…The Vatican City…
We woke after our day of rest early. We got up and dressed. We held hands all the way to the car. We picked up Rochelle and Cesco and headed to the Vatican City. We split into three groups. The first group was Jeno, Roque, Belvidere, Uberto, and Nardo who went to search the Vatican museums. The second group was Bianka, Mrs. Zabini, Ymelda, Zoela, Jino, and Cyprienne who went to the Basilica of St. Peter. The rest of us went to the Sistine Chapel.
Blaise held me to him as we walked around. I knew it was because he thought I might wander off. The chapel was so wonderful that it brought tears to my eyes. Elda and Rochelle were crying too. Ortensia, Byanca, Neryssa held themselves together enough to search. Cesco was ahead of everyone and taking serious notes.
I wrapped my arm around Blaise's waist to steady myself. He chortled. I let the tears fall freely down my face as I looked around. I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw the ceiling and looked at the Last Judgement painted by Michelangelo.
Blaise led me over to Elda and Rochelle. "The criers have been reunited.", he scoffed joining the others. We threw scathing glances at him before resuming our staring.
"It's moving.", I whispered. Elda and Rochelle gasped seeing it too. I waved Neryssa and Ortensia over. They watched in amazement. I went and got Byanca so she could watch too. I didn't see Cesco and Blaise, so we watched it without them.
When it was done playing, we wrote down the notes hurriedly. Blaise and Cesco returned. I held Blaise's hand as we continued our search.
We went to eat after we were done. We perused the notes. I grinned as I read. Blaise tsked. I clutched the papers reading with rapt attention. I gasped in shock and pointed at the papers.
Everyone read the papers and sank back in their seats. The last clue had been found. We had to go to Lake Como.
"We still have time. We could go now.", Cesco muttered in a low tone. He looked around judging the attitude of the group as he spoke. "Let's go.", Ortensia jumped up eagerly. She was normally quiet and withdrawn but now she was almost bursting with the will to go on. We went to the lake. It was nightfall as we got out of the cars.
I searched to the best of my ability in the growing darkness. The hunt led us far away from the lights of the town. I heard the faint whisperings of the rest of our party and saw their flashlights flickering ahead in the foliage. I caught Elda, who was stumbling behind me, when she tripped over a tree root.
She thanked me and we trudged slower and much more carefully. "Ugh, I'm starting to wish I'd gone hiking and backpacking more often.", I panted as the hunt to us up an incline.
We spent the entire night looking around. I sat next to Blaise as we rested. Bits of early morning light blinked through the trees. I tilted my head as I reviewed all the hidden messages, poems, secrets, and songs flew around my head. I jumped up and idea rattling around my brain. I made sure we were well hidden from early morning tourists.
…The Test…
I placed a quick spell on the bracelet Blaise had given me. "Someone has an idea.", Neryssa chuckled tiredly. I tested the bracelet out on the last message. It glowed and I smiled. I put the hidden messages in chronological order.
I pulled out some parchment. The messages spelled out the final location. Roque and Nardo led the way with me. We were led up the foothills just below the Alps. The Bracelet glowed steadily brighter.
A memory whisp appeared from the bracelet. It was Blaise's great grandmother. "Grandma Lucia!", Roque gasped. She nodded. She looked exactly like the drawing of her younger self.
She tsked at her family jokingly, "You finally found the last clue. I've been watching you all this time. You've done well." She looked around. She gazed at me, "And you. You're quite smart though you don't show it. I think that you can uncover more secrets than you know." She smiled gently at me. she winked knowingly at Blaise. She sat herself down on a rock.
She waved Roque and Nardo forward. "The final bit of the hunt is inside. You two will have to in alone first.", she waved at the rocks behind her. They disappeared and formed an archway. They glanced at her and she shooed them inside.
They disappeared. She sent Jeno, Ymelda, Cianna, Zoela, Bianka, Belvidere, and Cyprienne next. It had been 15 minutes since Roque and Nardo descended. We waited another 20 minutes. She turned to us. "I think that I'll send you girls next. Pay attention. Do not let yourselves be distracted.", she smiled at us in turn. Elda went in not the slightest bit concerned. We followed her.
There were stairs that led down into a cave of sorts. There were torches every few feet casting light onto the steps. Elda was now clutched to Neryssa and Byanca. We reached the last step and a cavern with numerous passageways stretched out around us.
"Any ideas?", I asked Rochelle. She was lost in thought. She snapped her fingers. She went into a passage to our right. As we walked into it closed behind us. I shuddered. "No turning back now.", Ortensia sighed walking forward. We continued edging along the passageway for 10 minutes.
A clearing appeared before us. It was a mini garden with faeries zooming around. "You made it. The others before you have already passed our test. What lives in warm bodies of water and sings beautifully? Here is a hint if you still don't know. They are a sub species of water creature below.", the faeries sang as they flew around the room.
"Sirens.", Rochelle answered quickly. The faeries spun faster and zoomed around us with glee. They dropped a bag of gemstones into Ortensia's hand and guided us through a hall that had just appeared on the opposite side of the garden.
We thanked them and walked down the hall. Not long after we left the garden, we came across a puzzle, and not a normal puzzle of course but a giant Olympic swimming pool sized puzzle.
A sphinx and chimaera sat on opposite ends of the puzzle. Ortensia held out the bag of gemstones and the sphinx and chimaera snapped their heads towards us. "Pour the gemstones onto the board.", the sphinx rasped. "Solve the puzzle before the last sand grain falls.", the chimera ordered nodding its head to the timer next to us.
Ortensia poured out the gemstones and they flew to the puzzle growing to the size of baby elephants. They glistened in the torch light. "The colors of the gemstones match traditional Italian ingredients used in your great grandmother Lucia's recipes. Use the first recipe she wrote in the family cookbook as your guide.", the sphinx yawned watching the timer.
I recalled seeing the recipe. We made mental notes of the ingredients and began sliding the gemstones to their matches. Alas it was no easy task. The gemstones were as heavy if not heavier than baby elephants. "After this I'm going to workout more.", Elda grunted pushing a ruby colored gemstone across the puzzle. As she pushed it the room began to smell like roasted tomatoes.
As we matched the stones the room filled dizzyingly with the smells of Italy. Our stomachs grumbled. The sphinx and chimaera prowled onto the board as we pushed the last one to its match. "Divine. What was the last recipe that Lucia wrote in the book?", the sphinx asked prowling around us.
No one said anything. I cleared my throat, "Mushroom risotto." The chimaera growled. They stopped prowling. The slunk back to where they were before. "You are correct.", the chimaera growled. A square hole opened in the ground. "Kindly descend and continue the hunt. You'll find the next hint below.", the sphinx rasped.
Rochelle leaned into the hole and disappeared. I followed Rochelle. It was a slide. I slid for what felt like miles. I fell into a heap at the end of the slide. Rochelle was coughing in the corner. "What happened?", I asked getting up and dusting myself off.
"Slid right into the damned wall.", she tapped the wall behind her. I was just beginning to look around when Elda and Neryssa slid in knocking me off my feet. I groaned. "Sorry Charlotte.", Neryssa said helping me to my feet. Elda was still on the ground and we helped her out of the way just in time for Byanca and Ortensia to slide in.
"Find the miniature dragons running around in the next room. You'll be looking for a Portuguese Long-Snout, a Swedish Short-Snout, a Romanian Longhorn, a Peruvian Vipertooth, a Norwegian Ridgeback, a Hungarian Horntail, a Hebridean Black, a Common Welsh Green, a Chinese Fireball, an Ukrainian Ironbelly, and an Antipodean Opaleye. BEWARE THE HINKYPUNKS!", I read a sign on a door out loud.
Rochelle shivered. "Dragons! Dragons?", she shivered. "Miniature dragons.", Elda corrected. I placed my hand on the doorknob. I felt Rochelle grab the back of my shirt lightly as I twisted the doorknob.
We entered the next room and ducked. A fireball shot past us. I looked above us. The miniature dragons were flying overhead no bigger than a mouse.
Rochelle gasped. We were in a marsh like room with the dragons flying overhead. "Ugh. Why can't we use brooms?!", Ortensia gasped looking around. I shivered. "I'm not good on a broom.", Rochelle and I said simultaneously. The others looked at us. I shrugged. I began making my way through the marsh. I heard the others squishing after me.
"How on earth are you not good on a broom, but you've been on a flying motorbike and your dating Blaise?", Elda gasped. "I don't know. I mean I've also been on a hippogriff but that doesn't seem the same to me as when I rode on the back of Fluffy, a three headed dog.", I explained ducking another fireball.
"Ugh, this is the weirdest.", Neryssa gasped unsticking her foot. We made it to other side of the room and began looking around for clues. Ortensia and Byanca found gloves and protective gear and started trying to capture the dragons.
I ran my hands along the wall. I smiled. The Chinese Fireball whizzed by my head. It glared at me. I sang a traditional Chinese song. It fell at my feet asleep, and I stuck my tongue out at it. Neryssa had begun wandering after a Hinkypunk. I grabbed her arm dragging her back and picking up the mini dragon.
Rochelle had figured the door out. She took the mini dragon and stuck it on the door. The door melted the dragon into it. A drawing of the dragon appeared. Neryssa struggled against my hand and I thumped her head. She gasped lightly mumbling her thanks as she rubbed her head. Ortensia and Byanca brought the captured dragons one by one. The door hissed as it melted the last one onto it.
It croaked open revealing a small crawl space. With a groan we crawled through Neryssa going first. We emerged on the other side. "You made it!", Ymelda cheered. The others were in a small clearing. We joined them. "We'll receive the final hint once the others make it.", Nardo said.
Neryssa dropped tiredly to the ground followed by Rochelle. We waited a full 45 minutes before they appeared. A griffin appeared from the darkness on the other side of the clearing. Everyone stared. It shook its head beckoning us to follow and follow we did.
It led us to a room filled with various trolls. Lucia appeared. "Make your way through with the baby phoenixes and I'll find you later.", she smiled and disappeared. There was gong sound. The trolls lumbered around looking for the sound and saw us.
I looked around I allowed a baby phoenix to step on my shoulder. The others were diving around the trolls. I skirted around a pillar as a river troll lumbered towards me. It looked around for me. the baby phoenix chirped lightly in my ear.
The troll grunted and I rolled to the side as it kicked through the pillar. It swung around to me growling. A forest troll a few feet away started lumbering towards us. I dove through the river troll's legs and under the forest troll's legs. The river troll swung around so quickly it ran into the forest troll and they both fell backwards from the force of it.
I made it to the other side of the room using all the self-defense tactics I knew. The others had made it to the other side. the door opened and everyone dove through as the trolls came lumbering after us. The door closed and we heard the trolls collide into it.
Everyone was panting heavily. The baby phoenix on my shoulder kept chirping. I chirped back and the other phoenixes stopped chirping. Blaise chuckled. "Speaking to animals again?", he asked looking around the room.
"All I did was chirp a music key.", I stated from where I was leaning on a wall. "Why on earth would you think she was speaking to animals?", Uberto asked as he began to look around. Blaise explained about how the Fluffy riding during the battle.
Neryssa scoffed, "You should have seen her in the dragon room. she just sang in Chinese and the Chinese Fireball fell asleep!" I nodded and smiled. "It was a traditional song. Quite lovely and serene.", I looked around the hall we were in. The baby phoenix nipped me lightly with its beak and I sang a few notes of the song.
The Phoenixes copied me. "See! Talking to animals.", Blaise waved at me, but I didn't see it. I was reading the wall. I followed the words. "You'll have to sing Roque and Nardo.", I mumbled still reading.
The stopped what they were doing. I waved to the words on the wall. "It says you have to sing the lullaby Lucia sang to you most often. The phoenixes will help."
They strode over reading it carefully. I leaned against a wall while they thought back. The baby phoenix on my shoulder was dancing. I watched it dance happily.
The baby phoenix stopped dancing. Roque and Nardo had finished their discussion. They walked down the hall. We followed them. They stopped before a door. They began singing in a low tone. The phoenixes joined after a few verses. The door 'swayed'. I looked back at the door blinking madly.
The door shifted and melted into a pair of wood nymphs who ran into the trees behind them. Cyprienne flinched in shock. The nymphs peeked around the trees and beckoned us further.
I stepped forward and followed them. It was a forest. They grabbed my hands and led in further. We stopped in a clearing. The others were guided by more nymphs. They handed us something. It looked familiar. "Gillyweed?", Blaise asked in confusion.
Comprehension dawned on me. I went to the edge of the clearing. Sure, enough there was raging river that led off the cliff forming an 800-meter-high waterfall. I turned to the others. "Does any have a fear of heights?", I asked hoping no one did.
No one said anything. I led them through the clearing and stood at the edge of the water. I chirped at the baby phoenix and it took off into the trees with the others. I deep breath.
The adults had already stuffed the Gillyweed into their mouths and had jumped into the water. I turned and looked at Blaise, "I think your family is just as terrifying as mine is." He chuckled dryly.
We put the Gillyweed in our mouths and dived in. the water pushed us forward. I dove under the water as the Gillyweed took effect. We hurtled down to the water below. I braced for impact. When I opened my eyes Jino, Cesco, and Rochelle had just fallen into the water below the waterfall.
There were merpeople in front of us. They were leading the adults down to their village. We followed them. "You have two hours to find all of the family artifacts and make it up to Lake Como. Good luck!", they grinned and swam away to watch.
We began searching but it was very difficult. There were a lot of plants and Grindylows. A Grindylow was making its way over to hide a box. I tsked disapprovingly and it spun around. It swum towards me ready to attack but I simply moved out of the way and it the rocks behind me. I grabbed the box. Inside were jewels, art, and tapestries.
I had collected several boxes by the time the Gillyweed started to lose effect. Rochelle motioned me towards a passageway. I followed. The merpeople waved at us cheerfully. We waved back and swam as fast as we could.
We broke the surface of the lake just as the Gillyweed effects puttered out. It was nighttime. We saw the adults on the lake shore heaving boxes out of the water. We swam over.
"Oh, my lord. How many boxes did you two find? Do get out of the water dears!", Mrs. Zabini shrieked. We tried to the best of our abilities. I tugged the boxes with me.
Blaise and Cesco appeared from the trees. They helped us with the boxes. We had just heaved the last of the boxes when the other girls surfaced with 14 boxes each. The adults swam out to help. Uberto and Jino were putting the boxes into the cars while Lucia watched.
I moved to help but something caught my eye. The baby phoenixes from earlier were chirping happily near Lucia. She waved me over.
I slowly walked over so that my feet didn't get stuck. "The phoenixes are my gifts to you all for making you go through the hunt. The family thought it'd be a fun hunt when they devised it, but I still think everyone deserves a little extra.", she smiled, "Oh, and this!" She handed me a simple ring that matched the jewelry set I got from Blaise and Mrs. Zabini. She went over to the others and joked at their state of the soaking clothes.
I helped with the boxes. When we were done Lucia waved goodbye. I chirped and the phoenixes flew down. I explained everything quickly. They shook with laughter. The phoenixes joined the people who helped them from the trolls.
It was late and everyone was tired. They began to dry off and head to the cars. I yawned tiredly. Blaise looked down at my right hand where Lucia's ring lay on my finger. I gave him a look that said I would explain later. Everyone piled into the cars and went home.
We dropped off the others. Blaise pulled me from the car once we were home and led me to our room. The phoenixes followed. They chirped at Blue once they entered the room.
Blaise closed the door. I turned to him, but he shook his head. I frowned. I gathered my pajamas and went to the bathroom. I started running bath water. I peeled my clothes from my body. I dipped my body into the hot water.
I slipped into the water with a sigh of relief. I washed quickly, washed my hair, and toweled off.
I slowly got dressed and began washing my face. I heard Blaise jump into the shower. I brushed my teeth and exited the bathroom.
I poured some treats out for Blue and the phoenixes. I climbed into bed and fell asleep.
I woke up in the early afternoon hours. I sat up looking around. "You ok love.", Blaise asked. He was feeding the phoenixes. I nodded. I laid back down and Blaise tsked.
I rolled over ignoring him. I felt him slide into bed. "Come on you have explaining to do.", he mumbled picking me up. He carried me over to the couch. He motioned for me to wait and went downstairs.
The baby phoenix of mine flew over chirping happily. "I think I'll name you Aithne.", I petted the phoenix lightly. It cooed happily.
The previous night everyone had named theirs. Blaise's was Agni, Cianna's Vesta, Bianka's Cyra, Roque's Cenley, Rochelle's Brigid, Ymelda's Anala, Jeno's Haco, Ortensia's Calida, Elda's Eliane, Zoela's Idalia, Nardo's Horus, Byanca's Mehri, Neryssa's Rhys, Belvidere's Uri, Cyprienne's Kiran, Cesco's Kewhi, Uberto's Sulien, and Jino's Surya.
Blaise reentered the room carrying a tray of lasagna, bread, salad, soup, and cake. He placed it in front of me. He sat down and Aithne hopped over to him. I began to eat extremely ravenous. I hadn't eaten in a day.
When I was done, I sat back. Agni, Aithne, and Blue flew around the room playing. Blaise tapped my shoulder. I turned and flinched. His face was close to mine observing me carefully.
"Why did she give you that ring?", he asked. "She just gave it to me. Like the phoenixes. Then she went to make jokes at the others.", I answered truthfully, "Maybe you know. I saw the way she winked at you. She acted like your mum the other day."
Blaise raised an eyebrow at me. I gulped, went red, and shrank a bit realizing how close I'd gotten to him. I knew if I scooted away, he'd just pull me back.
I played with my hands waiting for him to stop staring. He turned my head a gave me a quick kiss. He smiled and leaned back.
I turned away. He turned me around. "I'm sorry. Are you mad at me?", he asked with a smile. I squirmed in his grip. He leaned in. "Love? Please answer me.", he asked staring me straight in my eyes. I stared back at him. "I'm not mad. I just…", I was cut off by Blaise kissing me gently. He wrapped his arms around me, and we spent the day chatting about the hunt.
The next day I woke up with Blaise's arms still wrapped around me. I counted his eyelashes and booped his nose. He groaned and I feigned sleep.
"Really Charlotte.", I heard him grumble tiredly. I opened my eyes and looked at him as innocently as I could muster. He sighed and closed his eyes. He pulled me onto his chest and caressed my arms lightly and I fell asleep again.
When we woke up again morning light filtering in. I groaned covering my eyes with my hands. I slid off Blaise's chest and used him to block the sunlight. He slid the blanket over us blocking the light and I sighed gratefully.
I laid on the pillow yawning. I stretched my entire body. We heard the birds squawking and groaned. Blaise sat up lifting the covers with him. I hid under the pillow. Blaise collapsed back on the bed next to me.
I sat up unable to go back to sleep. The birds were hiding on top of the dresser. Blaise probably glared at them. I slid out of bed and swayed tiredly to the bathroom to shower.
I walked into the closet in a robe. Blaise ambled past. I put on a simple skirt and halter top. I slipped my feet into some heeled slippers. I walked out of the closet and fed the birds. They were still shaking. "Was Blaise being a meanie? Did the boy in the bathroom scare you?", I asked them not bothering to keep my voice down.
I heard Blaise's angry muttering and I smiled. "Poor babies. Do you want me to yell at him for you?", I asked still not lowering my voice. The birds chirped at me. I gave them a few treats to get them off the dresser. I turned around to see Blaise leaning against the bathroom door a towel wrapped around his waist. I waved.
He motioned me over. I stood a few feet away. He tsked and I stepped closer. "I was not.", he said. I tilted my head. "They were cowering in fear on top of the dresser refusing to come down.", I placed my hands on my hips. He sighed in defeat. He got dressed quickly.
I led him over to the birds and made him apologize. Once I was satisfied with his apology we went to the kitchen.
Vesta was flying around Mrs. Zabini in the garden. I started making a dough. I made Blaise wash, cut, and chop vegetables. I prepped some pancetta and sausage. I mixed the ingredients and put it in the oven. Blaise moved to sit down but I made him make a simple fruit salad with dressing.
When the quiche was done, I sliced it. Mrs. Zabini came in the kitchen. "It smells lovely!", she wandered over. I handed her a slice. She took a bite as she sat on the counter. She got another slice before she finished the first and I laughed.
She shrugged and I handed Blaise his slice. We ate in silence. The birds were playing in the dirt in the garden. We were just starting in on the fruit salad when the doorbell rang.
Mrs. Zabini ran to get it. "You have vastly improved young pupil.", I told Blaise as I ate the fruit salad. He smiled. Mrs. Zabini returned with Cyprienne, Ymelda, Zoela and Bianka right on her heels.
They tried some quiche and fruit salad. "How did you make this?", Zoela asked getting another slice and another scoop of fruit salad. I laughed. "Blaise did most of the cutting and chopping for the quiche, but he made the fruit salad all on his own.", I stated proudly. Blaise busied himself with his food looking flustered.
Cyprienne and Ymelda gaped at him their forks halfway to their mouths. "That's it. The other kids are going to take cooking lessons from you before you leave.", Bianka snapped her fingers at me as she spoke. I smiled and gave a curtsey.
Mrs. Zabini laughed, but had already begun rifling through the recipes. We finished the food off and I cleaned up the mess. "Is everyone really that bad?", I asked Zoela who was rifling madly through a book. She paused, "It's not that they're bad per se. more so a lack of attention, focus, and drive."
I nodded. I helped them pick out various recipes. Blaise sat at the kitchen island playing with Aithne and Agni.
When they were done, they went out to the garden. I organized the recipes by difficult level and person who would be making them. Blaise looked over. "Why are there 9 stacks?", he asked. I raised an eyebrow at him. He shook his head defiantly. "You want to fight the women in your family on this?", I asked leaning on the counter. He thought it over and sighed.
I clasped my hands together and returned to my task. I made a grocery list for each. "I think I'll start from the basics and then on our final night here we'll have everyone cook the recipes their parents have picked for them.", I mumbled to myself.
Blaise watched me patiently. "Your recipes will have to have a difficulty level increase.", I muttered. He frowned and I smiled.
I pinned the lists and recipes to the fridge. I took stock of the pantry and fridge. "We need to go to the store.", I told him. He groaned but slid off his seat. He told his mum where we were going, and we got in the car.
He still looked resistant as we arrived at the market. I dragged him towards the market. We found everything easily and it didn't take too long. We unloaded the groceries and Blaise took off upstairs while I prepped a quick lunch. The women had gone to lunch, so it was just us.
I found Blaise in our room watching tv. I put the food in front of him. He mumbled a quick thanks attention still on the tv. I shook my head. I wrote a quick letter to my parents and siblings telling them everything about the hunt. To my surprise Aithne pecked lightly at my fingers chirping at the letter.
I gave her the letter and she disappeared. I joined Blaise on the couch, and he wrapped his arm around me pulling me closer.
We spent the day watching various shows and cartoons.
I started teaching the others to cook based on their parents' description of the skills they already had. It was no easy feat teaching 9 people to cook who were at varying levels, but I managed.
In just 3 days they were way beyond their original levels, so I continued teaching them but changed the difficulty level every hour.
It was our final day in Italy. Everyone would be coming over for one last meal. We woke early so we could get to the market before the best ingredients were gone.
We put everything away and they began to prepare themselves for their mission. Rochelle and Ortensia were trying to calm themselves in a corner. Elda, Neryssa, and Byanca were going over every recipe they had to make. Blaise, Cesco, Uberto, and Jino talked by the pantry looking very tired and worn out.
I had already been cooking and making mini appetizers for the adults. I took the appetizers out to them in the garden. They were making bets. I tsked at them as I set the trays down in front of them. They smiled at me and thanked me.
I went back inside to find everyone had started on their first recipe. I walked around observing them and correcting a few. Everyone moved efficiently. Elda, Uberto, and Ortensia finished their first recipe before the others and took them out to be judged. They returned looking defeated and started their second dish.
Rochelle, Jino, Cesco, and Neryssa went next followed by Blaise and Byanca. I went out to the garden when they returned. "We gave them great feedback. Why do they look so defeated?", Cyprienne asked Cianna. She shrugged. I stayed in the garden with them until the others brought out the second and third dish.
There were no negative comments. They took a small break before they had to cook their main dish and dessert. I gave them a few last-minute pointers and advice.
They began prepping and I walked around. it had grown warm in the kitchen, so I opened a few windows. I helped taste test some of their sauces since they had been tasting all day and their tongues had gone flavor numb.
The sun was beginning to set. I watched them take the final dishes out to the garden. The phoenixes were playing in the garden while Blue watched from atop a hedge. Everyone ate and talked.
"You were walking around like Professor McGonagall does. Did you realize that?", Blaise asked me in a whisper. "Of course, but I was going for a mix of uncle Snape, Professor McGonagall, and Mad-Eye Moody.", I answered smiling. The desserts were served as the moon climbed higher into the sky.
Everyone got back great results on their dishes. The adults went on a walk and the others went home too tired to wait. We cleaned up and went up to bed.
I curled against Blaise as we settled into bed. I buried my face in his neck and fell asleep. I woke early in the morning. I sat up and stretched.
Blaise groaned and pulled me back down. I shook my head as I tried to unwrap his arms. He groaned again and pulled me closer to him. I stopped squirming around. I started poking him.
A low growl escaped his lips. I continued poking him ignoring the growls escaping his mouth. I felt him shift and he pinned my arms above my head.
I looked up at him. A shiver rolled over my body. He had stopped growling. I started humming looking around. He kissed my neck and I stopped. "You should be sleeping.", he growled lowly against my neck. I shrugged. He released my arms.
I kissed him lightly and he smiled. I wrapped my arms around his neck. The kiss became steadily more passionate. I gasped against his neck as he kissed my neck, and his hands worked their way under my tank.
I squirmed as he worked my tank over my head. He placed his hands on my hips holding me down. I attached my lips to his neck. He groaned and I smiled. I ran my hands over his chest happy he hadn't put a shirt on.
I stopped my roaming as I felt his hand dip into my underwear. I gasped as he slid his thumb across my clit. I abandoned all things as I let him pleasure me. He worked my shorts and underwear off.
I buried my face in the pillow as I felt his tongue run across my clit. He lifted my leg over his shoulder and started fingering me. I moaned as I held his head in place. I shuddered as my first orgasm washed over me. Stars danced across my vision and I felt him pick me up.
He closed the bathroom door. I moaned as placed me on the counter and his lips attached themselves to my neck. My hands traveled across his torso.
I let my hand dip down inside his boxers. I wrapped my hand around his cock teasing it lightly as Blaise groaned halting his attack of my neck. I stroked it lightly. Blaise removed my hand.
I looked into his eyes. He leaned down kissing me gently. I heard him roll the condom on. I pressed myself against him and he walked me over to the counter.
I jumped onto the counter and he slid inside me. He ran his thumb across my nipples as he slid in and out of me slowly. I wrapped my legs around his torso pulling him closer. He groaned into the kiss. I leaned back as he sped up. Orgasm after orgasm rolled over my body causing me to shake.
He watched me as I orgasmed a smirk on his face. He slid out of me and whined. I pushed him to the floor sliding myself onto his cock. My head fell back in pleasure as I rode him. He played with my breasts.
He sat up capturing me in a kiss just as I had another orgasm. I shudder against him. He flipped us over and rolled his hips into mine. My back arched as the orgasms continued hitting me back to back with no break.
I scratched his back lightly as he slammed into me. He growled in my ear. he kissed me and I bit his lip. His grip on my hips got harder. I moaned and he lifted my hips higher so he could slide further in.
I was beginning to lose it. I was a shuddering mess on the floor as he ravaged my body. I looked into his eyes. "Yes love?", he smirked.
I couldn't speak I merely panted and gasped. He nodded. He slid out me ignoring my protesting glare and flipped me over. He slid into me once more. He slid a hand up and down my back as his other hand held my hips in place while he thrust into me. I hummed in pleasure as his hand went to my clit.
I fell forward as I orgasmed again catching me off guard. He flipped me back over sliding in. He placed my legs around his waist. He picked me up. He carried me over to the shower. He cut the shower on. He pressed me against the shower wall. He captured my mouth in a kiss that was gentle and loving as his hands undid the bun my hair was in.
He stared into my eyes. "I truly love you my precious little Charlotte. You belong to me and me alone forever.", he whispered. I stared at him in shock and amazement. He lifted me up further, so I was at eye level with him. I placed my forehead against his.
We kissed and I slid myself back onto his cock. He groaned. He sat us down on the shower floor and watched me with rapt attention as I rode him. He played with my breasts and clit. I was closing in on another orgasm when he lifted me up and placed me on the bathroom floor.
He slid in and out of me harder than before. We climaxed at the same time. "I love you Blaise Zabini.", I whispered in his ear as he shuddered.
We showered and dressed. We packed everything away and fed the birds. We gave them instructions to go home to London. We took our bags down to the car. We sat in the car waiting for Mrs. Zabini.
We to breakfast with the rest of the family. We chatted happily until the end of the meal. Elda and Zoela burst into tears not wanting me to leave. "Aww. I'll be back. Or you can visit me. Or we can vacation together.", I put my arms around Rochelle in a comforting hug.
"Yeah. We can even meet her sister Isabella.", Elda added handing Rochelle a tissue. I scoffed. "Izzy might be in Romania chasing dragons.", Blaise chuckled. Elda gave him a quizzical look before looking to me for backup, but I was laughing with Blaise.
Ymelda, Cyprienne, and Cianna were talking off to the side casting knowing looks at me and Blaise. Once Rochelle and Zoela had calmed down I turned to hug the others promising to visit often.
Mrs. Zabini dropped us off at the airport in the nick of time. We just barely made the flight. We slept the whole flight.
After we landed, we found our bags and we headed for the exit. Blaise laughed heartily as Ava and Izzy tackled me in a hug. I glared at him playfully as he went to talk to Harry and Lucas.
