Akira is a girl who obtained a special gift from her partner Pokémon, and because of this gift Team Rocket searches for her so they can use her gift for their own evil and selfish wishes.

14. Chapter 14

Chapter 14 Akira's birthday surprise

Back at Lucario's castle in the mountains of Jhoto.

Akira woke up in a comfortable bed, rubbed her eyes then looked around the room for Shadow. He was nowhere to be found, but she did find some of her partners blue fur on her bed.

I have to find Shadow. Akira said in a worried tone.

The girl looked up then noticed the light of the full moon coming through the glass doors leading onto a balcony looking out over the beautiful forest that surrounded the castle. She got up off the bed, walked over to the glass doors then opened them. She walked out onto the balcony, leaned on the railing then looked out at the beautiful scenery. She felt the warm night air blowing through her hair. It's such a beautiful night, but where am I? Akira suddenly remembered that she had an argument with Lucario and that he was going to force her to come with him.

Maybe this is Lucarios hideout? It's so peaceful out here. I hope Team Rocket lost my trail. Who am I kidding even if they did; Professor Sebastian won't just give up hunting me down. Akira sighed. I better go search for Shadow. Dwelling on Team Rocket won't help me find him any sooner.

The girl walked back in her room then close the glass doors behind her. She walked out of her room and saw a hallway with three rooms on each side of the hallway. She checked all the rooms, but Shadow was nowhere to be girl walked out of the room, shut the door then heard someone talking. Its time to get answers. The girl walked the rest of the way down the hallway, walked down the beautiful staircase with red carpet until she saw a room with light coming from it. Akira peeked into the room. She saw a fancy room with a beautiful fireplace. She looked infront of the fireplace to see Lucario sitting with his legs crossed on the floor and Shadow sitting across from Lucario. Both their eyes were glowing a light purple color. Akira gasped. She kicked the door open.

What are you doing to Shadow!? Akira exclaimed.

Lucario smiled then clapped his paws together. Shadow fell over on his side sleeping peacefully.

I knew you were coming to find your friend. Lucario said in a calm tone.

Answer me!

There is no need to get angry. Sit across from me.

Akira slowly and cautiously walked over to Lucario. She sat across from him then crossed her legs.

I can sense you don't trust me. Why is that? Lucario grabbed his cup of tea then took a sip.

Look what you did to Shadow. Why would I trust you?

Lucario put his tea on the floor beside him.

I didn't hurt your partner. I removed the taint from his aura. To address your concern, I saved you from Professor Sebastian.

What? The girl said in shock.

He had you both deeply hypnotized. When he told you to do something you both obeyed him without question.

It's happened more than once. I think four times, but after the necklaces and then the last time with the collar. I never remember what happens though. The last time he hypnotized me, I somehow ended up in the woods.

How did you get into the woods?! Lucario exclaimed.

I remember Sebastian putting the necklace on me then the next thing I knew I saw a broken necklace, then I pulled a sleep dart out of my leg.

What.

Oh it gets better. Then the Dr. with the white hair tried to tell me he accidently put the wrong chip in . As if that makes me feel better.

Lucario suddenly reached his paw out to Akira. Put your hands in my paw.

Why? Akira said confused.

Trust me. I wont hurt you. I am here to protect you from those evil people. I cant help you if you wont trust me. Please Akira.

The girl looked Lucario in the eyes then cautiously put her hands in Lucarios paw. Lucario put his other paw on top of the girls hands.

Now, keep your eyes on mine.

Lucario's eyes turned a light purple color then Akira's did the same. Lucario saw Everything she and her partner Shadow went through from when she first rescued him from that cage in Professor Elms lab until Lucario rescued them.

Lucario gasped. He suddenly held her hands in a tighter grip. Akiras eyes turned back to normal then she was surprised by the serious look Lucario had on his face.

What's wrong? Why are you looking at me like that?

I saw you turn into this aggressive Houndoom like beast.

I started to do that after Sebastians first experiment on me.

Your aura is severely tainted. You cant even control this form. I must get rid of this form.

Akira started to panic. She suddenly jumped up then she started to transform.

Lucario help me! Akira said trying to fight the transformation.

The girl suddenly transformed into that same Houndoom like beast . She looked at Lucario then she saw Lucario still had her hands or now paws in his grip. She threw him with all her might. Lucario lost his grip, he flew toward the wall, his feet touched the wall then he did a flip, then landed on his feet on the floor.

Akira stop! Lucario shouted.

The girl turned to Lucario, ran towards him then tried to jump on top of him to crush him. Lucario jumped out of the way then Akira started to try to strike him multiple times with her claws.

Lucario called out to Mew. She appeared.

Mew restrain Akira.

Mew used Phychic. She made the girl stop in her tracks. Lucario ran up to her then used Aura Sphere. The attack hit her, Mew stopped her attack, Akira dropped to the ground, she passed out then returned to normal.

Lucario sighed in relief. He tied Akira to a chair just incase she woke up and started to transform. He grabbed another chair then sat down across from her. The Aura Guardians put their paws on the girls forehead. They connected their minds to Akiras then they used their aura to slowly purify her aura. Lucario and Mew worked for hours purifying her aura. Once they purified it she never had to fear turning into that beast again. She could now be trained to control her aura and be trained to protect herself from Team Rocket.

We did it Mew. Lucario said then rubbed his eyes.

Mew Mew Mew?

Yes Mew. They are both purified. Lets get them both upstairs to bed. Tommorrow we will start their training, but for now we all could use some sleep.

Lucario untied the girl. Mew used Psychic to lift Akira and Shadow off the floor. She used teleport. All four of them were suddenly back in Akiras room in the castle. Lucario carried the girl over to her bed, placed her in the bed, put a pillow under her head then covered her up with a blanket. Lucario picked up Shadow then he put him on the end of the bed, put his head on a pillow then covered him to his shoulders with a blanket.

Lets get some sleep Mew. We have a big day tomorrow.

Mew nodded her head then they both turned in for the night.

Meanwhile at the Team Rocket HQ

Professor Sebastian was up late writing down different ideas on how to capture the girl and her puppy.

Hmm. This is going to be harder than I originally planned. Where could those Pokémon possibly taken them. Nobody just vanishes into thin air. So far the drones have failed to locate the girl. That Lucario is one special Pokémon. Strong to. We need something to get Akira away from those Pokémon when we find her, but we have to find them first. When we do find them maybe we could use the girl and her puppy as bait to capture those strong Pokemon.

Suddenly Professor Sebastian received a phone call from Giovanni.

Giovanni sir.

Any progress on locating Akira Akari?

Not yet. We have the drones out searching for the girl. As soon as we find her I will call you at once.

Very good Sebastian.

Sir I have my special invention finished.

What is this invention.

While Zager was making that collar for Akira, he had an idea. If this collar can use her aura to control her mind, what if we could create a device that could keep sending out aura pulses.

Aura pulses?

Yes. For example I have a feeling Lucario will be training the girl to control her ability and possibly teach her something new. So if she tried to use her aura, I hit a button on the remote in my pocket then the aura pulse goes out. This pulse affects anyone with this aura ability. If she uses her ability it will weaken her. It has a similar effect to kryptonite. I figure this could help us capture her.

Interesting. Make sure you set a device like that in her cell. We don't need her escaping again. We might only get one more shot, so it has to count.

Yes sir.

Very good Sebastian. Get some sleep. Call me as soon as you learn something.

I will do that. The screen went dark. Sebastian chuckled evilly. My cleaver little fox, you will obey me whether you want to or not. Enjoy your brief freedom while you can.

The Next morning.

The sun was shining brightly in Akira's room. It was nine oclock in the morning. The girls eyes started to open. She rubbed her eyes then looked around the room. She saw Shadow sleeping on the end of her bed. Suddenly she heard a knock on the door. The girl gasped then started to gently shake Shadow.

Shadow wake up, wake up. Please! Akira said starting to panic.

Akira whats wrong?

I think we are in danger.

Shadow jumped up when he heard the doorknob turning then he started to growl. The door opened. Lucario and Mew came into the room. Shadow stopped growling.

Stay away from Shadow! Do not hurt my friend. Akira exclaimed.

Relax Akira. Im not here to hurt either of you. We talked about this last night.

You knocked Shadow out.

I told you, I was purifying his aura. I purified yours as well. Its just something that happens from the process.

You helped us? Why would you help us?

We are Aura Guardian's, its our job to protect the choosen ones from people with bad intentions. I understand you don't trust us . I understand a lot has happened to you, but I am telling you the truth.

Lucario held his paw out to the girl. She grabbed his paw then shook his paw.

Thank you for saving us. I apologize for my behavior.

Don't worry about it. Mew and I made breakfast. You are both welcome to join us. After breakfast I am going to start your training.

Training? Akira said confused.

I have to teach you to control your aura and how to use it effectively when trouble arrives.

I'm guessing you are referring to Team Rocket?

I am.

Alright then, lets gets some breakfast. Im so hungry Team Rocket didn't feed me full meals, just enough to keep me going so I wouldn't pass out.

Im sorry to hear that, but I can guarantee you will love Mews cooking.

Akira want to race to breakfast? Shadow said with a sly smirk on his face .

Your on blue boy. One, two. Sudddenly Shadow bolted out of the room. Hey wait for me you little cheater. Akira exclaimed while running after Shadow.

Lucario and Mew chuckled then they headed down to breakfast.

Shadow made it to the big dinning room. It had a beautiful chandelier, stain glass windows with pictures of Lucario and Mew, a giant table with 20 chairs.

I win Akira. Shadow said jumping up and down. Akira suddenly pounced on Shadow.

I finally caught up to you.

What took you so long little girl. Shadow started to smirk again.

What are you smirking about? Your not getting any food. Akira winked at her friend.

That's enough you two. Shadows mother said.

Akira gave Shadow a hug. Im so happy to see you free from Sebastians control.

Shadow licked his trainers face. Lucario and Mew will help us Akira don't worry.

Akira and Shadow ran to the table than sat in a chair.

Shadow smelled the food being prepared in the kitchen. He started to drool on the table.

Lucario came out of the kitchen, then sat a plate with twelve pancakes with whip topping and freshly picked strawberries in front of Shadow.

Shadow looked up at Lucario. Can I have a drink?

Ill do better than that. Mew.

Mew suddenly appeared with a dog bowl filled with Moo Moo Milk.

Moo Moo Milk! How did you know whats what I wanted? Shadow asked.

I saw a memory in your mind when I was purifying your aura. Your partner Akira made this for you before you started your journey with her.

We never got to go on a journey. We were constantly running away from Team Rocket. Akira said in a disappointed tone.

While Akira was talking to Lucario Mew continued passing out everyone's breakfast.

Akira, why are so upset. Richard said as he walked into the room with his wife, Brianna, Jessica, Alexis, Jasmine and Sparky.

Its not important. The girl sighed.

Brianna whispered into Richards ear. I will have a talk with her later and find out.

I have something that might cheer you up Akira. Marie said smiling.

Whats that? Akira asked.

I have Shadows baby pictures.

Akira smirked at Shadow. I would love to see them.

Shadow swallowed his food then his jaw dropped.

Mom! Don't embarrass me. Shadow said in embarrassment.

What wrong Shadow? I bet you were a cute baby. Akira said.

Brianna opened her bag then put a handful of pictures on the table.

Awwwww. Look at baby Shadow. Is he wearing a diaper. Akira started to chuckle.

Shadow face started to turn red in embarrassment.

Don't worry Shadow, when I was a baby I wore diapers to.

He was a cutie. He was fully grown in a year. Marie said smiling.

Wow. He sure grew up quick. Akira said.

These are his favorite toys. A blue bone,a tennis ball and a squeaky pokeball. Marie said.

Akira started to squeak Shadows toys. He looked up at Akira with an excited expression on his face then suddenly he looked away.

Don't worry Shadow, you are the best partner a girl could ask for.

Shadow smiled then went back to eating his breakfast.

Akira started to eat her breakfast

So Akira, how are you and Shadow doing since your escape? Brianna asked.

Akira looked at Brianna with a disgusted look. Why? Did Professor Sebastian tell you to spy on us?

No. I don't work for Team Rocket anymore. I am just trying to be nice.

The girl took another bite of her breakfast.

I'm just going to be blunt. Did you hurt Shadow while he was kidnaped by these people?

No, I tried to help him once then Sebastian got angry with me and after that they kept him away from me.

Shadow is this true?

Yes. She did try to help me when Hun was hurting me.

Ok. I just want to eat my breakfast. I don't want to talk about Professor Sebastian or Team Rocket.

Brianna let Akira alone. They both had a rough time with Team Rocket. Lucario said.

Im not trying to be mean Brianna, Shadow and I have been through a lot and we just want some time to spend together.

I understand. Brianna said.

After you and Shadow are finished with breakfast we will start your training Lucario said.

Alright Lucario, lets say I trust you. Then what? Akira asked.

Mew and I train you then we try to avoid Team Rocket for as long as we can. Lucario said.

What happens if they find us? Akira asked.

We fight and we show no mercy. We cant let them capture you two again. Lucario said with a stern look on his face.

So Brianna what is your story. Akira asked.

Brianna told Akira her story about how she joined Team Rocket then her escape.

Then I ran for my life with Jessica and we found Richard and Marie.

Team Rocket Inc. Akira chuckled. That's the best lie Professor Sebastian could come up with.

I really did try to help Shadow, but I never knew the whole story. Brianna said.

Don't worry about it. As long as you help us stop Team Rocket, that's all that matters.

I don't hold anything against you. Shadow said with whipped cream on his face from his breakfast.

Same here. Akira said smiling.

Thanks guys. Brianna said.

Shadow and Akira nodded.

How are you feeling son? Richard asked.

I feel well rested. Shadow said.

How are you feeling Akira? Marie asked.

I feel good. My body still hurts a little bit, but for the most part I'm well rested. Akira said.

That's good. Marie said.

Mom dad, I'm sorry I wondered off. Shadow said then looked down.

Shadow you have nothing to be sorry for, You were just a puppy then. Marie said.

Can I hear Shadows story? Akira asked Shadows parents.

Its hard to talk about, but sure. The story began one year ago. I gave birth to a blue puppy. Richard and I were both shocked. Shadow is what you humans call a shiny Pokémon. A normal Houndour is red and black are son is blue with some orange. He was also born with that strange heart shaped mark on his forehead. Marie said.

When Shadow was born we got a visit from Lucario and Mew.

Wait. Lucario how did you know their son was the choosen one?

I could sense it with my aura. My aura showed me the way to him. He also had the mark of aura on his forehead and paw. Lucario said.

Interesting. Akira said.

I also knew the next chosen one would be born soon. I didn't know exactly what day, but I knew it would be sometime that year. Please continue. Lucario said.

When Shadow was six months old we were playing in the cave Shadow saw a Pidgey, then he ran out of the cave to chase it. That's when I saw Professor Sebastian. He grabbed our boy by the scruff of fur on his neck. We both ran outside the cave and confronted him, but he shot both of us with tranquilzer darts. When we woke up our son was gone. Richard said with a tear in his eye.

Mom, dad its not your fault. Shadow said.

Your son is right. Its Team Rocket who is to blame and we will get them back for what they did to you both. Akira said.

Thank you Akira. Richard said.

A few weeks ago Richard and I both were sleeping in our cave when we heard a howl. We woke up then ran outside to see our son in a cage outside our cave, then we saw Professor Sebastian. He shot me with a tranquilizer dart. Richard saw me pass out then he tried to fight off Professor Sebastian, but he wasn't alone there was six other Team Rocket members with him. Marie said.

Ill take it from here darling. I saw a buff guy, a woman with ice blue hair, a man with olive green eyes and three regular grunts. I was surrounded, but I knew I couldn't just give up. I saw my son was in trouble, so I ran infront of the grunts then that scientist shot tranquilizer darts at me, I was able to dodge all the tranquilzer darts the scientist shot at me. Luckally the darts hit the three grunts and knocked them out, then I saw the three high ranked rocket members closing in on me. I was trapped like a Ratticate. So I fought back, I used Flamethrower on the woman with icy blue hair, she jumped out of the way, the buff guy ran toward me, I dodged then used my horns when I Tackled him, I Knocked him into the river, but my luck ran out when the man with olive green eyes threw a rope over my neck. I was pulling as hard as I could trying to break the mans grip on the rope around my neck. I used Flamethrower to cut the rope, but when I was distracted I felt a pinch on my right leg. I turn to look at my right leg, I saw the dart. I tried to run, but they shot me with a second dart. Before I passed out I crawled up to my sons cage then told him I love him and that I was sorry that I failed him. I suddenly looked up and saw Professor Sebastian looking down at me. Then everything went dark. Next thing I knew I woke up in a cage with my wife. We spent weeks in that cage. We were surprised to see Akira disguised as a Team Rocket grunt trying to rescue us. When she freed us I was wondering if she escaped, but when Jasmine and Jessica came back then told us Akira and our son didn't escape I contacted Lucario and Mew. I knew they were are only hope of rescuing our son and his partner. Brianna helped us come up with a plan then we rescued you guys and now we are here safe and sound. Richard said.

Im sorry for what you both went through, but im glad Lucario and Mew helped us all be reunited and Im happy I got to truly meet you guys. Akira looked at Shadow's parents with a sympathetic look on her face.

Thank you Akira that means a lot to both of us. Richard said.

Everyone had pancakes, whipped topping and fresh strawberries sitting in front of them with some Moo Moo Milk to drink.

After breakfast Lucario took the chosen ones to his training dojo in the forest.

Alright I am going to use this special training dojo to train you both to fight off Team Rocket. Since both your auras are purified the training will be very effective.

Hey Lucario. I was wondering, I know we are only starting training today, but can we take a break tomorrow. Akira asked nervously.

No. You have to take your training seriously.

Lucario, tomorrow is my. Lucario put his paw over her mouth.

Nothing is more important than your training. Team Rocket must go down. No exceptions! Whatever tomorrow is, it can wait. Lucario said frustrated with the girl.

Akira growled at Lucario.

You want to get captured again? Lucario asked.

No. The girl said.

Good, now listen up. I am going to teach you both a new move. Akira, you can perform something very similar to my Aura Sphere. Shadow, you can create a protective force field around you and Akira if necessary.

Shadow and Akira both looked at each other in amazement.

Alright you two we are going to be practicing with dummies. We needed targets that wouldn't move and that could withstand your new aura attacks. Mew if you would be so kind.

Mew disappeared then reappeared with 10 Dummies two of each rocket member. They looked like Professor Sebastian, Dr. Zager, Hun, Attila, Pierce. They surrounded Akira and Shadow.

Alright Akira, watch me.

Lucario created an Aura Sphere. To use my Aura Sphere, first I must focus on my target. Second you must know where your Aura Sphere is at all time. Lose focus and you will either lose control or you will miss your target and Professor Sebastian captures you. Give it a try.

Akira looked over at the training dummy that looks like Professor Sebastian, she focuses her attention on her target then she images him trying to capture her. The girl created a light purple Aura Sphere with her aura shaped mark in the center. She let the sphere go and it hit the training dummy with so much force it took its head off.

Shadow, Lucario, Mew and Akira's Jaw dropped.

Sheesh. You knocked his head off. His head is missing did you all see that, how did you do that on your first try Akira? Remind me never to make you angry. Shadow said shocked at what he saw.

That was pretty good chosen one. Lucario said.

That was easy. Akira said.

Can you do it again? Lucario asked.

Check this out. Akira said with a smirk on her face.

The girl started to make another Aura Sphere when suddenly she started to lose control of her sphere. She was about to hit Shadow by accident when she quickly threw the sphere into the air.

Meanwhile high in the sky one of Team Rockets drones were flying high in the sky when suddenly Akira's Aura Sphere hit the drone and it exploded.

Lucario why did that Aura Sphere explode? Akira said with a nervous expression on her face.

I don't know. Wait, what's that falling out of the sky? Lucario said then something hit the ground.

Mew bring that thing over there to us. Mew flew over to the device then dropped it in front of everyone.

What is that thing? Lucario said.

Its a drone. Akira said.

Shadow hit the drone with his paw and turned it over. He saw a red R on the back on the drone. Akira and Shadow gasped then looked at each other.

Whats wrong you two? Lucario asked with a conserned look on his face.

It's Team Rockets drone! Shadow exclaimed.

How did they find us already? Akira asked Shadow.

I don't know? Shadow said.

What if they sent these drones out after we escaped to cover the whole Jhoto region? That way at some point they would locate us. Akira said in a worried tone.

This isn't good Akira, they are going to notice a drone is offline. Hopefully the drone didn't see us. Shadow said.

Meanwhile at the Team Rocket HQ

Annie and Oakley was sitting in an office watching the drone monitors.

I hope we find that girl soon Oakley. I cant wait to know why Professor Sebastian wants to capture this girl so badly. Annie said while giving herself a manicure.

I heard this girl has some kind of special ability. I also heard about a blue Houndour that shared his ability with this girl. Oakley said.

Oakley pulled a book out of her bag that was sitting on the floor next to her.

What is that Oakley?

This is a book on aura. This book has everything Professor Sebastian needs to know about the girl and her blue pups ability.

Interesting. So how special is this girl and her pup Oakley? Annie said then she started to look at herself in the mirror.

Oakley started to read Akira's book. The book says every 1000 years one Pokémon is born with the mark of aura.

Oakley showed Annie a picture of the mark Akira and Shadow share. A light purple heart shaped outline.

That is the mark of aura. Project Shadow or that blue Houndour is the Pokémon spoken about in this book. It says they can share pain, this Pokémon can pass this ability to a human that has a pure heart. Which in this case would be Akira Akari.

Oakley flipped to the last chapter.

Its missing? Annie said confused.

Professor Sebastian told me the girl ripped it out of the book, she had Professor Elm hide it in a safe. They almost had the chapter from this book when they went to Professor Elms lab to get it. Oakley said.

So what went wrong? Annie asked.

Somehow the girl snapped out of the good Dr's hypnotic control, they chased the girl to her apartment where they finally captured her.

What happened to the chapter? Annie asked.

She ran into her bathroom, ripped it up then flushed it down the toilet, but the good Dr's were able to hypnotize her then they had her tell them all about the last chapter in her book. She escaped, now its are job to find her.

Interesting. This girl really is special. Annie said smirking evilly.

She wont escape us. I have a plan in mind to capture her. Oakley said.

Suddenly one of the drones went offline.

What just happened? Annie asked.

Hmm. It looks like a drone is offline. I'm going to rewind the footage the drone captured before it went offline. Oakley said.

Oakley looked back at the footage until she suddenly paused it then she gasped.

Annie look a blue dog and a girl.

Oh this day just gets better Oakley.

Oakley contacted Professor Sebastian on her radio.

Professor Sebastian do you read me?

Go ahead Oakley.

Sir, can you come to the monitor room? I think we found them.

Ill be right there. Professor Sebastian said with a sinister smirk on his face.

Professor Sebastian was in his lab experimenting on wild pokemon they stole from the forest when he got a call on his radio from Oakley. Hun, Attila and Pierce were in the lab with him.

Hun come with me. Attila, Pierce lock up the Pokémon. We don't need them escaping. Professor Sebastian said then he ran down the hallway with Hun to the room where Annie and Oakley were waiting for them to arrive.

Hun and Professor Sebastian finally made it to the monitor room.

What have your found out Oakley?

Sir one of the drones are offline. so I went back to the footage the drone already recorded, then I saw this.

Professor Sebastian looked at the screen then then everyone in the room saw a sinister smile appear on his face then he started chuckling evilly.

There you are my cleaver little fox. Oh look she has her puppy with her. Professor Sebastian typed something into the computer next to the monitors, then a paper printed out with coordinates on it.

Annie and Oakley looked over at Hun then saw an evil smirk on her face, then Annie and Oakley looked at each other then smirked.

I have to contact Giovanni at once. All of you come to my office immediately. Hun contact Attila, Pierce and Dr. Zager then have them meet us at my office.

Yes sir. Hun said.

Once everyone was in Professor Sebastians office, he typed a phone number into his computer. Everyone looked up at the screen on the wall. After a few rings Giovanni appeared on the screen.

Hello Sebastian its good to hear from you. Have you located the girl and her puppy yet?

Yes sir. Oakley called me on my radio when one of our drones went offline, but before it was, it captured an image of the girl and her puppy. I have their Coordinates on this piece of paper.

Good work Oakley. Giovanni said smiling evilly.

Thank you sir. How should Annie and I proceed? Oakley said.

Zager are the collars finished? Giovanni asked.

Only one sir. We are making four collars in total. Dr. Zager said.

Where are they located? Giovanni asked.

Somewhere deep in the forest in the Jhoto mountains. Professor Sebastian said.

I guarantee Annie and I can find them. Oakley said.

Good I want both out you to head out immediately. Giovanni said.

Yes sir. Annie and Oakley said.

Take your gear with you and the collar Zager just finished just incase the girl figures out you are with Team Rocket. Giovanni said.

Next I want you both to get creative and find a way to trick the girl into trusting you, then when you have her vulnerable lead her to Sebastian. When you have her captured, put the collar on her then make sure you cover the collar up so nobody notices it, put a small device in her ear so she can follow your commands. After that , have her steal those books Professor Elm gave her. Also have her find out the location of the stones from Raikou, Entei ,and Suicune. Once she returns to you, erase her memory and leave her in the forest. We have to make sure we are prepared before we capture Akira and her puppy, then we will trap the Aura Guardians. Any questions? What if the girl fights us? Hun asked.

Annie and Oakley went to gather their gear. Dr. Zager went to Lab A to get the collar ready. Hun, Attila, and Pierce went to load up the cargo ship for the mission. Professor Sebastian pulled up the drone cameras on his computer to try to learn more about the girl and where she has been.

Meanwhile Akira and Shadow continued their training.

Alright. Lets gets back to our training. Lucario said.

Shadow and Akira nodded.

Akira looked at the dummy that looked like Pierce.

Lucario Walked over to Akira then he grabbed her wrists then flipped her hands over so that her aura marks were shown on the palms of her hands.

You have the Mark Of Aura on both of your palms. If you concentrate, you can keep hitting targets, but lets try two ,to start with.

Akira looked at the training dummies that looked like Pierce and Hun. Her eyes turned a light purple color.

Now consentrate. feel your aura going into your hands.

The girls hands started to glow a light purple color.

Akira, you are in control of your aura. Picture your aura building in your hands then unleash your aura and defend yourself.

Lucario nodded at Mew. Mew used Psychic attack to lift the training dummies that looked like Pierce and Hun. Akira gasped.

They are going to capture you Akira. Stop them before they do. Lucario said then smirked.

Akira saw the danger she was in. She concentrated then an Aura Sphere formed on each of the marks on her hands it was a light purple color with the mark of aura she quickly threw one hand at one of the dummies then quickly threw the other one at the second dummy. When her attack hit them the dummies broke apart then the pieces scattered around them.

I did it. Akira looked at the palms of her hands then Shadow ran up to her and they high fived each other.

Excellent job Akira. Lucario said.

Mew flew up to her and gave her a high five .

Alright Shadow your up. You I want you to create a force field to protect yourself from my attack. Lucario said.

Shadow and Akira gasped.

Are you serious! How do you know he can create a force field!? Akira exclaimed.

I read his aura. Its hard to explain, but he can do it. When I read your aura I knew your special ability was something close to my Aura Sphere. Shadow concentrate on protecting yourself from tranquizer darts.

Ill just dodge them. Shadow said with a big smile on his face.

Ok. I really didn't want to do this. Lucario said shaking his head then he suddenly started to smirk.

Do what? Shadow asked.

Lucario vanished then reappeared behind Akira, he grabbed her then tied her to a tree.

Thanks for your help Mew. Lucario said.

Now, Im going to hit Akira with my Aura Sphere, and there is nothing you can do to stop me from hurting her. Lucario said smirking evilly.

Don't you dare. Shadow started to growl.

Shadow saw Lucario starting to create his Aura Sphere, he gasped, ran as fast as he could to get to Akira then he stood infront of her growling at Lucario.

Shadow listen to me boy. Focus your aura on protecting us both. Akira said starting to panic.

Ready or not, here it comes. Lucario said then he released his Aura Sphere.

Shadow saw the attack coming. Suddenly his eyes glowed a light purple color then a force field surrounded Shadow and Akira. The attack hit the force field then vanished.

Now Mew. Lucario said while smirking evilly.

Mew used Psychic, then she picked up all the remaining training dummies and threw them at Shadow and Akira. Shadow stood his ground, his force field continued. All the training dummies hit the pups force field at full force, then they exploded on impact. Shadow and Akira were both unharmed. Lucario started to walk towards them clapping his paws together.

Excellent job. Both of you did well. We are almost done with our training for today. Akira I want to show you how to use the other abilities you saw Shadow use at different times while you both were captured. You wont be able to learn how to create a force field , but I can show you the other things. Lets finish our training for today, have dinner then call it a night.

A few hours later.

Akira and Shadow finished their training with Lucario. They went inside the castle, had dinner then they turned in for the night. Akira and Shadow opened the doors that lead to the balcony in their room, leaned on the ledge of the balcony then sighed. Suddenly she heard a knock on the glass door that lead to the balcony. Akira turned around, she saw Brianna waving at her then she turned around and leaned on the ledge of the balcony again. Shadow leaned his head on Akira's leg.

Hey Akira I wanted to congratulate you and Shadow on an excellent first day of training.

Thanks. Akira said in a sad tone.

Akira what's bothering you? I saw you doing this earlier today as well. Brianna said.

Its just that, tomorrow is my 16th birthday. I just wanted to take a break from anything that related to Team Rocket trying to get us.

The next morning.

Akira and Shadow woke up, had their breakfast then they walked outside to start their training.

Akira ran into the forest not to deep, but somewhere where she could still see the top of the castle even with the tall trees. The girl saw a hot spring, then she sat down looking at her Houndour form refection in the water. Little did the girl know that someone was watching her from a distance.

Why cant I have a day off ? Especially on my birthday. Akira sighed ,a tear fell from her left eye and into the water.

Annie and Oakley was watching Akira on their camera a short distance away.

So its the girls birthday today. Annie said.

Akira transformed back to her normal form then wiped the tears from her eyes.

Suddenly an Espeon jumped out of an Oran berry bush with berry juice on her face.

A wild Espeon! Akira quickly pulled out her pokedex.

Espeon the sun Pokémon. The evolution of Eevee. Espeon uses the fine hairs that cover its body to predict an apponents movement.

Akira pulled a pokeball from her belt then released her Jolteon. Espeon looked directly at Akira and her Jolteon.

Sparky,are you ready boy?

Alight Sparky use Thunder.

Sparky used Thunder. Espeon dodged then she used Psychic attack to throw Sparky into the hot spring. Akira ran over to the hot spring then jumped in after Sparky. She saw Sparky sinking deeper in the water. Akira swam down to Sparky, grabbed one of his front paws then swam to the top of the water will pulling her Pokémon along with her, she pulled Sparky out of the water, she climbed out then she did a little CPR .

Suddenly Sparky's eyes opened then he coughed up a little water.

Sparky are you ok?

Im good. Thanks for saving me Akira.

No problem. The girl looked up to see Espeon sitting infront of Sparky then she dropped Oran berry in front of her Pokemon. Sparky smiled than ate the Oran berry.

The girl reach her hand down to Espeon's head then started to pet her.

Suddenly two women started to run up to Akira.

Espeon there you are. Oakley said.

You had us worried. Annie said then she picked up her Pokémon then gave her a hug.

Akira suddenly jumped up then Sparky jumped in front of her.

Thank you for finding my Espeon. Annie said.

Sorry please allow me to introduce ourselves. I'm Annie and this is my sister Oakley.

Akira was nervous, but she went with Annie and Oakley back to their camp. While Annie and Oakley wasn't looking Sparky used Pin Missile. He shot a few pins in the ground every so often to create markers incase something happened and they knew how to get back to the castle. Annie ,Oakley, Akira ,Sparky and Espeon made it back to the camp. They were in an open field in the forest next to a cave. Akira had a bad feeling in her gut, but she kept quiet about it.

This way Melody. Oakley said. She unzipped the zipper to their tent then held the flap open for her.

Akira carefully went inside the tent then she sat down on a fold up camping chair. There was a table infront of her and two other fold up camping chairs on the other side of the table. Oakley left the flap open on the tent so she wouldn't scare their new friend. After that she opened their picnic basket, she pulled out a vanilla cupcake with light purple frosting. Oakley handed Annie a red candle with silver sparkles on it to Annie. She placed the candle on the cupcake then she lit it on fire. Oakley put the cupcake on a small saucer then pushed it toward Akira. Then they sung happy birthday to the girl.

Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday Melody, happy birthday to you. Annie and Oakley sang then clapped.

Akira blew out the candle, removed it from the cupcake, then she made a wish to herself so nobody could hear it. Her wish was to stop Team Rocket's plan and to prevent the end of the world.

Akira took a bite of the cupcake. Wow this is the best cupcake I have ever had! The girl exclaimed.

I'm glad you like it. We made it yesterday before we left our house to come camping. Oakley said smiling.

Akira dropped a small crumb on the floor next to Sparky when she took another bite of her cupcake. He sniffed the crumb then he knew immediately that there was something wrong with it. Sparky tapped his trainer on her leg with his paw.

" Akira I smell something wrong with that cupcake."

I smell something like medicine."

" What! Oh no. You don't think they put some kind of sleeping medicine in the cupcake do you?"

Sparky suddenly started to whimper then he walked over to entrance of the tent.

Yes, you look tired. Maybe you should sit down and take it easy. Annie said then smirked .

No I have to help my friend. Akira walked outside the tent then she fell to her knees.

Annie and Oakley stood up then walked outside their tent.

Melody you really should take it easy you could hurt yourself. Oakley said with a smirk on her face.

Yes how are you feeling Melody, or should I say Akira Akari. Annie said.

Akira gasped , she quickly jumped up then turned around to see Annie and Oakley smirking evilly at her.

How do you know who I am. Akira backed away nervously while Sparky jumped in front of her growling.

She pulled out a tranquilizer dart from her pocket,then she went into the tent to grab her dart gun.

So are you going to come with us or is this going to get interesting? Annie said while Oakley pointed the dart gun at the girl.

Akira suddenly transformed into her Houndour form. She used Smog then she ran into the forest with Sparky.

Espeon. Go after them! Annie pointed in the girls direction.

Ariados capture them! Oakley threw her Pokéball. Ariados appeared then the two Pokémon chased after Akira and Sparky.

The girl and her Pokémon ran for their life. Sparky showed her the path he made with his Pin Missile attack. The two of them finally made it back to the hot spring when the medicine in the cupcake finally kicked in. Akira couldn't hold her transformation. She turned back into her normal appearance, this was the wrong time for that to happen. Suddenly the Pokémon caught up to her. Ariados shot its String Shot attack at Akira, the sticky webbing wrapped around the girls right ankle. Akira tripped. Sparky stopped running then he used Thunder Wave on Ariados the attack hit the pokemon and briefly Paralyzed it, but long enough for Akira to rip the webbing off her ankle. Akira stood up then fell to her knees.

"Akira please get up! We have to run." Sparky said with a tears in its eyes.

" Sparky listen to me. Go get Lucario. They are not far away and they are strong enough to drive Team Rocket away.

Sudddenly Espeon leaped at the girl then used Psybeam. Sparky jumped in front of the attack. He took the attack and still had pleanty of energy to run. Sparky used Thunder and knocked out Espeon.

Sparky im not going to get away, but you can bring help and rescue me before they take me. They want Shadow as well they wont leave without both of us.

"I cant leave you."

"You will and when you come back with Lucario I want you to give them a good ThunderBolt for me."

"Ill do it, I don't like it, but ill do it."

Akira saw Annie and Oakley running closer to her.

"Run now!" Akira exclaimed in her mind.

"Ill be back Akira. I promise." Sparky ran toward the castle to find Lucario.

Akira tried to stand up when suddenly Oakley shot a dart in the ground on front of her. Akira knew she had to think and fast, but that was easier said then done. She was dizzy and had trouble concentrating, but she finally was able to stand up. She started to run, but what she didn't know was Annie ran in a different direction than Oakley, once she got ahead of Akira she hide behind a tree waiting on the girl to get close to her. Once she got in Annie's range she threw a metallic ring at her, but Annie wasn't looking to pin her arms to her side, no she threw the metallic ring at her legs and pinned them together. As soon as the ring trapped the girls legs together she fell onto the ground. She started to use her arms to pull herself forward when Annie stood in front of her blocking her path.

Well you did better than I though you would. Annie said.

Akira looked up at Annie. She saw her looking down at the girl smirking evilly, but her voice echoed around her. Oakley caught up to her sister.

Well that was interesting. I see why Sebastian wanted us to capture her. Normally anyone who ate one of our cupcakes would have just passed out and we would have captured them, but this girl fought through the sedative, defeated our Pokémon and she still managed to almost escape us. Im impressed, but now Akira its time to go to sleep. Make sure you tell Professor Sebastian how much you missed him when you see him.

Oakley shot Akira in the back with a tranquilizer dart then a few seconds later she passed out. The two spies put their Pokémon back into their Pokeballs then they called Sebastian to send someone to pick her up. Ten minutes later Attila, Hun and Pierce walked up to the girl, Attila threw the girl over their shoulder then they all went back to the cave where the good drs were waiting.

Looks like Giovanni's plan is going according to plan. Pierce said.

Yes I agree. Not so smart now are you brat. Nobody escapes us. Hun said smirking evilly while she grabbed Akira's face while walking behind Attila.

Annie and Oakley are no joke. They know how to get the job done without leaving any marks on the girl. Attila said.

We didn't become Giovanni's top spies by catching Caterpie in the forest. Oakley said.

We know how to get the job done efficiently and discretely. Annie said.

While Team Rocket took Akira back to Professor Sebastian, Sparky finally made it back to the castle. He saw Lucario sitting outside with Shadow and he ran as fast as he could up to them.

Lucario! Lucario! Sparky shouted then started gasping for air.

Lucario and Shadow ran up to Sparky.

Sparky whats wrong, where is Akira? Lucario asked.

Team Rocket found us. They captured Akira. Sparky said while breathing heavily. Suddenly he passed out from the damage from Espeon's attack and stress from Akira being captured.

Team Rocket captured Akira. Shadow said then his jaw dropped.

Shadow listen to me, we will find your partner and we will get her back do you hear me? Lucario said as he bent down to Shadows level then grabbed his chin to look into the pups eyes.

Yeah.

Good. Follow me. Lucario picked up Sparky then He and Shadow ran back into the castle to get help for Akira's Pokémon.

Lucario and Shadow ran to the castle. When they got to the door Lucario kicked it open. Lucario closed his eyes to sense his friends auras. When he found their auras He told Shadow to follow him. They ran into the big dining room with the chandelier. Mew, Brianna, Marie, Richard, Jasmine, and Alexis were moving tables around. They also had big bags of decorations on the table they were currently moving. They all suddenly stopped what they were doing when they saw Shadow run into the room with Lucario holding onto Akiras unconsious Pokémon.

Everyone in the room gasped then ran up toward Lucario and Shadow.

Everyone we have a problem. Lucario said with a serious expression on his face.

Whats wrong? Where's Akira? Brianna asked.

Akira has been captured by Team Rocket. I saw Sparky running out of the forest as fast as he could possibly run to let me know what happened to Akira. He passed out while talking to me, I think he was protecting Akira from Team Rocket and he took some harsh attacks. Mew and Marie I want you both to take care of Sparky we are going to need everyone in top condition. Lucario said.

Mew nodded. She used Psychic to lift Sparky then she used Teleport to quickly take Marie and Sparky with her to their infirmary.

Sparky will be alright. Now to the matter at hand. Akira has been captured, but if there is good news its that Shadow is here.

I'm glad Shadow is here , but why is that good news. Brianna asked.

Its good news because its buys us time.

Everyone looked at Lucario with a confused look on their faces.

Ok. Team Rocket is after Akira and Shadow correct.

They have Akira, but they don't have Shadow. They need both of them for their plan. They wont leave without both of them.

So how do we save Akira. Richard asked.

We cant risk Shadow getting captured. Shadow you will stay here with your parents. Once Mew is finished with Sparky she will come with me, Brianna and Jasmine to try and find out where Team Rocket is hiding then we will come up with a plan to rescue Akira.

She felt a finger under her chin pulling her head up.

What Lucario didn't know was that mysterious stranger running toward the castle was actually Akira in her Houndour form.

Akira finally made it back to the castle. She knew she couldn't let anyone see her, she looked up and saw the balcony leading to her room.

The girl reached into her backpack, pulled out an Escape Rope. She bought a special Escape Rope with foldable Grappling hook on it. The girl swung the rope, threw it while holding onto the end of the rope. The hook caught onto the balcony Akira tugged on the rope to make sure it was secure, when she saw it was, she started to climb up the rope. Once on the balcony she grabbed the Grappling hook folded it back up, pulled the rope up, then she placed them both in her backpack.

Akira grabbed the handle on the balcony door and saw it was locked. She pulled out a bobbie pin from her hair then picked the lock. Once the door was unlocked she carefully opened the door. The room was clear.

Akira carefully opened her door. The hall was clear she was headed into the room where Lucario purified her aura. She started down the stairs with the beautiful red carpet. She quietly made it down the stairs and into Lucarios study without anyone noticing her. She walked over to a recliner next to a small table next to the chair with the two books Professor Elm gave Lucario. When she got close to the table she saw Shadow sleeping in the chair. She quickly,but quietly grabbed both books, placed them into her bag. Suddenly Shadow started to wake up. Akira hide behind a couch that was in the corner or the room. She would be able to hide without getting spotted easily. Shadow's eyes opened, he stretched then jumped out of the recliner.

That was a great nap. I hope the guys find Akira and bring her back. If Team Rocket hurts my friend I will destroy them.

Suddenly Shadow's nose caught a familiar scent.

I smell Akira, but that's not possible she isn't here.

Shadow started to smell the floor, he slowly walked toward the couch where Akira was hiding.

When Shadow got to the couch he jumped onto it. He was getting ready to look behind it when Lucario opened the door.

Akira quietly went to the door leading out of the room she is in, she peeked out the door, she saw everyone was in the big dining room. Akira had to be careful not to make any noise going up the stairs, If she could remain quiet, she would have a better chance of getting away. The girl saw Lucario talking to everyone, fortunately for Akira everyone was so focused on what Lucario had to say they didnt notice the girl slowly climbing the steps. When she made it to the top, she went back into her room, but when she was opening the balcony doors she saw a safe sitting in the corner of the room.

I found a safe. I think its possible it could hold those stones, what should I do?

She swung the rope outside on the balcony then when she flung the rope it wrapped around a branch, she pulled on the rope and it was snug. the girl climbed on the railing on the balcony, but right before she jumped Shadow and Lucario burst into the room. When Akira took the stones out of the safe it tripped an alarm. Shadow and Lucario saw Akira at the balcony then gasped.

Give back the stones Akira. Lucario said.

Akira looked at Shadow then chuckled evilly.

See you later puppy child. Akira jumped from the balcony, swung down to a safe height, she let the rope go, dropped to the ground, then she took off running.

Akira don't do this. Shadow yelled down at her.

Suddenly Lucario picked up Shadow in his arms then jumped from the balcony then landed safely on the ground. Lucario let Shadow go then they chased after Akira.

Akira was running back to Professor Sebastian. She knew she was going to have to change forms to have a chance to escape from Lucario. She stopped for a few seconds to put the books into her hoodie pocket. After she put her books in her pocket she looked up and saw Lucario jump down from a tree and Shadow running up behind her. Shadow leaped at Akira. She smirked evilly, then she suddenly grabbed Shadow by his front paw then threw him at Lucario and knocked him off his feet. The girl changed into her Houndour form, used Smog to completely cover her escape route so Lucario couldn't see which way she was going, but as she passed Lucario he grabbed her backpack.

Akira stop, let me help you. Lucario coughed from the Smog.

The girl turned around to claw Lucarios face. Before she could Lucario pulled his leg up then kicked the girl into a tree. The girl tried to run, but she noticed her backpack was stuck on a branch. She turned back into her normal form, then tried to pull the bag off the snag. She pulled to hard and the bottom of her backpack ripped. All three stones fell out of her bag. The girl looked up to see Lucario and Shadow slowly walking towards her. Akira knew she had to cut her losses or fail her mission. The girl changed back into her Houndour form then used Smog. She put the books in her mouth than ran as fast as she could to get back to Team Rocket. Shadow was going to try to chase after her , but Lucario stopped him. Grab the stones and take them back to the castle. Im going after Akira. Lucario saw a plastic bag in the girl's backpack , he put the stones in it, he put the bag in Shadow's mouth, then Shadow ran back to the castle. Lucario had to run as fast as he could to get to Akira before they had a chance to hurt her.

Akira ran back to where the cave and Annie and Oakleys tent was, but when she got there all she saw was one of Team Rockets helicopters. Akira looked around for Professor Sebastian. Suddenly she saw Hun, Pierce, Attila, Dr, Zager and Professor Sebastian jump out of the helicopter. Annie and Oakley were sitting in the front seats of the helicopter Oakley was ready to fly the helicopter back to the HQ. Annie was sitting in the helicopters passanger seat.

Akira changed back to her normal form.

Lucario closed his eyes then concentrated. He could see Akira's aura coming closer to him. He saw what was controlling her aura. He stood there until she got in range then he suddenly grabbed her around her throat with one paw then he took his other paw, grabbed the collar then released her throat with the other paw. Suddenly he ripped the collar in half. The girl passed out in his arms.

I have to get you back to the castle. He threw her over his shoulder then he ran back to the castle.

Akira woke up in her bed with an oxygen mask on her face. She was dehydrated so Lucario put an iv in her arm, she also had gauze wrapped around her head from her hitting the tree. She woke up with lucario and Mew studying the collar that was on her neck.

The girl opened the box, inside she found a hoodie and pants the exact same hoodie and pants she was currently wearing.

Akira went into the bathroom and changed into another set of the same clothes she was currently wearing a black hoodie with a white outline of a Houndour head, Houndour back markings on the back of her hoodie, the sleeve that is at her wrist is grey like the grey bands on a normal Houndour, grey pants, that went with her black and white high tops and light blue shoe string.

Akira came out of the bathroom then walked over to Lucario.

Now, change into your Houndour form.

Akira nodded then changed her form. She saw that instead of her clothes disappearing and her fur appearing this time the hoodie and pants changed size to match her Houndour body frame.

If you look in the small pocket on the lower front of your backpack you will see a belt with your heart shaped aura mark as a belt buckle. It has special slots to put your pokeballs on it. Three on each side.

That is for Shadows pokeball. You can attach the pokeball to the hook on it and keep his pokeball around your neck like a new necklace.

Everyone in the room started dancing to the music. After that song they danced to a few more songs. Then suddenly Akira went over to Brianna then requested the song Blue by Effile 65. Akira put her shades on then she changed into her Houndour form with her hoodie and jeans. Brianna put her black shades on Shadow then they both got up on their hind legs , they high fived each other, they did flips, Akira layed down on her back Shadow jumped on her rear paws then he stood up on his hind legs, Akira pushed with her hind legs, Shadow jumped then did a flip in the air, he landed on his paws, then Akira and Shadow walked on their front paws to do a hand stand. When the song was over they both howled and took a bow. Everyone partied till three oclock in the morning.
