Author's Note:
So...yeah.
I was planning to do a lot more with this and my other fanfics over winter break but...long story short, I wasn't really that motivated. When I finally finished off this chapter as well, I had used up all my mobile hotpot data for the billing period previously to set up my new computer. So I decided to wait to post this until today, when I got back to college and reliable internet.
Because of this, I've decided to waive the clause in the contract for you people that submitted characters that says you must review after every new chapter as a bit of an apology for making you wait this long. You're welcome.
Once again, I personally don't think this is my best work, but you all seem to like these types of chapters. I guess I should quote Roald Dahl on this one "A writer who thinks his work is marvelous is heading for trouble." So I guess that every time I think a chapter is bad, it's actually good?
But anyway, I'm back now, so let's get down to business, answer some reviews, and get back to the pain and suffering for our cast.
Tempokeep: I honestly didn't realize that I moved Alex to Lance's team until I read your review. I mainly moved Alex off to basically give Charlie one less ally on his team, but I guess it works out in the long run too!
Fantasy Lord 77: Honestly, I agree that it doesn't really fit with Hunter's character, but I legit couldn't think of any other logical way that Otis would be eliminated and not Hunter. After all, you can't have every likable person get hurt. But don't worry, this will probably be the only time he pulls a stunt like this.
Squirtysong: Yeah, the horror challenge from Season 1 was also one of my favorite too.
AnnoyingAlarmClock: Yep, one of the surprise hits for me this season was the dynamic between Alex and Lance. I'm excited to see where it goes.
Candela Monsoon: Interesting guesses. Let's see if you get it right this time.

EPISODE THIRTEEN: PIZZA PANIC
This episode of Total Drama contains scenes of extreme stunts performed by animated teens. Do not try anything you see here at home. Seriously, you could get really messed up.
Chris stood in front of Chef's Restaurant. "Last time, on Total Drama," he narrated, "In a nod to our first ever horror challenge from season one, we decided to unleash a serial killer on our unsuspecting campers (clip of the killer chasing Sonya and entering the Hotel). Nicole and William kissed (clip of Nicole and William kissing) and Desmond accused Sara of trying to sabotage their alliance (clip of Desmond and Sara arguing). Charlie took charge of a bunch of campers (clip of Charlie leading his group to the restaurant) and barricaded themselves into Chef's Restaurant. It ended predictably (clip of the killer capturing them all). In the end, Sara led the remaining campers to defeat the killer (clip of the last of the campers fighting the killer), who turned out to be fan favorite Izzy (clip of Izzy getting unmasked). And, at elimination, with some last-minute sabotage from Hunter, the Slickers said goodbye to Otis (clip of Otis's elimination). And, in a final twist, I pulled off the classic team switch, sending Erin, Alex, and Nicole to different teams (clip of the team switch happening)."
The scene returned to Chris. "How will the new teams fare in today's cheesetastic challenge? And who will pull off the biggest act of sabotage yet? Find out right here on Total! Drama! City!"
*Intro*
(As the intro music begins to play, cameras are seen popping out of a skyscraper window, a manhole, a streetlamp, and a trashcan. The clapper claps.)
Dear Mom and Dad, I'm doing fine
(Chris is seen driving by in a sports car as the camera goes down a runway)
You guys are on my mind
(the camera pans into a building and off a diving board into an indoor swimming pool)
You asked me what I wanted to be, now I think the answer's plain to see
(In the water, Sarah is swimming gracefully as spikes are shooting past her. The camera pans to the surface, where Jared is sitting in a rubber raft with Maeve. The spikes puncture the raft and the two begin to sink. The camera quickly moves outside, where Otis and Tara are working on a generator together.)
I wanna be famous
(The camera pans over to the side, where Todd and Rita are working on an experiment. Todd pours a liquid into a beaker, which explodes and coats both him and Rita in ash, while Yves watches disapprovingly from a shadowy room in a nearby building)
I wanna live close to the sun
(Harmony is seen in a park meditating, unaware of Zander performing a magic trick right in front of her, though his trick is interrupted when a raccoon jumps out of his magic had and latches onto his face)
Well pack your bags cause I've already won
(Charlie and Lana are side by side practicing the same ninja fighting moves as William and Nicole kiss next to them)
Everything to prove nothing in my way
(Malik is running at top speed away from a flamethrower wielding Deedee. As he is running, he is caught in a trap that yanks him up to the top of a small building, where Hunter is waiting with a knife. Kaia stands disapprovingly behind him)
I'll get there one day
(The scene pans into a kitchen, where Logan is photographing a pot of mysterious food. Clover appears behind him, shocking him, but Chef then appears behind Clover and chases the two out of the kitchen)
Cause I wanna be famous
(At a table just outside the kitchen, Theresa is focused on her writing while Tim is next to her typing on a laptop. A spotlight drops on the table, causing both to jump in surprise)
Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah nah
(In an alley, Hannah battles back against Sara, who is trying to pummel here with fists covered with boxing gloves)
I wanna be. I wanna be. I wanna be famous.
(On a street, Desmond and Moira are both in go karts, trying to knock each other off the road. Alex skates in between them both while Lance tries to catch up to her on a motorcycle)
I wanna be. I wanna be. I wanna be famous.
(The scene pans to a stage, where Sonya is playing her electric guitar and singing along to the lyrics into a microphone. The scene pans back to show it was on a monitor)
*whistling the main theme*
(The scene pans down, where Nigel is seen showing a clearly impressed Erin a collection of watches under his jacket. The scene zooms out to show the rest of the cast, with Chris off to the side. Sonya plays the last guitar rift of the theme song on her electric guitar)
At the Hotel, Alex was woken up by a loud airhorn blaring in her ear. She yelled in alarm, sitting bolt upright. "Seriously?!" she complained, yelling at Deedee in annoyance.
Deedee cackled in response.
"Back off, crazy girl," Alex snapped.
"Just giving you a warm welcome to the team," Deedee said.
"Just don't let that "warm welcome" turn into setting me on fire," Alex told her coldly.
CONFESSIONAL
"I'll admit, I'm torn about how I feel about being put on the Rats," Alex admitted. "On the one hand, it got me out of that whole drama between Charlie and Hunter and got me into the Hotel for the night. On the other hand, I'm now stuck on a team with not only Deedee, but also that idiot knight Lance too." She sighed. "The things I put up with for a million bucks."
END CONFESSIONAL
As Sara left the room, she was confronted by Sara. "Let's get one thing straight," Sara began, but Alex cut her off.
"If you're about to threaten me with instant elimination if I'm not fully loyal to my new team, just skip to the end," she told her.
"Um, yeah, that about sums it up."
"Well, you don't have to worry about that," Alex said. "I do whatever it takes to get as far as possible in this competition. And if you want to try to stop me, well…go ahead and try." She walked past her then, heading for the dining room.
CONFESSIONAL
"Gotta admit," Sara commented. "I like Alex's style. I might have to make an alliance with her at some point."
END CONFESSIONAL
Over with the Pandas, William and Nicole were kissing.
"Do you mind?" Rita asked them. "Seeing you two suck face is getting quite disturbing."
"Sorry," Nicole apologized, breaking away from William. "We're just happy to be on the same team again."
"Well, don't make it so you're the next Bridgette and Geoff," Rita warned. "Or you might end up like them."
CONFESSIONAL
"Having Nicole now on our team is…interesting," Rita admitted. "But, all in all, it will serve my plans well."
END CONFESSIONAL
Meanwhile, at Chef's Restaurant, the Slickers were eating their breakfast, with many of them glaring at one another. Erin sat at the end of the table, a little confused about the tension there.
CONFESSIONAL
"I get dragged onto a new team and instead of welcoming me, everyone's just acting suspicious of each other," Erin commented. "Did I miss something here?"
END CONFESSIONAL
CONFESSIONAL
"One or more people on the team is allied with Hunter," Charlie proclaimed. "The last vote proves it. But who can any of us trust anymore?"
END CONFESSIONAL
"Want some of my oatmeal?" Nigel asked Erin, sliding over a bowl of black mush. "At least, I think it's oatmeal."
"Uh…no thanks," Erin replied.
"You don't have to act crazy near me anymore, you know," Nigel told her. "We're on the same team now. That means I don't have to use my charm to distract you to win challenges."
Erin still didn't take the bowl. Nigel sighed. "Look…I probably should apologize for tricking you all those times. Can we just start over? Please?"
Erin looked over at him, then nodded. "Okay," she said. "We can start over."
CONFESSIONAL
"He may be some sort of con man, but he's still the only guy that's ever taken an interest in me," Erin said. "If he's not going to use his charm for evil, I guess I can give him another shot."
END CONFESSIONAL
CONFESSIONAL
"This accomplishes two things," Nigel said, "One, I get to actually try to win Erin over for real now that we're on the same team. And two, it gives me a potential ally. With everyone on the team suspecting one another of secretly working for Hunter, it won't take them long to try to pin it on yours truly. Erin not being on the team before the last challenge means I can trust her, and if I can win her over, she can trust me and help keep me alive until the merge."
END CONFESSIONAL
The loudspeaker blared. "Challenge time!" Chris reported cheerfully. "Meet me outside Chef's Restaurant immediately."
When the campers met outside of the restaurant, Chris appeared, wearing a large chef's hat.
"What's with the bad hat, McLean?" Desmond asked.
"Oh, just a little teaser about today's challenge," Chris said. "Because you'll all be wearing them!" At this, Chef appeared and started jamming chef hats onto all the campers.
"Dare I ask what fresh horror awaits us today?" Alex asked.
"I'm glad you asked," Chris returned with a smirk. "Today's cooking day!"
CONFESSIONAL
"And so, we finally come to the inevitable challenge where we all regret voting off Lana," Nigel said. "Totally saw this coming."
END CONFESSIONAL
"As everyone knows, a common practice of city living is to order pizza for delivery," Chris went on. "Your challenge today is to make, bake, and deliver as many pizzas as possible via go kart to two buildings throughout the city, where they will be judged by me or Chef for points. The first team to make three perfect pizzas will win the challenge. The team who completes this challenge last will send someone for elimination.
"Only three pizzas?" Nigel asked. "That sounds easy."
"Oh, really?" Chris asked in an amused tone.
Hunter face palmed. "Nigel, you bonehead, you're not supposed to say that something's easy on Total Drama!"
"Oh, this challenge is anything but easy," Chris said. "Cooking a perfect pizza is no easy task. And to deliver your pizzas, I've arranged for a few…obstacles to hinder you."
"Such as?" Clover asked.
"Oh, road spikes, broken water hydrants, minor explosives, and a few other surprises," Chris said with a grin.
"Bring it, McLean," Desmond declared. "Me and my team are ready to crush the competition."
CONFESSIONAL
"It's time to show a sense of dominance," Desmond declared. "If I show how much of a better leader I am than Sara, then I can get more people on my side and get her out of here."
END CONFESSIONAL
"Each team will have their own station inside the restaurant to work," Chris finished. "Ready? And…go!" He blew his airhorn, and the teams all ran into the restaurant.
"Well, we'd better get to our stations," Chris said to Chef. Chef only glowered at him.
CONFESSIONAL
"Pretty boy didn't ask me for permission to use my restaurant," Chef growled. "Those kids better not wreck the place."
END CONFESSIONAL
Inside the restaurant, the kitchen had been separated into three different sections, one for each team.
"Okay, I think it's pretty simple what we do here," Desmond said. "Three people work on building the pizzas, two cook them, and two deliver them. And no, Deedee, you aren't going to be cooking."
"Aww, come on!" Deedee complained.
"Sorry, but I'm with Des on this one," Sara said. "You plus fire equals us losing the challenge. And if that happens, I guarantee you that you'll be on the chopping block."
CONFESSIONAL
"Can I set the chopping block on fire?" Deedee asked.
END CONFESSIONAL
Over with the Pandas, Moira was quickly taking charge, coming up with the same strategy as the Rats.
"We need three people to make, two to bake, and two to take," Moira commanded. "Todd, Kaia, and I will work on making the pizzas, Rita and Hannah will bake them, and Nicole and William will deliver them."
"Yes!" Nicole cheered, high fiving William.
"Hold on a minute," Todd said. "I think I should be with Rita. Why can't Hannah do the making?"
In response, Hannah tapped him on the shoulder with her cane and pointed to her eyes.
"Oh…right."
CONFESSIONAL
"Last season I got eliminated in a cooking challenge thanks to that snake Kaia," Hannah said in the confessional. "I'm going to have to keep an eye on Rita during this challenge to make sure that doesn't happen again.
END CONFESSIONAL
While the Rats and the Pandas seemed to be using the same strategy, Charlie appeared to have something different in mind for his team.
"Everyone is in charge of their own pizza," Charlie told them. "But be sure to help one another out when needed. Except for Maeve."
"What do you need me to do?" Maeve asked.
"You're our driver. When all our pizzas are done, you drive them to Chris or Chef."
CONFESSIONAL
"So, the entire team is counting on me to win?" Maeve sighed
END CONFESSIONAL
Charlie began working on his first pizza, spreading sauce onto dough before sprinkling tons of cheese on it. He then quickly moved to the oven to be cooked. As he passed by the Rats, Deedee was glumly making pizzas with Sara and Clover.
"Pay attention, Deedee!" Sara ordered. "You're spreading the sauce too thinly!"
"Yeah, yeah, keep your shirt on," Deedee told her in annoyance.
Over with the Pandas, Rita watched Hannah with interest as she stood stoically in front of the oven.
"You know, I could probably whip something up to make you see again," Rita offered.
"No," Hannah responded instantly.
"Come on, wouldn't you give anything to be able to see again?"
"No."
Rita frowned. "I'm trying to be nice to you and this is how you're reacting?"
"I'm perfectly happy with the way I am, Rita," Hannah told her simply. "And nothing could make me change that."
"Pizzas coming in!" Todd yelled as he and Moira arrived, sticking their pizzas into the oven.
Outside the kitchen, the chosen drivers were waiting in their go karts for their teams to finish making their pizzas.
"I can't believe they stuck me with you for this one," Alex grumbled to Lance.
"I am pleased that they did," Lance replied. "Together, we will bring glory to this team!"
Alex groaned. "Could you at least cool it with the knight routine?"
"Pizzas!" Desmond yelled, running out and shoving three of them into Alex's hands. "Go!"
Alex shoved the pizza boxes into Lance's lap and gunned the engine of the go kart.
"You know, perhaps I should be the one to—" Lance began.
"Save it," Alex snapped, slamming her foot on the pedal and speeding off.
As the others watched them go, Rita arrived next, also with three boxes of pizza. "Moira said to get these delivered," she told Nicole and William.
"Shouldn't we wait in case some of these are—" Nicole began.
"Just go!" Rita yelled. "The Slickers are right behind me!"
"Right." William grabbed the pizza boxes and Nicole sped off. Seconds later, Charlie ran out with five boxes of pizza.
"Here," he said, giving the boxes to Maeve. "Go!"
Maeve nodded and took off after the other two teams.
Alex and Lance were driving down the street when they saw a field of road spikes up ahead, completely covering the road.
"How are we supposed to get through that?" Lance asked.
Alex, in response, spun the wheel on the go kart to the side, sending the vehicle onto the sidewalk, barreling through fences and small trees.
"You're crazy!" Lance exclaimed, holding on to the boxes for dear life.
"This is how I roll, knight boy!" Alex yelled back, continuing to drive off the road and avoiding the road spikes.
CONFESSIONAL
"What a maiden," Lance sighed.
END CONFESSIONAL
Behind them, Nicole and William were also speeding towards the road spikes.
"What do we do?" William asked.
"I can make it through them!" Nicole responded, beginning to swerve through the rows of road spikes.
Behind them, Maeve slowed down and also went through the road spikes, though much more cautiously than Nicole and William.
CONFESSIONAL
"I'm not about to rush into this," Maeve explained. "I need to get these pizzas delivered safely. Hopefully if I can pull this off, I can continue to prove my usefulness to the team."
END CONFESSIONAL
Still in the lead, Alex and Lance were driving at top speed when fire hydrants lined on the side of the road began exploding, showering them and the road with water. Alex plowed right through.
"Shouldn't we slow down?" Lance asked.
"And risk the others passing us? No can do!" As she spoke, an explosion nearly caused their entire kart to tip over as they reached the landmines.
Meanwhile, behind them, Nicole and William were also experiencing trouble with the landmines.
"How can any sort of pizza survive this much trauma?!" William exclaimed.
"Weirder stuff has happened on Total Drama before!" Nicole replied as she swerved to avoid another pile of road spikes.
"I can see the finish!" William yelled, pointing ahead to where Chris and Chef were waiting at a table.
"Alex and Lance are going to beat us!" Nicole shouted back.
"Gun it!" William ordered. Nicole sped the car up, pulling up next to Alex and Lance's kart.
"Oh no you don't!" Alex swerved into them, knocking them off course. They skidded off the road and directly into a land mine, blowing themselves up.
"And that's how I roll!" Alex cheered as she skidded to a stop next to the table with Chris and Chef. Lance jumped out and shoved the pizzas onto the table.
"Your pizzas, sirs," he said politely. Chef opened up the three boxes and glowered.
"These pizzas are wet!" he bellowed. "You call wet pizzas perfection, you pathetic rust bucket?!"
"Hey, it's not our fault that—" Lance began, but Chef threw all three pizzas into his face, shutting him up.
Nicole and William then appeared, both looking scorched from the land mine. "Here," William said, setting down the blackened boxes of pizza. Unfortunately, all three of their pizzas had been blown apart from the explosion.
"Can't anyone deliver a pizza perfectly intact?!" Chef yelled in anger. That was when Maeve finally pulled up slowly. Without a word, she brought the pizzas up and presented them to Chef. He opened the first three boxes, looked inside, and nodded in approval.
"Weird eyed girl wins," he decided. "Three perfect pizzas with two more to spare."
"Yes!" Maeve cheered.
"How did you avoid getting caught up in any of the obstacles?" William asked.
Maeve shrugged. "You guys cleared out literally all of them. Thanks for that, by the way."
"Well, it looks like the Slickers win the challenge," Chris said. "Which means it's time for part two!"
"Part two? You can't be serious!" Alex complained.
"Well, thanks to Maeve finishing the challenge early, we gotta do something to fill up enough time for an episode," Chris explained before turning to the camera. "How will this second part play out? Stay tuned to find out."
"Okay, here's the deal," Chris said once everyone had gathered. "Since someone decided to deliver perfect pizzas on her first try, victory and the Hotel go to the Slickers."
The Slickers all cheered.
"As for the Rats and the Pandas, it's time for the totally prepared sudden death part two of the challenge," Chris went on. "The Ultimate Dough Spinning Challenge!"
"The what?" Sara asked.
"Don't worry; this is an easy one," Chris told them. "All you have to do is keep your pizza dough spinning or in the air for as long as possible. Last team standing wins, and the losers will be sending someone home."
CONFESSIONAL
"Pizza spinning is a matter of skill and science," Rita explained. "Fortunately, I happen to have both."
END CONFESSIONAL
CONFESSIONAL
"Pizza spinning? Really?" Alex complained. "Is Chris seriously losing his touch with these challenges?"
END CONFESSIONAL
CONFESSIONAL
"At least we've already won so we don't have to do this part," Charlie said. "But that doesn't mean I trust everyone on my team. Alex was the only one I could trust, and now she's on another team." He sighed. "Lana, I wish you were here right about now."
END CONFESSIONAL
Chef began giving flat pizza dough to each member of the Rats and the Pandas, while the Slickers stood off to the side to watch.
"Annnnd...go!" Chris yelled, blowing his airhorn.
The campers instantly began tossing their pizza dough into the air. Within seconds, both Todd and Lance missed their dough as it came back down, hitting the ground hard.
"And just like that, Todd and Lance are out," Chris said with a chuckle.
The remaining campers continued to toss and spin their dough in the air without any problems.
"This has got to be the lamest thing I've ever done," Alex commented.
"Yeah, what's with this boring challenge, McLean?" Sara asked. "Lost your touch or something?"
"Oh really?" Chris gave a nod to Chef, who pulled out his meatball cannon and shot Sara with it. She was knocked on her butt and her pizza dough fell on her head, drenching her.
"Hey!" she complained.
"Did you really think that it would be that easy?" he asked with a laugh. Chef fired another few rounds with his meatball launcher, taking out Logan and Kaia as well.
"You want fireworks? Here, special delivery!" Deedee balled up her dough and threw it into the barrel of the meatball blaster. The cannon backfired and exploded its contents all over Chef.
"Yes! Take that, angry cook!" Deedee crowed.
"No, not yes!" Sara exclaimed angrily. "You just eliminated yourself from the challenge!"
"Oh…whoops."
Sara face palmed.
Now it was just Alex, Clover, and Desmond left on the Rats against Hannah, Moira, Nicole, Rita, and William on the Pandas. The eliminated contestants were cheering for their respective teams to win.
Chris then brought out a squirt gun. "Ghost pepper sauce, anyone?" He fired a stream at William, hitting him in the chest and mouth. He cried out.
"It burns!" he screamed dropping his dough and running away in pain.
"Mucho caliente," Chris declared.
He next aimed at Alex, who simply opened her mouth and swallowed the sauce whole. "Is that the best you can do?" she mocked.
"Is that the best we can do, she asks," Chris responded, grabbing a radio. "Release the leach bombs."
From off to the side, catapults launched several balloons filled with leaches at the entire cast, sending everyone running for cover. One balloon exploded on Todd, who cried out as the leaches covered him, falling to the ground.
"I'm not even still in the challenge!" he complained.
Nicole was also hit with the leaches, causing her to drop her pizza dough on the ground. "Oh, come on!" she complained.
The remaining six campers—Alex, Clover, Desmond, Hannah, Moira, and Rita—continued to toss their dough in the air, although they were all wary of any more traps that Chris might deploy on them.
"Okay, time to play dirty," Clover decided, raising her watch and firing her taser at Rita, who was hit and instantly fell to the ground, out cold, with her pizza dough falling on her face.
CONFESSIONAL
"Oh, that little spy girl is going to pay for that," Rita decided. "Mark my words."
END CONFESSIONAL
Clover reloaded her taser and aimed it at Hannah. However, Hannah dodged the attack and used her cane to catch the taser wires and drag her to the ground, causing her to drop her pizza dough and taking her out of the challenge. Unfortunately, her momentary distraction gave Alex the chance to quickly pick a rock up from the ground while still tossing her dough and throwing it at Hannah's dough in midair, knocking it out of the air and also eliminating Hannah.
"Score one for the home team," Alex declared.
"Think again, lass," Moira responded, kicking a fallen meatball at her. Alex, having no time to defend herself, was hit in the head and knocked off her feet.
It was now down to Moira and Desmond. Both glared at each other while tossing their pizza dough. Neither one appeared to be backing down at all.
"Come on, Moira!" Nicole yelled. "You can do it!"
"Win this for us, Desmond!" Sara yelled. "Or you'll be the one going home!"
CONFESSIONAL
"I doubt the others will vote for Desmond if we lose," Sara admitted. "But the prospect should be enough to make him squirm."
END CONFESSIONAL
"How's it going to feel when I beat you again?" Moira mocked.
"We'll never know, because I'm about to beat you," Desmond replied.
Moira laughed. "Ha! In your dreams!"
"No…in reality." Desmond pulled a balloon out of his pocket and threw it at Moira. Moira, taken off guard, failed to avoid it, hitting her right in the chest. It exploded in a shower of red paint that caused Moira to miss her final dough toss.
"And with that, we have our winner!" Chris exclaimed. "Desmond and the Rats survive the sudden death challenge, avoiding elimination yet again."
The Rats all cheered while Desmond smirked triumphantly at a furious looking Moira. "I've been waiting to use that balloon for a long time," he told her.
"As for the Pandas, it's back to elimination for you," Chris told them.
The Pandas all groaned.
"Okay…who are we sending home?" Todd asked.
"I say it's finally time to get rid of Kaia," Hannah decided. "Any objections?"
"That would be a mistake," Kaia spoke up.
"Oh really?" Moira challenged.
"Yes…really." Kaia looked around at the others. "While I could spend my time uselessly trying to convince you that the real threat here is Rita—"
"Hey!" Rita complained.
"—but in reality, I think the best thing we can do is to take down either William or Nicole."
"Why them?" Todd asked.
"Well, for starters, they're not even here right now. Why? Because they're probably kissing in some random corner of the city right now," Kaia told them. "But also, because if we allow them to stay in past the merge, they'll team up with Charlie and Alex and continue to pick everyone off one by one until it's just them. And then they'll be impossible to defeat."
Kaia looked around at her teammates. "Think of me as you will. But when it comes down to it, you know that I'm right."
She stood up. "I've said my piece," she told them. "The rest is up to you." She turned and then left.
The group exchanged looks. "We're not trusting her…right?" Rita asked.
Moira just remained silent.
CONFESSIONAL
"I really hate to admit it," Moira admitted. "But Kaia's making a lot of sense."
END CONFESSIONAL
Night came, and with night came the elimination ceremony. The Pandas all sat down in the subway station. Chris stood in front of them, with two tickets remaining.
"I only have two tickets left," Chris told them, looking at Kaia, Nicole, and William. "The three of you accumulated the most votes. One of you is going home. And you can't come back. Ever."
He held up the first ticket. "The first ticket here goes to…Nicole."
Nicole gave William's hand a confident squeeze before she went up to claim her ticket. William grinned at Kaia. "Guess this is where you go home," he told her.
"Perhaps," Kaia told him. "We shall see."
CONFESSIONAL
"There's no way my team voted to keep Kaia on instead of me," William declared. "See you later, Kaia."
END CONFESSIONAL
"The final ticket goes to…Kaia."
"What!" William exclaimed, standing up in shock.
"No!" Nicole yelled.
Kaia smirked at William as she got her ticket. "Guess this is where you go home," she taunted.
"Why would you all vote to keep that manipulative witch on instead of me?!" William exclaimed.
The rest of the team all shared guilty looks, though Rita hid her secretly pleased expression from everyone else.
"William, the Tram Car of Shame awaits," Chris told him.
William sighed, but started walking towards the Tram Car of Shame. Nicole caught up to him and embraced him with a hug and a kiss.
"I'll win for both of us," she assured him.
William smiled. "You do that." With that, he got on the subway car and left.
"And with that, we're down to nineteen," Chris spoke to the camera. "How will Nicole handle being separated from William? Who will win the next battle between Moira and Desmond? And how much can we torture our cast next time? Find out next time on Total! Drama! City!"
BONUS CLIP
William sat dejected in the subway car. "I can't believe they wanted Kaia more than me," he complained. "I mean, seriously? Kaia? Mark my words, she's back to her old tricks, and if my team doesn't see that, they're all doomed."

So...I bet that threw everyone off. I don't think anyone really expected William to go this early, particularly after I moved his girlfriend over to his team. But this not only throws everyone out for a loop, but it also has the added benefit of showing off once again how manipulative Kaia can be. In no way is her feud against Rita supposed to redeem her. She is still the manipulative girl we all know.
So yeah, about the challenge...it went through a lot of revisions. It started as just making ten pizzas and delivering them to random points in the city, but that really wasn't working for me, particularly since the pizzas had to be judged and Chris and Chef couldn't be everywhere. So then it moved to three pizzas having to be delivered to Chef, but that didn't last as long as I thought it would. So that's why there's the sudden death challenge at the end. To keep it from being completely boring, I added Chris throwing in some hazards, including one callback from Season 1 (which you should be able to identify pretty easily).
