mhm." He mumbled giving a final pull taking the remainder of the sheets, leaving Elena naked to the brisk fall air.

Jumping out of bed Elena immediately had to fall back into the soft cushions. Lately she has been getting easily dizzy, and sometimes she'd even get sick.

"Happened again?" Reno mumbled through the pillow rubbing her back soothingly.

"Yeah. Not so bad. I'll pick up some medicine before work." Elena yawned as she stood back up, much more slowly, walking over to the shower. Peeking back over her shoulder to see the red head fast asleep stretched across the bed on his stomach.

Its been a routine these last weeks. She goes to work. He picks her up. They either go straight back to her apartment, or sometimes visit Steph for a bar crawl. But regardless it always ended with them naked, tangled around each other.

"Tifa won't be at the bar tonight. You can come by whenever!" Elena called over the running water rinsing the floral suds out of her hair.

"I might be a little late Cloud says he found something."

She could barley hear him, but Elena froze shutting off the water.

Cloud is back in town.

And Reno knows where he is.

"Cloud-"

"Probably be gone immediately after our meeting. He's been even more of an ass lately." Reno turned over in bed admiring Elenas naked body.

Nodding she grabbed a towel drying off, thinking about if he has went to see Tifa, or if he possibly might come and see her at the bar tonight.

"Will you tell him-"

"I'll try."

Elena knew Cloud was a touchy subject with him, but he had nothing to worry about. She was only worried about her friend, and hopefully would finally get to have a conversation with him, to try and explain everything.

"How can I help you dear?" The store lady chirped from behind the register laying down her overly romantic novel.

Elena decided that she'd leave for work early so she'd have plenty of time to stop by the shop get a couple different medications, before heading to work.

Her and Reno didn't say much more after he confessed that he would be meeting with Cloud tonight. She even went against her better judgments and texted the blonde asking if she could see him.

Elena wasn't planning on a response.

"Uh. I've just been a little nauseous, and dizzy these last couple days. Just looking for some kind of relief."

Although her symptoms are mostly right when she wakes up, she has had a couple moments at work that she had thrown up, behind the bar. She just didn't want to worry about doing that again.

"Of course. Everything I have is on the first isle. Right next to the pain relief, ointment, feminine products, and pregnancy tests." The kind old lady smiled pointing towards the back of the store, before turning back to her book.

Elena felt like a bucket of cold water was thrown over her. She didn't even think about the possibility of her feeling ill might be something else.

That something else maybe being a baby.

Quickly rushing down the isles she stood staring blankly at the multiple brands of tests.

It was probably nothing.

She was just sick, maybe a little stressed.

But without a second thought she grabbed a three pack, and some nausea meds.

"Will this be all?" The kind old lady asked as she put away her items into a dark black bag.

"Mhm." Elena could only mumble she was petrified at the moment. Thinking back to all the times her and Reno were together. Sure they were safe... Most of the time.

"Congratulations dear."

Elena snapped out of her trance and stared wide eyed at the lady. Not knowing how to respond she quickly grabbed her items, threw some gil down and fled.

This can't be happening. She can't be pregnant. That's insane.

Elenas inner demons were laughing at her as she continued to try and rationalize the situation. But her mind kept screaming the obvious.

Sex leads to babies.

And she has been doing a lot of that as of late.

Its that simple.

She was going to throw up.

Rushing down the ally she finally made it to Seventh Heaven pushing open the door and immediately rushing to the toilet and emptying what little bit of food she had that afternoon.

Maybe she should text Reno.

But then he will miss his meeting with Cloud. And she didn't want him missing that. She needed him to talk to him for her.

Groaning she flushed the toilet, walking over to the sink splashing cold water on her face.

It would be best to keep this from Reno, she still had a chance that it could be nothing.

So with that decided, she would work her shift, and take the tests after closing. She was thankful that Tifa wouldn't be in today, and that she wouldn't have to hide anything from her.

Elena was getting tired of keeping secrets from the ones she cared about.

"Thank you!" Elena waved goodbye to her last customers as she flicked a switch behind the bar shutting off the open sign and stacking the last of the glasses.

Work actually kept her busy and her mind off of the inevitable.

But it was time.

She needed to take these tests.

Finishing up a couple last minute things she grabbed her shopping bag from behind the counter fishing out the box of tests.

"Guess there is never a right time to take these." It was a quick, easy test. She will have her results almost immediately. And maybe this will all be put behind her, she will definitely be using protection for the unforeseeable future.

After reading over the instructions multiple times, trying to avoid the whole thing all together. Elena finally stepped into a stall and following the directions to the letter.

Finishing up she placed all three tests level on the sink setting her timer on her phone.

Elena thought this would be the longest five minutes of her life. But she was wrong.

Before she knew it her phone beeped and with slow cautious steps she peered over the sink looking directly at the Iittle windows on the sticks that had showed without any doubt three blue plus signs.

Groaning she dropped her head onto the counter.

How could she let this happen.

How could Reno let this happen!

What was she going to do? She could barely take care of herself. How could she care for a tiny human.

She didn't know how long she stayed in the bathroom staring at those evil little sticks. But the sound of the bar door opening snapped her out of her negative thoughts. Elena felt her stomach tighten, the nausea coming back, Reno was here to pick her up, and she was going to have to tell him.

Quickly and quietly she threw the tests away covering them with napkins before exiting the bathroom freezing immediately when she saw that the person who entered was definitely not Reno.

"How-" Elena mumbled stepping back cursing herself that she left her phone on the sink.

"I told you. We would meet again. Now. Either come with us willingly. Or we will use force." The man Elena hoped she'd never see again stepped further into the bar.

"Hell no!" She growled stepping back but to her horror she bumped right into a solid figure who quickly wrapped his arms around her keeping her in place as the apprentice rushed over and stabbed her in the neck with a needle, she felt the liquid enter her, and immediately dull her senses as everything went black.

Elena wasn't sure how long she'd been out for, or how many days it had been.

She had awoken dazed, and confused multiple times chained to a pipe at the bottom of some aircraft, but once one of the multiple henchmen saw her awake they immediately injected her with more sedative knocking her out completely.

The next time Elena came too both of her wrists were bound tightly by a long chain, she was laying on a metal grate in large room with multiple computers, screens, test tubes, and other random scientific pieces.

Groaning Elena pushed up kneeling on her bare knees that uncomfortably cut into the metal grate, she looked around the darken room happy to see that she was alone.

Swiveling around she started to fill with dread as she took in sights of some of the more violent looking equipment, hopefully that wasn't for her.

Peering down she noticed she was no longer in her work clothes, but rather a plain white tank top, and a small white pair of underwear.

Shaking from either fear, or disgust, she wasnt sure, Elena pulled on the chains, hoping maybe she could loosen where ever it was tied off too. But to her horror with each tug the chains just got tighter, resulting in her arms being held aloft above her, though her knees still laid heavily on the grate.

"Now I wouldn't do that dear."

A slimy voice pushed Elena up to her feet twisting around staring in horror at the Professor that was supposedly dead.

"Hojo." She seethed subconsciously backing away which only caused the chains to tighten and pull her painfully forward.

"With each tug this chain will keep pulling, until I chose if you deserve a break." Hojo announced as he circled the women. "You are even more beautiful then from what i remember."

"Your suppose to be dead!" Elena spat trying to cover her half naked body, happy that if she's at least standing she can shield some of herself.

"And so were you." He shrugged turning around to click on one of the many computers.

"What do you want from me!?" She begged her instincts telling her to pull away, and try to escape, but that will only cause her more problems.

"We will get to that. But first we need to sanitize, and do a couple routine labs."

Before Elena could argue, and ask what the hell that even meant an unbelievable amount of water fell from above her the weight of it dropping her to her knees. Screaming from the cold, and pain from her knees, she tried to fight, to pull away, but it only resulted into the chain tightening and now her body dangled a couple inches from the ground.

"Perfect. Alexer! Bring the IV, needles, and test kits." Hojo called over the beeping of the sanitizer machine.

Elena gasped for air as the water finally subsided leaving her cold, and drenched, the white of her outfit now officially see through.

"Sir."

Elena snapped her head to the left, finally putting a name to the face she had been wondering about for weeks now.

"Melissa, Richard, Jackie. Get the machine ready." Alexer ordered as he wheeled a small table closer to her.

"Get away!" Elena kicked out, but sadly didn't connect with anything, she barely had enough energy to lift one leg. The sedative was probaly still coursing through her.

"If you stay still you'll feel no pain." Alexer assured whispering silently as he quickly stuck her and placed an IV in her.

Hissing at the quick sting she glared at the group of scientists. These were the people watching her, these people wanted to hurt her.

Elena continued to stay silent as the group moved around her taking multiple vials of blood, checking her vitals, and even going as far as taking photos.

After what felt like an eternity a small feminine voice broke through the other conversations.

"Professor, I think you might want to come see this."

Elena peeked to her right watching as Hojo clicked through an array of numbers, she could feel her arms going numb, hopefully if she behaved hed let her fall back onto the floor..

"Well well, Ms. Shinra, I can see you've been busy." Hojo turned around quickly smiling broadly. "Melissa get the ultrasound."

Elena froze horrified with what he just said, she had completely forgot. She wanted to cry, hopeful that none of what they had been giving her would effect the baby.

She felt shameful not thinking of the baby until now.

"So who is it? The Merc or Turk." Alexer laughed stepping forward and lifting her shirt just above her breasts.

"Either would make exceptional candidates." Hojo verified as he pulled the wheeled ultrasound machine closer towards Elena.

Elena attempted to pull away as Hojo touched her lower abdomen with the wand. She wouldn't let this man get the satisfaction of getting evidence of her child.

"Hold her still."

Elena wasn't sure who held her hips tightly, but it worked and Hojo was able to get pictures and video of a heartbeat, and a small image of the little bean.

Tears fell down her face as she listened closely to the healthy beat, but refused to look at the screen. This was suppose to be shared with someone else, not this slimy disgusting man.

"The fetus is healthy. Alexer get the transfusion needle, we will start the process immediately."

"Wait what!" Elena shouted pure adrenaline coursing through her as she pushed and pulled away from the intruders. Shed be damned if she let anything alien be injected in her.

"She is a little over seven weeks. We still have time for the Genova cells to plant itself naturally." Hojo continued to talk so all his apprentices would understand.

"Cells? Genova?! Wait. No! Are you insane!" Elena continued to fight but the chains continued to tighten and get higher.

"Jackie stop the chains for now. I need to place this carefully, directly into the placenta." Hojo ordered as he took a long skinny needle from Alexer and started to sanitize it. "Now. Elena dear. You will need to be very still. If I miss by even an inch this will impale the fetus."

Elena chocked on her sobs as she reluctantly nodded and stayed motionless as he painfully drove the long needle into her lower abdomen. She could feel every inch he went in, as he pushed through muscle, the burning was almost unbearable. But it was all over before Elena could pass out, Alexer painfully jammed the ultrasound wand around the injection making sure it was positioned correctly.

"Success." Alexer announced as he pulled the wand away wrapping it around the machine and handing it to another man. "Now we will just hook this up-" he attached the thin tubes to the needle, before dragging it to a huge flask of what she guess Genova. He pushed a few buttons and to her horror she watched as the serum slowly traveled through the skinny tube into her abdomen.

Shaking Elena wanted to fight, but she couldn't, for fear that the chains might pull or she would shift the needle.

"Please. Don't do this. Why me?!" She sobbed subconsciously rubbing her bindings together.

"Now dear. You were once the Princess of Shinra. Not even I was able to look at you without special permission from your father." He stepped near her dragging a gloved finger down her face. "Touching you would have meant death. Just sit here while-"
