Chapter 28 Oakey Oaks

Alexa's POV

That Night

Edym and I were walking through a corn field.

"So", he started. "The Sinful Energy's in a corn field?"

"Nope", I replied as I looked at my Gummi Phone. "The Sinful Energy tracker Ienzo put in my Gummi Phone isn't picking a signal nearby."

"So where's the Sinful Energy then", Edym asked.

"Somewhere in this world", I replied.

"So now we just need to figure out the 'where' part", Edym pointed out.

Before I could say anything else...I heard this.

"Somebody please help us", I heard somebody yell.

"Sounds like somebody's in trouble", I pointed out.

"Duh", Edym pointed out. "Come on! Let's go help them out! It's Demyx and Lexi time!"

"You mean Edym and Lexi time", I pointed out.

"Right", Edym said. "Still getting used to the whole 'going by my real name again' thing. Let's go!"

With that...we ran towards where we had heard the screaming come from, and when we got there, we were taken by surprise.

"Lexi", Edym started. "Am I going crazy or do you see a chicken, duck and pig walking on two feet and wearing clothes too?"

Edym was right. Currently being attacked by a group of Heartless was a chicken, duck and pig that were standing on two feet (or flippers and hooves in this case) and wearing clothes too."

"You say that as if our captain isn't a giant dog person", I pointed out. "And that the king he guards is a mouse."

"Good point", Edym said. "Come on! Let's save these weird animal, people things."

With that, Edym and I jumped in between the animals and the Heartless.

"Who are you two", the chicken asked in shock.

"Do you want us to explain now or after we save your guys' lives", Edym asked sarcastically.

"After please."

Ten Minutes Later

Edym and I had just finished off all of the Heartless.

"Wait a minute", the chicken started. "I've seen that weapon before. Do you guys know a guy named Sora?!"

"We do", I replied.

"Oh yeah", Edym added. "Totally. Sora and I go way back."

"Well", the chicken started. "Any friend of Sora is a friend of mine. My name is Chicken Little!"

"Oh", Edym started. "I get it! It's 'cause your a little chicken."

"Yes", the chicken (who I now knew was named Chicken Little) agreed in annoyance. "I know I'm little. Anyway, these are my friends Abby and Runt."

"It's very nice to meet you all", I greeted.

"Yeah yeah", the duck (who I now knew was named Abby) started. "Nice to meet you too, but now if you excuse us, we need to go save our friend who has just been kidnapped!"

Ten Minutes Later

Edym and I followed Chicken Little and his friends to a baseball field.

One thing led to another, and before we knew it...in said baseball field...was an alien ship.

And inside said alien ship...was Chicken Little's friend Fish.

"Oh snap."
