Epilog
December in England doesn't always mean it's going to snow, but Louisa was happily surprised to see it had when she woke up that morning. It was going to be the best wedding she had ever attended. She could already smell amazing food being made downstairs by Charlie's mother. They had come in last night from Romania to attend Ron's wedding, and stay for Christmas.
Louisa had never had a more warming welcome from an overwhelming about of people at once. It might have been cold outside, but inside the burrow it was warm and cozy and most of that was down to the people. Mrs. Weasley had wrapped her in a tight hug exclaiming that she was so glad her son had found someone to keep him company in Romania.
Mr. Weasley had wanted to know everything about the muggle world in America. Sadly, Louisa couldn't give him anything more exciting then what they already had in England. Louisa also had the pleasure of meeting Bill and Fleur and their beautiful daughter. A little later that night she met Harry's wife Ginny and Ron's soon to be wife Hermione. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. She couldn't imagine ever living in a family as big, and nice as this one. Apparently once you were in with the Weasley's you were in for life, and Louisa couldn't wait.
"Morning." Charlie said sleepily as he shifted beside her. "It's so weird coming home and having a girl in my bed." Louisa laughed. "Mum would have killed me if I ever did something like this as a teen."
"I don't think a girl would have made it past the front door. You have way too many siblings."
Charlie chuckled. "That I do." Charlie wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her towards him before lowering his head and kissing her. "Mm. I don't know what smells better. You or the food." Louisa gave him a playful punch. "I'm sure it's the food. Come on, lets go." As they got dressed and went downstairs, Charlie instantly regretted it. His mother was running around cursing everything in sight that messed up her food preparations.
Hermione was going over a binder filled with the details for the day. Louisa approached her cautiously. "Hermione. I think you need to take a break. If you stress yourself out too much, you won't enjoy the day and you'll miss it." Hermione snapped her head up at her like she was going to rip Louisa's head right off her shoulders. After a minute though she hung her head and sighed. "You're right. I know you are right. I don't want to miss out on my big day."
Mrs. Weasley called from the kitchen. "CHARLES WEASLEY! GET YOUR HANDS OFF THAT RIGHT NOW." Hermione and Louisa exchanged a look followed by a giggle as they walked towards the kitchen. "Come on Mum. No one will notice one potato missing."
"I will." She snapped. She turned to Louisa and Hermione. "Sorry dears. Hermione, I think your parents are arriving. You might want to get them before Mr. Weasley corners them." Hermione nodded and rushed outside. Charlie slipped his hand into Louisa's and pulled her towards the door as well. "Lou and I are just going to step outside and see if dad needs any help." Charlie said pulling Louisa behind him and rushing outside.
A few hours later Louisa found herself sitting among a sea of red heads, with Charlie at her side. Ron had decided he had too many brothers to include in the wedding so settled on Harry, and Hermione only had Ginny. It was oddly romantic. Charlie watched as his brother made his vows to love Hermione for as long as they both shall live, all the while holding on to Louisa's hand. It was odd thinking that maybe one day that could be them. He prayed that they would last that long. The love he felt for Louisa was like nothing he ever experienced before.
It was like he completed her completely. She was the missing piece to his puzzle and he never wanted to let that go. He glanced down at her and smiled as she looked up at him. Louisa's heart fluttered as she held her tongue trying to hold in everything that she wanted to tell him. All in good time. She thought to herself as the wedding continued around them.
At the reception she was tossed around meeting all sorts of aunts and uncles of Charlies. Most of them, he admitted, he didn't remember. Charlie spun her around on the dance floor a couple of times, to keep them both from having to talk to another distant relative. Charlie pulled Louisa close to him and sighed heavily as she rested her head on his chest.
"Can I ask you a really random, kind of scary question?" He asked her. "Hm?" she said.
"Do you think this will ever be something we do?" Charlie asked her and Louisa could feel his heart racing out of fear. She knew that was a big deal for him to ask. They had only seriously been seeing each other for six months or so. Louisa also knew that she needed to give him an honest answer. She pulled back and dropped her hands to her stomach before turning to face Charlie. Looking him in the eyes she finally told him what she's wanted to tell him for weeks.
"Yes, but maybe we can wait until after our baby is born."
