Kent, Mackey, Buffy, and Henry are arriving at the school campus.
"We really need to figure out what to do about Lance," Henry says.
"Like what?" Mackey asks.
"I don't know, but he did steal a Dino Totem," Henry says, as he opens a door, allowing his friends to enter the school building.
"Speaking of which, does anyone know how Jackie's doing?" Kent asks, as he and his friends walk down the school hallway.
"She still blames herself for trusting Lance and losing the Dino Totem to him," Buffy explains.
Kent sighs, "But the whole mess with Lance wasn't her fault."
The four unmorphed Rangers turn the corner to find Lance standing there, "Did someone say my name?"
The unmorphed Rangers tense up upon seeing him.
Lance grins, "Oh, by the way, are there any openings in the Dinosaur Club?"
"Jackie's Mission"
The four unmorphed Rangers face off with Lance.
"What are you doing here?" Kent asks.
"For the same reason you all here, for the importance of a proper education," Lance claims.
"Get serious, what are you after, Menasaur?" Henry asks.
"I don't want any trouble," Lance says, as he approaches the unmorphed Rangers. "And watch it with the name calling. Expose me, and I might just expose all you Mighty Morphin' types."
Lance turns away from them and starts walking ahead, while waving a hand, "Oh, and say hi to Jackie for me."
Outside the school, Jackie seats at the bottom of the steps next to the stands, overlooking the track field.
Kent walks around the stands and finds his friend, "Hey, Jackie, how are you doing?"
"I'm using my free period to… think," Jackie responds, before sighing. "What are you doing here?"
"I also have a free period," Kent says, as he sits down next to his friend. "And I'm using it to talk to my friend, who is down in the dumps."
"Can you blame me?" Jackie starts. "I trusted Lance so much, I might've as well gift wrapped the Dino Totem for him."
"He tricked you, like he tricked all of us," Kent says. "It was a team decision to give him the Dino Totem."
"But it was my idea… it was my mistake…"
"Hey, I made a lot of mistakes," Kent starts. "I let my own jealousy cause me to lose focus. I was so set on protecting the Dimetro Zord from the Negadons that I abandoned you guys. So I'm no stranger to making mistakes."
"They still all work for the best," Jackie continues to look down.
"That's because when I made a mistake, I did my best to make up for them," Kent responds.
"Make up for them…" Jackie says. "Right…"
Mr. Dragdan exits his office, closing the door behind him.
Lance walks up to him, "Mr. Dragdan, how are you doing on this fine day?"
"Lance…" Mr. Dragdan says, looking side to side. "What do you want?"
"I just want to make it completely clear that I in no way want any trouble," Lance tells him.
"Okay, well… I have some work to do," Mr. Dragdan says.
"Yes, sir, good day," Lance starts to back up and turns around, before spinning back around. "Oh, by the way, Mr. Dragdan, do you know of any secret bases?"
"E-Excuse me?" Mr. Dragdan asks.
"I'm just thinking, it would be so terrible, if such a secret base could, I don't know, be discovered by a dastardly supervillain," Lance starts to back up again. "Food for thought."
Lance turns back and walks away, as Mr. Dragdan watches him.
Jackie turns the corner in the hallway, before seeing Lance leaving the building through a door. Jackie breathes in, before starting to hurry down the hallway. She reaches the door and is about to push it open.
"Hey, Jackie."
She turns to see Brittney approaching her, "Oh, hey there."
"Jackie, I was wondering how things were going between you and Lance," Brittney says. "You two usually talk a lot between classes."
"We're fine, Brittney, just been very busy," Jackie claims, before she pushes open the door. "I have to go. Later."
"Yeah, sure, later," Brittney says, before she looks through the closing door, as Jackie is seemingly following Lance, as he walks past a tree outside the parking lot.
Shortly later, Jackie hides behind a pair of trees in the woods, as she sees Lance approaches a large rock formation. Jackie ducks down, while Lance looks over his shoulder, before he places a hand on the rock formation and a large section of the wall turns dark purple, then dissolves.
Lance enters through the opening, and after a few seconds, Jackie starts to hurry through the opening, take a quick look in before quietly entering.
Inside the Darkness Caverns, Jackie sneaks through a corridor, and starts to look around a corner, when she hears someone coming. Jackie quickly ducks through a nearby doorway, and hides against a wall, as coming pass is Shroomie and Hydroneigh, a large monster, with horse-like head for a torso instead of a hand, with fins sticking out from its back and top of torso.
"Hey, Wizar! I created a new monster," Shroomie calls out. "Created from some swimmer who's angry at slowing down due to an ankle injury."
Shroomie continues walking past the doorway, when Hydroneigh stops and starts to look through it, while Jackie is tensing up. Hydroneigh is inches away from the doorway.
"Hydroneigh, don't fall behind, hurry up!" Shroomie calls out.
"Okay, okay," Hydroneigh turns away from the doorway and walks in the same direction as Shroomie. "Keep your mushroom cap on."
After a couple seconds, Jackie slowly looks around the doorway and sees they are gone. Jackie then sneaks out of the doorway and around a corner.
Jackie continues down another corridor.
"Where is it?!" Fore's heard yelling.
Jackie reaches another corner, and looks around to see Forte exits from one doorway and enters another, "It was untouch for millions of years, where could it be?!"
Jackie continues past the doorway and down a different corridor, before turning a corner and slowly approaches a large amber wall. She comes closer to it and slowly places a hand on it, and whispers, "It feels like… pure evil…"
Back at school, Kent, Buffy, Henry, and Mackey are walking down a hallway.
"After what Mr. Dragdan said, I think it's safe to say that Lance's gonna try and find the Round Base," Henry says.
"We're actually quite lucky he hadn't found it already," Mackey says.
"Still, now we have to be extra careful at school," Buffy adds, as the four friends turn the corner.
"Careful about what?" Brittney asks, upon the four's appearance.
"Oh, Brittney, we were just talking about being careful with running track during P.E.," Buffy says. "We don't want to trip or something."
"Right…" Brittney responds.
"It's a miracle we hadn't revealed ourselves before now," Henry whispers to Kent.
"Hey, guys, have you met Arno yet?" Brittney turns, as Arno approaches.
"I don't believe so, glad to meet you," Henry offers a handshake.
"Yeah, you too," Arno accepts the handshake.
"Arno's new here, we met at the Aquarium," Brittney adds.
"Oh right, the guy you met while working on your school assignment," Buffy says, with a smile. "Getting along, you two?"
"I guess," Arno shrugs his shoulders, before starting to walk past.
"Nice to meet you," Kent says, as Arno passes.
"Hey, is Jackie okay?" Brittney asks. "She seems out of it earlier."
"She has a lot on her mind right now," Kent responds.
"Well, whatever it is, I hope she can work things out with Lance," Brittney says.
"What do you mean?" Mackey asks, as Brittney starts to walk past them.
"It's just I saw her follow Lance after school," Brittney explains, before she turns to leave.
"Why would Jackie follow Lance?" Henry asks.
"Earlier I told her when I made mistakes, I worked to make up for them…" Kent says.
"Wait, you don't think...?" Buffy asks.
"We need to go," Kent says, before he and his friends turn and hurry down the hall, pasting Brittney and Arno.
"Where's the fire?" Brittney asks.
"Something came up," Buffy responds, without stopping.
Brittney looks to Arno, who is watching them, "They do that a lot."
"Right… I have to go," Arno says, before hurrying down the hallway.
"And there's another one," Brittney says, watching him.
Jackie continues to watch the amber wall, starting to back up, when she hears the sounds of someone coming. She quickly looks down the corridor she came from, sees a doorway in the wall and hides in it. Jackie looks around the doorway and sees Lance approaches toward the amber wall.
"My Queen, I have captured you a Dino Totem," Lance starts. "And I will continue my worth as your best warrior and capture the energy needed for your revival."
He looks down the corridor, with Jackie tensing up in her hiding spot, "And more Dino Totems will come with it."
Lance turns and unknowing walks pass Jackie.
After his footsteps fade away, Jackie peeks around the doorway and hurries past the amber wall, glancing at as she goes.
Jackie turns another corner, before seeing the amber enclosed Dino Totem on the cave wall's shelf. She rushes to it and pulls down the amber enclosed Dino Totem.
As Jackie turns, couple Knightrons turn the corner and see her, "Oh, hey, isn't this the public library?"
One of the Knightrons swing its spear, with Jackie dodging it, catches the spear, and pulls it and the Knightron against the wall. She sidekicks the second Knightron, before pulling the first Knightron's spear, swings it, flipping the Knightron onto its back. Jackie then spins around and tosses the spear at the second Knightron, knocking it on the ground.
Jackie then turns and walks down the corridor, after a couple corners, she sees Forte approaching.
"What? An intruder!" Forte yells.
Jackie places a Dino Totem in her Knight Morpher and starts running, with a pink flash.
"Ankylo Totem."
"You're not getting out of here!" Forte raises his sword, as Pink Knight Ranger runs toward him.
Forte tries to bring down his sword, but it gets caught on the cavern's ceiling.
"Coming through," Pink Knight Ranger slides past Forte and continues running.
"What with all the yelling?" Wizar says, as Pink Knight Ranger turns a corner toward him. "Ah, an unexpected house guest.
Wizar aims his wand, as it fires energy bolts at the charging Pink Knight Ranger. Pink Knight Ranger holds up her Dino Blade, and as she approaches him, she strikes down, knocking his wand down, before rolling over Wizar's back.
"Pink little…" Wizar spins around and fires his wand, with blasts going off after the running Pink Knight Ranger.
Pink Knight Ranger runs out of the Darkness Caverns, before she jumps up and flips through the air.
Lance comes out, looking ahead as Pink Knight Ranger riding away on her Dino Force Cycle, "What in the… Jackie?!" He looks to the side, "The Dino Totem…"
At the moment, Shroomie and Hydroneigh come out.
"What did we miss?" Shroomie asks.
"You missed an intruder!" Lance yells at Shroomie, before looking to Hydroneigh. "Get out there, and stop that trespasser!"
"Right, at once, without hesitation, you can count…" Hydroneigh starts.
"Just go!" Lance yells.
"Right!" Hydroneight turns, as his body turns into water and falls down.
Pink Knight Ranger is riding through the forest on her Dino Force Cycle, "I did it…" She holds up the amber enclosed Dino Totem, before looking up to see Hydroneigh appearing from water.
"Going my way?"
"What?!" Pink Knight Ranger starts to pull on her Dino Force Cycle's handlebar.
Hydroneigh waves his arms, and shoots blasts of water, blasting around Pink Knight Ranger as she continues to ride her Dino Force Cycle, while she tries to avoid them. Eventually a large explosion goes off in front of her, sending Pink Knight Ranger flying off of her cycle.
Flipping through the air, Pink Knight Ranger falls hard on the ground of a rock quarry. She starts to get back up, when Menasaur walks over.
"So, Jackie, you came over and didn't even say hi?" Menasaur mocking asks.
"Lance, I got to know… was anything of it real?" Pink Knight Ranger asks, upon standing.
"Oh, poor little Jackie, your friendship, and friendship with the other Rangers, was just a means to your end," Menasaur says. "Now, hand over the Dino Totem, and I let you live long enough to perish alongside your friends."
"None of that will happen," Pink Knight Ranger says, as she holds up her Dino Blade. "You will lose."
"Yeah, sure…" Menasaur says, before he charges.
Pink Knight Ranger blocks Menasaur's sword, before backing away, then spins and strikes, with Menasaur blocks with his shield. Menasaur pushes her back and strikes, barely missing her. Pink Knight Ranger strikes at Menasaur's shield as she runs by, spins and strikes down her Dino Blade, but Menasaur blocks with his shield and then strikes her. He then strikes at her, flipping Pink Knight Ranger onto her back.
Menasaur turns and starts to bring down his sword, with Pink Knight Ranger prepared to block with her Dino Blade, but suddenly he is blasted back a couple steps.
Red, Green, Blue, and Black Knight Rangers drive up on their Dino Force Cycles, before dismounting.
"I really hate those things," Menasaur says.
Pink Knight Ranger returns to her feet, as her friends come over.
"Jackie, are you okay?" Red Knight Ranger asks.
"Yeah, I'm fine…" Pink Knight Ranger responds.
"What were you thinking?" Black Knight Ranger asks.
"I know it was stupid, but I had to do something to make up for it," Pink Knight Ranger says.
"It's all moot," Menasaur says, causing the Rangers to look over to him, as Hydroneigh appears next to him from water. "Not only are you not leaving here with that Dino Totem, but you are not leaving at all."
"We're leaving, Menasaur, and we'll shut you down," Red Knight Ranger says, as the Knight Rangers stand side by side.
"Hydroneigh, retrieve the Dino Totem," Menasaur instructs.
"My pleasure," Hydroneigh says.
The five Rangers raise their Dino Blades, bringing them together, "United as one, defenders of all!" They take fighting stances. "Power Rangers Dino Knight!"
"We're taking the Dino Totem back," Red Knight Ranger says, as the Rangers stand side by side, before they jump up and flip through the air.
"No chance," Hydroneigh says, as he dodges Red Knight Ranger's Dino Blade strike.
Hydroneigh blocks Green Knight Ranger's Dino Blade and spins away, before hops over Black Knight Ranger's low Dino Blade strike. He then blocks Pink Knight Ranger's Dino Blade, and pulls her to the side. Red Knight Ranger strikes Hydroneigh on the back, with the monster turning around and swipes him away. Black Knight Ranger strikes Hydroneigh, who knocks him into a spin.
Hydroneigh turns back to face Red Knight Ranger and waves his hands around, as water forms in front of him.
Red Knight Ranger holds up a Dino Totem, flips it to Knight Mode and inserts it into his Dino Blade, before closing the mouth.
"Archelon Totem!"
Hydroneigh pushes his arms forward, sending a large water blast flying at Red Knight Ranger, who now has an Armor Guard, as the water blast hits him, creating an explosion of water.
Red Knight Ranger is forced back a step, as Blue Knight Ranger, having an Armor Guard, runs up to in front of him.
"Lambeo Stretch Guard!" Blue Knight Ranger holds up his Dino Blade and stabs it forward, as the blade extends toward Hydroneigh, who waves around his arms, forming a water barrier, as the extended blade reaches and swirls around the water barrier, before retracting.
"Raui Power Guard!"
Black Knight Ranger, with an Armor Guard runs up to Hydroneigh, strikes him three times, spins around and strikes him two more times, with each strike block by a water barrier, with one more strike being blocked, followed by Hydroneigh knocks the Ranger back.
"Altirhinus Inflate Guard!" Green Knight Ranger, with an Armor Guard, runs to one side of Hydroneigh.
"Utahraptor Spin Guard!" Pink Knight Ranger, with an Armor Guard, runs to Hydroneigh's other side.
Both Rangers hold out their Dino Blades, as they shoot swirling energy at Hydroneigh, which are blocked by water barriers.
"We can't get around his defenses," Pink Knight Ranger realizes.
"There got to be something we can do," Green Knight Ranger says.
"There is, you can lose," Hydroneigh spreads out his arms, as water swirls around his body, with him disappearing, followed by the water dissipates.
The Knight Rangers start to look around, as they regroup.
"Where did he go?" Pink Knight Ranger asks.
"Stay close, and keep an eye out," Red Knight Ranger instructs. "I'm sure he's still here, somewhere."
Hydroneigh appears from water behind Red Knight Ranger, "Like here?"
Red, Black, and Green Knight Rangers turn in his direction.
Hydroneigh holds out his hands, "Do you know, sound travels faster through water?"
A water wall appears before Hydroneigh as a soundwave shoots out, with the Knight Rangers trying to cover their ears through their helmets, before sparks go off around them and they fall down.
"I really didn't need a science lesson right now," Black Knight Ranger says.
"There got to be a Dino Totem we hadn't tried yet," Red Knight Ranger says.
Blue Knight Ranger holds up a Dino Totem, "Right." He then dodges an arm swipe from Hydroneigh.
Not too far away, Menasaur is watching the battle, "Excellent, soon, not only will I get back my trophy, but all of the Rangers' Dino Totems. And with them, the Dino Knights will truly be no more."
Hydroneigh forms a water barrier, blocking a red energy blast that turns into flower petals. Hydroneigh then turns the water barrier into a water blast and launches it forward, hitting Pink and Green Knight Rangers, blasting them backward, before more water blasts hit Red, Blue, and Black Knight Rangers, blasting them backward.
The five unmorphed Knight Rangers fall onto the ground, as their bodies glow slightly.
Menasaur walks up and picks up the amber encased Dino Totem, "And once again, I win."
"No, you can't," Jackie says, as she and her friends start to return to their feet.
"Give it up, Jackie," Menasaur says, as footsteps are heard in the distance. "I've won, and my victories will continue to mount. And it all started with this. This Dino Totem... is mine!"
"Never!"
Menasaur turns to see Arno, who flips through the air, kicks Menasaur in the chest, knocking him back a couple steps, before Arno flips backward and lands, catching the amber encased Dino Totem.
"This will never be yours," Arno says.
"Who's that?" Jackie asks.
"It's Brittney's friend, Arno," Buffy realizes.
"I don't care who you are, but what do you think you are? To dare and deny me that Dino Totem?!" Menasaur responds.
"I'm… a true Dino Knight," Arno says, surprising the unmorphed Rangers.
Arno then tosses the amber encased Dino Totem into the air, before holding his hand to the side, as appearing in his hand is a mostly blue blaster, with a mosasaurus-like head for the muzzle, with a gold jaw, "Mosa Blaster!"
Arno aims the Mosa Blaster directly up, before firing, hitting the amber encased Dino Totem, with the amber shattering, and the Dino Totem falls down. Arno catches it with his free hand.
"No, this can't be happening!" Menasaur calls out.
"Your victory as you called it, comes to an end," Arno starts. "Now, It's Morphin' Time!"
Arno holds up the Dino Totem, flips it to Knight Mode and inserts it into the back of the Mosa Blaster, which he holds up, before turning the muzzle around, "Dino Knight, Visor Up!"
Arno aims the Mosa Morpher directly up and fires, with his Dino Totem, now animated, shoots out of his Morpher. The Dino Totem stops in midair, brings its arms to its sides, before turning into glowing, gold energy, which flies back down onto Arno, forming the Gold Ranger suit. Then a helmet visor lowers down onto Arno's head, as gold energy shoots onto his head, forming the Gold Ranger helmet.
"Depths of the Mosasaurus! Dino Knight Gold Ranger!"
"He's a Dino Knight Ranger?" Henry asks.
"I don't care who he thinks he is, this changes nothing!" Menasaur calls out. "Knightrons!"
A large group of Knightrons hold out their spears and shields and charge.
Gold Knight Ranger holds to the side the Mosa Sword, a mostly gold short sword, with a jagged, teeth-like blade, a trigger on the handle, and a black ripcord handle on the back.
He then charges, kicks a Knightron's shield, knocking to the side, strikes another Knightron with his Mosa Sword, spins and strikes a third Knightron. He ducks under a spear strike, then back elbows a Knightron. Gold Knight Ranger then motions his head to dodge a Knightron's spear, before catching the spear with both arms and spinning around with the spear, forcing away the Knightrons that had surrounded him.
Gold Knight Ranger then tosses away the spear, rolls past a Knightron and strikes it with his Mosa Sword, before rolling across its back to dodge a Knightron's spear, and then blasts the Knightorn with the Mosa Blaster. He knocks down the first Knightron, then fires at another Knightron, who blocks with its shield, then fires at another Knightron, who also blocks. He then runs ahead, dodging two Knightrons' spears.
Then couple Knightrons toss their spears at the running Gold Knight Ranger, who spins and uses his Mosa Sword to knock away the first two spears, then runs to the side, dodging the next four.
The Knightrons run to the side, as Gold Knight Ranger runs with them, while he blasts them, before he grabs a Knightron and pushes it away. He then pushes away another Knightron's spear, strikes a third with his Mosa Sword and kicks another at its shield. He then runs ahead, pushing away a Knightron's shield before striking it.
Gold Knight Ranger holds up his Mosa Sword, pulls the ripcord handle, as the blade starts moving like a chainsaw, as electricity surges around it, before he jumps slightly, holds it up high and brings it down. A Knightron tries to block with its shield, but Gold Knight Ranger continues to bring his Mosa Sword down, cutting through the shield, with a surge of electricity.
Gold Knight Ranger then blasts the Knightron, before turning and strikes another Knightron, before striking down a third Knightron. He then back kicks another Knightron, bumping it against other Knightrons.
Gold Knight Ranger turns to see Menasaur jumping at him, with his sword raised. Gold Knight Ranger spins away, dodging the sword strike. He then uses the Mosa Sword to block another sword strike, before he side flips over it. He then kicks off Menasaur's shield, flips backward and fires his Mosa Blaster, blasting Menasaur. He then jumps ahead, strikes with the Mosa Sword, before firing the Mosa Blaster at point blank range, sending Menasaur flying backward.
Gold Knight Ranger tabs the back of the Mosa Blaster and pulls out the Dino Totem. He holds up another Dino Totem, flips it into Knight Mode and inserts it into the back of the Mosa Blaster, with the sides flipped up, forming fins.
"Spino Totem!"
Gold Knight Ranger then pulls on the Mosa Blaster's head, pumping it, couple times, before holding it straight up and fires.
"Spino Shock Armor, Armor Up!"
Gold Knight Ranger fires the Mosa Blaster, with electricity surging around the blaster as he slowly holds it to his side, before electricity surges up his arm and torso, as the electricity forms a spinosaurus' head on the right shoulder, with it roars. The electricity dissipates, as full gold armor formed on Gold Knight Ranger.
"He got his own armor?" Mackey asks.
"Just like the Dimetro Blaze Armor?" Kent adds.
"Who is this guy?" Buffy asks.
The remaining Knightrons line up, in two rows of three, and hold up their shields
"You just give me an easy target," Gold Knight Ranger aims the Mosa Blaster, before firing a bolt of electricity, which hits the gathered Knightrons, with the electricity spreads out and causes a large explosion.
As the Knightrons fall down, Hydroneigh runs past them, as a water barrier forms in front of him, "Try and get past my defenses."
Gold Knight Ranger aims his Mosa Blaster, as it glows, "Water conducts electricity."
Gold Knight Ranger fires a bolt of electricity, which goes through the water barrier, blasting Hydroneigh, as electricity surges out, "I forgot!"
The water barrier dissipates, Hydroneigh falls down.
The unmorphed Knight Rangers continue to look on.
Hydroneigh returns to his feet, "Lightning powers or not, I'm still gonna water lodge you."
"That's not gonna happen," Gold Knight Ranger holds up his Mosa Blaster. "Not now, or ever."
"We see how you can do... while drowning!" Hydroneigh spreads out his arms, as water starts to form in front of him.
Gold Knight Ranger holds out the Mosa Sword, before connecting to the bottom of the Mosa Blaster, and holds it up, "Mosa Cannon!"
Hydroneigh is forming a large blast of water, "A slightly larger weapon won't save you!"
Gold Knight Ranger starts to aim his Mosa Cannon, as electricity surges around it, "You're the one in need of saving."
Both continue to prepare their attacks.
Hydroneigh fires off a massive blast of water.
The spinosaurus head on the armor roars, before Gold Knight Ranger grabs onto the Mosa Cannon, "Spino Cannon Blast!"
Gold Knight Ranger fires a massive blast of electricity, which blows through the water blast, and collides with Hydroneigh, as he surges with electricity, "Now that's a shocking ending!"
Hydroneigh is consumed in a large explosion, as Gold Knight Ranger lowers his arms.
Gold Knight Ranger turns to see Menasaur to the side.
"This isn't over," Menasaur starts. "I will still win in the end!"
He turns away, as a checker field passes over him.
Back at the Darkness Caverns, Lance returns to find Wizar and Forte standing there.
"Well, well, if it isn't the returning victor," Wizar mocks. "Oh, wait, you lost your precious trophy."
"Perhaps you should let a real Negadon handle it," Forte tells him.
"Listen to me, I'm the only one who has managed any success," Lance starts. "You two, between your attacks and trickery, hadn't even come close to achieve a victory. And while mine might've been temporary, I will claim all of their Dino Totems and the energy our Queen needs."
Lance then walks between Wizar and Forte, as the two watch him.
At the rock quarry, Kent, Jackie, Mackey, Buffy, and Henry approach Arno.
"Thanks for your help, Arno," Kent says, before offering a handshake. "And welcome to the team."
Arno looks from Kent's outreach hand to him and the others, "I have no intention to join any team, especially one composed of non-real Dino Knights."
"Non-real Dino Knights?" Buffy asks.
"We are as real Dino Knights as you," Henry says.
"No, you are not," Arno starts. "Unlike you, I am a Zaurus."
"A Zaurus, as in the people who lived alongside the dinosaurs?" Mackey asks. "They're extinct."
"You are misinformed," Arno tells them. "A large number of Zaurus survived the extinction event due to living in the city of Lemuria."
